I need you guys to hear me out on some hardcore lore I just basically thought about (I also haven’t looked any of this up, so if it’s not original, I’m very sorry)

That one episode of Limited Life, with Gem and Lizzie has been stumping me because I know people say that like, they were summoned to take over Pearl and Cleo’s bodies but then I think about the scene where they’re at the table alone and are confused and acknowledge each other as friends.

This means that these versions are the same as the ones on Empires and Hermitcraft and they know each other most likely from those worlds (as opposed to some of the other Lifers not recognizing each other in the crossovers)

So here’s my little thing because Lizzie joining makes sense as she was in a life series before but how did the Watchers find and choose Gem?

So obviously the Watchers went to grab Lizzie from Empires and while they’re there, they look around for other people they can grab as a candidate and come across this butterfly winged priestess of the Sun.

A little weird, but not the strangest thing on that server.

However, just before they leave her out completely, they notice something strange in her player code.

She’s a duplicate, with her other self on Hermitcraft, the other main server that the Life people are from. They check her stats, finding she has a strong love for pvp, including a high number of kills on a certain ex-husband of the very person that needs a replacement for the week.

It’s an easy choice.

After the session, they keep tabs on her. Who knows, maybe they’ll need another player in the next games.

I imagine Sherman, while trying to be helpful to Ellis when he first showed up to camp said something like “if you get too attached to people, they’ll become a weakness, and they can be used against you,” fast forward to when Sherman asks Miranda out and Ellis, ignoring the technical tradition of throwing both of them in the lake, hurls his brother into the lake while cackling at him that he was eating his own words. Fast forward a bit further to when Ellis and Cecil start dating and Ellis is mentally prepared. Prepared for Sherman to chuck him in the water, also laughing.

Ellis is nearsighted and has glasses that he almost never wears cause like, they might break and why would he wear them if he’s already close up when fighting but the first time Cecil saw him with them on just around camp he had to avoid looking at him because he kept blushing if they made eye contact

Personal headcanons i have if Ellis and Cecil because I decided there’s not enough content for them

- Ellis showed up to camp first but only by like a month. They were like nine or ten when they showed up

- I don’t know if what state they’re from is canon but I think Cecil is from New Jersey, don’t ask why he just is

- Ellis is from Southern California for no reason other than I feel like it

- Cecil’s step dad is a bad dude. Not as bad as Gabe but he also wasn’t very good to both Cecil and his mom

- Ellis has two moms, they adore Cecil despite having never met him in person

- They’re both year round campers. Ellis originally wasn’t but when he was like fourteen he became a full timer

- One time, they were just walking around in Manhattan when they ran into Cecil’s step dad. Upon recognizing Cecil, he started yelling at him

- Ellis knocked his lights out

- Once during Capture the Flag, Cecil managed to beat Ellis by distracting him and tying him to a tree and he never lets him forget it

- They didn’t really interact until after the Battle of Manhattan. Will and Clarisse apologized officially over the chariot and they were both there to kind of keep the peace

- They made eye contact during the conversation and Cecil got butterflies

- They kissed before they even got together when him and Lou Ellen hexed some mistletoes (the people would get stuck under it until they kissed, I know, I’m basic) at Christmas time to get Nico and Will together and it backfired when Cecil bumped into Ellis when he was hanging one

- It was the most awkward thing Lou Ellen had ever seen but she still took a picture of it (“WILL LOOK CECIL HAD HIS FIRST KISS”)
