that comment about how you should not borrow grief from the future has saved me multiple times from spiraling into an inescapable state of anxiety. like every time i find myself thinking about how something in the future could go wrong i remember that comment and i think to myself: well i never know, it might get better. it might not even happen the way i think it will and if it does happen and it is sad and bad ill be sad about it then, when it happens. and it’s somehow soo freeing

When the run is going a little too beautifully and then almost everyone dies the last two chapters

#there was no recovering this run after Dylan and Kaitlyn died and then i got distracted when i needed to shoot Silas #Jacob and Nick are the only two alive (Caleb is as well. but playables Jacob and Nick made it) #Dylan I'm so sorry 😔 I tried so hard but I knew as soon as Kaitlyn went down i made the wrong choice #I'm playing the quarry btw #first run was not bad i lost two people #but THIS run!? i discovered i could save Dylan's hand entirely but at what cost #like a lot of good that did him when he's freaking DEAD NOW I'm sobbing in the corner #Ryan i cannot apologize any harder to you 😔 bro should have been chilling listening to his podcast #not dying in the middle of the woods bc I was distracted and didn't shoot Silas #tragic actually #I'm surprised Jacob made it though he died my first run #okay silly little game rambles done #for now #nyx talks #nyx talks : games #the quarry
