(This post might be kinda weird or hard to -for some- to understand but I know there is someone out there that needs to know they are not alone and that they are seen.) Abbi dog and I got out today. I, a little begrudgingly. Our walk looked different today because of mentioned change but nature never fails us. Even on gray days. Sloshing through soggy ponds we (I) found a patch of rosehips. Such a needed moment of purpose. Love that God is the part of nature I get. Things change. Kinda slapped me in the face today and made me yell and shrink. Sometimes it’s easy to handle but then there are days where one too many blocks get added to my tower. Stresses become too much. And I know I just can’t. I wonder if depression ever really goes away. Maybe some people are just more resilient or less attached. I’ll never know cause I’m not like that. Life can feel fine until the moment when one too many things takes up mindspace and I’m done. Today was one of those days. But luckily I’ve dealt with both sides enough to recognize the depth and figure my way out. Not ever simple or even always something done in a day (or alone) but it IS possible. And that’s pretty hopeful. Do you deal with depression at times too? How do you get yourself out? Hey a little Moomin x Homestuck thing because I’m bored out of my fucking mind

The trolls have typing quirks in homestuck, and the humans have writing styles.

Quirk example: GaMzEe TaLkS wItH mOtHeRfUcKiN aLtErNaTiN lEtTeRs,

Style example: john talks with no capitalization, but all his punctuation is there in place!

Also, trolls have little emoticons that represent them. Kartkat’s is (# = random) #:B, the B representing his nubby horns. Vriska has an emoticon like ::::# to show that she is a spidertroll with eight eyes.

So, even though they don’t type in the Moomin universe, what if they did and they had quirks that they type with???? Mixed with styles??????? And emoticons??????????? :  )

Snufkin: [natureisaGift (NG)] <|:) - I would suspect that he would talk similarly to rose in tone and vocabulary, but he would only capitalize the first letter of a sentence and leave everything else lowercase. 

NG: <|:) - His quirk would probably be that his sentences start with his emoticon (his hat and a :), :(, :?, or :3) and ending in something that’s supposed to look like a pine tree. - =|>|> (also he types in green but idk how to change the text color on tumblr so shsh)

Moomin: [moominTroll (MT)] His style woul:D always be using an excite:D an:D upbeat tone! He never uses perio:Ds, not unless he’s using them for elipses...

Morels! Or more fancy worded morchella but I always say morel. This is some pictures of my foraging and processing from last spring I never uploaded it. It was a great season I got over 20 pounds in 2 days. Morels are very tasty and very expensive it's a prized mushroom around the world. People flock to the woods in mass to morel hunt come time for them and it's a wonderful activity that can include the whole family some of my earliest memories are going out hunting for these with my parents even a very young child of 5 or 6 can tell what is or is not a morel and they are great at finding them since they are so short. Figured I would upload this as eating those maitake yesterday got me in the mood for mushrooms and I still got a bunch of morels in the freezer.
