Join me on my Instagram feed to get inspired and learn the art of mixing and matching. . Do you remove things like vents and wall switches from your photos? Vents in my photos make me batty. I use the retouch app or Lightroom to make most of those kinds of things go bye bye. There’s a vent that’s actually to the top left of that mirror. And like magic, it’s gone. Gotta love that, right? (See highlights for a little demo of how I do this to stories.) . For the record, editing vents out of photos is not about perfection to me. It’s about not allowing a vent to draw focus away from the real subject of the photo. It’s about the art of creating a beautiful image. A vent draws your eye directly to the vent. I’d prefer you look at the decor. . In other fabulous news, I had the rug cleaned and now my life is complete. If you’re in the area, I used F & F carpet cleaners and they had it done in 5 days! That’s amazing for the record.
