Do You Just Give Control To Your Ego? We have always sought approval and love from the outside, from parents, friends, teachers, colleagues, and superiors. We try to play roles that others expect us to play. Why? One gesture of approval and love received is only the view of one ego on another ego. And this fragile appreciation, based on selfishness, can crumble in the next moment. We are left craving for more. We want and seek approval and love as long as we live. We cannot stand our own mistakes because it is a sign of weakness. We want and demand others to behave around us with their manners and opinions in a way that best feeds our ego, and we do not allow actions that reveal our deepest weaknesses. Ego is strong in this. Is it true love if we only allow what we want to see beyond our insecurities? Is it true love if we must fill the love the other longs for by reflecting all our shortcomings and insecurities back to them? Back to you. Will that ever be enough to heal your deepest wounds and theirs which prevent receiving genuine love? You did not dare to take a new unknown step because your spouse, your parents, your friends, anyone but you, disapproved of your dreams – because your dreams did not serve their selfish ego. You do not serve them. What would have happened if you instead had taken that step you desired? Would you have received disapproval and hatred? Possibly. But not from those who do Love. True Love does not take. Do not listen to that Devil's voice. Its task is to destroy and control. What would have happened if you had taken that step? Would you be proud, happy? Of yourself? I think you would. Because You listened to yourself - your heart and soul. You lived your life for yourself, in the moment. You were free in that moment. What does it matter if, after this, you realize you have made a mistake? You lived and experienced and tried. You got a taste of adventure, and what's stopping you from changing direction? Nothing. Your ego. Delve into the depths of your own journey as we navigate through questions that resonate with every soul: What defines your path? Who shapes your reality?
