A photo from my trip earlier this year, of the Muse, Calliope. In Greek mythology, Calliope is the Muse who presides over eloquence and epic poetry; so called from the ecstatic harmony of her voice. Hesiod and Ovid called her the "Chief of all Muses." Standing by those fish with gnashing teeth I would say she is the "Boss of all Muses!" 01: Do you prefer writing with blue or black pen?

Usually black, but if I have a sudden idea and there isn’t one around then I’ll settle for whatever’s closest.

04: Do you drink your tea or coffee with sugar?

It depends on the type of tea. With my fruiter teas (blood orange, pomegranate, raspberry) I don’t, because they’re sweet enough on their own, but if its some of my richer teas like mi-chai or earl grey then I will.

10: Do you like your name? Would you ever change it?

I hate my name with an absolute burning passion and I fully intend on changing it once I’m in a position to do so. It won’t be to Thea (privacy and All That) but I’m still trying to find a name I like enough to stick with for the rest of my life.

16: Who do you want to be closer to?

Either my beautiful, wonderful girlfriend ( @museofpoetry) or the fabulous @jadepresley who I admire to the stars and back.

22: Do you like spicy food?

I love anything with a kick to it.

40: If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and were would you get it?

Actually, I really love tattoos and I hope to get many eventually. If I was only able to get one tattoo, it would most likely be some sort of lion face with hanging crystals on the back of my neck to honour my sun sign.

41: What can you hear right now?

I can hear an NCIS episode in the background as my fingers click across my keyboard, accompanied by the faint humming of the temperature control system in my house.

44: If you could travel back to any era, which would you choose?

SO many! Ancient Greece, Victorian England, feudal Japan, three kingdoms Korea - although the minimal role that women played in a few of these would get frustrating pretty quickly.
