Starfall's Helpful Locations Guide 2 !
We thought it'd be helpful if we discussed some of the locations you can visit during your stay in Starfall, that way you can plan ahead on site-seeing! So have this 'lil guide with descriptions of each place and what they have to offer! (This post includes places from the Suburbs! Check our other post for City Sites!)
Suburban Spots !
Sweet Dreams Pastries
If you're a fan of sweets, try checking out this quaint corner bakery! Its exterior isn't anything extravagant - the building is painted in black with detailing in the same color to give subtle texture, with many large windows for natural lighting, and a sign that sits above a cute striped awning, decorated heavily with flora decor, giving a modernized twist on a classic look. The interior is quite small, as it wasn't intended to be a place for sitting and dining; though recently, they've taken customer feedback and have added a few tables and seats inside, more on the patio. Murals were also painted inside to add some colorful flair against the stark-white walls. The pastries aren't particularly eye-catching, their appearances like any others, yet somehow Sweet Dreams makes them taste far better than any other place. People joke that there has to be a secret ingredient since there's no way it's possible for something as simple as a chocolate chip cookie to taste so different and sweet!
Among The Stars Casino
Gambling isn't a child's game, so if you're looking for games with high stakes and big prizes, Among The Stars Casino is your place to go. Being around for years, the casino has built a reputation. One might be shocked when first seeing the outside; a 3 story-bricked and worn building, old detailing, and a giant awning decked in neon lights, the name included, would make anyone think it wasn't a high-end casino like the rumors, but once inside, it lives up to the claims. The interior is a complete 360 from the run-down outside; it sports a large walkway as you enter through the doors, fancy, red carpet lining the floor with tiles where it's not, murals painted on the ceilings with white trimming highlighting them, chandeliers hanging from ornate holders, and on either side of the walkway are tables upon tables for playing to your heart's content. The two other floors are similar in appearance, but there is a mixture of open tables and slot machines rather than only tables; there's also a bar on the second floor! There's talk of a basement floor, how only VIPS are allowed down for special games with even better prizes, but it's a silly rumor that's meant to rack in VIP membership money.. right?
Mystic Lagoon
Uncovering secret spots is something any explorer can do, but if you're looking for a real challenge, try finding this Mystical Lagoon. Hidden deep within the forest, losing your way while searching is easy; the signs of whether you made it or not are nearly non-existent; a tip.. if you notice vines, thorny ones, sticking together to form a make-shift wall, trying to hide something, you're most likely on the right path. To know if you've found the lagoon, not some random, hidden pond, the biggest sign will be the entrance; there'll be a bridge – unlike the other spots – old, a bit dilapidated, and missing a few stone bricks. Reeds shroud the sides of it, while vines and moss cover every inch. Past the bridge, under leaves and past tall reeds, there'll be the first bit of the lagoon, colorful flora surrounding the area, while drooping trees and flowery vines create a canopy over it. Following the path deeper, the light that once seeped through the thin openings of the leaves disappear; it's like an eternal night, getting darker the farther you travel, and the plants and vines glow like stars. Even then, with the iridescent shine from the plants, a feeling of unease surrounds it; maybe that's why larger animals won't travel deeper, or maybe it's 'cause of that large thing hiding under the murky waters.

just thought of something. i want new agent 3 and mr. grizz to parallel each other in regards to their feelings of loneliness. what if grizzco employees slaughtered everyone in the community of salmonids where lagoon grew up except for little buddy. ooughh i want a personal motive for them to want to kill mr. grizz. also im interpreting new 3 representing the splatlands' chaos in less of a "go craeazyyy insanneeee" way and more of a serious and philosophical concept of "chaos"

Writing Commissions 🔛🔝
I want to write more, but I lost all the outlines that I created in the past two years, in which most of them I had started their drafts. Naturally, my morale tanked, but I don’t want for that to stop me on the path to consistency. So I’m opening commissions, yippe!

Communication. I have a computer science background, so I take everything literally and my mind blanks at “idk, do whatever you want”.
My Writing Approach. People talk a lot in my stories and though I do it to showcase dynamics, I also do it to pace myself. To prevent overlap and incoherency, I significantly limit my reliance on exposition. I rarely start my stories with it, and I will more than likely write in media res if the requested word cap is on the shorter side.
Expressing Limitations. No does not mean that the idea is bad or that you should be ashamed, but that I don’t feel confident in being able to properly execute it.

What are your OL 1 & 2 OCs 👀
Okay- thank you for asking. I've been dying to ramble a bit about them for awhile.
So- I've only drawn out my OL2 oc once (a second is in the works). But their name is Atlas Emerson. My OL1 OC's name is Zenith Collins.
Zenith Info:
They were born female and used (she/her) in step 1, (all pronouns) in step 2, and then decided on (they/them, masc leaning) in step 3. They came out as genderfluid openly in step 3, but also declared a preference for words like 'sir' instead of 'ma'am'. They're average height and weight most of their life, but started gaining slight muscle definition in step 2 & 3. By the end of step 3, they were toned but not as much as Cove was. (They use a chest binder and sports bras, but they got their uterus removed for medical reasons.)
They've got hazel-green eyes and dirty blonde hair, which over time changed to be more of a brunette color in the future (after which they dyed the front half black, and got a matching nose piercing with Noelani).
Zenith's original name was Astra, something Pamela picked out during the adoption process. Noelani helped them pick out Zenith later on when they didn't feel connected to the name anymore. They've always been ever so slightly closer with Noelani then Pam, which was due to her more relaxed nature while Pam was far more protective which was slightly overwhelming for them.
When Z met Cove the first thing they noticed was how soft his hair looked, as they sat next to him and called him 'space cadet'. Their interest in space was obvious as their denium jacket had embroidered constellations on the back and space themed patches and pins on the front and arms. Eventually when Cliff and their moms were heard in the distance they didn't say anything, just gave him their jacket with a gentle smile before calling out for the adults. If they hadn't of heard Noelani's worry through her voice they wouldn't have said a single thing, knowing what it was like to be overwhelmed by a new situation.
Step 1 was purely childhood friendship, but step 2 they developed a crush on Cove. They damn near slapped the shit outta Jermey for calling Cove's eyebrows weird that one time, and at the party? Ohhh they wanted to make him eat some serious dirt. Their relationship with Derek was slightly strained by his feelings for them, an awkward tension obvious between them.
Oml- the family trip. Snuggling together in the overhead loft, it was their first time being the one to engage in excessive physical contact with Cove. The shockwaves that went through their touch starved form, they don't like being touched often, when he held them close only secured their feelings even more. Finding out about the anklet thing and immediately ordering some to the house for when they got back. Subtly saying that they really liked his hair, how it'd look good long and admitting his scar was another thing they enjoyed about him.
The kiss after Step 2 caused a chain reaction between the two, both flustered messes- too embarrassed to talk to each other alone for about a week.
They got together finally in Step 3 (Cove asked), and Zenith started surfing again (a hobby they dropped so Cove from step 1 wouldn't be left out). They ate shit a few times near coral reefs, gaining small scars litering their arms, legs, and sides. Step 3 patreon bonus moment happened, but it was only that once. They both decided it wasn't a necessary thing for their relationship, but knew they could talk to each other if either of them needed it.
Zenith chose to do online university to stay close- double majoring in writing, and astrology as they worked for Noelani's boutique- helping her expand her horizons into gender neutral formal wear.
Step 4 Zenith proposes to Cove, by the tree surrounded by white poppies. Wedding was held in large white poppy field, after party was held in the aquarium. Honeymoon was booked to take place in Greenland- at the blue lagoon.
Atlas Info:
Once again they were born female and used she/her pronouns until step 2 which they changed it to they/them and came out at nonbinary. They're a tall, slender, kid and remain tall their entire life- despite developing curves due to their originally assigned gender. (They get a top reduction by step 3 and a chosen uterus removal by step 4. Periods suck.)
Their eyes are two slightly different shades of blue and blue-gray, it's almost unnoticeable. BUT their hair is their most defining feature. The front half is a darker cranberry then their moms, while the back half is a golden-brown which they got from the donor their mom got. The donor had green eyes- but the blue came from his side of the family as well.
Before moving to Golden Grove (GG), them and their momma lived in a crowded city- similar to New York. Traffic was hectic, nights were loud, stars impossible to see, yada yada.
About a year and a half (they were 9) before they moved to GG they got pulled into an alley way and mugged at knife point while headed to school. It's how they got their scar on their neck, which they keep covered with turtle necks, scarfs, and band-aids.
When Opal found out about the incident she became overprotective and determined to find a job or promotion to get out of the city, til that happened she insisted that she accompanied Atlas to and from school daily.
After to moving to the small town of Golden Grove, they meet Qiu first- feeling comforted by his soft and friendly demeanor, this led to them being fast friends. Bonding over their mutual love of writing, sketching, and playfully teasing their friends.
When they met Tamarack they were slightly freaked out, anxious after she jumped out from the leaf piles- but slowly calmed down when they realized she was just a tiny, happy-go-lucky kid. When discovering her innocent nature they quickly adapted to being very protective of her, willingly becoming the scary dog friend of the group.
During step 2 they are a comfort for their two friends, but also a sheild from them from everyone/everything else. If someone picks on Tamarack? They're getting their ass beat. Someone annoys Autumn just a bit too much? They'll have a word with said person, scare 'em off. However- because of them taking care of their friends more than themself they unintentionally cause internal damage to their mental health, especially with the unresolved trauma from before they moved here.
Step 3 is when the roles get reversed, "their candle has burnt out, and they need someone else to guide their way." During this step Tam and Aut convince them to start going to therapy, eventually getting diagnosed with ADHD, PTSD, Generalized Anxiety, and Bodily Dsymorphia. Another thing that happens because of going to therapy and talking with the two alot more without drama, they start to realize they've got feelings for them both and don't know what to do.
Sadly- that's about all I got rn for them since the game's not done yet, so their story may change once the game comes out.

Ian is a student at the Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, better known as Tokyo Jujutsu High (previously was in the institute located in Kyoto). He was adopted by Kento Nanami at the age of 4, and lived his entire life in the city of Kyoto, to move a few months after starting Jujutsu high school to Tokyo.

Ian is an average height, slightly build boy with blonde stylized with his hair ends and a lock of his bangs with a salmon pink. His eyebrows are brownish, thin and large, his eyes are slightly big and have pronounced genetical dark circles.
Being a person who feels hot very easily, he usually has tight short sleeves, and his uniform finishes at the upper part of his abdomen, but wears a shirt without sleeves of a slightly darker tone below it and He wears an opaque yellow fanny pack on his hip. His trousers are like the promedy Jujutsu uniform.
When he is not in his uniform, he tries to imitate his father's style with his clothes.

To make the powers I was inspired by the director who appears in the first chapters, because I thought it was incredible. So, stuffed animals with curses inside, aha.
Ian's technique is based on stuffed animals, as they have always been his hobby. He uses summons for his fights, mostly at long range. Their summons are curses trapped in the stuffed animals, the process is simple. You create a stuffed animal, exorcise the curse, unzip the stuffed animal and put the ball with its cursed energy inside it.
It also has voodoo techniques. He collects the DNA (small parts of the body or blood), puts it inside the stuffed animal, and activates it with his own cursed energy. These voodoos only fully affect grade 3, 2, and weaker grade 1 curses SLIGHTLY. With higher-ranking ones, it simulates damage weakly, or generates injuries that are easy to ignore.
His hand-to-hand fighting skills are... passable, although I wouldn't tell you that he would survive if you just hit him. He will most likely lose if you are not far away. That's why it serves as more support than fighting alone.

Para hacer los poderes me inspiré en el director que aparece en los primeros capítulos, porque me pareció increíble. Entonces, peluches con maldiciones dentro, ajá.
La técnica de Ian se basa en animales de peluche, ya que siempre han sido su hobby. Utiliza invocaciones para sus peleas, principalmente a larga distancia. Sus invocaciones son maldiciones atrapadas en los peluches, el proceso es sencillo. Creas un peluche, exorcisas la maldición, abres la cremallera del peluche y pones la bola con su energía maldita en su interior.
También cuenta con técnicas vudú. Recoge el ADN (pequeñas partes del cuerpo o sangre), lo mete dentro del peluche y lo activa con su propia energía maldita. Estos vudú solo afectan completamente las maldiciones de grado 3, 2 y 1, más débiles, LIGERAMENTE. Con los de mayor rango, simula daños débilmente o genera lesiones que son fáciles de ignorar.
Sus habilidades de lucha cuerpo a cuerpo son... pasables, aunque no te diría que sobreviviría si simplemente lo golpearas. Lo más probable es que pierda si no estás lejos. Por eso sirve como más apoyó que para luchar solo.

Right so this is Simon Lovelace! He’s 23 at the time of PostIncident!Crystal (25 by the time Crystal’s 16) He runs a nightclub (been debating with myself lately whether he owns it or is the manager)
(As you can see his concept sketch image contradicts what I've typed out, that's because that sketch was from august of last year lol) ((also if you click on the right pic he's only holding a heart yall CHILL))
As you can guess I’ve been building his personality and lore in my head, but so far;
His personality: He’s suave, eccentric, very confident in himself, and very loving! He likes to sing, dance, and in general have fun, and make sure those around him are having a good time as well. In general, despite what you’d think with him being a years experienced heartbreaker, a very lively person!
Lore: I don’t have too much built up yet but before him getting the job as a heartbreaker, his major events go like this; He used to be in a circus performing as an acrobat with Attilio (Surprise bww oc + canon tie in! He’s Attilio’s cousin!) and he eventually quit either when the circus went down or when he just felt like it -> a distance started growing between him and his mom for an unknown reason -> he meets Madre, they talk and have a auntie and nephew relationship because 💝 -> his mom eventually cuts him off, in turn distancing him a lil from the rest of his family (still thinking this one out) -> he meets Madre once again and gets the job offer, he promptly takes it because yeah (still also thinking this one out like the reason as to why)

He can drive both a car (Havent decided on what kind of car yet but it's definitely a very nice looking one +..｡*ﾟ+) and a motorcycle! Do not expect to draw EITHER of these lol I can barely draw weapons

-> His help came in the form of ego building and self care! He basically taught her to compliment herself more, how to take better care of herself, and indulge in things that make her happy. It worked! (obviously it didnt heal her all the way because that's not how trauma works- it just helped her to be in less mental and emotional pain)
He can SANG my boy got pipes <3 aside from that (or affiliated with idk) I havent fully decided on a voice claim for him, but so far I'm thinking the main vocals on Tears of Love by SUI UZI is pretty nice (SUI UZI GOATED SUI UZI GOATED)
I was originally debating on whether he should be hispanic, italian, or french, and then while thinking about him being italian I got this idea screaming in my head like *slams fist on table* "DUDE ATTILIO!!!1!!!1!11" So now he's italian! Hooray!

I got his surname from Garcia Lovelace off Black Lagoon (was on a huge Black Lagoon kick when first thinking up his name)

Luddy and Lulu (WH Ocs Intro.)
I'm cringe but I'm free.
Luddy and Lulu aka the puppet versions of Diego and Dora /j
Some information about the two siblings (Scroll down if you just want to see the art):
Prior to moving in, they both lived near a lagoon
They're half water-monsters (both have star birth marks on their palms)
Luddy would've served as Welcome Homes librarian, while Lulu would've been the neighborhoods banker
Their segrements involved teaching viewers Spanish
However Luddy's segments also included teaching viewers about poetry, marine biology, oceanography, geography, and history
Lulu's segments also involved any math related subjects and lapidary arts
Below, you can see how their designs changed...only in the span of 2 months...hehe.

Introduction and Eproctophilia Fandoms
Hello! I'm Arson, and I made this blog to discuss eproctophilia (fart fetish) scenarios for my favorite female characters. Find fandoms under the cut! If you're more into guys, that's just fine - M/F fart scenarios, especially between couples, are some of my favorites.

Just made up a Black Lagoon OC heavily inspired by Jiren from DBS. Currently drawing him, but his name is Rejin Greyblood, nicknamed by most crime organizations as the "Monochrome Menace". He's given that nickname by the way because of him being the scariest mercenary and vanguard anyone can come across, he's also nomadic, meaning he can work with anyone however he pleases.
Though he wasn't intentionally going for the crime scenery, instead, before he became what he currently is, all he wanted to be a rockstar and form a band called the "Troops of Pride" or something like that, but ended up becoming a skilled merc-vanguard after coming into the crosshairs of Roberta's Blood Trail.
Though he didn't become a rockstar, he does have a taste in rock music, especially ones like Bon Jovi and the like. He often quotes the song "It's My Life" whenever he has a conversation with Revy or Rock.
Speaking of Rock, Rejin has a liking towards him, to the point where it's unknown if it's romantic or platonic. Though, by obvious standards, it's both.
FUN FACTS ABOUT REJIN GREYBLOOD!
Fun Fact #1: Though he has "Greyblood" as his name, he is born Japanese-raised-American. Hence his liking towards Rock, who is Japanese.
Fun Fact #2: Though not a parental figure or married to some degree (simply put, he's single and unmarried), he does treat most of the other mercenaries as if they're his own kids (for example, Hansel and Gretel), so he's not only skilled in murder but he's also skilled in parenting.
Fun Fact #3: Though identifying as a male, both mentally and biologically, he does like to crossdress at times. Though, he only does it when he feels pretty.
Fun Fact #4: Rejin has the same meaning as Jiren's name, it's just the Japanese word for "stove", just with a few letters rearranged to make a new name. This also makes up a new meaning with that new arrangement, meaning "King", "Precious", or "Extraordinary", which kind of fits, given Rejin's character as being extraordinary to the others.
Fun Fact #5: He knows of Roberta and her Blood Trail, as he was the one to witness all the blood that she spreads (well that's a weird way to say it), but also because of them later gaining mutual respect the more they meet each other during battle. (Which that whole thing is of course a reference to my poll, pitting Jiren against Roberta on Tumblr.)
Fun Fact #6: He takes insults as compliments, especially when he has conversations with Revy. (At one point, Revy called Rejin a "f*ggot" when regarding Rejin's platonic-romantic relationship with Rock, and he took it as a fact, stating "That's what he is". I mean, to be fair, Revy calling him that might be accurate so yeah.)
Fun Fact #7: His birthday is October 9th, 1960, making him (according to my sources) 35 years old, considering Black Lagoon is set in the mid-1990s, though if we put it in today's date; he'd be 63 years old by now. (Although Jiren's age is relatively unknown, I just decided to give Rejin my birthday, October 9th, because I can. Besides, I've done it before so what's stopping me from doing it again? Plus, his birthday is on a Sunday, which for most religious people is going-to-Church day, which is ironic considering Rejin is like a quarter away from being gay for Rock, if it's not obvious from the very start, and him not a religious person. So yeah.)
Fun Fact #8: Though he has a somewhat skinny physique, he's relatively muscular, with all the weight of firearms that he has been blasting and carrying throughout most of his time as a menace.
Fun Fact #9: His hair is naturally grey, despite him being 35, which for Japanese people only happens in their late 30s.
Fun Fact #10: He is quite an insomniac, due to him having to take missions during the night time and him not having a proper sleep schedule. Making him paler, sickly, and almost zombie-like to say the least. Which sort of describes the Grey Alien concept a bit more.
Fun Fact #11: Though he is not religious, Eda mentions how his outfit resembles church clothes most people wear when they go to worship God. He states to Eda that "he'll only consider worshipping a god when the world is on the brink of extinction". (Simply put, Rejin is an atheist)
Fun Fact #12: He's not a natural smiler, only able to smirk and grin at things he knows are intentional. He only genuinely smiles when Rock is in the room or when he is near Rock.
