hi guys! quick little update hehe ^^

im currently working on a binnie wip!! im excited for this idea that ive been working on and i want to get it out on here really really soon so hopefully youll be seeing that in a couple weeks!!

the last time i put something out here was four months ago 💀 definitely longer than it should have been but shorter than it has been in the past!! i hope to connect with more of you soon and be way more active in the coming days (i swear i say this every time and life gets in the way 😭 lets hope it doesnt happen this time

anyways, life has been a rollercoaster but this is my safe place so i hope i can bring some comfort and happiness to people the way other writers on here have done for me the last couple of years 🫶🏼 love you guys

WIP Thursday

“Nyx, what’s the matter?” Aunt Nesta said softly, placing her book down on the table.

Nyx’s stomach twisted and he chewed this inside of his cheek.

“Amren said something the other day,” he began as his stomach roiled again.

“What did she say to you?” Nesta said as her eyes narrowed. “Did she talk that High King nonsense again?”

“She said you had powers once. That you were really powerful.” Nyx began to peel back the hangnail on his thumb, the sharp sting of nail and skin did nothing to distract his nausea.

“But, you gave up your powers for me. Amren said you had silver fire and you could control the dead.” Nyx’s sight began to blur as wet, hot tears fell down his cheeks. “She said that you were so powerful but you gave it up.” Suddenly, he was sobbing.

Aunt Nesta said nothing as she wrapped her arms around him as he sunk to the floor. He sobbed into her chest as she rocked him slowly, softly stroking his brow and his back as Nyx cried. Everytime he tried to catch his breath another sob took over his chest. Aunt Nesta hummed softly as she kept rocking.

“Yes Nyx, I gave those powers back. And I would do it again and again.” Aunt Nesta whispered, “It brought you to us, Nyx. Why would I want a silver flame when I have you?” Nyx felt her arms tighten around him. She smelled like she always did; of ink on the pages of a book, of vanilla and chocolate cake, of fresh mountain air.

“Why would I want death when I get to watch you laugh and smile? What good is power to me if I’m not your aunt?” She smoothed back his hair and wiped away the tears on his cheeks.

My current WIP, The Goddess Nyx and the Muse Urania. (Press pic for better quality... Why do you do this Tumblr 🙄).

Nyx, the Greek Goddess of primordial Night, dark mother of mysteries, dressed in stars, subduer of gods and men, who even mighty Zeus himself stood in awe of.

Urania, Goddess of astronomy, astrology and philosophy. Her gaze ever fixed on the the infinite universe. Muse to those who seek to divine the stars, expand the mind, and unravel the mysteries of the heavens.

(I'm actually looking for a poem, lyrics or a quote to be added to this piece. Something about the night, star gazing and exploration... Our love of the stars. If you have any recommendations, please do throw them my way! I'm hunting but I haven't found something just right yet.)

Here’s a little taste of what I’m working on for @feyreweekofficial I wanted to expand on my headcanon a bit.

A soft whisper pulled her from the mouth of the worm in a rush. The jowls of her nightmare melted away as she snapped open her eyes.

“Mama?”

Feyre met Nyx’s blue eyes at the side of her bed. The stars within them whirled with worry, the hair on his cowlick was sticking up straight. She steadied her breathing, reaching for his fingers.

“Is everything alright, Nyx?” Feyre whispered while she willed her heart to stop racing.

“You had a bad dream,” Nyx whispered, “I saw it, so I woke you up.”

Silently, she lifted him into bed with her. Nyx jumped up, giving her an edge as she pulled him into her arms.

“You didn’t see anything scary did you?” she asked, as he nuzzled into her neck.

“There was a worm I think, but it felt like you were scared,” he whispered, “is it because Papa isn’t home?”
