i dont know the most about vpns but i most definitely did not use windscribe which you can find in the chrome or firefox addons stores to watch eurovision. i think it does have a time limit to how long you can use it before you gotta pay for it but it does last a good few hours. (i also was able to set mine to the uk!)

see, windscribe is the primary vpn i've been using this whole time. i needed to find an alternative because, like you said, there's a limit to how much you can use it. i don't think there's a time limit for the desktop version (i could always be wrong), but there for sure is a data limit of 10 gigabytes. this is where i'm at right now:

since you mentioned browser extensions, i just grabbed one of the more popular vpns for firefox (browsec) because i've used it for a little while ages ago and remembered liking it.

with this whole thing, no one (explicitly) told me that i didn't need to actually download bbc's iplayer to watch their shows. it just loaded in my browser on the bbc site after i made a dummy UK account. i didn't know the video was playing because i left the tab on mute by accident lmfao
