I know this idea has been done a lot, but there was a lot of thought that went behind this when I first sketched it after witnessing the mirror scene in my first playthrough and I wanted to talk about it a little... particularly how orion (my tav) isn't an artist at all, and that with her behaviour it's difficult to tell when she is being genuine, though Astarion does discover later on that she's always being genuine!! She's just weird. Anyway, I thought about how Astarion very much dislikes being in the spotlight despite his flamboyant attitude, and how a gesture of what Orion thinks to be a kindness can actually be misconstrued as humiliation for someone who has been subject to verbal and physical abuse/humiliation for so many years. And the necessary subsequent communication to make oneself understood.

Ok, first we got Orion, one of the old Hypnobrai Generals! Atm I don't think he'd have any fancy clothing but that could change idk. He's typically calm and collected, but that will NOT stop him from snapping.

Next is Iris, Orion's most loyal warrior. She's EXTREMELY fast on her feet. In a particularly gruesome battle, someone had chopped off a part of her tail, to which she had to get a prosthetic attached. She chose a spiked ball, which is one of her new favorite weapons!

Third, we got Ari, she's a very adept fighter, his skills lie in her precision in both venom and blade! Ari LIVES for the fight, if she's not fighting he may as well not even be there!

Finally, we have Ambrose, an ambitiously cocky Anacondrai General, known for being a snob and pissing every single human and serpent off! He prides himself on being better than everyone else.

while Millie is the pet he brings to fights and such, he also has a whole collection of pet octopuses who stay at home

no seriously there's zero relation to grandmother raven, his wings were a gift from artemis. he needs to spend time around stars to be able to fly-- if he spends too long indoors/underground or in a world with permanent cloud cover they're basically useless

his freckles glow :]

sometimes he does artemis's job when she's busy with beastmoon, and uses his brush to paint the night sky

in terms of biological age, he's the oldest of my wizards! technically not immortal but he does age MUCH slower than the average human.

he keeps his hood/mask down most of the time, only putting it up when he's going to be flying for a long time. it gets cold up there!

there's remnants of kraken markings and a slightly stretched mantle for alister's because he overused the kraken special as a kid.

though it doesnt really show, i tried to have zara share some stuff with firefly squid anatomy. i also tried to have onyx share stuff with hooked squids and pygmy squids but it was difficult. (why two species for onyx? its a secret.......(too lazy to mention))

violet's fuzzy hand DOES translate over, its just a fuzzy tentacle in the back. they have an enemy octoling-like swim form because of their biological mother (who was in the octarian military). didnt know how to show it in the drawing but the mask has a purple hue to it in the light. its a lot more noticeable in swim form than in the humanoid form.
