hi chronivac guys I wonder if it's possible to become the guy in your disclaimer with the cap and the evil grin or is he just a model for your service? I'm a broker and I really need a timeout like spring break for not being serious
Brother, you should know better than anyone that everything on this planet is a question of price. I will gladly organize a premium spring break for you as my stupid, constantly horny twin brother. I'll send the vouchers for the trip by email and the preset for the Chronivac directly to your app. The setting is such that you should activate it as soon as you're on your way to the airport.
The Uber is right on time in front of the apartment building on the Upper Eastside. As you load your Hermès laptop bag and Rimowa suitcase, the doorman asks you why you're not getting into your limousine but into this pathetic car. You don't react at all, sign out for the next week and get into the back of the car. It smells of sweat, cheap deodorant and tobacco. The driver is perhaps in his early 20s and tells you his whole life story without being asked. He studies business administration and earns a little extra money as an Uber driver. The rents in Manhattan are simply murderous. Instead of looking annoyed out of the window, you ask if you can have a cigarette. Only if you give him one too. Sure thing, bro. That's how it is among Uber drivers. You would do the same, otherwise you wouldn't be able to afford your apartment. The driver asks how many hours you drive to afford an apartment in the building. You laugh and say that your parents live there. When you arrive in Newark, you talk like college buddies. You say goodbye with a fist bump and ask if you're from New Jersey too. In the broadest accent imaginable, you reply that he can take his chances.
You take your army duffel bag and sports bag out of the trunk and look for your check-in desk. You look at your boarding pass. Damn, you're flying with Spirit Airlines? With a change in Atlanta? Who booked this shit? There are already dozens of people in the baggage drop-off queue who obviously want to go to Tampa too. Boomboxes are competing for the most annoying music, even if the sun isn't shining, everyone seems to be sticking to the sun's out, guns out rule. And caps are only worn backwards, of course. You turn your cap backwards. And stuff your down vest into your duffel bag. Sun's out, guns out is written on your mesh fabric tank top.
You almost missed your flight in Atlanta. You're already pretty drunk and one of the guys had his travel bong with him. In a two-hour layover, a bit of weed isn't bad. Thank God you're equipped with enough weed. The sale should finance your vacation. After all, your airbnb room right on the beach wasn't cheap.
You can only use the hour and a half flight to Tampa to sleep off your high. But as soon as you leave the airport building, you take part in a beer can drinking contest. Burp! Hehehe, you had plenty of practice last semester, you deserved to win.
Tumblr media
By the time you get to your shared room, it's already 11:00 pm. The party is in full swing at the pool. You quickly take a picture of yourself and post it on Instgram. Caption: "Watch out stallions n mares, jersey stud is in town" Let the party begin!

CHICAGO ABOLITIONISTS SHUT DOWN BANK OF AMERICA BY GLUING ATMS IN RETALIATION FOR THE MURDER OF TORTUGUITA
20th January, Chicago USA.
via: Scenes
“CHICAGO, IL — Friday night, January 20th, Chicago abolitionists in solidarity with the movement to Stop Cop City and Defend the Atlanta Forest glued shut the card reader and keyhole at a Bank of America ATM and “Virtual Banking” facility in Chicago’s affluent Lincoln Park neighborhood (2428 N Lincoln Ave). They also left messages, including STOP COP CITY, DEFEND THE ATLANTA FOREST, and ACAB on the ATM windows and door. The incident was in response to the murder of a forest defender by police in Atlanta on January 18th, 2023.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bank of America is a top funder of police foundations across the US, in particular the Atlanta Police Foundation, which is funding the destruction of Weelaunee Forest in “Atlanta” to build “Cop City.” The intended facility would be a militarized police training compound, including a mock city for cops to practice urban warfare on Atlanta’s residents, particularly the Black and Brown and poor communities adjacent to the forest. In 2020, BOA gave at least $50,000 to the foundation; tax data from 2021-22 is not yet available.
Bank of America also bankrolls the Chicago Police Foundation, with BoA Senior Vice President Patricia Provenzano sitting on its board.
On January 18th, police in Atlanta murdered a forest defender, Manuel “Tortuguita” Teran, as they attempted to force people out of the forest to allow the destruction to proceed. This violence is further proof that police only serve and protect the interests of the wealthy and powerful – bankers and capitalists who will happily have people murdered and ecosystems destroyed to continue hoarding wealth.
From @defendtheatlantaforest @stopcopcity on Instagram, friends said: “Tortuguita was a kind, passionate, loving person cherished by their community. They spent their time between Atlanta, defending the forests from destruction and coordinating mutual aid, and Florida where they helped build housing in low income communities hit hardest by the hurricane. They were a medic, a loving partner, a dear friend, a brave soul, and so much more.”
Chicago activists echo the calls of Atlanta forest defenders to immediately stop the attacks on the forest and abandon plans to build Cop City.”

Blaze has it out for Finn not just because he feels stronger and braver by targeting Finn, but also because he's extremely jealous.
Finn's dad sounds awful on paper, at least to Blaze and others:
•Butcher
•Hunter
•Fom the Abyss
•Very shady
•Never went to any school of any kind
•Extremely powerful
•Was married to another extremely powerful mer
•Is greatly feared and disliked by a lot of the community
•Lacks in expressiveness and emotion
•Was apparently very murderous and violent when he was younger
•Has business with the Leeches, has probably killed people
•Literally wears bones as a necklace
Surely, someone like that would be a terrible parent?
Nope. Silas is a great dad. He shows up to school events and parent-teacher meetings, tries to make as many of Finn's music recitals as possible, he showers Finn with endless compliments (to the point were Finn is able to be very happy being plus sized, to Blaze's shock), is insistent that Finn makes friends, is very supportive of his desires, attentive his needs, etc.
Meanwhile, Blaze's own mom was born in Atlanta, went to school, was popular, graduated top of her class, became a popular actress, is well liked by the locals, is not in fact murderous, is very expressive and emotional etc.
Someone like that would be considered a good parent a child can rely on. And yet... she's an alcoholic, she's violent and aggressive and hurts him frequently, she's fake at work and on camera, never shows up to anything school related Blaze has going on, she doesn't care about anything Blaze does or has to say unless it disrespects her or makes her look bad, wants Blaze to follow in her own... tail? Steps? and dismisses other career interests he may have.
How does someone like Silas, who, for all intents and purposes, might as well be described as a monster manage to be a better, more desirable parent than his own mother, a respectable, beautiful woman with very human features and a great job? How?
And on top of that, Finn, this fat ugly creepy shark, is now close with the octotrio in some way Blaze can't pinpoint, and has made a number of friends in NRC while Blaze has... no one.
It's just not fair.

It was a “mighty tall ladder” to climb, but life at the top is truly as good as Louis always imagined. Under his ownership the Azalea has become the “brightest club in the district.” It’s successful enough to continue providing his loyal, beloved employees generous salaries. And on top of star performer Jelly Roll Morton, they just hired a new singer who heard about the place “all the way in Atlanta. They talking about this place in Atlanta!” “1917 sounds like it was a pretty good year,” Daniel agrees. Tensions even appear to have cooled with Lestat; in contrast to the frightening scene that closed the previous session, this one opens on a midnight date in Jackson Square, before Louis takes his nightly victory lap at the Azalea. It’s reminiscent of their early courtship, playing docent to the new, mysterious gentleman in town—save for one key difference. Two sessions ago Jackson Square meant comfort, an opportunity for Louis to shed his armor and share himself with someone other than Paul; now he and Lestat sit in silence. It appears the tenor’s death is still weighing on Louis, even after half a year. Humiliation. Complicity. A lifetime of joy destroyed in half an hour. The fear that stopped him from objecting in the parlor no longer factors. “The poets, composers. . . . Shouldn’t we spare them the randomness of our killing?” It’s Lestat’s turn for disinterest. No one knows better than he, after all, that if you “thrust [any human] into circumstance, whisper to them their Lord, God and Savior is not listening . . . you will see all kinds of depravity.” Nonetheless, a rare and well placed “mon cher” gets him off the bench and testing Louis’s theory. He has some questions of his own, as they stroll through Storyville. How do we decide who’s bad enough? How long do we wait to confirm they are? “Say we come upon a murderer planting a flowerbed, thinking only of flowers.” A thief finally meets Louis’s requirements; Lestat prepares the victim before they can dawdle any longer. Louis, faced with exactly what he claimed he wanted, grabs the nearest cat instead.
Pivoting: last-ditch effort or sound business strategy?

Stephen A. Crockett Jr. at HuffPost:
I’ve always been stunned at former President Donald Trump’s physical prowess.
I mean, who can forget when his White House director of communications, Anthony Scaramucci, gushed about witnessing Trump throw a perfect spiral through a tire? Or his claim that he’s seen the confirmed thousand-aire at Madison Square Garden in a top coat at the foul line swishing free throws? And despite all of us knowing that the former president’s diet relies heavily on fast food, that didn’t stop his White House physician, now Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), from praising his genetics. “Some people just have great genes,” Jackson told reporters in 2018. “I told the president if he had a healthier diet over the last 20 years, he might live to be 200.” So it has been quite the show watching the gymnast-like contortions of the former president to avoid getting to know, or actually court, Black people to support his campaign. Earlier this month, in his latest episode of “See? Black people like me!” the president stood during an obvious photo-op at an Atlanta Chick-fil-A while smiling Black workers appeared to pose while taking his order. Trump reportedly ordered 30 milkshakes and some chicken, dealing out fast food for free publicity before heading to a high-dollar fundraiser in a largely white neighborhood.
A Black woman in the restaurant said, in her best untrained actor voice, “I don’t care what the media tells you, Mr. Trump, we support you!” I later found out the Black woman was in fact Michaelah Montgomery, a conservative activist who had arranged the entire scene. To her credit, the bigger story was supposed to be a conversation between students from nearby HBCUs and the presidential candidate about conservatism and possible inroads with the Black community. The moment became a meme. As with most Trump moments. Because what Trump and those around him don’t understand or care to involve themselves with is that Black people, more specifically Black women (also known as the spine of the Democratic voting bloc), are three dimensional, alive, actual human beings.
In Trumpland, Black people are caricatures of all of the worst stereotypes that have ever been imagined. They are rapists, thieves and murderers who want to terrorize… wait, no, that’s immigrants. But the point remains: The idea of even possibly courting Black voters never moves past stereotypical ideology. Which is comical when you consider that in 2024, the year of our lord Dawn Staley, an actual presidential strategy for winning the Black vote was… wait for it… sneakers. In February, Trump unveiled his $399 “Never Surrender High-Tops” at SneakerCon in Philadelphia. Trump didn’t just premiere the gaudy gold high-top decorated with an American flag motif, the sort of faux patriotism that’s truly become Trump’s signature brand, he actually went to the event to help hawk the ridiculousness that was an attempt to capture not just youth culture but ... well, I’ll just let Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo say the quiet part out loud. “This is ... connecting with Black America. Because they’re into sneakers. They love sneakers. This is a big deal. Certainly in the inner city.”
Arroyo got bashed for his take, as he should, but his take was a glimpse into how many Republicans, especially Trump, see Black people as sneaker-loving, inner-city dwelling and easily swayed by shiny, expensive things. It’s Republican typecasting in which a Black person remains the villain/magical negro who serves only to further the white protagonist’s storyline. And make no mistake about it, in the story of Trump, as told by the narcissistic narrator, the former president is always the hero.
Which brings us to Blacks 4 Trump (aka Black Voices for Trump), you know, that hodgepodge group of Blacks (mostly men) who have proclaimed their allegiance to Trump and who stump for him despite his lackluster attempts at any tangible metrics with the Black community. Don’t act like you don’t remember Michael Symonette, Maurice Woodside and Mikael Israel (these are not three people; it’s one man who has gone by three names), more commonly know as “Michael the Black Man” (his name for himself, not mine) who magically appeared behind Trump at a 2017 rally in Arizona. Always strategically placed in the camera’s view wearing a shirt that says “Trump & Republicans Are Not Racist” or “Blacks 4 Trump.” The funny thing is that the group Blacks 4 Trump didn’t ever seem to really do anything other than allow their Blackness to be co-opted for the then-president’s political gain. The group didn’t have an agenda or a political manifesto (at least it never presented one) that noted how Trump could actually earn the Black vote. They just showed up and allowed their images to be used to sell a product.
Because, never forget, Trump is always in the Trump business. Which leads to arguably the most disturbing attempt by Trump’s campaign to court Black voters, which Trump’s camp openly admits they need to win over in the upcoming election: Insisting that because Black people have been the victims of an unjust criminal system, they relate to Trump more because he, too, is a victim of the Man.
[...] Trump acknowledges that there is discrimination and, more important, that Black people have been discriminated against. This means nothing to him, of course, as that only serves to get him to his second point, which is that he can relate, which therefore makes him more relatable to the discriminated class. He doesn’t want to fix the problem, he only wants to leech off of the sympathies related to it. It is in this brushstroke that Trump ― who has been charged by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, a Black woman; Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Black man; and New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Black woman ― that he, too, is a victim of systemic racism.
“When I did the mug shot in Atlanta, that mug shot is number one,” Trump said. He added that the Black population “embraced it more than anyone else.” He also said: “I’m being indicted for you, the Black population.” First, the obvious. I’ll just let President Joe Biden’s campaign spokesperson Jasmine Harris explain it. “The audacity of Donald Trump to speak to a room full of Black voters during Black History Month as if he isn’t the proud poster boy for modern racism. This is the same man who falsely accused the Central Park 5, questioned George Floyd’s humanity, compared his own impeachment trial to being lynched and ensured the unemployment gap for Black workers spiked during his presidency,” Harris told The Washington Post.
“Donald Trump has been showing Black Americans his true colors for years: an incompetent, anti-Black tyrant who holds us to such low regard that he publicly dined with white nationalists a week after declaring his 2024 candidacy.”
Stephen Crockett Jr. wrote in HuffPost that Donald Trump's attempt to court Black voters is based on stereotypical traits of Blacks from a conservative POV, including by claiming to relate to being victims of an unjust criminal system that Black folk face.

My Best TV of 2022: A (Unexpectedly) Long List
This is not a problem I expected to have, early in 2022.
Back then, the quality of TV shows was so disappointing, I considered writing one of those cranky, old-school critic’s columns complaining about how the glut of shows in our modern, streaming-fueled media environment was ruining everything.
I should have just waited around a bit. Because, even though I was mightily disappointed by some of the biggest TV projects on the docket – everything from CNN+ to Lords of the Rings: Rings of Power (the repetition in the title should have been warning enough) – lots more TV shows surprised and delighted me this year. Too many to fit on a top ten or top 12 list.
In fact, there were too many to fit on this excellent roundup prepared by me and five other critics at NPR.org (we each got about eight choices). And I will fess up now – I didn’t vibe with FX’s Reservations Dogs in its first season, so I didn’t keep up with the second and it’s not on my list. Many apologies to devoted fans of a show I’m very glad exists and so many love. But I’m not among you devotees (at least not yet).
Here's my list of fave shows from 2022, in no particular order. It’s by design very subjective, so I welcome debate, but it’s about what touched ME on TV this year:
Andor (Disney+) – Started slow, but turned into a masterful reinvention of the Star Wars universe, focused on the gritty, merciless beginnings of the Rebel Alliance. Who knew a Star Wars show with no lightsabers, no Jedi Knights and no Force could be just what the franchise needed? REVIEW
Atlanta (FX/Hulu) – The last two seasons, both released this year, weren’t nearly as impactful as its first two. But this show remains an excellent showcase for creativity and ambitious storytelling in portraying the lives of a quartet of Black millennials.
Here’s a Q&A I moderated w/Atlanta cast and producers at SXSW
youtube
Better Call Saul (AMC) – This Breaking Bad spinoff stuck the landing in series finale that capped both the origin AND ending stories of criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. REVIEW
Abbott Elementary (ABC) – Sidesplitting mockumentary-style comedy about teaching in a Philadelphia school that is so good, because it’s absurd humor is so close to the actual truth. PROFILE of star Quinta Brunson.
The Patient (Hulu) – Steve Carrell delivers his most impressive dramatic role as a therapist interrogating his own messy personal history while kidnapped and forced to help a serial killer. REVIEW.
The U.S. and the Holocaust (PBS) -- Star documentarian Ken Burns reveals how antisemitism in America busted the myth that the U.S. was always on the side of the angels as Adolf Hitler took power in Germany and began implementing his Final Solution.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Paramount+) – Focused on the Starship Enterprise 10 years before James T. Kirk would take command, it’s a welcome return to a rollicking, adventure-a-week series that recalls the spirit of the original Trek series better than any other modern reboot/revival. REVIEW

My Gift To You ~ College AU Part 3
Aru hated to admit it, but they were lost. She and Aiden stood in front of a dilapidated building, peering into the open doorway and eye-balling the spiders that were scuttling across the walls and floor.
Backtracking to how they got there, their friend group, who called themselves the Potatoes for no apparent reason other than 'Brynne said so', went to the annual carnival that was hosted every year in Atlanta.
It had everything from flash mobs to rides to junk food. Naturally, Aru dragged them all there, fighting tooth and nail to haul their stupid butts to the damn place. Aiden was the only one who easily agreed to come.
While walking parallel to thousands of stalls and treading the dirt-packed road, the couple had gotten distracted. Aiden started taking photos of everything and Aru stared in awe at the ginormous fuzzy panda that was hanging on a nail in one of the prize booths. When she snapped out of it, she realized everyone was gone.
She had quickly tugged on Aiden's elbow and told them their predicament.
"I'm afraid we have just been abandoned by our so-called 'friends'."
They both decided to wander around, trying to find the others in spots the Potatoes would most likely be at. But perhaps they had gotten carried away again, because moments later they halted at the door of the haunted house that was at the edge of where the festival was held.
Also, she and Aiden were holding hands again when she was fairly certain they weren't before.
And that is how they got up to this point. Aru looked thoughtfully at the house, then at Aiden. He saw it and tried to back away but couldn't because of the fact that they were still holding hands, and apparently, he didn't want to let go.
".... I'm afraid to ask, but what?" She grinned.
"I have an idea."
"Oh no." He groaned.
"You haven't even heard it!" Aru protested.
"Please, since when are your ideas good-?." She clamped her hand over his mouth, muffling the rest of his sentence.
"Just hear me out. What if we go through the haunted house and whoever screams first loses and has to give the winner a gift? It can be anything, as long as it's nice and the other will like it."
"But-"
"Chicken?"
"Never." Aiden huffed. "Alright let's do this. Prepare to lose, idiot."
Aru smirked. "You wish, nerd." They signed their names on the clipboard hanging near the entrance and entered the dark hall.
To say the least, it was really hard. Eerie music floated through the corridors, and there were six of them. At random intervals, realistic monsters would pop out.
The actors who were playing them stood awkwardly, however, when neither victim looked terrified, before walking away. Then they both would continue as if nothing happened, but that was a lie. Aiden was shaking slightly and Aru was gritting her teeth.
In the third part, things really started to get scary. They got chased by murderers, Bloody Mary, the government, you name it. The duo were just leaving the fifth hall when one of them finally screamed.
They had just escaped Pennywise and Aru was full-on shaking by then. She despised clowns with every inch of her body. Both of them were running at top speed, glancing back every two seconds to make sure they weren't being followed. Aiden was not looking too good, but was much better off than her.
Why couldn't he have the clown phobia? Aru thought grouchily, glaring at his stupid, beautiful face.
Pennywise was still a bit in the distance so both of them didn't expect it when a corpse hanging from a noose dropped down from the ceiling. Aru stuffed her fist into her mouth and bit down hard. But Aiden wasn't fast enough.
He screamed and jerked away, instantly falling down. Distantly Aru thought how unfair it was that his voice still sounded pretty even while shrieking at the top of his lungs.
Once the dead body was pulled back through the ceiling tile, Aru helped Aiden up. He sighed.
"I suppose you win."
"Yeah," She smirked at having another victory over him. "Let's finally get out of here."
Once again, they were standing in a daze outside of the haunted house, but this time they were facing the other way.
"Um, could you close your eyes?" Aiden looked a bit nervous, fidgeting with Shadowfax's strap. Aru gazed around and spotted a weeping willow with fairy lights dangling from each branch, deciding that was the perfect place to finally rest her legs.
She walked over and sat down, with her back pressed against the tree's trunk, before reciting something Hira had taught her.
"I think this tree is very appropriate, you know?" Aru grinned. "It means mourning and loss. And you are right now grieving over having lost to me!" Aiden's mouth twisted into what he tried to play off as a grimace, but was definitely a pout.
He quickly covered Aru's eyes with his palms, probably to hide his sulking. "No peaking, and I am not!." She laughed, but shrugged her shoulders in agreement, closing her eyes.
She heard the sound of his footsteps fade and waited in the leftover silence. She hadn't realized how lonely it was when he wasn't by her side, hand ready to hold hers.
To use up the time placed in her hands, Aru amused herself by blowing away the leaves that landed on her face and shaking out the ones that fell on her hair.
She also didn't notice how tired she was until her butt hit the ground and was tiring quickly. She had just started to doze off when she heard someone whisper her name.
"Shah?" Before Aru could jump up, firm hands held her steady on the ground. "It's me, don't open them yet." She crossed her arms but uncrossed them as Aiden entwined their hands together.
"What took you so long?" He went silent for a moment.
"Would you believe that I am terrible at aiming?"
"What-?" A warm hand cupped her cheek, dislodging a few leaves in her hair, his other softly squeezing their already clasped hands. Lips pressed against her own gently. The scent of clean laundry and cooking spices wrapped around her.
Aiden Acharya was kissing her.
It was only for a second, but it seemed much longer. Her eyes flew open as he pulled away.
"Was that-" He breathed out. "Was that okay?" Aru probably looked just as stunned as him but couldn't stop a smile nonetheless.
"Yeah. Yeah, it was great." They both hesitated, before connecting and pressing against each other again, Aiden going back to his original position.
Aru panicked, unsure what to do with her free hand this time, but instinct took over and she slipped it into his hair, tangling in his soft curls. They didn't break apart as fast this time.
After pulling away, they just sat under the willow tree together, not really saying anything. Their hands were still woven together and resting on Aiden's leg. Aru wasn't sure about him, but that was her first kiss.
Lame, she knew, but it was just that she had never really liked anyone romantically before and even questioned herself if she was aro-spec. That all changed when she met Aiden and suddenly she was a high schooler in love. And they had only started dating a couple of weeks ago.
After a few minutes of trying hard not to randomly smile out of nowhere, Aru nudged Aiden and broke the silence.
"What were you saying before? About the aim thing."
"Oh," He looked flustered. "I didn't want to take any chances with the kiss, so just in case you hated it or felt uncomfortable, I was going to use the prize I won at the Ring Toss booth to apologize or bribe you into forgetting it ever happened."
"Where is it now?"
Aiden went behind the tree and came out with a giant stuffed animal. The panda she had been eyeing before they got lost. Aru's eyes lit up and Aiden sighed.
"I'm guessing I won't be able to keep this then?"
"Nope!" She said cheerfully, before adding, "But we can share."
"I'll take what I can get."
"Next time, I'll win you a prize Wifey." Aiden scoffed.
"No way!"
"Who's gonna stop me?"
"Then I'll win you more prizes than you can win for me."
"Are you challenging me?"
"I don't know am I?"
"Are you?"
"Yes, and I believe I will absolutely leave you in the dust."
"You wish."
"Prepare to be overwhelmed with tons of stuffed animals, Shah."
"I'll overwhelm you first." Both of them jogged off, Aru gatekeeping the panda the entire time, and played as many games as they could before being found and dragged away by the rest of the Potatoes.
Bonus: Aiden finally won and shoved all his stuffed animals at Aru with a well-deserved smirk on his face. Aru did the same but was still kinda grumpy about losing.
-----
I'm sleep-deprived, but here is this! Tell me what you guys thought of the kiss and I always accept constructive criticism :) My next oneshot will be on Mindy but I have no idea what to do so I'm begging you guys to please give me suggestions for them.
Hope you enjoyed! Going to sleep now.

Chapter Five
Another week, another episode to film. Today, Monday, is the start of Criminal Minds season 16 episode 9.
This week, you won't be filming a lot. Your first scene is of Delilah and Spencer then you have a another one at her work place.
You're up bright and early for the first scene of the day. The sun has just rose, so the orange and pink glow of the sky still shines above the city of Los Angeles. Fall is approaching and it's beginning to be colder in the mornings and evenings.
You throw on a lightweight cream sweater, some black ripped jeans, and you pull on white slip on sneakers. After tying your hair into a low pony, you rush out the door.
The ride to set isn't too horrible, obviously traffic is bad but that's normal. But it happens to be slightly earlier than when most people leave for work. It's just now 7am. Many cars are on the streets, and you know more will pile up by 8am.
You arrive on set around 7:45, and grab a cup of coffee before heading to hair and makeup. The fun lady with pink hair brushes out your brown locks while straightening the waves down. She makes conversation like she does everyday. It's nice how she loves to talk, because you like to listen. She does you females' hair along with Jamar, and Hannah does the boys hair and sometimes Izzy does too.
Kylie finishes up with your hair by adding gel to smooth down the pieces tucked behind your hair. It's a sleek look that really fits with your short hair.
Next step of the morphing into Delilah is makeup. Ronnie starts on your eyes with a natural brown, nude, and cream blend. He does your foundation, blush, highlighter, and bronzer before topping it off with eyeliner and mascara. He gives you a few spritzes of setting spray, and you're good to go.
You say goodbye to Kylie and Ronnie with a smile and head to wardrobe. Matthew heads to hair and makeup just after you leave. The wardrobe crew has picked out a work style suit for you to wear today. The pants are black, matching the blazer and black heels, and to add a pop of color, the blouse underneath is light blue. It really brings out your baby blue eyes.
After changing in your trailer, you finishes the rest of your coffee and head to the main part of the studio. The director talks to you for a moment before Matthew shows up. He has you mark the scenes and rehearse just a bit before starting to film.
Matthew is dressed in slim fitting dark dress pants, a light grey button up, a red tie, and a dark sweater unbuttoned over it.
They smooth down your hair again and apply some nude lipstick to your lips before the camera starts rolling.
The camera begins rolling at the cue of the director and we snap into character.
Delilah walks into the business. With her dad being gone, she now has to run this building as well before she can find a replacement. She left her building in Atlanta under the watch of the manager, which is just one aspect that contributes to her stress.
Her dad's former employees, now hers, watch as she strides to her new office. Seeing pictures of her dead father's accomplishments and pictures of her younger self stings at her chest. She sits down and begins working immediately. Delilah has so much to do.
She types away at the computer, answering emails and discussing a deal with a big business man from Washington DC. The deal should bring both businesses more money, but she isn't too sure. Her father only had one meeting with this man before his murder. Delilah plans another meeting with Mr Daker before she can decide to close the deal.
Her head begins to hurt as a flashback sneaks up on her mind. Delilah remembers the day she was kidnapped.
A man who her father had fired and got put in jail had finally gotten his revenge, using Delilah as bait. She wasn't only bait though, she was used as entertainment. He hit her and degraded her while waiting on her father to finally save the day.
Delilah remembers her father charging the kidnapper, trying so hard to take him down. The gunshot still rings in her ears. She'd watched as her father fell, holding his bleeding stomach. Tears stung in her eyes as blood spilled on the concrete floor. The FBI barged in at the sound of gunshots, and arrested the 'unsub'' but it was too late for Logan Reign. He'd lost too much blood. She was numb as a man named Spencer Reid and another agent, JJ, untied her and removed the duct tape from her lips. Dr Reid gave Delilah his FBI jacket, trying to comfort the cold, bloody girl.
The voice of Delilah's receptionist was barley even enough to snap her out of her flashback. But she looked up to see her small body standing in the doorway.
"Miss Reign, there's a man here to see you."
"A man?"
"Skinny, nerdy, awkward..." she begins to describe the man standing on the other side of the reception counter.
"Send him in."
"Hey Delilah," Dr Reid says, walking into her office.
"Hey Spencer, what are you doing here?"
He stays standing awkwardly in front of Delilah's desk. "You seemed pretty stressed out. I wanted to make sure you were doing alright. Which is seems like that's a no."
"I'm okay, Spencer. I just have a lot to do, and now I have to trust someone else to be in charge in Atlanta. I'm getting phone calls from him everyday all while getting my father's things in order. It's just... a lot."
"I'm sorry, Delilah." His eyebrows come together for a moment in a look of sympathy.
"It's fine. I guess you just have to do things yourself if you want it done right," she lets out a soft chuckle.
Spencer returns the small laugh, and looks at you a little worried. "Do you sleep?"
"I could ask you the same question, Doctor." Delilah says sort of sarcastically, indicating the dark circles under his hazel eyes.
"Touché."
The two of them talk for a while until Spencer’s phone begins ringing from his pocket. “Hotch?”
Delilah can tell it's urgent before he even hangs up the phone.
"Sorry, I gotta go there's been a murd-"
"It's okay, Spencer. Duty calls. Go save some lives."
"Go do your business stuff," he says to her kind of awkwardly. He regrets it, but Delilah stifles a short laugh.
She watches him leave then gets back to her busy work life. It was nice to have a moment to breathe and talk to someone she liked. Someone she liked that wasn't wanting to make a deal or get a raise or get another week off.
The director yells cut, and gives a few notes. He says he's going to look at the footage really quickly and see if you need to refilm it. He checks what you just filmed and says it's actually really good. He has you film one part again, then you're free to go.
You are no longer needed on set for the rest of the day since they're just filming some case things. You decide to head to Dunkin again to speak with Jess.
"Heyyyy!"
"Hey Jess!"
"What's up?"
"Just got back from set," you say. You're already dressed in the clothes you were in this morning again. Your hair is still slicked back and you left the makeup on, deciding to just take it off at home. "Ya know surprisingly, Matthew wasn't a complete assclown today."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. He said a few stupid things before filming, but really he didn't talk much out of character. It was a nice refresher."
Jess laughs. "Well maybe he's changing."
"Haha funny you think that. What've you been up to today?"
"Just the usual. I got to work at 9..."
"Don't you always start at 8?"
"I was... preoccupied this morning."
"Oh?" You question, pushing gently for details.
"Okay so I met a girl last night, and well we hit it off. I ended up taking her home."
"Oh my gosh! What's her name?"
"Jacklyn, she's mixed and super hot. She's tall like you, and I swear she's the sweetest thing. Very kinky though."
Your eyes widen, "Oh. Lovely. I totally needed to know that." You laugh, a bit shocked.
She shrugs with a smile.
"So what does this Jacklyn do?"
"She's a bartender but she's going back to school for cosmetology."
"Ooh cool. Well, tell me if you see her again, okay?"
"Sure thing," she winks and heads back behind the counter to assist a customer.
You finish your coffee and head back to your apartment. You have no other plans for the rest of the day, and it's only 12. You decide to strip out of your jeans and go pantless while snuggling on your couch. You tie your hair up into a low bun. You cuddle up with a soft blanket and decide to watch some Harry Potter. Goblet of Fire plays while you scroll through your phone. Eventually you get too interested in the movie, even though you've seen it a thousand times, and put down your phone.
You fall asleep on the couch with your makeup still on, which bugs the crap out of you. After a short nap, you wash your face and make some dinner. Veggie burgers are on the menu for tonight. After eating, you do some yoga and take a hot bath.
Tonight, you're hoping you can sleep better than normal since you had a relaxing thirty minute bath. You crawl into bed after getting into a matching set of purple silk jammies. This week is going to be fairly boring since you're not filming as much.

S1 Ep2
Why?
Warning: abuse, language and lots of valance as well as gore if you are younger then 14 please don't read
*******************************
"Stay close" my dad said then looked out the window and slowly opened the door. "We've gotta make a run for it" he said and I held on to my knife not even sure if I could do anything with it
"Ready 3...2...now" he said and slowly we made our way to the car when me got the attention of 2 walkers making them all come after us. "RUN!" my dad said shooting a few but nothing happened they just got back up that was until he shot one in the head.
So that's how you kill the dead
We all made it into the car, "your hand..." my mom said and we all looked over to see a bite on the beck of my dad's hand. "Oh god" my sister said and she started to cry I tried my best to keep myself from breaking the dam in my eyes but failed
"It'll be okay, I'm sure there's something we can do" he said then opened a bag t-
"Drive DRIVE" my mom said as walkers gathered around us my father then stomped on the gas not caring about running them over. "Your a murderer" my mom said looking at my dad. "Didn't you hear what they said? THE DEAD WALK THE EARTH THERE ALREADY DEAD!" he yelled. "...you got infected...dad are you going to di-" I started but was stopped by my mather slapping me the slap was hard and full of anger. "No, we can find a way to help him" she said and I just nodded.
Rule number 1 stay quiet
-
"Shit" my dad said as the car slowed to a stop. "Where are we?" my sister asked. "A little ways from Atlanta, but we need to start walking ran out of gass, I'll carry the food you two carry your stuff and mom will carry first aid, and Rayne help me with this would you?" he said referring to his bite. "Okay" was all I said as my mom handed me some water a rag and bandages.
"There" I said and I finished wrapping up his hand. "Alrig- alright let's go" he said losing his balance a bit. "Maybe we should rest for a bit you look pale" my mom said and my father's face twitched. "I'll be fine now come on" he said grabbing the food. We then started walking.
-
"Can we please take a rest" my sister begged we had now been walking for hours and we were losing day light. "No we have to keep moving" my dad said. "My feet hurt!" she said this time in a way louder tone. "Shut the fuck up, do you not see the situation were in" father said but something wasn't right h...FUCK.
my father took another step and fell over the whites in his eyes were blood shot his skin getting paler and paler by the second I nealed down and put my hand to his four head he was buring up, and on top of that walkers were already on our track. "Mom help me" I said as I put my dad's riful over my shoulder and his arm around my neck for once in her life my mom listened and helpped him up we then stumbled onto a small cave. "Rayne, you go make sure it's safe" my mom said and Jade had already took my spot of holding dad Gun...Rayne...g-gun" my father said and I nodded taking the revolver out of his holster. "I don't even know how to shot i-" "just fucking do it Rayne stop being so pathetic" my mom scuffed and I just nodded I looked at the gun and seen my father's initials ingraved on the wooden handle. I walked over to the dark cave I picked up a rock and threw it,
It wasn't deep. I picked up my knife and my mom threw a flashlight at me I turned it on and shined it through the cave to walkers then started walking towards me and I just froze
I couldn't move…
I stood in fear till...
"Goodbye, -----" my father said letting the walkers get him.  "No!!" my mom yelled my father then fell the the floor the walkers eating him right in front of me, I felt something coming up as I covered my mouth and ran away from my mother and sister.
... He was the last person...the last person to ever say that name, my real name.
I turned to see my father stand up and walk towards me mom and sister.  "...its all my fault" I said as the walkers walked over to my mom and sister but before I could do anything my mom killed them, I then looked at my father one last time even though his guts were spilling out of him he was still moving, I grabbed my knife and walked over to him.  "KILL IT RAYNE FUCKING KILL IT!" my sister yelled acting like it wasnt our father.  "I'm so sorry" I said and lowered my knife to his head.
"I love you"
And with that, the knife had made contact with his head.  This was all my fault I sat there feeling tears down my face the a stinging pain, and another, then again, my mom was smacking me, for what I had done.
"You pathetic,  worthless, good for nothing idiot! Look what you did? he should have let you die!" my mom said but I didn't care all I could do was sit there looking over my dead father
His flannel, after a while my mom and sister went into the cave and when they did I took his flannel, it was too big for me so I wore it around my waste, I then walked into the cave to see my sister and mom eating, I was starving sure but how could I eat after what I had just done?
I killed my father
Name: unknown
Nickname: Rayne
Walker kills: 1

Hi, everyone!
As a huge Black Mirror fan, I was psyched about the new season but had tempered my expectations after season 5's awfulness.
And well...
Tumblr media
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
This was legit the best season since season 3! 🙌🏼
I absolutely adored Demon 79 (very Swarm with the awkward murders), and Loch Henry got SO intense with the crazy twist. I also LOVED the mask parallel with the BAFTA statue...so clever!
Tumblr media
I'm seeing that people weren't into Mazey Day, but I enjoy any paparazzi takedown, and the early oughts setting was fun (loved seeing Zazie again since Atlanta ended). Very "Britney's New Look" on South Park, and I didn't pick up on the double meaning of "shoot me" until reading the comments (oy!). Loved the use of Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" as well!
Tumblr media
Finally, I was SO impressed by Josh Hartnett's acting in Beyond the Sea. I remember when he was a big teen heartthrob (I had a roommate that was obsessed with him in college), but I hadn't seen him in anything since that abomination Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck. Let's just say...he has aged really well, and him growing a beard in space reminded me of Bo in Inside! Haha
Just noticed the Y in "Beyond" is the symbol from White Bear...nice (I've even made that icon on my Rubik's cube)!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aaron Paul was also FANTASTIC in that episode. Fun fact: Bo and Aaron had a weird and hilarious interaction on Twitter after Aaron saw what. for the first time. The parenthetical asides are so clever!
Tumblr media
My least favorite was definitely Joan Is Awful. Too over-the-top for me, but Salma Hayek was pretty funny in it, and boy did I love the Michael Cera cameo (George Michael!).
What did you think of the newest season of Black Mirror? What's your opinion of Charlie Brooker and his writing—do you think any episodes will be nominated for an Emmy? I could easily see BTS getting a nod, particularly Josh and Aaron.
I'm also now really excited about a "Red Mirror" spinoff if it maintains the campy '70s vibe...reminded me of Hammer horror films ✌🏼

My Best of 2022: TV
My Best of 2022 is a series of annual lists in which I pick the best of the best from 2022, all leading up to my official picks for My Top 10 Films of 2022.
These were My Top 20 TV Shows of 2022…
Drama/Comedy:
House of the Dragon: Season 1 (HBO) Peacemaker: Season 1 (HBO Max)
Better Call Saul: Final Season (AMC) Better Things: Final Season (FX)
The Boys: Season 3 (Prime Video) Rick and Morty: Season 6 (Adult Swim)
Andor: Season 1 (Disney+) What We Do in the Shadows: Season 4 (FX)
Yellowstone: Season 5A (Paramount) The Bear: Season 1 (FX on Hulu)
Werewolf by Night (Disney+) The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (Disney+)
Severance: Season 1 (Apple TV+) Atlanta: Seasons 3 & 4 (FX)
Stranger Things: Season 4 (Netflix) Ghosts: Seasons 1B & 2A (CBS)
Ozark: Season 4 (Netflix) Only Murders in the Building: Season 2 (Hulu)
Euphoria: Season 2 (HBO) Barry: Season 3 (HBO)
Note: These are not anywhere near in any sort of solid order. I admittedly shifted things around a bit so posters would match better, but everything here belongs here... somewhere. Also, I’ve gone back to distinguishing between Drama/Comedy, but not Limited Series. I’ve still had trouble keeping up on a lot and/or finding the interest/energy to even commit to many, and therefore completely missed out on a bunch, but I caught enough to hit 10 in each of these categories, so why not?
Enjoy!
-Timothy Patrick Boyer.
Next Up: Best Posters.
