In love 😍 PRO-TIP Clean your brushes with a bowl of warm water with a little Thieves Dishsoap or for really gunky brushes put Thieves household cleaner directly on the brush (about a capful) and let sit for a few minutes. Swirl around then rinse well keeping bristles in the same direction. Gently but firmly press out water with a towel. Spin brush between hands to flair out bristles then allow to dry overnight. Let's talk Toothpaste Were putting this stuff into our mouth twice a day, 365 days a year. Whatever is in your toothpaste is getting a free pass into your bloodstream – and once you see the types of chemicals that you’ve been brushing your teeth with, you might start to think twice about the brand you’ve been buying for you & your kids. What I first discovered with Thieves toothpaste, it that it didn't have ingredients in common that nearly all toothpaste brands have-sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).  SLS, along with Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLES) and Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALS) - detergents that are commonly added to personal hygiene products such as shampoo, toothpastes, mouthwash, body wash, soaps, etc. to help create a lather and make the products more effective at cleaning.  In fact, these ingredients are so effective that they are often included in industrial strength detergents and engine degreasers!!! Also found in most shampoos including “no tears” baby shampoos 😳 Say what!? Another concerning ingredient in traditional toothpaste is Triclosan.  Triclosan is an antibacterial agent,that is also often found in soaps, hand sanitizers, as well as detergents and other cleaning agents. Are we seeing a pattern here? It has received a great deal of media attention, because it has been linked to health concerns, such as liver and thyroid dysfunction. triclosan and other common antimicrobials can cause subtle disruptions in all-powerful gut microbiomes- the popular toothpaste Colgate, has been selling “Colgate Total”  for nearly 2 decades – and the FDA recently Got around to banning its active ingredient triclosan… from hand and body soaps… but NOT from toothpaste. 🙄 Don't get me started on fluoride 😡 http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ is a great place to check and research the ingredients in your toothpaste.
