Starfall City is a roleplay server that is based around the idea of yanderes, their rivals, and valentines! The server is for those who want to find people who also enjoy dark tropes, and most importantly, for people to roleplay with their OCS in intense - or normal! - scenarios!

This is an ask-blog for lore questions or general questions about the server! You can ask if there are important characters to the lore ( any characters apart of lore are ones created by staff and staff alone ), where yanderes might've come from, ect. or if you don't want to ask about lore, you can ask questions about events/share ideas, how members are, what we do on the server for fun, theories, ect! The server is about Starfall City, one of the world's most famous “accepting” cities. The general world lore surrounding Starfall City contains non-humans, magic-users, and everyday humans; Non-humans and magic users are treated as less than in most places around the world, but there are a few cities and safe places in select countries where they can go to escape the judgment and live freely; Starfall happens to be one of those cities!

Starfall is beautiful, there's no denying it, but that's only on the surface. It may come off as being an accepting city, open and safe to non-humans and magic users alike, aided by having the population evenly split between all three groups, but what the outside media isn't aware of - and somehow is never exposed to -, is how Starfall is no better than every other place in the world. Discrimination is still prevalent within the city, yet, how come nobody outside seems to know what's going on inside?

In more recent years, "Yanderes" - obsessive, and potentially dangerous, people who are searching for the target of their attention, "Valentines" - have begun to appear, again. Yanderes have been around for longer than time can tell, and they've been found in nearly every corner of the world. There are ideas of where Yanderes might've originated, but nobody can seem to agree on a theory. The most surprising thing of all though, is that, with these rising cases, most of them are from Starfall - though, this is unknown to normal outsiders. Thanks to these Yandere cases, Starfall's also had an increase in missing peoples cases; the city's government is turning a blind eye to this for some reason, and no matter what people do, none of the shit that happens in Starfall city is able to be exposed to outsiders.

Nobody knows why this is happening or how it was allowed to fester to get to how it is now, but something that's for certain is that this city isn't what it seems.

Starfall City is a 15+ server, so if you aren't 15 or older, please don't join!! We aren't an NSFW RP server, so no NSFW RPS will be allowed. At the same time, slightly suggestive jokes about characters (from media. Try not to make these about OCS unless the creators are comfortable with it) are alright. But again, please no NSFW RPs and no NSFW images, gifs and the like. We also - and we hope you don't mix this up somehow - aren't an IRL yandere server. This is all fictional and meant to be a fun place to talk about dark tropes, and roleplay said tropes, IN FICTION! Please don't do any of this kind of stuff irl!!! that's common knowledge, but some people clearly don't understand that!! So please don't join this looking for a "real yandere".. thank you.

Another important thing to note is that we are an OC-only server. so no characters from existing media are allowed (IE. you cannot submit Hannibal Lecter as a character). Its important to point out as well, but when subbing your character, please follow our rules (and please, at the very least, have your ocs' personality be 5 sentences minimum...)! Read lore and FAQ (in the server) so that way it saves everyone the trouble of having to fix things! If you are confused about how to fill the sheet out, you can always ask (and check out our guides in the pinned msgs of oc help!) Our server allows for all writing types, so have fun :) (it'd be super cool if u guys reblogged this... :33)

Cooper - Hello, I’m Cooper. I’m referred to as my name by many, although not all. I’m fine with going by any other nickname provided; x/hell/psyche and anything else appropriately associated with myself. My pronouns are he/him and I am male. I’m an avid piercing/tattoo enjoyer, while having some myself. I enjoy hearing about others’ experiences and own products of such. Some interests I device myself in would be; music, painting/traditional art, poetry, film/theatre/movies, anything gothic or Victorian, and horror/gore in multiple categories. More into depth on music as it’s a key passion of mine, I listen to pretty much everything but country. Main genres I listen to include; rock, metal, screamo, pop, indiepov, alternative R&B, stoner rock, sigilkore, phonk, and EDM along with many other genres. I like anything and everything futuristic, y2k-inspired, and funk-based, so if you're into JSR, Splatoon, or BRC, feel free to shoot me a message! I am also most definitely normal and sane and interacting with me frequently will have no drawbacks to your mental or physical health. I'm a he/him male who is ur biggest fanatic about anything horror (from movies, to games, to books), and also sharks. I sometimes will go awhile without talking, but I will not leave dw‼️‼️‼️ I can ramble interests for hours, literally, and can't really type for the life of me (I ran this all through grammarly and google). Silly fact is I'm a hispanic, mixed with Mexican, Salvadoran, and Honduran. I also LOVE writing, whether it be creative and OC-related or more professional/school setting. Starfall's Helpful Locations Guide 2 !

We thought It'd be helpful if we discussed some of the locations you can visit during your stay in Starfall, that way you can plan ahead for sites you wanna see! So have this 'lil guide with descriptions of each place and what they have to offer! (This post includes places from the Suburbs! Check our other post for City Sites!)

Suburban Spots !

Sweet Dreams Pastries

If you're a fan of sweets, try checking out this quaint corner bakery! Its exterior isn't anything extravagant - the building is painted in black with detailing in the same color to give subtle texture, there are many large windows for natural lighting, and a sign sits above a cute striped awning, decorated heavily with flora, giving a modernized twist on a classic look. The interior is quite small, as it wasn't intended to be a place for sitting and dining; though recently, they've taken customer feedback and have added a few tables and seats inside, more on the patio. Murals were also painted inside to add some flair against the white walls. The pastries aren't particularly eye-catching, yet somehow Sweet Dreams makes them taste far better than any other place. People joke that there has to be a secret ingredient since there's no way it's possible for something as simple as a chocolate chip cookie to taste so different and sweet!

Among The Stars Casino

Gambling isn't a child's game, so if you're looking for games with high stakes and big prizes, Among The Stars Casino is your place to go. Being around for years, the casino has built a reputation. One might be shocked when first seeing the outside; a 3 story-bricked building, old detailing, and a giant awning decked in neon lights, the name included, would make anyone think it wasn't a high-end casino like the rumors, but once inside, it lives up to the claims. The interior is a complete 360, with a large walkway as you enter through the doors, fancy carpet lining the floor with tiles where it's not, murals painted on the ceilings with white trimming highlighting them, chandeliers hanging from ornate holders, and on either side of the walkway are tables upon tables for playing to your heart's content. The two other floors are similar in appearance, but there is a mixture of open tables and slot machines rather than only tables; there's also a bar on the second floor! There's talk of a basement floor, how only VIPS are allowed down for special games with special prizes, but it's a silly rumor that's meant to rack in VIP membership money.. right?

Mystic Lagoon

Uncovering secret spots is something any explorer can do, but if you're looking for a real challenge, try finding this Mystical Lagoon. Hidden deep within the forest, losing your way while searching is easy; the signs of whether you made it or not are nearly non-existent; a tip.. if you notice vines, thorny ones, sticking together to form a make-shift wall, trying to hide something, you're most likely on the right path. To know if you've found the lagoon, not a random, hidden pond, the biggest sign will be the entrance; there'll be a bridge - unlike the other spots - old, a bit dilapidated, and missing a few stone bricks. Reeds shroud the sides of it, while vines and moss cover every inch. Past the bridge, under leaves and past tall reeds, there'll be the first bit of the lagoon, colorful flora surrounding the area, while drooping trees and flowery vines cover it. Following the path deeper, the light that seeped through the thin openings of the leaves disappear; it's like an eternal night, and the plants and vines glow like stars. Even then, a feeling of unease surrounds it; maybe that's why larger animals won't travel deeper, or maybe it's 'cause of that large thing hiding under the murky waters.

City Sites !

Starview Cinema

If you're looking to watch movies in HD, Starview Cinema should be at the top of your places to visit. A few years back, it was redone to give it the aesthetic of a vintage Cinema; a giant movie board - updated daily -, a large, lit-up sign, ticket booths under the awning, it's got it all! Inside, despite the illusion of a flat roof outside, there's a domed ceiling with a starry sky painted on, giving the building a magical night feel. There are self-salting and buttering stations, concessions, and even a bar for you to get a little sum :) There are two wings on either side, each holding 10 regular theatres and 1 VIP theatre. People praise Starview on how quickly new releases make it to the screens, but recently, "movies" and "ads" containing strange, often graphic, material have been appearing where they aren't meant to. Not to fret, the staff are working on a fix for this! So If you see anything strange, do make sure to report it.

Celeste Aquarium

The Celeste Aquarium is quite a sight to see, and not just for the life within, but for just how grand it is; gorgeous detailing surrounds the entire building, along with marble pillars and steps, which are always kept pristine. There are 3 sections in total, split into two wings on either side of the main building, which sports a giant glass dome; it's ethereal at night! Each section houses a different type of aquatic lifeform: smaller fish, like seahorses or clownfish, are at the right wing, while the left wing holds larger fish and creatures, like whales and sharks. There is a large, cylinder tank at the center section, under the dome, that holds a mix of both wings, though majorly holds rare, magical creatures. Sometimes, there are mermaid shows held at the center tank; however, Celeste Aquarium does not use real mermaids for these shows; despite some people pointing out how real the fins look, we can say that its thanks to our special effects team that we're able to make the mermaids look convincing!

Novelty Nook

A popular, well-known bookshop within the city; a staple if you're an avid reader! The building is two stories tall, and its exterior is modern, with a solid black coat of paint on the bricks in front and large windows, making it stand out from the shops on either side. It has a cute black awning with a sign just above it. Although it seems small outside, it has a surprising amount of space once you step in. It exhibits a homey vibe inside, warm lighting and a relaxing feel, contrasting the cool, modern design of the outside. It has books from every genre, and nearly every author: Kids' books, romance, murder mystery, how-tos, you name it and the shop has it! In the back of the store, there's a spiral staircase leading to the second floor - though it barely counts as one, sporting a hollowed center to view the first floor and vice versa. There are sliding ladders on some bookshelves, for the books higher up. It's a great place to go if you're looking for a good book to get lost in, or to meet new friends with similar interests!

Some interests I device myself in would be; music, painting/traditional art, poetry, film/theatre/movies, anything gothic or Victorian, and horror/gore in multiple categories. More into depth on music as it’s a key passion of mine, I listen to pretty much everything but country. Main genres I listen to include; rock, metal, screamo, pop, indiepov, alternative R&B, stoner rock, sigilkore, phonk, and EDM along with many other genres. This is just a skim of interests I have, much like most people, I have more to me than given information can be provided. As for personality, I’m the nicest person you could come across. Xino - HIII💥‼️ I'm Xino, or Xinolo, or Nolo, or Xinxin, or Xin, literally anything you can come up with!! I'm a he/him male who is ur biggest fanatic about anything horror (from movies, to games, to books), and also sharks. I sometimes will go awhile without talking, but I will not leave dw‼️‼️‼️ I can ramble interests for hours, literally, and can't really type for the life of me (I ran this all through grammarly and google). Silly fact is I'm a hispanic, mixed with Mexican, Salvadoran, and Honduran. I also LOVE writing, whether it be creative and OC-related or more professional/school setting. I don't have a tumblr (I've been told of the horrors that happens) and abuse the explosion, and red exclamation emoji, a LOT. Makes me look energized when I do, infact, need a lot of sleep.
