Let's talk about something that's bothering me for a while now: ageism.

As a 90s boybands' fan, this is a topic of discussion I see often and it makes me want to punch someone.

People these days can't seem to comprehend aging and it kinda pisses me off. I really don't know if people are delusional about these influencers who are always wearing tons of make up and filters so they look "perfect", but I got news for y'all: we all are getting older.

I know and am completely aware people are kinda clueless and nonsense when they see our idols as "forever young" (fr delusional ppl are a pain in the ass), but the worst for me is when they decide to let all the world know about their unwanted opinions and COMMENT HORRIBLE THINGS ABOUT OTHER PPL'S APPEARANCE.

Sometimes I wanna forget my politeness and reply "I see you haven't seen many mirrors in your life", but tbh I really don't have the energy nor the time to argue on internet anymore.

I noticed this happening a lot with *NSYNC's JC Chasez and Take That's Mark Owen (maybe I'm too pissed cause they're my faves? Maybe) and I wanted to know if it's a sole perception or if anybody else agrees. Doesn't have to be about Joshua or Mark, but have you noticed that in the fandom you're part of?

With New Years around the corner, parties and dancing and all that fun stuff is on the agenda. Today, I'm going to unofficially DJ your party/gathering/dancing alone in your room.

This is The Party Zone - A soundtrack sold in the early/mid 90s featuring pop, dance-pop and eurodance songs. If you are old enough to remember the "NOW" or "Kidz Bop" music compilations from the 2000s, this is pretty much the same, except better music. At least to me.

This commercial always aired during USA Network's "Up All Night" show and the mixture of sleazy, neon B-movies and sugary sweet dance music was everything 9-year old me wanted in his life. It was a world I was way too young for, but a world I wanted to be a part of no less. Times change and I never got to experience that level of sleazy living in my adult years, but I have the music so I can pretend I did. Here's the best hits from The Party Zone.
