“Failed Revolution”

Got an ask about their designs and decided to draw everyone!

Ask and notes on designs under the cut.

B2J: May lost her right arm so she uses a fuzzy sock to keep it warm. She has gained quite a collection of socks. She also cut her hair in solidarity with Zuke who had most of his hair cut off for head surgery, which is where he got the head scar from.

Zuke can’t close his left hand at all because of tendon damage. He also can’t walk long distances without a cane, which he could only afford a pretty cheap one but it gets the job done.

Tatiana/Kliff/West: Not much changes with their designs. Tatiana is just a bit more skinny, Kliff has a few white hairs, and West is a bit more unkempt (I also didn’t want to draw the pattern on his coat so yeah).

West also hasn’t found time to redo his henna tattoos so those are all gone right now. Plus he wears shoes a bit more.

DJSS: Still debating if Nova works for NSR at this moment, but whether they do or don’t, they aren’t dressing to impress anymore. Losing a lot of motivation, he just puts on one of his DJSS jackets that was defective and had no space designs to it (but still looks like his show jacket). His arms are also more noodle-y because he doesn’t try to keep them firm anymore. Space dust seeps out of the small cracks that have yet to be fully healed on his head. Because of this, no color is in their head, but it all seeps outside into the air.

Sayu (and Crew): Sayu is much more simple, both for animation sake and to ease the people of Vinyl City of her roboticness. She is also much smaller when she is out in the real world as a hologram. Tila, Remi, and Dodo all have longer hair (Dodo less so, but it’s still longer). Tila wears a long dress that she puts her jacket from canon over. Remi isn’t out publicly as transmasc yet but he doesn’t wear any kinds of dresses or skirts even though people around him expect him to. Not much changes for Dodo and Sofa except Dodo has a cybernetic voice/neck while Sofa is a bit more skinny because of an eating disorder/forced dieting from family.

Yinu and Mama: (I know it’s out of order, but I wanted to keep Neon+1010 next to each other). No longer are these two wearing any kind of red. Mama wears yellow to represent her keeping Yinu in her heart but also the flower lace shows how delicate their relationship is right now. Yinu on the other hand wears yellow and a full suit to be closer to her dad while avoiding any reds to stay away from her mother. Both of them have rooted hair, with Yinu’s roots being more wilted stems while Mama’s are just full on roots. Yinu still has a few flowers hanging onto her hair, but they lose petals a lot and will one day fully fall off if she doesn’t get some help in her life.

1010 and Neon: 1010 all have the same body with the same while lights. The only difference are the ties they wear and their heads. They have fully metal hair. Blue does not wear any sunglasses. Neon has a human head and does not wear his fluff unless going somewhere that might rain or get a bit chilly. He does not wear his medals, but does wear his wedding ring on a necklace under his sweater. He also doesn’t wear too much colors because he doesn’t see the point in it since he works with a lot of oily/messy machines (it’s easier to take off a jacket than de-oil-stain a sweater).

Eve: Eve still bases a lot of her outfit on Zuke like she originally did, but now she also bases it off of Tatiana. She tries to hide her red/pinkish skin under henna, mirrors, and crystals. She keeps illusion eyes out to help her keep watch of things around her. The peacock feathers and skirt are supposed to kinda look like a wedding dress, or the very least a fancy ball gown, to show she is married to her job (and to the ideas of people she has in her head). Also the glitter/stars on her skirt is mainly to piss off Nova (especially if he quit/was fired) because this is her way of saying she is better than him, as I feel the two’s relationship has gotten sour over the years.

ও Team SAYU Headcanons

They've been best friends for years, but they disagree on how to do things quite often. They normally never fight, though, just disagree and find a different way to go about things that everyone can agree to. This often takes much longer than going through one of their plans would take in the first place, but they get there eventually.

If they all wholeheartedly agree to something, then that means there's major trouble for any adult within their vicinity.

If there's ever trouble, blame Remi. He is completely devious. He is just a mischievous little bugger that is always up to something he shouldn't be and has something up his sleeve. He actively goes around telling people that he's the artist behind Sayu. No one believes him. He finds this hilarious.

Tila doesn't, at all. She has a mini heart attack and goes a mile deep into her sweater whenever he does this. He tries to reassure her that everything's fine, 'cause no one ever takes them seriously. Tila takes everything seriously. Literally, sarcasm isn't exactly her forte. Analogies are, though! Despite how quiet and reserved she normally is, she's extremely quick on the draw in terms of witty responses, then goes right back to her music.

Dodo usually plays this off as a joke and affectionately leans half his body weight on her to let her know it's okay. That, or wraps her up in a major hug and starts going through his stretches while holding her like a weight. He can and Will snatch up any other member and make a break for it at any given opportunity. Outside of him randomly doing laps and exercising, he'll lounge around like a corpse. One or the other, no other options.

Sofa joins in Remi's scandals, because he also finds this hilarious. He'll feed Remi ideas and correct him at times, but only so much as to make sure Remi "does it best." The only times he'll reel Remi in is if he's about to get them all in trouble. Sofa feels that he knows better than Remi, and just lets him think he's the brains of this organization.

Whenever Sofa and Remi get into their "battle of wits" for long enough, Dodo nudges Tila to get her attention. She shrugs off her headphones, listens for about five seconds, then blurts out something that sends the two boys cackling and goes back to whatever she was doing before. Dodo keeps a track record of events like this to see who comes out on top.

Tila always wins.

Click Bait

"Sofa!"

The small ginger man called out in a state of rush. They had an advertising deal and he had to find his big friend. He checked the kitchen, seeing Sofa binging on some chips while scrolling through his phones.

Sofa sensed himself being watched and looked over.

"Oh hey Remi! What's up?" he wondered.

"We have that ad deal we gogta do," Remi grabbed his arms as he explained. He got Sofa to his feet and dragged him to the recording room as Sofa tapped the last few crumbs and salt from the bottom of the bag. "We need to get it done before tomorrow afternoon and we gotta go over the script again, check for bugs, do voice over practice, and work on the movements! We have too much to do to be dillydallying!"

Sofa nodded, now understanding the situation. In the pink padded room, Tila was drinking some juice, adjusting her microphone. Dodo was stretching, getting ready, finishing with hopping in place. "Okay!" Remi announced, everyone gazing at him. "Let's do this one more time! Dodo, watch your footing, Tila stay hydrated, Sofa."

He grabbed a snack cake from the editor's hand. "No snacks until we're done."

"Awww no fun…"

Still, Sofa took his place behind his desk, computer screen turned on and the program ready. Then, without Remi looking, he opened a drawer and took out a few licorice ropes, nibbling on them.

"Tila."

"Ready!" Tila gave a nod, giving what seems to be a thumbs up. Or it could be her flipping him off. It was hard to tell with her long sleeves.

"Dodo."

"Mmhmm," he merely acknowledged the callout. He drank down an energy drink called 'Pastel Pearls.' It was a Sayu branded drink.

"Sofa."

"Yup!" Sofa quickly swallowed his food before talking. He was not going to get caught eating, even though he knew he could sneak in a bon bon every now and then. However… "Um wait…"

Everyone looked in his direction as he looked at his computer screen. He… didn't see Sayu pop up. She usually did when ready for advertising. She loved it! But… his screen was empty and blank. "Sayu… where is Sayu?"

Remi looked at Sofa as if he was eating a shoe and rushed over. There were folders of designs, coding screens on the side, a tap for animes to watch this summer, but… no Sayu.

"Sayu!?"

Remi was a perfectionist. If one line in his drawing was out of place, then it was ruined. He could tear it up, no matter the progress made on it. So Sayu not showing up was like the world was ending. "Are you kidding me!? Is she sick!? Hurt!? What's going on!?"

"I'll send her a message," Sofa offered. He opened a notepad, added some coding, then typed. 'Hey Sayu! :3 Remi is kiiiinda freaking out :O Where are you? Are you hurt? <:( Please let us know (that was supposed to be sad eyebrows, not a hat)'

He waited, Remi clutching his chair. It had taken fair abuse from Remi's stress, from being squeezed until chunks were missing to being thrown against the wall from many many many coding errors. Then, a text was sent back.

'I'm not doing the ad'

"What!?" Remi clutched his hair, threatening to rip it out of his scalp. Tila quickly ran over and gently held his hands, then looked at Dodo.

"Dodo?"

He came over and offered his arm, Remi squeezing it, fingernails digging into his skin.

"Huh? Maybe she's sick…" Sofa thought. But then Sayu appeared on the screen. She had a pout on her face, arms crossed and a glare in her eye. Well, half a glare. She was too cute to be scary.

"I don't wanna!" she grunted.

"Why not?" Tila asked. "Are you sick?"

"Nu uh! I just don't wanna!"

"Are you hurt?" Dodo winced, Remi still squeezing the life out of his arm.

"No! I just don't wanna!"

"Why…!?" Sofa begged to know. She only puffed her cheeks and turned away, sticking her nose up. Sofa tried calling her, but she didn't respond. He used his mouse to click on her, but when that got a giggle from the little mermaid… he smiled.

"Now Sayu… if you can't think of a reason to tell us, I can't think of a reason to not tickle you," he pointed out with glee. The others matched his face, Remi even loosening his grip. Sofa dug into his desk and got out three more mice, distributing them among his friends.

"N-no you can't! I-I'm not ticklish! You can't get me if I'm not ticklish! Can you!?"

"Not ticklish?" Dodo sneered. "Well why are you scared if you're not ticklish? Surely, you shouldn't be afraid."

"Yeah! If you're not, then you know this will end very quickly!" Tila giggled.

"Or you could tell us what's going on," Remi added. But when she didn't react to that with nothing but a huff, they knew what had to be done.

Dodo moved his mouth first to get to the end of her tail, clicking it rapidly. She breathed in with a gasp, but held her breath. 

Sofa chuckled softly and ran his mouse over her belly, clicking and holding it, making it feel like a finger being dragged across her skin.

"EEEEE!!!! Noohohohooo! Staahahahaap!!!" she wiggled in place.

"Oh! So you ARE ticklish!" Remi snickered. He used his mouth to tickle her neck all around. She tried to grab it to make it stop, but he kept moving it. Neck, sides, armpits, neck, cheek, belly, sides, all random order. She couldn't keep up.

Tila was the last to tickle her, but she held up one of Sayu's arms, smiling at Sofa. He grinned back and scrolled up and down her sides, up to her armpit and down to her hip. This created a bubbly squeal from her lips, trying to use her free arm to wave off the mice. But Dodo grabbed her other hand and held it up, Remi enjoying exploring her other side. Now she was more vulnerable than before.

"Staaaahaahahahahaahaaaaap!!! Pleeheeheeheeheease!!! T-too-eeheeheeheee!!! Too muhuhuhuhuch!! T-t-teeheheeheeeckles!! Teeheheeheeckles!!!"

"Mm campaign on calling tickles teeheeckles? Say aye," Dodo smiled with a devious look in his eyes. This would only fluster Sayu further.

"Aye," Tila nodded.

"Aye," Sofa agreed.

"Aye!" Remi piped up.

"Nuuhuuhuuhuu!!" Sayu was the only one who disagreed, but they knew they would do it anyway.

They poked and clicked at random places, getting different reactions from her. Sides? She screamed out in wheezy spurts. Ribs? She jolted at every rib ribbed. Belly? She almost melted into the touch, but still pretended to shy away, but she was no actor.

The best spot they liked to tease was her back. She would gasp and scream, bending backwards, making her belly exposed. This caused one of them to tickle her belly in circles. This made her jolt forward, but then the same person got into her back. She would flop around like a fish at this point.

"You have such an angelic laughter, Sayu," Remi beamed.

She could only snort.

"Such a bubbly sound!" Tila added.

She squealed and blushed.

"Adorable fishy squirmies…!" Sofa piped in.

She could only squirm more, as if answering his comment.

"And the cutest mermaid we've ever known."

"OKAAHAHAHAHAY!!! OKAY I'M BEHEHEHEHEHETTER!!! I'M BETTER!!! PLEEHEEHEEHEEHEEASE!!!"

They all looked at each other, nodding respectfully and stopping. She curled in a heap of giggly madness.

"Heh we'll let you rest, Sayu," Remi told her. "I should call the studio and tell them we'll have to put back the date."

"Oh thank god!" Sofa breathed a sigh of relief. He took out some snack cakes and crammed them into his mouth.

"Hey lemme have one!" Tila gasped. He ran off with his arms full, Tila bolting after him. Dodo followed, his legs hurting from standing so long.

"Y-you… you don't want to know what's wrong…?" she asked Remi before he left. He could only grin and boop her nose with the mouse.

"Nah… I know you get like this sometimes. It happens every week," he told her.

"... Oh…" she looked away, ashamed. But he quickly put a smile on her face by poking her belly.

"Hey I still love you…!" he assured her. "You're my creation… my daughter even! No matter what, you'll always by my Sayu."

With a giggle subsiding, a bright smile took over her face as she hugged the mouse.

"Thanks… dad," her eyes sparkled with tears of happiness.

"Of course, my fishy."

NSR AU for Welcome Home. Check it-

I Don't have everyone down, but i can tell you for sure that:

• Poppy will be taking Yinu's placing, maybe as the mother and a child is a little chick, i'm still considering it

• Mayday and Zuke are replaced by Y/N, but.. A Y and an N. Maybe they'll be twins instead of the whole best buds? I'm unsure of this, but hmhm-

• Barnaby is DK West, good friend to Wally, likely goes by BB Beagle

• Howdy will take the place as DJ Zam since it feels the most fitting based off of the canon voice, besides i don't think there is much of an actual shop?

• Julie and her family ars actually Dodo, Remi, Sofa, and Tila! They just happened to make it based off of Julie herself since she was the friendliest face out of all four of them.

On the other hand, so far i do have a few of the others planned out, and i will likely be doing a full in depth drawing for everyone soon..

I'm thinking along the lines of the Game, and that Vinyl City is actually Vinyl Neighborhood (even if it is still a bit large)

Home is bitter towards Wally, but he really doesn't understand why. It's basically the same between them as it is Tatiana and Kliff themselves. (THE FACT THAT TATIANA CALLS KLIFF A PIECE OF PLA K FEELS SO FITTING FOR THIS PLEASE)

Barnaby will be a good friend of Wally, of course, and Wally will still desire order like Tatiana, but it was likely because the entirety of NSR in this universe had been together, but stress got to Wally, Sally let her dramatic attitude take over, and pretty much everyone just.. Had a big fall out. They still struggle to power the city, and it may be because someone is tampering with Wally's life even further after all was said and done.

Anyhow, this will take some more time to fix together

BIG ASS LIST OF FSAMILY HCS GO

Mayday

Has a mom, dad, and two younger sisters. She grew up in Natura in a pretty high-up family, dad is a finance worker in the nsr building and mom is part of the Natura management. They were quite strict, only showing their support for rock when it was more stable in vinyl city, but now prefer her sisters' enjoyment for EDM. As she got older, she clashed with them, and eventually left their home when she dropped out of college. She hasn't spoken to them, but does talk to her sisters.

Zuke

Has a Mom and Dad, with west obviously. He isn't from vinyl city, but a kampung on the outskirts, though it still was under nsr's domain. His kampung (and many others) faced the worst of the blackouts because of their distance from the city and their limited resources, so everyone there is a bit weary of nsr. His family is quite large, and they all have shadow puppets. His mom is a second-generation jamacian immigrant.

DJSS //tw toxic parent

Raised by a single mom. His whole childhood, she would lecture him about him mattering in the world and making great art to make her proud. She essentially only praised him when he made very impressive music, and was ashamed of him when he quit his teaching career. She has recently remarried, has a wife now.

Sayu kids

keeping it simple bc there's so many of them Tila has a single dad and three older sisters, remi is an only child with a mom and dad, Dodo is a single child with a single mom (taken from a friennd mwahaha), and sofa has a mom and dad, and older brother.

Yinu

We know who her parents are, so grandparents. Yinu's mom has 4 older sisters, and the whole family are plant people. Mama's mother is dominican, and her father is malay. Yinu's dad, on the other hand, has a younger sister and was mainly raised by his mother and mystery man. His father was a fauna person (wereanimal), his mother was a plant person. his dad is mexican and his mom is dominican-malay. (Taken from a friend mwahahaha)

Neon J

He had a single mom and littler sister. Growing up, he was the self-appointed man of the house (though he was born a girl), which contributed to his heroic tendencies. Learned to make toys to comfort his sister. He hasn't seen her or their mother in decades, and he doesn't know where they are.

Eve //toxic parent, ableism

Grew up relatively rich with a mom and dad. Her dad was laid-back and tried his best to understand his daughter, her mom, not so much. Very much a pro-masking parent, "why can't you be normal" type mom. She was also the one that instilled her skin dysmorphia as a teen. Currently, she is in contact with her father, but her mother is trying to leech off her newfound popularity. (Taken from a friend, with some of my own hcs)

Tatiana

Mystery Man is her twin brother. She often rebelled against their parents, especially when they would force her to be girlier and discourage her interest in rock and metal (Taken from a friend). Their mother was made of opal, and their father was obsidian. Mystery man himself is made of sedimentary rock.

is this too niche? maybe. does anyone think about this game anymore? probably! but not often perhaps.. is this self indulgent..? absolutely. I hope others enjoy this as well! Headcanons below the cut! 🌟

OTHER NSR CG HCS: [💚🖥️ Neon J cg heacanons]

Ok just to get this out of the way first: If DJSS is your caregiver, you are 100% getting a space themed bedroom/playroom, wardrobe, toys, etc. So if you’re a kiddo with a special interest in astronomy, congrats! This may just be your dream come true!

Though even if your special interests don’t fall within that area, he’d still be encouraging regardless. Would engage with you about said interests if they fell outside of his range of knowledge by asking you thoughtful questions that allow you to info dump to your heart's content!

Would even buy you books about your interest! Both adult non-fiction and for smaller kiddos just so he has all things covered depending on what headspace you’re in at any given time. He overall just wants to encourage your pursuit of knowledge!

If you don’t know much about what he specializes in and are interested, he’d absolutely love to teach you about the cosmos and everything it encompasses! Though, he might have a hard time at first altering his lectures so they’re digestible enough for you to understand regardless of headspace. But with time he gets better…!

Would absolutely take you stargazing often. The night sky provides him with so much comfort, and he wants to share that with you (because he cares about you, and also because I personally think it’d be a love language for him in a way). He’d teach you how to use a telescope, measure the sky with your hands, the constellations, all that fun stuff!

Speaking of his love languages, he may even compose his own lullaby for you and you alone to listen to! The ultimate gesture from him imo..

Affectionate in both actions and words! Loves sitting you on his lap and wrapping his big ol’ arms around you. His size provides security and comfort like a weighted blanket in my opinion…! Gives you head pats, back rubs, and bonks his spherical head against your forehead (no lips…) I feel like he’d also love to cradle you in his big arms if that’s something you’re comfortable with!

He uses so many space themed nicknames for you, and tries to remind you often that you’re so very special to him..that you’re practically the center of his universe 💙

He’d read to you before bed, his voice is practically on par with a documentary narrator so it’s probably a 50/50 chance you’d be out like a light in no-time. While he prefers to read to you before bed…there may be the rare occasion he’ll sing to you as well, but he’d also do it if you requested it of him.

When he’s busy with his music and can’t really focus too much on you at that moment, he’d still have you sit in his lap or even let you sit on like a beanbag near his desk so you at least have the comfort of knowing he’s nearby in case you get lonely easily!

The snacks he feeds you range from ✨effort-filled, healthy and nourishing✨ to oh my god there’s how much sugar in one serving?! He’d be a little protective of his Mr. Dodo ice pops but….if you give him The Puppy Eyes™, he may allow you to have one but just this once…! (this will happen more than once and he will relent nearly every single time)

He tries to be a pillar of stability and help ground you when you need it as much as you help pull him back down to earth when he’s feeling overwhelmed or depressed. You make life on this dull planet all the more special for him and any articulate words he could use to express this to you just wouldn’t cut it!

NSR The Creatures of Vinyl City

Just going to show you a recap of my first No Straight Roads AU from my old account. It is called The Creatures of Vinyl City. It is an au where everything is the same, but the scenery changes to a Cryptidcore aesthetic and shout out to @sundove88 for helping out with this one, soooo enjoy!

AU Synposis: “In Vinyl City, Humans and Cryptids used to live together in harmony...until the greedy Tatiana started capturing them for her own gain. Can Mayday and Zuke restore this ancient bond before the fate of Vinyl City changes forever?”

(Reader is 10 years old)

Being the brightest star of his eyes.

Having a stellar related name, like Polaris, Cassiopeia, Andromeda or Stella.

He sees everyone as simpletons but him and you.

He had you by "accident": he was just freshly graduated doctor in astronomy and worked as a researcher and teacher at the university. He had the habit of drinking coffee in a little café near the university and grown close to one of the waitress. One thing leading to another, she became pregnant and Nova decided to marry her and have you.

He was very happy when you came into this world. You were perfect, his little girl, his shinning star. What worried him was that you mother didn't seemed to share his happiness, but he thought that she was just tired, and anxious about being a mother.

The following year shows him that it was more than that.

You mother had to quit her job to take care of you, but she just gave you the minimum of attention. She took care of you without love or care. She would let you cry when you cry for love and attention, only focusing on her daily life.

Nova and your mother often fight about that. He is tired of her complains about you being a noisy and insufferable child, while with your father, who took care of you and gave you all his love, you were an angel.

Nova was scared and worried that one day, after returning from work, he'll found you sick, hurt or worse, because of your mother's negligence.

One day, he had enough and asked for a divorce.

He wanted to have the full custody and your mother happily gave him without a second thought and leave your life and your father's forever.

Nova was relived that you were now in safe hands, but sad that you mother didn't loved you and that you'll grow up without one.

The seven years that followed those events were happy and peaceful for the two of you.

Since he didn't trust anyone to babysit you, he took you to his job.

You were a quiet and nice child, so his superiors were ok with your presence here. They even saw that Nova was more focused than before.

Your bedtimes stories were books about the solar system and space explained to children, or your father's explanations on astronomy.

When you were 5 years old, you stared to "help" him prepare his classes.

Aka making little drawing to schematize his class.

(He implanted some of them as little funny doddles in his power point, he was just so proud of you)

You attended to all his classes, listening to him explaining quantum science and black holes.

You were homeschooled by your father, so you are quite in advance compared to other 8 years old, plus your father's classes. His students were quite ashamed that a 8 years old better understand quantum physic than them.

The fact that they recognized your handwriting on some of their corrected copy make it worse.

After work, he will buy Mister Dodo popsicle for both him and you, while you walk the way home, watching the starry sky.

You were exited when your father said that you two will move out to Vinyl City and that he'll become a DJ.

At Vinyl City, you go to school instead of being homeschooled.

When your dad signed a contract with NSR, your living conditions skyrocketed.

He likes to spoil you with the newest technology, you always have the latest high-tech thing in your home.

Every time you get scared or are sad, he hug you. You always feel safe in his big arms.

When he goes to NSR meetings, you come with him (if you don't have school of course).

Tatiana likes you, you're smart, polite, disciplined, and your joyful personality isn't a problem to handle.

While your dad is at the meeting, you play with the other artists' children.

You all form a gang of friends, sticking for each other.

After the meeting, you both get Mister Dodo popsicle and goes to the best place in Vinyl City to watch the stars.

You often get tired and fall asleep after a long session of star gazing with comments about space.

Seeing you sleeping peacefully made him warm inside.

He's happy that he was able to offert you this life.

In general, I think they're all like one big family, so if there isn't an explicit line between them, assume that their relationship is neutral to positive. Simplified list + some explanation under the cut if I thought the chart wasn't sufficient.

Note: In this chart, White represents 1010 as a group unless otherwise stated.

1010

Has a brother-sister dynamic with Yinu. (They're instinctively kind to all children, but since she's also NSR staff, they treat her extra nicely.)

Has a complicated relationship with Neon J. (See the 1010 expanded chart.)

Trades dance inspo with Dodo.

Tila finds them all attractive, but would not pursue any of them romantically. (Since Tila is a minor, they don't actively flirt with her, but 1010's "charm effect" is strong and passive, so she still developed a little infatuation with them, though neither party would seriously pursue the other.)

DJSS

Surprisingly good friends with Eve. (They relate a lot to each other's emotional shortcomings and have bonded over it. Due to her influence, he's developed a small appreciation for art when he previously found it a pointless endeavor in the face of inevitable oblivion.)

Refuses to ever talk down to Yinu. (He believes Yinu has suffered more than enough for someone her age, so he doesn't feel the need to crush her dreams further. That's what he says, but...)

Fears Mama more than his own existential dread. (He also fears Mama's retribution.)

Eve

Basically family with Tatiana. (Post revolution, their relationship has improved dramatically. While Tatiana still struggles to be vulnerable and emotionally open, and Eve is still growing out of her codependency, they've formed a more genuine bond)

Is a part of the "Tatiana Simp Squad" with Neon J. (See the Mixed Group chart for more info.)

Surprisingly good friends with DJSS. (They relate a lot to each other's emotional shortcomings and have bonded over it. Due to his influence, she has slowly developed more rational modes of thought rather than letting her emotions spiral to the worst possible outcome at any given moment.)

Mama

Is feared by DJSS.

Is still protective of Yinu, but is trying to loosen up. (While she's still cautious of leaving her alone, she generally trusts NSR staff enough to let Yinu be alone with them, as long as they're all nearby. Otherwise, Mama is always with Yinu.)

Neon J.

Has a complicated relationship with 1010. (See the 1010 expanded chart.)

Rivals to lovers to rivals to lovers to rivals to… with DJSS.

Yinu doesn't trust him. (She suspects that Neon J. is involved in the disappearance of the original 1010.)

Is a part of the "Tatiana Simp Squad" with Eve. (See the Mixed Group chart for more info.)

Remi owes him a favor. (No one knows how Remi came into Neon J.'s debt, but whatever it was has made it difficult for him to refuse any of Neon J.'s requests (which are luckily benign in nature)).

"Aunty Tati". (Tatiana is close enough to Yinu's family to practically be a godmother to Yinu. Tatiana tries to take off as much pressure as she can from Yinu, but even Tatiana can only do so much to protect her from the ills of being a child star.)

Yinu

"Aunty Tati". (Tatiana is close enough to Yinu's family to practically be a godmother to Yinu. She is also one of the few NSR members that knew that Tatiana used to be a guitarist since it slipped once during conversation, but she didn't know that Tatiana used to be a rock star.)

Has a brother-sister dynamic with 1010. (As long as they're not busy, they're Yinu's go-to babysitters.)

DJSS refuses to be mean to her. (Because of this and to the frustration of everyone else, she thinks of DJSS as a really nice person.)

Mama is very protective of her. (Yinu loves her Mama more than anything else in the world, and she wishes that Mama wouldn't push herself so hard. She tries her best to not cause Mama any grief, but she still tends to wander into trouble.)

She doesn't trust Neon J. (Because...)

She knew a previous 1010 model, and misses him. (Yinu was acquainted with an MKI 1010 very early in her career with NSR. However, as the MKI was retired shortly afterwards, she never got to see him again. The circumstances around his sudden retirement has made Yinu suspicious of Jay, but they still treat each other with respect and Jay himself is just as protective of her as he is the rest of the NSR staff.

Sayu Crew Friendship Circle

They're all best friends that can count on each other for almost anything.

In their downtime, they still hang out a lot together.

Dodo

Met Remi through their school's anime club.

Supports Tila's pursuit of Remi, but hasn't had much success in pushing them together.

Trades dance inspo with 1010.

Remi

Met Dodo through their school's anime club.

Acts clueless, but the feelings are mutual. (He's a little scared of changing his relationship with Tila and worries that it would get in the way of working on Sayu. To this end, he's masterfully learned how to dodge the question.)

Owes Neon J. a favor. (No one knows how Remi came into Neon J.'s debt, but whatever it was has made it difficult for him to refuse any of Neon J.'s requests (which are luckily benign in nature)).

Sofa

Was originally hired help, but has developed a genuine friendship with the others. (Sofa is a good few years older than the rest of the crew, and was hired for his editing skills after he found some interest in the project. It's not on the chart, but he'll sometimes have friction with Remi due to clashing visions, but their friendship usually wins out in the end.)

Supports Tila's pursuit of Remi, but hasn't had much success in pushing them together.

Tila

Has a crush on Remi. (It hasn't fully developed, so she hasn't seriously pursued him yet and questions about it fluster her. However, it's clear to everyone that she has feelings for him.)

She finds the 1010s attractive, but wouldn't pursue them romantically. (Despite working with them frequently, she's yet to develop a resistance to their charm effect. She has a preference for the Blue one.)
