Context (MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS from Lotus' Crown and Return of the Mara Onmyoji event):

At the end of Return of the Mara especially, it is revealed that Taishakuten was "playing" the tyran role so that Asura kills him and be see as the Hero he truly is by the people. Asura didn't know this of course but upon hearing it, he save everyone and, with the powers he had obtained thanks to Taishakuten, literally rewrite History so it says that it's Taishakuten who defeated and sended him to the Abyss, locking himself away from his lover dear friend.

This animatic is a scene entirely created by me, as if supposed to happen after the event. It basically shows Asura sulking as he is unable to go to his partner, blasting music to soothe the pain even just a little, only for Garuda (Asura's subordinate, the winged one) to witness that "ugly" moment.

Asura was gone for a long day again, you just lied in bed waiting for him to come back.

“Ugh. When is he gonna come back…?” Laying on your side and hugging the other pillow that was on the bed.

You slowly started to fall asleep as you waited, hugging the pillow pretending it was him was enough for now. But after he comes back your gonna tackle him with cuddles.

An hour or two passed until you heard the door slide open with Asura filling the room with his scent, letting you know he was now home. “Flame?”

“Mn..?” You mumbled still half asleep. But turning around to face him. Eyes half open.

“You ok?” He asked getting in the bed with you, hugging you on the waist. Giving you a kiss on top of your head, knowing you were probably touch starved to be away from him for a day.

“Where were you…? I wanted cuddles….” You said quietly.

“Sorry Mîr it was a bit busy today on the field. I wanted to come home early to you but…I- they kept getting in the way. I’m sorry love.” Asura said giving you more kisses.

You accepted his apology as you snuggled into his chest, basking in his warmth and tracing his muscles until you fell asleep again.

You felt so save in his arms, his warmth being around you, on his strong chest and listening to his heartbeat quickly lulled you to sleep.
