genuinely curious, why was there a community effort within the ml fandom to raise funds for Ukraine last year but not for Gaza this time round?

is it due to politics in the US or whatever donations we can give to Gaza will be bombed anyway?

First off, I don't like the tone you used because it sounds not only defeatist but also just plain rude. I'm gonna treat this ask like it was in good faith and answer honestly but next time maybe don't sound so passive aggressive

Idk why there isnt. I'm not in the ML fandom really anymore so i cant tell you. Last time my friends and I got involved and we did it together along with some others. Idk why no has done it but I can't say I'm surprised given the way some of the ml fans and blogs have come after me for my support for Palestine and the things I've said about Israel and Biden. Frankly, I'd rather distance myself from them completely. If someone does show their support and organize I will be glad for it but given how little I've seen even acknowledging whats happening in Gaza from this fandom, I'm not surprised they won't. Disappointed but not surprised.

If you're trying to say something about rude about me specifically, I did donate and shared a bunch for a fundraiser in my current fandom, but that was all before we learned that Israel won't let any aid into Gaza. It's not about "it's all going to get bombed anyway" which again is so fucking rude and cruel to say when there are multiple efforts to help Gazans directly. But Israel's siege means the millions of dollars in aid raised are useless because it's all sitting in trucks at the border as Israel slaughters everyone.

That's why Gazans are asking us to protest and continue talking about this and demanding ceasefire. Instead of waiting for someone with your blorbo to donate, follow Palestinians and advocacy groups that are trying to help so you know what they need.

This isn't something that's gonna happen easily because unlike Ukraine, which had the backing of the US and every other power, we are actively fighting against our governments. Gazans don't need your money. They need you to fight for them

Ok think I’ve finally got my thoughts together on the bright situation and im just gonna say it.

Its not gonna work.

It basically is just slapping on a new name on dr bright and calling it a day. Like. No matter what u do its the same character, it does nothing. Djkaktus said it himself that he was “always writing elias shaw.” That “any similarities are just a coincidence.”

So its funny seeing some of the ppl thats on board with this claim that “u cant separate the art from the artist” and yet that’s exactly what they're trying to achieve. Except, u know, the community had already done that a long time ago, ripping bright out of the hands of admin bright. So really, no change is actually being made.

Anyway with that out of the way I do want to address some concerns about djkaktus.

I’ve been looking around and have seen people mentioning that the dude:

1. Was quiet about the admin bright thing when it was happening along with actually being one of the people trying to cover it up

2. Had been banning people simply cuz they didn’t like his works

3. he’s an alleged predator

Now I havent personally found much relating to this other than people's words on it on tumblr. Tho someone on insta has told me that djkaktus was extremely quiet during the bright situation. Which yea it took an entire year after admin bright was banned to only now bring up this elias shaw bs.

Now if anyone has sources on any of this, links, screenshots, anything, it’d be a great help if ya can send it to me via replying to this post or dm-ing me. It would better help spread this awareness around.

Also regarding articles that had brights name replaced w/ SA jokes that haven’t been edited out which is something else that also has been mentioned to me, would appreciate it to get more scps/tales listed regarding that. Only got 4498 so far which has a really bad um…”butt stabbing” joke...I mostly did skim read it so I’ll have a proper read at some point.

Tldr:

- Elias Shaw is pointless and does nothing.

- People who are saying u can't separate art from artists are tryna separate bright from author.

- Djkaktus was quiet during the admin bright situation and potentially was tryna cover it up, has been banning ppl for not liking his stuff, is an alleged predator and hasnt edited out sa jokes in articles where he changed bright’s name.

Correct me if I’m wrong on anything or anything like that.

Edit: reminder to take the djkaktus stuff as a grain of salt (especially the predator allegations) as it did come from pixelated harmony who did in fact doxxed someone

Happy Earth Day peeps! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

I haven’t written in a while but I wanted to write something for this occasion, and more posts about environmentalism since its something i’m quite passionate about. Coronavirus is pretty much all anyone’s talking about lately. And as a result , our entire way of living has been adjusted due to the outbreak: Staying indoors, washing our hands, and social distancing has become the new normal.

But just because we’re experiencing difficult times doesn’t mean we should lose sight of the bigger picture which is caring for the earth. 

Thinking about sustainability is even more important now because it connects us to the world at a time we’re told to quarantine ourselves. We’re told now more than ever to purchase single-use hand sanitizers, face masks, gloves, and other products. 

Unfortunately, these items will likely end up in landfills, or worse - the environment. Already, face masks are polluting the shores of Hong Kong. Also, people fear reusable items like never before - some businesses flat out refusing reusable mugs, containers and produce bags. While I understand we want to stay healthy, and prevent the spread of the virus, we should still make a conscious effort to think about how our decisions effect the Earth too. So, with this in mind, here’s how to stay zero waste during the coronavirus outbreak.

Why should we care about zero waste right now?

Sustainability probably isn’t on the forefront of anyone’s mind right now, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still care or talk about it. As I mentioned earlier, thinking about sustainability helps us connect to the world in a time we’re told to bunker down and stay inside. It helps us appreciate things and maybe view the world a little differently. And, as scary and disheartening as all of this is - there is some good news too.

For example, there have been several reports of clearer waters in Venice where fish are now visible. Air pollution has dropped significantly in Italy due to the fact that fewer fossil fuels are being burned from people staying indoors. Even New York, Los Angels, Chicago, Seattle and Atlanta have reported significant drops in air pollution.

I’m well aware these positive changes come at a cost - so they’re bittersweet, at most. However, they can’t be ignored. It would be fantastic if, after the emergency is over, we could remember the beauty we’ve seen reappear in the world and do our best to preserve it.

There’s of course negative news as well, single-use items are being disposed on the daily and ending up littering up our community. Worst part is, these gloves and masks are not biodegradable or good for the environment - they’re made with petroleum. They’re also a health hazard because you can’t exactly pick these items up without worrying you’ll catch something.

That’s why it’s so important to think about sustainability right now. And zero waste does figure into all of that. By remaining zero waste during this time, we’re acting on our commitment to bettering the planet as a whole. 

How can I stay zero waste during the coronavirus outbreak?

Thankfully, there are several ways to make an impact during this time. All hope is far from lost.

Make the most of your food by reducing food waste

In this hard time, the food we eat should be cherished. With so many people struggling to put meals on the table due to job loss, we need to make our food last us. One way we can do this is by cooking with leftovers. For example, if you have some leftover rice and vegetables - make fried rice. Or turn boiled potatoes into mash.You can also get creative and make vegetable stock out of food scraps, turn mushy berries into jam, pickle some fruit. Or getting into some good old composting.

Invest in reusable masks and gloves

During this time, you’ll likely see a ton of people walking around with face masks and gloves on. Most of them are single use too. As I mentioned earlier, lots of face masks and gloves are being littered right now. 

It’s bad enough these items are single use only, they should be disposed of properly. Face masks have already started to wash up on the shores of Hong Kong in addition to other ocean polluters. Yikes.

Cloth masks havent been proven to be as efficient as clinical face masks in filtering the air, but for those who are sick and would like to prevent infection to others, the cotton does aid in catching water droplets from coughing and such. Just make sure to wash them regularly.

Instead of plastic gloves, consider using those reusable rubber gloves that people use to wash dishes sometimes. You can wash them with soap or even boil them to disinfect.

Decluttering

If you haven’t yet read Marie Kondo’s book “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up”, now’s a good time to get inspired. Time to go through all of your items and find the items that truly “spark joy” and be rid of the rest. Unfortunately during this time, you can’t exactly donate items to thrift shops. More than likely, thrift shops will be closed. However, you can at least set items aside to be donated once all of this is over. If you’re not comfortable waiting that long, you can always try selling it online like on Depop or Carousel.

That said, don’t be afraid to throw certain things out. I know that may seem kind of counterproductive, as I’m advising you to stay zero waste during this crisis.However, I’m fully aware there are some items we hold onto as zero wasters because we hope to keep them out of the landfill as long as possible. Items that are hard to recycle, or we don’t know how to recycle; items we believe we can fix but never get around to fixing; items simply destined for landfill one way or the other.

I know it hurts to let these items go, but you have to. It’s good for your mental health, and for the sake of your home. Remember: There is no such thing as being fully zero waste. We can get very close, but the truth is, our economy is a linear one. And every living creature creates waste of some sort. Now, this doesn’t mean I want you throwing out perfectly good items. Try to find items homes first! See if your friends or family want items you don’t first. Then, if not, seek to donate or sell. But obviously things like clothing tags and junk mail must go.

Invest in reusable period products

At this moment of crisis, with everyone panic buying basic necessities, menstrual pads and tampons are starting to get scarce so much so, you might have a hard time finding those items these days . This might be a good time to try out some sustainable alternatives. Women spend an enormous price in period products throughout their lifetime, so investing in reusables not only keeps a phenomenal amount of waste from landfills, but also saves the time going to the store and a whole lot of money.

Personally i use a menstrual cup (which i might write a whole post about it later), but for the less adventurous there are a good few other choices like reusable cloth pads and period panties (which sounded like a miracle when i first heard about them, but i haven’t seemed to be able to find any sold locally for now)

Heck, invest in reusable anything…

Its not just pads and tampons with reusable counterparts, if you want to get a little advanced in zero waste, try swapping out any disposable items possible, like stainless steel safety razors for plastic ones (ask your granddad), the infamous metal straw for plastic straws, or even things as simple as bar soap for bottled body soap.

Shop for food without the waste

During this time, please only stock up on what you need. You don’t have to hoard food - there’s plenty to go around. There’s more than enough food for everyone. Just take what you need and leave some for others.

To continue shopping sustainably, you can bring your own reusable shopping bags or produce bags (or you can diy some from old pillow cases)

I understand not everyone will be able to shop in bulk during this time for dry goods. So, you should shop as if you have no bulk food options. This means opting for items packaged in paper, cardboard, glass and aluminum.

If you must get something packaged in plastic, get the biggest container you can afford. Smaller plastics especially cling film are harder to or even impossible to recycle. Less than 9% of plastic is actually recycled so the less we consume, the less will likely end up in the landfill or oceans.

"NO!" The word reverberates throught the halls of the bunker.

Y/n was pissed, how could her brothers ask such a thing of her. Why couldnt Rowena or gabriel do it. Her eyes stare at Dean and Sam with such anger that even the fires of hell didnt match up to the heat of her rage.

"Y/n please, I have to continue research for this hunt, and y'know Sam cant do it." Dean's eyes begged their sister to understand, there was just to much bad blood between them that torturing Lucifer would just get out of hand.

"But why do I have to be the one to torture him....you know I cant stand what goes on I that room" she felt so defeated.

Torture just wasnt her thing, hell she didnt even hate monsters, she knew they had to survive in their own way as well, but she knew it was best to protect others.

"Yes, but he isnt aware of who you are, as far as people go, only gabriel, cas and Rowena know you are our sister and that you exist." Dean was looking at her pleadingly.

Her brothers hounded her and brought up old favors until she agreed.

"Fine, but the second something goes wrong, I'm out of there and you have to clean up whatever mess it is."

"Fine, deal..now please just go get the info we need" Sam was less than pleased with her having to do this but knew it was the best choice.

Lucifer p.o.v

'Wonder what's taking those, 2 hairless apes so long' I lean back in my chair the chains rattling with every movement. Examining the room I'm held in the walls are covered in wards and entrapments. I'm observing the wall of doom and torture when the cabinets are slid open and then slammed.

"Finally decided to show yourselves boys-" my eyes widen and I'm actually struck speachless when instead of the gruff plaid winchesters, standing there is a (s/c), (e/c) woman. She was dressed in baggy Jean's too big for her, a black tank top, and her hair a was a beautiful (h/c).

"Well this is a surprise, so where did the winchesters pick, a tiny little pretty thing like you, up from" he raises an eyebrow when no response is given not even a glare.

3rd person.

Meanwhile on the inside you were dying, you had never seen the angel before today your brothers had only ever told you about how he was such a horrible and evil being. They'd never let you know anything about him other than that preferring to keep you as far away from the apocalypse as possible.

'The least they could of done was tell me how goddamn tempting his vessel was...and oh my jesus his voice, the things I could do to him' like a light bulb suddenly going off in her head a grin spreads across her face and picks up a large knife the table and saunters her way over to him.

"Good afternoon, Lucifer correct? My names (y/n) Winchester, let's get started shall we." She could see the way his eyes had widened at hearing her name.

"I wasnt aware the boys even had a younger sibling, well besides Adam of course, not to mention such a cute -!!! Fucking hell!" His teasing was cut off as a blade is slammed down into his hand, pinning him to the chair.

"Let's get things straight luci dearest, you see I'm not too fond of the whole cutting people up for info, so we are going to do things a little differently." Her smirk and the edge in her eyes could cut steel.

"Oh and what would that entail, you damned mud monkey." He wouldnt ever say it, but that look in her eye was really doing something to him. He could feel the excitement bubble in his vessels stomach, when she sets her self onto his lap. Her legs straddling his own.

She pulls the blade from hand and runs the tip along his jaw leaving a trail of blood in its wake, as she reaches his neck she lightly pushes the blade down drawing blood.

He expects her to leave more cuts but when she leans down and licks dripping blood from is neck all the way up to his ear, she nips the lobe and whispers, "let's say we have a little competition, who ever moans first has to help the other."

And with that she flips the knife in her hand and uses it to cut open his shirt. She takes in every bit of his unveiled vessel, from his strong chest to his little tummy pouch, she was getting excited, as far as she was concerned this was a win win situation, she was getting a good time either way.

Lucifer however was downright surprised out of all the scenarios he had thought would happen, the apparent little sister of the winchesters tearing his clothes off and going down on him was not one of them, he couldnt say he was complaining though, who knows if this turns out to be a good experience he might just take her with him, the first chance he gets to bolt.

After all, the winchesters wouldnt be able to get rid of his kid, like the first one, if it's one of their own.

"Well isnt this just cute, what is it little Winchester, does my vessel excite you...or maybe it's my voice, or maybe your like me and want to do something naughty to rebel against your big overprotective brothers." He relaxes against the chair as his pants are slipped down his thighs and her shirt is thrown across the room.

Y/n stands from his lap, and unbuckles her Jean's, kicking her shoes off ahe let's the material hang off her hips. Turning her back to Lucifer she bends over to completely remove her Jeans giving him a clear and perfect view of the curve of her ass.

Settling herself back onto his lap she coudnt help but notice how well she fit against him, his cold chest pressed against her own as she lowers herself down onto him. The feel of the stretch and cold inside her was almost to much. Her felt amazing and it took everything to remember not to moan.

"I'll be honest, I was expecting more from the so called father of sin." Her mocking stare bores into his own lust filled.

"Oh sweetheart, it's cute that you think you have the upper hand here," Lucifer leans forward and starts leaving a trail of bites along her neck, "if these chains werent in the way I'd have you bent over this chair screaming my name to the heavens themselves."

(Y/n) couldnt stop the shiver of excitement run through her at the thought of being dominated by such a strong and powerful being.

Your movements against each other havent slowed, both of you trying to get as close as possible. Her hips snapping into his. The feeling of that little knot building within her belly followed by Lucifer snapping his hips up into hers, hitting that special spot deep within, drags out her orgasm and low moan from her lips.

She was too far gone to even care about the self satisfied smirk he was sporting. It disappeared however at the feeling of her squeezing his member, the heat from her body was amazing, and the look of ecstasy on her face, draws out his own orgasm.

Lucifer stands and stretches his satisfied Vessels muscles, before turning to her with that cocky smirk.

"Oh did I forget to mention...you'll be coming with me, never been so satisfied from a human before." He wraps his arm around her waist expecting a slight struggle, however is surprised when she just goes limp against his side and buries her face in his chest.

"Fine, the deal was to help with whatever we need, just let me sleep before round 2, I dont have you angelic stamina" and with a flap of wings they're gone.
