Okay but in all seriousness, i have completed two references and also made more concept designs for some others, heh-

So for now, we look to the references, because up first. The man himself.

Tatiana Darling? Wally Qwartz? Idk. But I can say thay he is hot stu-[BOOING CHORUS]

Up next, Neon Frank and his bot boys!

I will say that the bots do likely have 'human' forms, but I didn't feel too bothered at the time to worry about it, besides, Frank's in the spotlight, who really cares? (Some may and I'm looking at you with understanding eyes)

DJ Howdy Pillar! Just a local radio show host looking to get local bands' voices heard even if they're all starting out small!

Since there is no actual shop in game, and the fact DJ Zam is an actually pretty prominent NPC (plus funny canon voice for Howdy), who else but Howdy for Zam's place? Welcome to Howdy MD people! :)

Let me just say that B.B. Beagle and Tatiana Darling (still dunno) are still very much good friends, even despite the large age gap. To Wally, it feels like.. It feels like he knows Barnaby, but on a deeper level, like they were old friends somehow, and they were reunited.. His jokes make him laugh as if the man knew exactly what made him tick.

Weird...

Though, dogs are trult man's best friend

And one more design (which is definitely very subject to change [to make look softer and more accurate to a youngling])

Poppy!

Now, I still have yet to truly figure out what is going on, but I will say Poppy is definitely very much the youngest in this AU, and unlike in most other places, she is not the mother figure, she is loved ever so gently by the rest (shown by the way Frank loathes your name for having destroyed her piano. The way it tears are the heart strings of onlookers to see her precious instrument shatter, the shards scattered wildly upon the floor of the stage.

How cruel of you. She's only 9..

Bonus obligatory Howdy Bean based off of Cofi's lil beans🥺🥺 I had to, it was legally required by law or else I'd be sniped on sight

But anyhow, I suppose this concludes the update. Sooo, I tried to draw the Neon J. and 1010s from my Swap AU...but since this is the first time I have ever tried to draw them, I kinda struggled 😅 (specially with the 1010s 😟💦)

If you wonder who they swap with, well...in short, they swap with Yinu and Mama (I tried to come up with a better combination but nothin really worked out for me 😥). So yeah, they swap *places* and *personalities* too, but they don't change music genre so, yeah: 1010s are still a boy band under Neon J. management (they just loose the military aspect to it).

In this Au, the boys are more friendly than actually flirty (well...most of the time at least 😅), they are proud of their performance and are determined to show Zuke the brilliance of it (...though he doesn't even want to see it, like, at all 🤣).

Neon J. acts as a calmer version of himself who watches the show from afar...but the moment one of his sons is severely injured, he seems to lost his mind and steps up to the fight, forcefully initiating the *Protection Protocol* on his sons to harm the intruders.

I would like to write a one-shot detailing the origin story of this Neon J. and 1010s, so...are you guys interested in it??? 🤔🤔🤔

Don't call it strange if a Techno-Organic Caterpillar had a bad dream

So, this is based on this post from my old account.

Looks like little Haym Caterpillar had a little bad dream, which has gotten attention from Neon J. The Cyborg Mothman, and he comforts his innocent son, telling him that it is just a bad dream. And yes, the 1010 Caterpillars are here during the situation, they are just short. And this is where we see Haym's Electric Cuteness for the first time, and it is not going to be the last after his metamorphosis era.

Ficlet time for the No Gem Roads AU! AU by @vinylroadsjunction This time about…

Leschenaultia or otherwise known as “First Love’s Grass” in Japanese!

Leschenaultia: Yinu and her family

(Note: Mama and Papa’s personalities… are… wildly HCs here...)

Without further ado, enjoy!

It is evening. The moon shines down on you as you make your way home. Alone, not that you ever minded the existential dread that comes with it. No matter how many times you come to the view of the Natura district, it is spectacular. The paved roads, the splendid houses, the fountains, the flower shops... you could go on!

If it weren't for the explosions that occurred just a few hours ago. The paved road was slightly damaged, with cracks all over. One fountain was leaking, water trickling down the basin. Must get Timmy to help you fix everything, you note.

It is already rumored to be the fault of the new-fangled Rock duo, Bunk Bed Junciton. You never had an affinity for rock, but you appreciated how much sheer energy they brought to Vinyl City.

Then you notice a child that will change your life.

You realize the child is lost. All dirty. With scrapes all over their body. And without their parent. In the middle of the city.

But most of all, you know that look in a child's eyes. That red, messy sobby eyes.

You are a busy man. You understand that. Still, you bend down to greet the child.

"Do you need any help?"

The child, wearing strange blue robes, flinches. Then she dashes away.

"No no! I will not hurt you!" Although running after a child who is clearly afraid of you is illogical, you do so anyways.

Pitter patter!

After running down the hill marked with buildings oh so familiar to you, the tiny footsteps come to a halt.

The glowing light makes the child glow in almost an angelic manner.

"Please... I need help! I'm lost... and I need my Red Coral!"

The child's already large eyes widen, desperate for any sort of kindness. Hopefully.

"Who is this 'Red Coral?'" People nowadays have such strange names. Not that you mind, of course.

The child gasps and covers their mouth as if they'd said something wrong. But their eyes go back to a neutral state as they continued.

"Red Coral and I came here for an important job. I can't tell you what it is but- we lost. And now Red- Red Coral is gone!"

Whoever this Red Coral is, that person is quite important to this child. Which only means-

“I will help you find them. Can you tell me what they look like?”

"Ummm... tall. Golden eyes. Gem on the back of her head. Long hair head. A dress! Blue like mine!"

Gem? Like the gem monsters that surround this city? But if she is... sentient like the child in front of you, how?

"Let's set off. Take my hand. You might get lost."

The child hesitates for a split second but listens. You feel the small hand, cold, in yours. Making sure you don't accidentally squish it, you hold it tenderly.

"Now... where could she be?"

The artificial lights of the district brighten the road you two walk on. It casts a shadow of two people. One tall, one short. Just like a father and his child. No. This child will find this Red Coral, and they'd leave. Like they always do.

You were passing by the flower shop when they gasped.

"Did you spot her?"

"No... but I found something! Are those- flowers? Actual flowers?"

This child is surprised about seeing flowers. Not to be judgemental... but how odd.

"Yes. They are roses. Do you want some?"

"May I?"

You walk to the cashier and ask for the yellow and red rose bouquet. Adorned with blue flowers on the sides. He happily places the beautiful thing on the other hand once you pay and tips him.

"Always come back! Maybe this time bring someone... important, okay?" He flashed a cheeky grin.

"I'm not looking for dates! I'm going to give it to this child!" you tell him as you give the flower bouquet to the child.

"I'll gift you these."

The child lets out a smile, for the first time. It looks precious. Especially the way she had dimples. Then the smile faded.

"I can have them? But I didn't deserve this... I haven't done anything to do so."

"People always deserve flowers. Especially for those who are feeling...blue." You say, pointing at the child's outfit.

It earned you another small smile, so it's worth it.

You wave goodbye to the flower shop employee. As you walk hand in hand, you meet Amal.

Like always, he was on all fours, while wearing his blue unicorn outfit.

"Amal... I know you are a unicorn right now, but we need help. Have you seen a woman in a blue dress, with golden eyes, and-"

"Red." The child cuts in while still admiring the bouquet.

"..."

"Amal, please. No horsing around now!" You said another pun.

"Yeah. I kinda think she went to Metro Division. Looked like she was really searching for something."

"That's her! Thank you, Amal!" The child suddenly perked up.

You had to get there fast. Metro Division was much larger and more... chaotic than here, so it would take much.

"Is it okay if I pick you up? A piggyback?"

"What's that?" This child also doesn't understand piggybacks.

"It is when a person picks up another person... and puts them on their shoulder!"

The child let out an excited breath but flinched again. "I'm not that high ranking!" Even more strange words.

"You are my first priority now! Besides, we must get you to the Divison."

"... okay."

Your back may hurt for a while, but this was worth it.

You pick the child up. Surprisingly light.

As you feel the breeze run through your hair, you run past that flower shop, across the bridge, and enter the bask of the bright Neon lights of Metro Division. Not as bright as before, but still. Quite fancy.

Then you spot her.

As the child (wonder what their name is) suddenly yells for her, she looks back. The broken carousel makes a stark contrast between her blue dress.

Red Coral has sparkling golden eyes. The world glimmers in those eyes as she lunges toward you and the child.

"DID YOU KIDNAP MY GOLDEN CORAL? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!"

Her eyes pierce through you.

She had a beautiful voice, too.

The child jumps down from your shoulder and stands between you and her, arms wide open as if to protect you.

"No! Red, he helped me find you! He- gave me this, too."

The child, no, Golden Coral, hands Red the bouquet.

"What?" Now with an astonished look, she gingerly takes the bouquet. She turns it around and examines it.

"Actual flowers?" Once again, an odd response.

"Yes!"

Her look melts, as she kneels down to meet your gaze.

"I am deeply sorry for my past words. And I must thank you for helping me unite with my protege." Now she looked mortified by her past action, eyes glistening.

You let out an assuring smile. "No worries! I would be scared too if I was lost in another place and separated from my family! Do you have a place to stay?"

"... no."

"If so, I can invite you to my house. We have more flowers. And a roof over our heads."

Golden Coral tugs at Red's skirt. "We can see more flowers? We should go, Red!"

Red Coral lets out the sweetest smile known to humankind. "If you insist. Then I must accept such an offer."

Whatever happens with these two from now on, you were going to be involved too. And something told you, it was going to be big.

But this was going to be a good big change.

The Neon lights shined down on you and the Corals. It made the two look as if they were glowing more under it.

You take a deep breath. Time to introduce yourself to them. "Nice to meet you. My name is-"

To elaborate even further on Burning Constellation being villains in an NSR x Spiderverse theme, I decided to make my OFA Artists villains as well :3

Since Burning Constellation is a group of villains relating to Spider-Man, the OFA Rockstars will be other Marvel related Villains. And because I love my friend @erigold13261 NSRxSpiderversexPsychonauts universe they got going on rn, I’m thinking the this group of Villains are not just gonna target NSR for the funnies.

Altogether they are called L.O.V.E aka the League of Villains Extraordinaire and their main goal is to fulfill their own devious desires whether that be world domination or obtaining the most darkest of secrets.

Henrick is Loki (they’re both very silly) and took on his villain name due to his love for Norse Mythology. Since he wanted to cause some drama due to boredom, Henrick followed Burning Constellation once they turned against NSR.

Rosie is Madame Hydra (both rose to their positions of power very quickly) due to her being the Beloved Idol of Vinyl City no one could ever suspect Rosie of being a villain up until she defected with her fellow OFA Artists. Because of her powerful influence, her many fans joined her along with her friends and swore their allegiance to her, becoming her own personal Hydra Army.

Prince Astral is Doctor Doom (they’re both royalty since Astral is a Prince while Doom is a monarch) he honestly didn’t want to be a villain but due to everyone in Vinyl City being suspicious of him he eventually snapped and joined his older sister Orion/Black Cat after she and her friends betrayed NSR.

CAL is Ultron (because it literally fits LMAO) and due to being a sentient AI he goes from floating tablet to controlling a very dangerous robot/weapon that can control all forms of technology. CAL was initially created to be an NSR Artist to help with power output but once Burning Constellation betrayed and defected from NSR, CAL followed suit to go with his creator Orion/Black Cat.

Jodie is Gambit (both know combat) and was the last to join L.O.V.E but after a huge argument that resulted in him getting disowned by his parents, Jodie decided to officially defect and joined the villains as a means to get revenge on those who wronged him.

And that’s the L.O.V.E villains who are gonna be going around and causing trouble for everyone, including Spider heroes, NSR Artists, the Psychonauts, civilians, rich people, etc. Can they be stopped?

NSR: SOUL EATER AU 🌜

Ever since I saw a Soul Eater AU fanart made by @Anger-ey...I couldn't stop thinking about it 😅 So I tried to come up with what would the NSR characters would be in such an AU!! (P.S: Its been a little while since I last saw Soul Eater, so if there's any mistake you find, please take that into account 🙏)

Mayday-weapon, freshmen at the academy. Since the very beginning gave her teachers and potential partners a headache, thankfully, now that is partnered with Zuke is not as dangerous...most of the time. Looks up to Kul Fyra and that's why she decided to enroll in Shibusen ever since she discovered her powers as a weapon. Decided by herself to partner up with Zuke ever since they first met and eventually, managed to convinced him. Though it may seem cliché, her weapon form is a bright red scythe.

Zuke-meister, on his last years at the academy. Sometimes his friends make fun of him for now having a younger partner. During his first year and a few more, he was partnered with EvE, but they fell apart after a certain *incident* while fighting a witch with fire powers. Spent a long while without partner until May came to his life like a storm. Since its known for being a very balanced and serene meister, sometimes teachers ask him to help in demonstration and classes for freshmen students; coincidentally, that's where he met May.

DJSS-weapon, and a very, very powerful one indeed. But much like Excalibur, he is just too picky and too much to handle for anyone. That's why doesn't have a partner at all. Teacher at Shibusen, but not really that excited about his job. his weapon form is a staff with a disk at the end which can control space.

Sayu-witch, and oddly enough, a friendly one. Lives in a small town cheering the villagers with her songs and taking care of a little group of orphans (a.k.a Sayu's team). Only wants to make people happy and spread love around the world; because of that, is really despised by the other witches. Mayday and Zuke try to hunt her but end up sparing her after noticing how important she is to the villagers. Fish motive witch and water powers, still pretty much like a mermaid.

DK West-weapon, to everyone's surprise. Is not affiliated with the Shibusen because he just wants to wander around the world freely, still, if they really need him, would gladly lend a hand. Though he is not really picky about his meister, his life style, carefree personality and flirty demeanor has made a lot of people deny a possible partnership. his weapon form is a shadow lantern which controls and attacks by shadow puppets.

Yinu-weapon/human hybrid. Still too young to be taken into missions but her potential has already been acknowledged by the academy. has regulars check ups about her condition and powers because her mother fears it may be too much for her, specially at such a young age.

Mama-weapon, but no longer on duty. During her young days was so powerful that many mistook her as a witch. her husband was her meister and the only partner she ever had. Currently a teacher at Shibusen while training and taking care of her only daughter. her weapon form are strings that can grow thorns and even control the nature around the battlefield. her powers where kind of unstable during her younger years, and that along with the false rumor that she was a witch made it really difficult to find a partner...until she met Papa, of course.

Neon J-meister (still a cyborg though). Teacher at Shibusen and one of the oldest members among them. has experienced the war against witches since practically the beginning. Lost his old partner and most of his body in a battle against a powerful witch. Made the 1010s as a project to be able to fight against witches even if the academy loses all their weapons/death scythes available.

1010-all weapons, all pistols of different powers. What not many know is that they are *artificial* weapons, created by none other than the well known Neon J. Very known and loved around the female population at the academy. Since they are all weapons under Neon J's command, they sometimes take the role of teachers aids and even act like a disciplinary committee to the students.

EvE-weapon, which has conflicted her ever since birth. Used to be Zuke's partner but due to certain *problems* between them and circumstances, they fell apart. Still a student, but over a higher rank than others since she is under the direct command of Tatiana. her weapon form is a mirror which alters the senses of the enemy and can create color living nightmares out of their minds.

Tatiana-weapon, Death Scythe to be more specific. Teacher of high rank at Shibusen. Devoted to justice and order at all cost since she lost her meister to the madness. Tries to maintain all about her past, old *name* and the identity of her last partner a secret, specially to the students. Mayday has given her quite the headaches since she came to the academy, even though these has lessened since she has partner up with Zuke...they have in fact not ended at all. her weapon form is a fire power spear pretty similar to clock hands.

Despite Everything (More Fics!)

So @the-cecilia-egg has been cooking some amazing No Gem Roads AU Fics that I recently managed to discover. So based on one of the fics, Kimberlite, I decided to write my own. As always, OG AU is by @vinylroadsjunction!

(Note: to understand the full context of the fic, you also might want to read Monster Reunited by yours truly! Shameless fic plugging)

The green mantis wandered. It knew it had to find, find, find. Something? Someone? Somewhere? A ship. Gems. Find. Find. Find. Commander. Troops. Starlight. No. They were gone. They left. They left?

In a forest, it found two gems together. Red and yellow. Like his troops. Vines. Earth plants covered them. Not like his troops. Not them. Not them.

Near the ocean, it found five gems. They were in a cave. One floated towards it. The other gem caught it before it got too close. Five? Familiar. But no ship. Not them. Not them.

It also found many gems in the humans place. The humans were bad news. They threw rocks at it whenever they came close. But those gems. Humans babbled towards them. They did not fight. Not them. Not them.

“Corals, Akoya Pearl. You will fight for the legacy of her luminous Pink Diamond’s legacy, for revenge!”

“Yes, Kimberlite.”

“I understand how this is not part of your usual mission. However, after her luminous Pink Diamond got shattered, we must get as much gems deployed to end the Crystal Gems once and for all!”

“Yes Kimberlite.”

“I am sorry how this war is involving you.”

“Aren’t you Homeworld gems against fusion?”

“They are. I am not.”

“I have a Starlight. My universe.”

“Ooh. So you were in...”

“Not now, ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ... You better get on going. We still see a bunch of gems.”

“Thank you rebels.”

Red and Golden Coral closed their eyes.

“Whatever happens next, we will hold each other very tight.”
