Jocasta eventually gets married at the spinsterish age of 30 and has a reasonable amount of children. There's such a dearth of young Cardassian men after the war that nobody thought it was too unusual that she took that long, but still, societal expectations and whatnot. Garak is heartbroken when she moves out (last one to leave the nest.) He visits a lot especially after he retires.

Idk if Idan has kids! Probably eventually. He's a student though, he's got too much to do right now.

Something funny about the possibility of Lucky Guy being just that. A guy. Went to the manor with his closest friend for fun, only to end up in a hellhole all alone

The other survivors and hunters have all these complicated and rich backstories of why they came to the manor and Lucky just thinks to himself that he shouldn't have taken anything for granted back then. Worrying about his thesis and rushing to class looks so much easier now that he's in a game of life and death

He feels stupid for having gone to the manor. Test his luck? Yeah right. Lucky was too selfish. And now it cost him everything.

The first time the survivors and hunters finally step out of the manor, he doesn't believe it at first. The others celebrate, feeling like a huge burden has been lifted off of their shoulders.

Only Lucky stands to the side, staring at the phone in his hand. So many missed messages and calls.

(What was once cloth and cotton has turned into flesh and blood.)

Emma tries to call Lucky over to celebrate as well. Lucky looks up from the screen, and the gardener tries not to blanch at the dead look on his face. His eyes look tired.

"I need to get home."

And he still has that thesis to worry about.

So the recent lovely adorable Catula art got me thinking about the Dracula cast and animals. Namely, what pets they would have.

Jonathan+Mina - they both love cats, Jonathan often feeds strays, and after all that's happened they're finally able to get their own cat now that they have a stable home/money/etc. The cat and baby Quincey Harker are best friends.

Quincey Harker - The family cat of course, but later on Uncle Art gets him a dog (maybe a puppy from Lucy's pug, see below), and I think he would very much be the kind of kid who always tries to adopt random animals he finds while playing, especially if they're hurt or seem abandoned. More often than not he gets his wish since his parents are softies.

Arthur - dogs, obviously. He keeps them for hunting but also very much dotes on them and loves them. Also, I want Lucy to have had a pet pug (pre-unhealthy breeding standards) that Arthur adopts after her death, because I think that is a very adorable idea and also maybe a comfort to them both when they needed it. (The pug was just never mentioned but it was totally there all along. Lucy's mom was worried it would disturb her sleep and kept it our of her room when she was more seriously sick, which is very upsetting except it does mean it survived the final attack night.)

Quincey - He's great with horses and does love them but I don't think he thinks of them as pets exactly. At least, I really love the idea of him thinking snakes are very cute, or maybe spiders. Imagine Quincey with a pet garter snake or tarantula. If the latter, maybe he caught it as a kid and still has it (since they can live like 30 years).

Seward - He claims not to really be an animal person and not to want any pets, but there is an asylum cat that spends approximately 80% of every day napping in the sun in his office. Sometimes it steals his chair or his desk and he just goes along with it. Definitely isn't sneaking it treats or anything, no way, its job is to catch mice and he won't ruin its appetite (he says hiding meat in his pockets).

Van Helsing - I REALLY want the reason he thinks parrots are immortal to be because he inherited one from his parents. It's older than he is, and as a kid he just assumed it must be immortal and has never fact-checked this belief. The parrot speaks almost entirely in mixed metaphors using multiple languages, just like its person.

Sometimes I end up thinking about things like Suna with an aspiring cinematographer reader making a music video with the song, Mellow by Keina Suda (Skip to Loafer op song). It just sounds so fun and upbeat, something that captures your time being in Inarizaki. There's shots of the school and the classroom sprinkled through. Some clips were taken from your camera roll, specifically ones of you and your friends at school, others were taken from Suna's, ones of the volleyball club like Atsumu trying to show off, Osamu stealing food, Kita reprimanding the team like a parent, you cheering on the stands and so on.

Of course you shoot your own scenes too, ones that show you looking down from the rooftop, Suna alone in the hallway looking back at something, moments that showed how this whole project was, at it's core, a love letter to you and Suna's relationship while still being a video to celebrate everyone's time at Inarizaki. Your favorite part of the whole thing was the dance, something the animated opening had and something you wanted to include. So you learned the dance with Suna in tow, happily jumping around to emulate the energy in the original. But you still wanted to invlude everyone so the duo changes every move until finally settling on you and Suna together. The rehearsed fall was definitely Suna's favorite from that because he made you think he was gonna drop you, of course he caught you in the end.

It was the perfect cummulation of your memories at Inarizaki, something you wanted to show at graduation. Your dream finally realized when you got to show it to everyone as a final thank you, yes even to Suna. As the years went by it became a distant memory, yet something cemented within your conscience as one of the things that defined your school life. Though you didn't expect the song to ring in your ears when you laid eyes on him again,
