opening up general commissions so i thought i'd make a new post, most info is already in the slides but i require a document with information and references before we can get started, list below!

which type of commission you want (head/bust/half body + lines/color)

short description / introduction of your oc

at least one visual reference but preferably more; face claim, art, picrew (if the maker allows it), NO a/i art!

additional visual references such as pose, clothing, tattoos, and color scheme; if you don't have any preferences, you can skip this!

additional details that i need to keep in mind (freckles, scars, stuff like that)

what kind of background you'd like (solid color, gradient, dual color)

DM me before paying! i would like to see references first before receiving payment, so i'll know what i'll be working on!

if there's no open slots left, i can put you on the waiting list and i'll reach out to you as soon as i've worked through my queue :D i work in batches as to not overwork myself, so i cannot give you an indication on how long you'll be on the waiting list

7. do they wake up groggy or alert? do they like mornings?

Groggy...She has a hard time getting to sleep until like 2am which results in her getting only a few hours of sleep.

9. what do they smell like? do they use perfume or cologne?

Shea butter, vanilla, and until recently...gunpowder and soil.

30. is there something about their personality they want to change?

Despite being pretty nice in general, Ramona wishes she wasn’t so cold towards people she’d just met until they’ve “proved” themselves to her.

38. do they have parents / parental figures? do they have a good relationship with them?

She has a mom and and dad who strict with her growing up but it was only to protect her. Ramona has alot of respect for her parents being so educated and successful. Though she wishes they didn’t have to “blend in” when around white colleagues.

48. do they have social media? do they like it or hate it? obsess over it?

Ramona never bothered with social media when she was younger due to her parents rules and general disinterest.

🖊- elliot has the good ol' trust issues going on and is stuck between hating authority figures and craving their approval; when he first started working as a deputy, he sort of hated the sheriff and didn't do much to hide his disdain, but he ended up trying harder to work well because earl gave him the validation he couldn't get from anyone else uwu

48. Are any of your characters apprentices? Sudden realisation that nope, none of them are! Whoops ._.

49. Are any of your characters certified Bird Nerds™? I suppose Einar would be closest? He's lived in the same lake for centuries, and had to find some kind of way to keep himself entertained. Learning about the local bird population just sorta happened!

50. Are any of your characters Good Dads™? Sigurður is the best dad!! Most devoted dad! He works so hard to give his daughter a good home and the best start, and to make up for the years he was (unwillingly) not part of her life.

56. Do any of your characters have step-family? Patrizio does, but he sure as hell doesn't like any of them. Turns out, trying to replace your kid's missing-assumed-dead mother with your new wife is a really bad idea! And forcing the kids to hang out together all the time, even when they don't get along, is even worse! No wonder Pat spends so much time out of the house...

57. Do any of your characters consistently wear hats? Lev wears his ushanka pretty much constantly. Partly because it's really cold in Moscow, partly because it's just comfy! Sometimes he even sleeps in it.

62. Have any of your characters adopted anyone? Yuri and Sparta adopt eventually! Very caring and attentive parents, even with Yuri's chronic emotional constipation. Sparta teaches the kid how to cook well, and Yuri... Yuri teaches them about tanks. Because that's a totally normal thing to teach your adopted child.

68. Are any of your characters intimidatingly beautiful? Ragnvaldr, definitely. I mean fuck's sake, they're not even fully human, that's gotta be cheating right? 7'2 and looking like they were carved out of grey marble. They're practically built for making people forget how to speak, and question things about themselves.

Get to know my character meme

01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

Her full name is Dorothy “Mouse” Locke! Most of her name was either inspired by or directly taken from suggestions from people (credits).

I liked some of the fancy, delicate feminine names I was getting suggested, because of how much it clashed with Mouse’s image, but I went with Dorothy because of the Wizard of Oz vibes. Also, one of the possible nicknames for Dorothy is Dotty, and that’s cute.

Mouse, because she does kind of give that vibe. Small, slight, nimble, probably roots around in dumpsters. Also, two different people suggested it entirely independently of each other so I KNEW it was a name that fit. Also, she likes mice and thinks they’re badass.

And Locke, because that’s a cool fuckin’ name.

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?

“FUUUCK”

27. If your character was going to get arrested, what would be the most likely reason for it?

I kept putting this ask off because they’re hard lol <3

I’m answering these for my characters Adrian and Dexter!

37: What is your OC’s biggest dream?

Adrian has a dream of owning a ranch someday! Horse girl? More like horse man.

Dexter wants to find the lost city of Atlantis! He figures humans can’t find it because they can’t breathe underwater. He’ll find it someday!

38: How does your OC react to and handle stress?

Adrian is pretty good under stressful situations, despite being scatterbrained most of the time. Things seem to fall into place easily in his mind when in emergency situations.

Dexter, on the other hand, is not. His mind seems to shut down when there’s an stressful situation, and he typically has to get help from someone else if anyone is nearby.

39: How does your OC handle anger?

Adrian doesn’t get angry very easily, but when he does he tends to blow up and act irrationally.

Dexter doesn’t get angry very often either. He’s much better at calming himself and dealing with the situation somewhat more rationally.

40: How does your OC handle grief?

Adrian tends to isolate himself from everyone around him. He generally doesn’t like people seeing him cry. (It’s the toxic masculinity <3)

Dexter... I’m not sure if he’s ever experienced grief, honestly. However, I think he’d binge eat. I really like the concept of him going hunting and ending up eating a whale!

41: What is your OC’s greatest fear?

Adrian’s biggest fear at the moment is that he won’t be successful in, essentially, saving the world. He still doesn’t understand why it’s up to him!

Dexter’s biggest fear is that someone captures him again and forces him into another small tank. He spent too long in a dark basement in a tank that was barely big enough to hold him, and he’s had enough. He much prefers swimming pools and entire bodies of water now!

42: What makes your OC happy?

Adrian enjoys horseback riding, as well as watching various derbies. He’d love to participate in one at some point, but you need your own horse for that! He can’t fit a horse in his tiny apartment. (Ash probably wouldn’t appreciate it much either!)

Dexter likes being surrounded by people that are kind to him - which, thankfully, is a much more common occurrence in his life recently. He’s also rather fond of ice cream!
