HEEEELLO!

So getting right into this, I am a 18+M looking for other people above the age of 18. If asked in dms I will give my exact age. I will lay out everything shortly so that we can get straight to the point and not waste either of our times!

• Looking for MxF (me as M) or MxM(though preferable MxF simply because I like more feminine characters. That or pack it up and give your M character a skirt. It's one or the other😏) I love FxF only for double ups to be honest.

• I'm certainly not doing oc x cc with me as the cc unless it's a double.

•something I'd like is the usage of the canon characters. I love worldbuilding, I love character building and if we use canon characters even if it's in the background, it *enhances* that. Even if you only use 3 canon characters while I use 11, I don't care. Don't get it twisted it's not NECCESARY but could be nice. Ignore this if it's a fandomless roleplay.

• Literacy! I'm extremely adaptive but at minimum I ask you do two paragraphs so I have something to work with. Alongside this have some good grammar. I'm not a grammar nazi for wanting to understand your sentences. If your first language is not english that's fine because it's not mine either! We can help eachother for all I care.

• I am extremely patient but do not dm me if you will be responding only two times a week. I get super invested in a roleplay and it is painful to want more but have to wait a millenia for your response. I am a busy person as well but c'mon. Though if you tell me in advance you'll be busy I'll probably be a lot more lenient.

• Mostly want something with romance. Not opposed to alll the other genres, romance is boring if it's just that. But that's mainly what I want. I want two hot people to fall in love.

• If you are not into talking ooc we won't mesh well. This isn't a business transaction and while we don't need to be full on friends I atleast want some communication between us.

• You get many many points if you gush about the show, ships or anything with me! Pinterest boards who? Spotify playlists?? Edits? Chefs kiss. You don't need to make em because I sure as shit will. Point is, have fun!

• Last thing. Real FCs are a heavy preference, all of my fandoms are TV shows and I can't imagine an animated character with fuckin' Jenna ortega. I don't mind helping you find a FC, but I will not roleplay with piccrew. I can maybe be convinced into using an animated fc especially if it's an animated show but otherwise oof.

What's it even like at Ramona's place. Also is her cat cute and fluffy?

Well, it's not the most spacious place, for starters. Julie has us all beat on that I think, with Neil and Stephen's place coming second. Then maybe my place? I'm not really sure... DEFINITELY not Scott's.

But it's alright. Ramona knows what to do with the space she has, I think. And she just tucks whatever doesn't need out into her little bag that she's got, so there's never really any clutter, unless Scott's provided it. She's got, like, multiple stories to it? Like, one and a basement, or something- in addition to the ground floor, I mean. We've discussed playing down in her basement, sometimes, for practice? She seemed pretty receptive.

It's nice being over there. I dunno. She hasn't done a whole lot with it, but it's nicer hanging out there than it is here, usually. Wish she was less busy so I could come over more... I mean, I could visit Scott when he's there I guess, but it's not really the same. Besides, I wouldn't want Ramona to come back from work and have to chase me off to get some rest or something?

*Kim sort of snickers a little.* Or she'd come back to me trying to hide Scott's body. She doesn't deserve to deal with that.

Anway, more realistically, she's probably exhausted after running around all day, being the only Amazon delivery person in our area and all. Even if she was fine with me lingering, I'm not sure I want front row seats for the two of them being lovey-dovey or whatever. Gross.

And Gideon... Gideon is probably one of the cutest cats I've ever seen. I didn't really like cats too much before now, but I think I've been converted or something. He's just the sweetest thing, sometimes, and Ramona's managed to get him nearly completely desensitized to being picked up, held, moved around- he just genuinely doesn't care, so long as you aren't hurting him.

He's a short haired cat, I think, but he's super soft- Ramona tells me it's because we're always petting him. Something about the oils in our hands making his fur softer? I think I get the general idea there. His fur is like... deceptively dense though? You can sink your fingers in a little and muss it up if you want.

Heh. I don't recommend trying to mess with his stomach at all, though. Gideon's generally pretty forgiving, and doesn't really bite or scratch people from what I've seen at least, but one time Scott tried to give him belly rubs while he was all splayed out on the couch... the attack afterward was pretty tame so far as the initial strike went, but he got Scott good, and there was like... blood, everywhere. You'd think he nicked an artery or something, but no, it was just Scott doing what Scott does.

Is there some sort of like... thin-skinned or heavy bleeder debuff he's got or something? Or was it just him being a moron and splattering it everywhere? Anyway, Ramona had it handled pretty quickly, and tiredly, so that's probably something really typical for them.

Where do you get your ideas for OCs

Hi! So there are about 3 ways I usually come up with an oc

1. I already have a basic idea of a character in my head and then I’ll search face claims then a name and start building from there. If it’s for a fandom then there may be quite a bit of research involved

2. I find a Faceclaim I really want to use it that I feel may fit a certain character type and I’ll start from there, usually beginning with one of two traits and finding a name

3. Someone approaches me for an rp and I’m like ‘oh shit I don’t have an oc’, which happens quite often. In this case I start with the Faceclaim usually. I’m very particular when selecting fcs especially for rp’s set in different eras

These are the three main ways but for example my oc Dani is based on the character in one of the first novels I ever worked on. Juliette Bishop is a development of an old oc I used to rp with and has grown as I’ve gotten better at oc creation, and oc’s like Owen and Kingston are those who were once just mere mentions in an oc’s backstory who I’ve taken the time to develop and give stories of their own.

Very occasionally, my initial idea is I just want an oc to pair with a specific character, Ramona is an example of this. For her, I started with her personality and backstory first.

Whenever I’m creating characters for my novels, I rarely ever assign an actual Faceclaim

My oc’s always begin as a jumble of random tidbits in my notes app, and I love to see how they grow the more I use them and learn about them

Hey!

So getting right into this, I am a 18+M looking for other people above the age of 18. If asked in dms I will give my exact age. I will lay out everything shortly so that we can get straight to the point and not waste either of our times!

• Looking for MxF or MxM(though preferable MxF simply because I like more feminine characters. That or pack it up and give your M character a skirt. It's one or the other😏)

• I'm certainly not doing oc x cc with me as the cc unless it's a double.

•However what is NON-negotiable is the usage of the canon characters. I love worldbuilding, I love character building and if we use canon characters even if it's in the background, it *enhances* that. Even if you only use 3 canon characters while I use 11, I don't care.

• Literacy! I'm extremely adaptive but at minimum I ask you do two paragraphs so I have something to work with. Alongside this have some good grammar. I'm not a grammar nazi for wanting to understand your sentences. If your first language is not english that's fine because it's not mine either! We can help eachother for all I care.

• I am extremely patient but do not dm me if you will be responding only two times a week. I get super invested in a roleplay and it is painful to want more but have to wait a millenia for your response. I am a busy person as well but c'mon.

• Mostly want to try a plot in mind I have(fandomless)!!

• If you are not into talking ooc we won't mesh well. This isn't a business transaction and while we don't need to be full on friends I atleast want some communication between us.

• You get many many points if you gush about the show, ships or anything with me! Pinterest boards who? Spotify playlists?? Edits? Chefs kiss. You don't need to make em because I sure as shit will. Point is, have fun!

• Last thing. Real FCs only, all of my fandoms are TV shows and I can't imagine an animated character with fuckin' Jenna ortega. I don't mind helping you find a FC, but I will not roleplay with piccrew or anime faceclaims.
