i understand the need to take breaks and pace yourself so you aren't overwhelmed. it's important to take care of yourself so you can keep going in the good fight. i myself usually catch up on news about once a day when i feel equipped for it. that said:

My only defense of conceptual follower Benny is that he was a warrior nomad and a raider, that still has it in him if we take the All Roads comic into consideration, and how he is not like a real dainty soft hand city slicker, cause it’s mostly an act.

So in scenarios where he is forced to travel with the Courier I 100% think he’d be like “What do ya mean you can’t scale a mountain, pussycat? Watch how the pros do it.” And then you see him scuttle up a cliff face scarily fast only to have to save him when he bumps into a Cazador nest.

#reminder his ability stat is 6 and strength 7 so this guys moderately good at physical stuff #like in all realness military and raiders would have lower charisma and intelligence in fallout cause they may know basic stuff it’ would #usually only be for survival #cause what’s interesting about the tribes is that they are all raiders and copycats like yes they can be representative of indigenous tribe #of the wasteland it not of the culture of irl indigenous people as the game makes it clear they are just copying behavior they have heard #read or are just justifying their violent behavior cause the khans like literally read a book on the mongols and said we could bastardize #this and it’s not pointed out enough but it fits the themes of people misinterpreting the past #but back to Benny he’s like weirdly capable and I hate it but it is fascinating #he’d just be complaining other wise and then violently stab something and be like I kinda miss the old days #and then say ring a ding ding or some shit #courier six #the courier #Benny fnv #fallout new vegas #benny gecko #fallout #fnv #courier fnv

reminder as easter approaches to not give rabbits or ducks as gifts

both are animals that require special care (no, not all animals are just different shapes of cats or dogs) and can live up to 10 years if well cared for

they're not toys, they're living creatures that require love, care, special diets, time, and modifications to your home to keep them safe

they are also not creatures that can just be released into the countryside and be expected to survive. They're domestic animals and will not survive. Please don't impulse buy any animal as a gift, but at least have the basic humanity to rehome them or surrender them to a shelter/rescue and not leave them on the side of the road or in a box in a dumpster

Kind of like Christmas time, there's an influx of impulse/gift adoptions around Easter time that are then immediately surrendered or abandoned within a month. Consider finding a local rescue in your area and donating money, supplies, or your time via volunteering to help! Many also run foster programs, or need help with driving the animals in their care to vet appointments and so on.

Little announcement!

Hey guys! I just have something to announce that might be relevant regarding what to expect from my content from now on...

Well, as part of my new year's resolution, I won't be focusing solely on Undertale as an artist anymore. :"3

Don't get me wrong! I'm absolutely NOT leaving the fandom!

I don't think I ever could.

(summarized version is that I'll be indulging my own fluctuating interests from now on in other fandoms and original works. More under the cut!)

It's just that I'm trying to be more free spirited, so as to no longer feel as if I have an obligation (not like I ever did but brain brains wrong lol), my art and posts from now on should be less frequent and regarding whatever new hyper fixations I am harboring at the time!

I want to expand my artistic horizons and portfolio a bit. So things should become more random around here as to whatever has grabbed my interest.

Overall this is me indulging myself more for 2024.

Allowing my other interests to shine through a little bit, as opposed to popular demand, albeit imaginary.

Does this mean no more Undertale on the blog?

Of course not!

Again, I'm not leaving this fandom. It is an important part of who I am at this point, and helped me a lot with many of my skills! I will continue to occasionally post Undertale/Deltarune content!

Except just when I really feel like it. :"3

Again. This game has a permanent spot on my heart.

I simply dislike leaving things unexplained that's all. A sudden change of content out of nowhere seems unfair to do without some kind of warning to me.

Oh. Okay then! But, if you're not leaving, then why'd you make this post?

Don't be shy to still tag me about Undertale stuff, or ask about my Undertale characters still if you'd like! But I do ask that art requests are avoided.

(commission, which I plan to open this year, will still very much include Undertale as one of my specialities though. Again, more than three years of experience here!)

This warning is, therefore, valid from here on. Whatever I decide to go with, this isn't a [thing]-specific blog. It may change according to my interests!

You wanna talk about House and Benny? Let’s talk about House and Benny. Let’s talk about how House says he saw Benny as a son figure ans a rightful successor to the strip. Let’s talk about how Benny was so charmed by House’s offer that he literally killed a man to get the position to agree to it. Let’s talk about how House was intentionally priming Benny and regrets not doing better, not for the wasted time but of Benny’s wasted potential, how it was misplaced. Let’s talk about how Benny didn’t question House’s leadership until the guy started going radio silent. Let’s talk about House and Benny:

#cause realistically Benny had to be of an age house could project a parental view on when they first met and combined with how impulsive and #short sighted Benny is with his planning and way of operating makes me think he’s not as old as people headcanon cause he was the leader #the chairmen for 7 years so you have to subtract that from his current age meaning he was even younger and more impressionable to house cuz #how else would house see him as a good candidate if his backstabbing was already a thing seeing as house was aware of his plan from the #start so since house projects and acts like a man ranged late 40s to 50s I’d say Benny is max 25-27 by game start so they met when he was #still a teen cause a theme in the game surrounding older npcs ins a resistance to change and of course someone still young and okay with #change would take an offer such as Houses eagerly along with the fact Benny seems like okay with sudden change actually considering him #giving you the reigns when he thinks his goose is cooked #but this is all to say there was def an unhealthy projection on house part on the role he wanted Benny to play that was likely controlling #and the sudden silence as he tried to acquire the chip would only make Benny more inclined to rebel especially since he is still young and #impressionable if we take he’s only in his mid 20s #and before someone says he doesn’t look it he acts like that and some characters are supposed to be 26 and 37 and I bet you guessed wrong on #who the first time #fallout #fallout new vegas #mr house fnv #robert edwin house #benny fnv #benny gecko

YEA LETS GO EX-FRAMING DEPARTMENT they never even got around to teaching me production it was all wrapping and taking orders :/ Idk how it is at other shops but we only had 3 people working the whole frame shop. One person did ALL the frame assembly and us other two handled everything else. Was absolutely not worth $11/hr. man fuck retail. FUCK Design Hub too, if I may

#id come in for my like 4 hour shift and would have to run + close shop which included wrapping #wrapping storing calling for all orders done plus get all yhe frames lined plus unpack and clean up all the new frames coming in all by #all by the end of the night PLUS frame shop had to clean the bathrooms every night #plus actually running the front desk and taking orders and sometimes ppl would take hours picking matts that would cut into the time i had #to have everything else finished PLUS if i for some reason had everything done on time theyd make me run sales floor too #it was insane all the stuff they had me learn for such shit pay like. and #never work michales but never do it around the holidays more important #you will never escape the glitter #all that and my framing manager never got around to teaching me how to assemble a frame.#at least it was nice to hide in the frame shop so i wasnt talking to customers 24/7 but still #customers treat you so horribly like i was sweeping once and this lady comes up to me like saying the bathroom was disgusting right #and i get it. it was always disgusting. but we did clean it every night. anyway its hard when you cant just tell people that 1.#1 we clean them every night so if theres a huge mess in it most likely it was another shopper who pissed on the floor just cuz.#and 2 they only give us a mop and some pine sol to clean the whole 2 bathrooms every night. dont blame me blame michals lol #everything else was just so stupid #i wanna know how many framing department ppl everyone else had because we had 2 part time and 1 full time and i was only there a few months
