Een nieuwe week betekend nieuwe releases. Het is duidelijk dat het televisie seizoen van 2021 is begonnen... Om te beginnen met het nieuwe RTL5 programma 'Crime Desk'. Onder andere Marieke Elsinga, John van den Heuvel en Mick van Wely gaan voor de zender een crime programma maken. Ook werkt Openbaar Ministerie en de Politie mee. Het wordt de tegenhanger van 'Opsporing Verzocht'. De kijker krijgt een diversiteit aan zaken te zien van cybercrime en georganiseerde misdaad tot en met zedenmisdrijven. Vanaf 11 januari om 20.30 uur gaat het live programma van start. Vanaf donderdag kruipen Irene Moors, Carlo Boszhard en Elise Schaap in de smink om bekend Nederland na te doen. Donderdag 14 januari om 20.30 uur start het twaalfde seizoen van de 'TV-Kantine' weer op RTL4. Aankomende vrijdag wordt het de strijd om de kijker op Netflix en Disney Plus. Netflix komt met de film 'Outside the Wire'. Waarin Anthony Mackie de hoofdrol in heeft. Het volgende verhaal wordt getoond: Een drone piloot wordt naar een levensgevaarlijk militair gebied gestuurd. Samen met een officier heeft hij de taak om een massavernietigingswapen op te sporen. Er is haast bij, want ook rebellen willen het wapen in handen krijgen. Op Disney Plus laat Kevin Feige eindelijk zien hoe fase 4 van start gaat. De serie 'Wandavision' moet de kijker een mix van actie en een knip oog van klassieke komedie series laten zien.
