okay so no idea how i should refer to myself as so: hi!! im the person who had way too much fun writing ai/nino toxic yuri on ao3! i was gonna just lurk (me, tumblr account with privated likes, reblogs and follows) BUT how could i with the promise of people being normal about fictional unhealthy gay women. idk if this is the optimal way to communicate i use tumblr with the sole purpose of following 4 people and digging up ai content

i am honestly so flattered (but also kinda upset at the lack of content on them aside from my own 1k word long oneshot please keep recommending if you find more stuff on them) that you enjoyed and recommended my fics considering i just straight up had no clue where i was going: okay so top priority i want them to kiss —> but also with how things are nino would probably lash out (read: bite) —> ai would be hesitant but also is so desperate that she’d still accept it happily —> this will fuel ninos idea of ai being the perfect, invincible idol —> and then i ran and tried not to trip with the rest

your translations of the side stories and blog was probably what helped me get in to oshi no ko again because even though i am still not over ai being dead i can now listen to someone talk about how great and tragic and sad and miserable she was along with all the other characters so thank you again!

that said it does make me so happy every time I hear people saying my relentless oshi no posting stands out to them to the degree that it does lol. I guess I'm in a similar place as you where, as happy as I am for it, it does make me a little sad that it feels like there's such little fan interest in lengthy meta and discussion on Ai herself outside of some really banal, surface level stuff. To a degree, I get that with other characters having so much more time on the page and having ongoing arcs to speculate about, but Ai is sooooooooo fascinating to me and it really drives me insane how often I see people make zero effort to engage with her arc beyond her utilitarian function in the story. It also really bums me out how often I see her get reduced to just a stepping stone in the arcs of other characters — even though the manga is literally shaking you right now and begging you to understand and empathize with her more than ever, I straight up see people cheering and crowing about Ruby 'surpassing' her or 'becoming the true Ai' as if this is a good thing and they are not completely fucking missing the point lmao.

ANYWAY!!!! That's enough grumping because the actual point of this response was to say: the Ai posting will continue until I am physically forced to stop!!!! I have so many thoughts about my wife constantly and if I do not share them I will explode!!!

The last sp episode was soo good im so happy we got kyles lil gay speeches back. Also the plot was so effortlessly funny

When everyone told kyle to shut up about the prince and his stupid wife and he proceeded to stop for 0.4 seconds then be like "oh yeah also!did you know the prince-" and the boys just left him 😭 hes so me when i speak about my hyperfixations lmfao (even though hes not talking about one)

ALSO yes her mask is based on Sectonia DX because wearing masks made of rubies that have been cut to resemble the head of your wife is epic, also yes she cuddles with Sectonia every night, yes they sleep in the same bed and yes they always put their minecraft beds next to eachother's minecraft beds

He escaped after being isolated for so long, went into hiding, built an airship, and escaped Popstar!!! While he sailed around Space, he did find an abandoned species and took em in as his army!!! [He loves them very much.]

He made them little helmets like his!! And the species is able to change colors depending on who they’re around with/where they are, so they now look like mini versions of him!!

Odysseus eventually returned to Dreamland, everyone thought he was an invader, HE thought they had recognized him and we’re trying to capture him again. So what happened? There was a bit of a battle!!!! Odysseus had a duel with Meta Knight, which was gay as hell. Odysseus lost the duel because he had spotted Dedede, which was also gay as hell!! I’m still working on BOTH stories for BOTH characters. Eventually though, Odysseus does end up dating Dedede and Meta Knight while Chara goes through serious issues!!!

Technically i hc i initiated the whole relationship officially. But shang showed interest before i did. But again. I made the move,i took a risk.

i would like to know more about your thoughts on the timeline if you’d like to share it. (not the anon from before) i haven’t been doing that but i am halfway there because im going through basically every one of their interactions and thinking if he was straight that whole time then what is this. because it just makes no sense to me. i know some people don’t wanna speculate about his sexuality since he said he was straight but i just don’t know what to think anymore.

i will try to put some stuff into words though i have to say it is difficult to be very coherent about all of this lmfao and i will put it under a cut because i understand that some people don't wanna read about this and also this got quite long. oops.

what i did is i went through all of the masterposts, with the pov that misha is straight and is nothing but straight (as in: we might have seen him fool around on stage with guys for funsies and he has mentioned gay sex but for all we know that could be only in threesomes with his wife and he considers himself straight. i think there might be more nuance to the situation but this is the way his twitter thread read to the general audience and so that is what i am going with.) my intent was to see if there is anything that has happened that would make absolutely zero sense if nothing has ever transpired between them.

first thing of note is that imho, jensen is a smitten kitten with heart eyes for days and honestly i don't think anything could convince me otherwise. that makes for a pretty complex situation and it might sound sad at first, but when you look at the two of them and their connection, i think it is safe to say that in the end it doesn't matter all that much cause they love each other anyway even if it's strictly platonic and they are clearly very close.

a lot of their public interactions boil down to jensen being the overly smitten one and misha teasing jensen, and making lots of jokes. like a LOT of jokes lmao but i mean i guess that is their dynamic and they are both fine with it cause that's been the way it is from the start. i think a lot of their interactions can be explained as them just being close friends who are touchy feely and one of them finds the other attractive.

here are the things that don't make sense to me if nothing ever happened between them past friendship: the times they have implied waking up in the same room together (like i am all for being frugal but to my knowledge these two millionaires have no reason to share a hotel room but even if they do share one because of budgetary reasons, that wouldn't be a reason to get flustered when you almost misspeak about it. plus one time misha said 'i woke up in jensen's room' which clearly means he has his own room as well. i'm so sorry btw but i'm not gonna be digging up receipts love and light <3 shdfh you will just have to trust me)

giving your friend a ring so that you have mathing rings and/or sharing that ring, and other things like bracelets and necklaces (???? sorry it will never make platonic sense to me i mean i guess it is possible but it would seriously baffle me. giving someone jewelry for their birthday is one thing but having matching jewelry is uh. well. special i guess lmao)

the infamous an*l sex joke. like???? WHY "you'd know"?????

things that are kinda strange but i guess not impossible if they are just friends are the anniversary pic (pretty wild to go to such lenghts to recreate a friendly dinner that had no special meaning and that happened when you already knew each other for a year and a half) and the chest to chest selfie because there litteraly was no room for jesus and honestly wtf is that. i don't pose with my friends like that i can tell you that much at least. also the clothes sharing sorry i still find that weird you are both rich there is zero reason for that but okay it's not impossible. (living together in secret also comes to mind for the same reason.)

another thing that comes to mind is just how fucking sad misha seemed when he thought he was gone for good after s7, and how it really really looks like something happened between him and jensen that was some kind of a fallout. i guess friend fallouts can also happen though, so it could be just a platonic issue they had, but. idk. it was a lot, if that is the case.

that being said, one thing that would make sense in this narrative, and it's honestly a cursed thought so i am SO sorry but here we go: men in woods is about jensen, jensen tried to kiss misha and he rejected him, and that is why he was so awkward about it when alona tal asked him if he ever kissed jensen that one time.

OKAY that hurt to write lmao cause yikes if that is the case that is a whole other can of worms that i do not wanna open.

now i will touch a little bit upon my own thoughts in the matter: i think it is very possible that misha is queer and just didn't realise how far it would go this time (i.e. reach the media) and that is why he had to make a statement cause he either got cold feet/got worried/got a call from his agent/etc. going back into the closet IS a real thing real people go through and just stating 'give it up, he has said he is straight' is harmful imo, cause it IS a possibility, and one that i personally think would make a lot of sense considering everything we know.

i think i will leave it at that, cause it's a touchy subject and for me personally kinda hard to talk about. as you have probably noticed, most asks i get about this situation go unanswered cause i just don't wanna get into endless discussions etc. so yeah. i hope this is not gibberish lmao.

hi hi we’re back

second part to “this” in a sense, this is more for the Remorse! AU, my second main AU, or the future of the Reborn Database! AU

-Sam’s father wasn’t neglectful or abusive, he had depression and anxiety because he felt he couldn’t provide for his wife and daughter because of how badly his job paid him. He left home when Sam was only 4 so he doesn’t remember much of him, but she doesn’t hold a grudge against him.

-A couple of days after Sam met Eteled, she got really excited, because she felt she finally had a father figure in her life.

-Sam’s mother wasn’t very financially stable on her own either. But either way, she provided Sam with whatever she wanted.

-After the passing of her mother, Sam went into intense mourning. It was hard for her to get out of bed most mornings and she needed Eteled and Austin to help her wake up when she was still asleep. Kyle moved into her house for a short time to take care of her.

-Sam couldn’t pay her house rent on her own so she had to move in with Kyle and his dad. She brought Eteled and Austin with her.

-Austin was actually the one who helped Sam through his gender confusion.

-Eteled still holds a grudge against Kyle but it’s not as intense.

-Eteled’s anger issues still trigger, so Austin needs to hold him back sometimes for comfort.

-On Sam’s final day of school, she brought Austin and Eteled with her on her laptop to scare Will. It worked like a charm and he shows her more respect now. Even 5 years later, he still doesn’t fuck around with her.

-Eteled’s voice glitches when he’s mad. Austin’s does it when he’s overwhelmed/stressed/sad.

-Nathan still talks to Kyle and goes to his house. He sometimes jokes around with Sam but he still remains scared of Eteled (and Austin).

-Austin can probably float because fuck gravity am i right

-Yes, Austin has a scythe, Eteled is a SMIDGE BIT jealous.

-Austin has long forgiven Eteled, mostly because being mad at him for eternity, since after Sam, Nathan and Kyle “leave”, they’ll only have each other.

-A!Austin looked up to Henry for some reason. It was probably because he was always so calm looking about everything.

-Sam listens to music with Eteled and Austin at night to help them sleep. And half of the time it’s like, intense and loud.

-Austin can pull a pen out of thin air when he needs something, unfortunately for them, xey is completely shit at drawing. So Eteled draws for them and Austin lists off details.

-When Austin falls asleep, Eteled wakes up so he can go watch horror movies with Sam and Kyle.

-Austin can go off track in a ramble if no one stops him. Eteled likes listening to it.

-Austin and Eteled don’t age.

-Austin’s voice isn’t that glitchy anymore.

These last ones are for shits and giggles but they’re still headcanons LMFAO

-Eteled has definitely meowed or whispered in front of Austin with his deep voice to throw them off.

-Eteled makes his normal voice high cuz he knows no one in the house is ready to hear his actual voice everyday.

-Kyle makes jokes that Nathan and Eteled are on sync because they normally pass out to nap around the same time.

-Austin bends over awkwardly to talk to Eteled just to make them mad.

-Eteled has called Kyle and Nathan his “sons” when he’s jokingly pissed off.

-Every time Eteled makes a mistake, he just goes “shut up im gay i dont know anything”. So Austin uses that excuse whenever they’re losing an argument to him.

-Eteled watches Sam play cottagecore games because he finds it relaxing. Austin probably drags him over when she plays horror/action games with Kyle to spite him.

-Everyone has collectively agreed to not fuck with Sam and Eteled. And especially not Austin.

First of all i want to mention that Aysha is non-binary poc and is married to a woman. This doesnt exempt her from possibly writing some shitty things, but its good to have perspective here. Shes not some cishet white person writing these characters.

So are you going to ignore the literal thousands of pages of the original comic where we had a PLETHORA of Rosemary interactions??? And absolutely no davekat? And if you remember Kanaya was still having hang ups with Vriska, so it only made sense that that was explored a bit in Pesterquest rather than jumping straight to Rose and Kanaya cuddling on a couch and spewing gay poetics at each other. Like I genuinely dont know what you fucking want.

Also i would like to point out that romance wasnt even the fucking focus of Pesterquest. Dave and Karkat’s interactions were barely anything more than characters mentioning them and them being in the same place together for one single ending and mspar implying that they had a feeling they were supposed to be good friends. Tbh it sounds like you and the people who often have this complaint are way more fucking obsessed with what’s going on with Davekat than Aysha or the rest of the team will ever be. Maybe you should redirect your efforts into creating more wlw content for Homestuck since you think the new team is so lesbophobic for portraying two grown ass women having some marital problems (and acting like that cant happen in the real world with real people literally every day).

You and tons of other people fucking love to point to Kanaya and Rose’s issues in hs2 and preach that it’s suddenly lesbophobic that theyre not happy go lucky 24/7. Again, Davekat didnt even fucking happen in the og comic. We had one flash where Dave rests his head on Karkat’s lap and they’re playing hopscotch on a poorly drawn dick on the ground, meanwhile Rose and Kanaya had comfortably been together for Awhile at that point. I just don’t understand how Dave and Karkat finally having a semi-functional and happy relationship in hs2 is promoting lesbophobia. Also we didnt even get to see the comic FINISH!! As for the Jade dog dick thing, I have multiple friends who are trans women who have issues with people blowing it out of proportion. Its important to remember that every trans woman is going to have a different opinion on this, and we shouldnt invalidate any of them, but at the same time what one trans woman says about it isnt the end all be all of the situation. Some trans women think this portrayal is transphobic, while plenty others think it isnt, and that people are making way too big of a deal out of it. Therefore I’m going to leave it at that. Personally I dont know if how Aysha and the team wrote Jade is transphobic and its not for me to decide. However, my trans friend would like to be quoted saying this:

i was also very out of the loop but [redacted] were/are? on the same label(ish) and i used to be very big and Knowledgeable in old bandom. so i got dragged into it

brendon has this bodyguard named zack hall and he fucking sucks, i was in bandom from like 13ish-17ish and there was always stuff going around about zack letting you backstage if you showed your tits or and was actively soliciting nudes and would catcall underage girls at meet and greets or whatever. everybody hates zack. he would also do shit like post pictures of fans and call them fat. he did a lot of power-play stuff with fans like take their medications away just to be an asshole (against disability rules), scream at them, etc. zack is also like 40

brendon has known, and never cared, about any of this, and most fans agree he was complicit in a lot of zack’s stuff, like the backstage passes, and a lot of the stuff like the nudes and the calling fans fat happened on social media, so brendon knew.

ANYWAY, it got to the point where a bunch of former panic! team members like ian crawford, dallon weekes, and breezy weekes got involved saying he had been severely bullying or sexually harassing them. dallon now fronts the popular band IDKHBTFM, so it went nuclear

eventually, in november, brendon did a half-ass embarrassing twitch stream where he went on and on about how zack is his best friend, and then read some piece of paper his dumb as shit publicist wrote about how nobody fucks with his fans so zack wont work with fans anymore. which i doubt is even sincere.

but ANYWAY, brendon refuses to say he will remove zack from the team, because he has ZERO plans to. it is not enough because zack is creating a hostile work environment and sexually harassing or bullying his coworkers and threatening women on tour, like he set his lockscreen as a picture of dallon’s wife’s tits and texted her about it, and a lot of his bullying of ian and dallon was very like. gay-charged. like if these are the famous people that came forward, what about all the lowly roadies and merch ppl we dont know about??

penny first discovered a love for computers in her sophomore year of high school, when she signed up for a computer class because the boy she was crushing on was taking it. well, crushes fade, but her interest in the ones and zeroes that composed the modern computer didn’t. the first week of her first year at rvu, penny cried herself to sleep every night. she’d never been apart from her sisters for so long. not to mention she stuck out like a sore thumb in her software engineering classes, which were overwhelmingly male ( and in need of deodorant ).

Why I like them: hes a cocky bastard but also a giant idiot

Why I don’t: theres actually nothing I don't like about him akshsgsj like yea I know he imprisoned Asra's parents and made him an orphan at like 6 and everything but who hasnt made a mistake or two in their life?

Favorite season/movie: from what we have of his route so far I really like book 9: the hermit. it's got a lot of good hurt/comfort and that's my shit
