🚨FUN SING STREET NEWS🚨

(Even though this is from 2020)

I know the title of this video says this is a petition but it’s actually kind of a bootleg(?) I don’t really know what this “petition” is supposed to be BUT I just found this full video of Sing Street: Grounded, a virtual performance of the show that the original Off-Broadway/Broadway cast did back in (I think) April of 2020 to raise money for charity and celebrate their show after Broadway shut down.

If you’re interested in finding out more about Sing Street the musical, watch this!! It’s unfortunately not the full show but it has a good bit of the popular songs and the important (but not sad) parts of the show, and a few tiny scenes that the cast kinda act out (complete with Irish accents).

I’m glad I found this because I heard it was great and had to do some research to find out what it was because I had no idea lol. If you’re a Sing Street fan, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Diljit Dosanjh shares kindest words over collaborating with Ed Sheeran; says, “He truly knows how to work a crowd”

Diljit Dosanjh surprised the audience by performing with Ed Sheeran during his Mumbai concert on March 16.

Ed Sheeran arrived in Mumbai, earlier this week, for a musical concert which was held in the city on March 16, Saturday. Needless to say, it was truly a magnanimous concert with several Indian fans cheering and showering love on the American pop artist. The International songwriter however, also had special surprises for these fans as he brought two guest performers with him – one was the melodious Bollywood singer Armaan Malik who swooned the crowd with his chartbusters and the other was the one who added ample Punjabi tadka – Diljit Dosanjh.

Diljit Dosanjh, who has made the country proud even internationally becoming the first Indian singer to have performed at Coachella, collaborated with Ed Sheeran in the recently held concert at Mahalaxmi Race Course in South Mumbai. In fact, on Sunday, the duo took to social media to share a video of two of them jamming on the famous Dosanjh song, ‘Lover’ with even Sheeran mouthing the Punjabi lyrics, which left the audiences enthralled.

Talking about this opportunity to collaborating with the American pop singer, Diljit had only kind words to share as he said, "It was wonderful performing with Ed last evening. He truly knows how to work a crowd. He is such a giving artist and sharing the stage with him was a real joy and an absolute honour. Whoever said language is a barrier needs to know that music is a language of its own."

Ed Sheeran is expected to have taken off for his next destination since he is on an Asia-Europe musical tour. Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh was recently seen entertaining Indian celebrities at the famous Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar. Diljit is also gearing up for the release of his next Bollywood films which includes Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra and Crew co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.

if you’re looking for a cool new punk band to listen to, i highly recommend looking for local small bands before searching “punk” into spotify.

don’t know how to find them?

what i did is i looked up what some punk bars in my area, i started going on random nights and found bands i liked that way. (if you’re under 21, you can still look up the bars, but go to their instagram, see what bands are playing and see if they are on band camp, spotify, etc.)

this has worked amazing for me, i’ve made so many friends, it’s to the point where certain bands shows feel like monthly family reunions full of so much love and genuine compassion.

hope this helps anyone wanting to be more involved in the subculture

EDIT: if you live in a small town, just search the nearest big city. or honestly any city that you vibe with. every area has a slightly different sound and scene find what you blend with!!
