Gave in in the end. Got a flex nib. At least Noodler's ink allows me to experiment for 20 eu so I'm cool with it.

Also obsessed with it.

I've watched a hundred reviews and all advised to thoroughly cleane out the pen before use but i didn't have the time for a lot of trial and error setting the nib bc I was traveling so I just flushed it and then inked it. It's going well for now! Maybe I got lucky? we'll see with more use.

Lighting my office with candles was a great idea. It’s amazing how warm light and shadows can make a space feel more alive and dynamic.

I think candle lighting will be a ritual I’ll employ to transition my office from my workspace into my study space.

There's been a little bit of a fuss in the fountain pen community this week over a well-known brand of ink made by a libertarian crank in his garage having some pretty gross antisemitic imagery on some of its labels. Some people say that the dude running Noodler's is a harmless satirical weirdo. Others say that he clearly knows what he's doing when he does shit like renaming a criticized ink showing a Jewish person with devil horns to Censored Red and gives it this label:

My opinion is that the parts of this label I circled tell you everything you need to know about the manufacturer. However, someone on Reddit had a much better insight, as you may see from this screencap I took this morning:
