Safa:

Ok uhhhh where to start with Safa uhhhh.

Badass vigilante lady. She has a few different aliases floating around, namely Guardian (preferred) and Nightmare (not preferred).

She originally came from a redeemed bizarro au. Still is but I've edited stuff a lot since I first wrote those stories.

Basically she was taken in and raised by B!Cole outside the city in some small village, until she got older and went to live with and train under Cryptor in the city because she wanted to be a hero/vigilante.

She's into collecting records. Dunno about music preference but on rainy days where she doesn't have work, she'll put one on to listen to.

Loves rainy days. They're her favorite kind of days.

She works at a local independent cafe/bookstore during the day and that's also where she met her current girlfriend.

Primarily uses kickboxing/boxing as the basis for how she fights but does have weapons training and draws upon other fighting styles/methods as well.

Her and Cryptor are constantly bantering and throwing light hearted jabs at eachother. Lots of snark between the two of them.

Her mask is /supposed/ to loosely resemble dragon teeth/fangs.

She has a favorite, very soft flannel that she wears almost all the time when she's not doing vigilante work.

Has favorite spots in the city where she can just be found chilling (usually some rooftop or her local boxing gym)

She visits B!Cole as often as she can and keeps in regular contact with him even though they live really far apart now!

She has a group of friends in the city; originally they were all going to be fellow crime fighters but I've since scrapped that. Now it's just her and /maybe/ one other person in the group.

Pretty chill person. May seem a bit distant at first but that's usually cause she's trying to hard to seem cool.

Think that's it. Hoping I don't think of something later that I really wish I'd added lol.

Daemon leaned forward on the balcony rails, watching as the sun set over Ninjago City. A cool breeze brushed past, signaling the slow return of fall. 

He could hear Safa watching a cartoon she’d taken a liking to in the background, laughing at something silly a character had done. 

A smile slowly spread across his face. 

Things had been going well. It’d been months since their..trial (so to speak) had ended. Daemon had worked hard at finding a job and managed to get an apartment (One that just so happened to share a complex with Cryptor’s). 

As soon as Safa had returned home from the ninja, they’d moved in. 

…..

Though..they were some of the few to stay in the city. 

Ayden had been quick to move back to the mountains; grumbling something about finally getting room to breathe. Azul went back to his village just outside the city. 

 Blizzard had taken to traveling. 

….

He couldn’t say he missed the crowded house. 

And..he couldn’t help but wonder if maybe someday, sooner than he’d like, he’d want out of this busy, loud, suffocatingly crowded city. 

…….

Safa was in school and doing well there, however. And he had work. 

So if there ever came a day…it’d have to wait.

Sighing, he took a final glance at the dimming sky before turning to the open apartment door. 

“Alright Safa, time to get ready for bed. You have school tomorrow.” 

The young brunette groaned in response, flopping dramatically on the floor behind her. 

“But the next episode just started!”

Daemon shook his head, chuckling. “No buts. If you hurry up you can finish this episode before going to sleep, ok?” 

“Ok!!”

The McCallister-Botsford family. It's funny how much this Future AU/domestic older Tobecky stuff is my biggest fixation, but I never draw this family together. Yeah, that changed now!

An idea of an AU I had where Wordgirl never crawled into Huggy's spaceship, so she stayed on Lexicon while he still crashed. Mr. Big took over bc there was no hero (a World Without Wordgirl scenario), and Becky technically doesn't exist. I have a doc explaining more of this AU, and maybe I'll post it if anyone is curious.

I love just expanding Pretty Princess more than it should bc I'm fixated of a show within a show. So here's me going crazy in the reboot idea lmao.

Wanted to draw something for this, and I helped with a friend in organizing any original characters we had that are Palestinian and draw art in support, and I immediately thought of Mason and Safa, my Wordgirl OCs. Was used for her college project on the topic of new age social media activism.

Mari. My interpretation of Wordgirl's biological mother. She's sorta my personal blorbo. Most used in Future AU where I give her backstory.

Luis expression sheet. The second McCallister-Botsford child, my beloathed. He sucks but I love my son or rather their son? Anyway, I tried in expressions and a second attempt at his older teen design bc I hated it...still kinda do/lh.

Thanks to @call-sign-shark and Heaven being a psycho killer, i can't stop thinking about our ocs participating in the hunger games (Not the same edition, please 😭) and I know you like the safa as well.

So Eva would be District 10 because that used to be texas and mexico, or in a career district like 1, but geographically cuz Eva is mexican imma go with 10

Seeing as its one the poorer districts and its industry is livestock, Eva wouldn’t have to sign up more for food and would be kinda like Peeta who was poor but not as poor as katnis because i figure the rileys would invest on landowning and were rich before the war.

So since Eva will not be magical, she'd have to rely on her charm and whatever survival abilities she has to make it through. Knowing her she'd make a career district tribute fall for her (Jack gives huge district 2 vibes and Luca district 1)and kinda ride their coattails until they die by her hand or someone elses.(she could pull a katniss too, but most likely trick them into eating the berries first as Eva would still know about making medicine and edible plants)

She could also cheat her way into winning ala Haymitch who ised the force field to win, or ala Lucy Gray if the games still have the Capitol students be the mentors.

Eva would also be deadly with a hunting knife because 10 has teens working in slaughter houses and unfortunately killing people isn't that different from killing animals

ah,, rae. where do i begin. i feel like it's been ages since I've talked about this little raccoon man

he definitely has a case of kleptomania that is a result from his past, he does get better though

i always joke about him being a shit cook, like the kitchen will explode when he steps in there, but if he follows a recipe he's pretty decent with it

he knows how to deal with emotions the best, he knows exactly what to say and do to make you feel better

he gives the second best hugs, no cap

he's actually really good at budgeting, and he's also excellent with resource management

he's willing to make himself appear all cringe and and look like a loser just to make others laugh

her name was 100% a coincidence. i was like "damn i kinda want to give troy a sister" and since troy was already named troy, i had a big brained moment

since she flies jets, she will never get motion sick. rollercoasters? she loves them but they don't phase her at all

she can bake incredible things, but she cannot cook at all

her favourite animal is cows! they'll drive past a field and helen will press her face against the window like "O_O"

shes all cool but she cannot rollerblade. she flails around like a fool and cannot keep her balance. same goes with ice skating

shes really good with kids!
