CHAPTER FIVE—JESSE SWANSON
RATING: M
PAIRING: Multi (w/ Bechloe end game)
SUMMARY:
The story of how Beca and Chloe both find “the One” (AKA each other) (AKA the Love Life AU that no one asked for)
I’m sure that you were expecting this one at some point, reader. After all, we sort of know how this one goes. In short: acapella boy meets acapella girl, they date for three years in college, and they do not go on to have aca-children.
“I think that Jesse likes me,” she supplies nonchalantly. She’s not really sure what drives her to say something, especially because it’s so not like her to open up to people, but there’s something about Chloe that makes her feel safe enough to tear down those walls just a little bit.
Chloe lets out an incredulous laugh at this confession.
“I could have told you that at the beginning of the year,” Chloe scoffs. “I can’t believe that you’re just now figuring this out, Bec.”
She blushes at the term of endearment and her own denseness.
“I’m just…I don’t know, people don’t usually like me like that,” she says, feeling insecure in the moment. “I’m not like you, Chloe, people don’t usually fall all over themselves for me like they do you.”
Chloe rolls her eyes.
“Yes they do, you just don’t notice,” she reassures Beca. “You’re kind of hot. And I should know because I’ve seen—”
“Oh my god, dude!” Beca interjects, cheeks burning up with embarrassment at the memory of what they refer to as The Shower Incident. “I wish you would just let that go already it’s so embarrassing.”
Chloe just laughs, shaking her head.
“Quit deflecting, let’s talk more about Jesse."

Prompt Request
Hello, my fellow Pitch Perfect/BeChloe lovers! I have a prompt request and am seeking your help with it.
Since just after Christmas, I’ve been going through something and didn’t have the energy to write or do much of anything else (depression with a side of anxiety sucks!). During that time, I had to deal with my mother and a beloved aunt passing away (there was a bunch of anxiousness involved with both, but that’s a story for another time). To help myself through the bad days, I got back to moving my earlier fics from FFN over to AO3. While doing so, I re-read each one and realized that as much fun as a multi-chapter fic was to write, I got the most joy from writing one-shots. There was something about telling an entire story in 2500 words (sometimes more) that I have been missing, so I’ve decided to do another challenge that will, once again, give me the joy writing had given me in the past (at least I hope it will).
After reading my A to Z BeChloe series, I’ve decided to do another series and am calling it the ABCs of BeChloe. It will be 26 one-shots where the titles will be a letter of the alphabet, going in order from A to B to C, etc. Here’s where you come in if you’re so inclined. Send me a letter prompt (it could be one word, a saying, a song, whatever), and I will write a BeChloe one-shot. It will definitely be BeChloe-centric, with a side of the Bellas and/or Staubrey, with whatever comes to mind once I see the prompt.
So, respond with a comment here, go to my ask box, or message me with your prompt, and I’ll do the rest. It will probably be a while before I start posting anything since I’m doing them alphabetically. I have a few ideas already, but I am looking forward to whatever prompts/ideas you come up with.
Thank you for your time and support. I appreciate and love you, awesome nerds!
~~ BeChloeIsLegit ~~
PS—There will be some angst, fluff, BeChloe children, etc., but no smut; I’m just not feeling it.

The Adviser (19/45) | Bechloe Mafia AU
In this War, What is Truth? Chapter Preview - Read the rest at ao3
Aubrey wasn't exactly sure what she was expecting when Beca said it was time to do things her way. Technically speaking, they were already doing that. She wondered briefly if it meant that the gloves were coming off, if the childish schemes and pranks, the unorthodox way of doing things, were about to end. But no, Beca still had her drawn lines. She just expanded them.
"They deserve a lifetime of misery, after all," Beca had said when she had explained her plan the night after they found the victim's family.
The police insistence on barely investigating and chalking things up to suicide was highly suspicious. Beca was convinced they've been paid off, and quite possibly they too were paid off back when Chloe was arrested. If anything, they've probably been on Babel's payroll for a while. Aubrey couldn't help but agree.
Lilly came back with info after a bit of digging. The two detectives in charge of the case had been living a rather lavish lifestyle, at least compared to other police detectives. Beca figured they were probably being paid cash in secret, because their banking records showed no anomalies. Still, they were spending more than what they earn, even when they took into account their respective spouse's income.
Chloe did some of her own sly digging. She was fueled with a new desire for taking down her former law firm. She reached out to her old co-workers, trying to figure out who was getting fed up or frustrated with how things were being ran. She hit jackpot with Jack, a lawyer who entered the firm the same year she did. Jack did a lot of impressions during company parties. Apparently, the Kommissar had taken a liking to them and he has been turned into her personal jester, making impressions whenever she wanted.
Jack was instrumental to their current revenge plot. Chloe invited him for coffee. As pre-planned, Aubrey arrived soon after, after Chloe and Jack had gotten the pleasantries out of the way. Basically, if Chloe sensed that Jack would crack and inadvertently help them, Aubrey would arrive, and Beca soon after, to make a deal. Aubrey was going to appeal to his morality, and Beca was going to deliver him an offer he can't refuse, because, as Beca said, everyone had a price, and Chloe knew that Jack dreamed to be part of the legal team of a multi-national company. If he didn't, then Chloe would subtly text Aubrey to make a change of plans and it would be Lilly convincing Jack to help them while on his way home.
Thankfully Jack was so done with everything at DSM that he sang like a canary and spilled tea.
He hated how they were basically doing grunt work. He didn't know of the more nefarious – or rather, under-the-table politicking – that was going on with the firm until the Kommissar dialed it up to a thousand.
Aubrey didn't even have a chance to butt-in with her impassioned speech of why Jack should help them. She didn't need to. He fessed up that Kommissar had sent him to pay police detectives for some recent cover up without being prompted to. He wasn't sure what it was about, just that he needed to make the deliveries for the payment twice at the abandoned 7 story parking lot of the old, also abandoned, mall that Aubrey, Beca, and Chloe had once upon a time used as well.
Jack was still going on and on about his plight when Beca arrived.
And Beca being Beca, managed to smoothly take over the one-sided conversation. "You know, I have a friend in Lamborghini saying something about an opening in their legal team. Someone willing to move to Milan."
That was all Beca needed to say for Jack to be all ears.
Aubrey would be lying if she said she wasn't at all impressed.
Which brought them back to the old abandoned mall. On the seventh floor of the parking garage, to be specific.
They set up a sting operation wherein Jack made the drop and the detectives came to pick up the dough. Emily was ready to snap photos for proof before being sent home, Aubrey reasoned, she didn't need to be involved with what happened next.
What happened next was that Lilly knocked the two detectives out, and Beca had Justin and Tommy tie them onto two swivel chairs separately. Their legs were tied in such a way so that their feet could barely reach the ground. The chairs were also raised up to maximum height to help do so. Afterwards, the two chairs were tied together, back-to-back, and they were carried up towards the seventh floor where the old barricades that surrounded the enclosure of the parking garage had worn out. They were placed a few meters away from the now open ledge.
Beca always dressed in black when she meant business, at least, that's what Aubrey had observed. She had worn an all-black suit ensemble, paired with sleek black oxfords, and her long brown hair tied back. Aubrey watched her as Beca stood in front of the detectives, waiting for them to wake up, once again fiddling with the lid of her lighter. The sound it made Aubrey soon associated with Beca's scheming. That and her personal brand of justice.
She stood a few feet away from Beca, arms crossed. To her right was Chloe who looked deep at thought. Aubrey could tell she was still upset by Babel and DSM's latest schemes. She would worry more about how things are taking a toll on Chloe if her best friend didn't have Beca by her side. The two of them had still been living together, despite Chloe receiving a call recently that the work being done to her home was completed. Whether Beca knew or not, Aubrey wasn't sure. What she did know for certain was that Beca Bella cared a lot about Chloe. She could anticipate the redhead's needs beforehand, always three ready with a cup of coffee, or water, or snack, and anything else that Chloe needed, especially during the last few days they've been working together to give Babel what's coming for them.
Beca smirked and stopped fiddling with the lighter once the two detectives stirred awake and started trying to free themselves.
"I wouldn't bother if I were you," Beca then said.
"This is illegal!" cried one of the detectives.
"This is insane!" cried the other.
"What's illegal and insane is two officers accepting bribes to cover up a murder and present it as a suicide," Aubrey chastised. She couldn't help it.
"You have no proof!" the older of the two detectives said.
"Oh, we do," Beca then replied calmly. "We have all the info we need about your extra-curricular activities." Beca sighed and placed her hands in her pockets, before walking towards the two detectives. She placed a foot on top of one of the swivel chairs. "If you die here, we can pin it all on a exchange gone wrong. You're names forever besmirched by your corruption," she then said before kicking the chair lightly towards the open edge of the seventh floor.
As soon as the chair started moving, the detectives panicked and tried their best to stop their tracks. But when their chairs started shaking, almost toppling over in their efforts, they stopped and prayed they don't reach the edge. They did not.
"A seven-story drop would be fatal, I believe," Aubrey then commented and marched towards them and gave the chair a light kick, making them barely move a few inches closer.
"They were, in a way, accessory to the crime of murder, it wouldn't be hard to believe that whoever they helped would have done them in too," Chloe then said, moving towards the detectives and giving their chairs a hefty kick that sent them speeding to one side, stopping a few feet of the edge of the building.
"You're not really going to kill us, are you?" the younger of the two detectives asked, fear clearly evident in his tone. "P-please, I have a wife. He has a wife too, a-and kids, please, please, don't kill us."
Beca walked towards them and placed a foot on one of the hand rests. If she gave it her all in the next kick, Aubrey surmised that she would send them careening towards their doom.
But instead of giving a kick, Beca started applying pressure in the chair, rocking it back and forth. Before stopping. "How about I make you a deal?" Beca then asked. "You answer our questions, and you'll be free. Fair?"
"Y-yes," they both replied and gulped.
"Who hired you?" Beca asked. "We already know it's Babel and DSM, but I want to know who gave the order. Who's on top?"
"We don't know that, w-we just got a call from the Kommissar. She handles all the business. Before it would be Pietro who called us," the older detective replied.
"Y-yeah, and we only get instructions, we don't ask why," the younger detective then said.
"Who killed them then?" Chloe asked, with barely concealed contempt in her tone. "Were you the hired killers too? Or do you not know who you are covering up for?"
"Hangers, their called. A gang, real bad rap sheet," the older detective said. "We were instructed to clean up their mess and how, but we weren't asked to kill anyone."
Chloe huffed and marched towards where Beca stood, she raised one of her legs with force, about to kick the chair. Aubrey panicked a little, and was about to rush to stop her, but in the end she didn't.
Mostly because she didn't have too.
"Chloe," Beca said, her tone so soft. She gave her a look before shaking her head.
Chloe huffed again and put her foot down. "I wasn't going to go all in," she mumbled.
Beca chuckled. "Don't wear your heart on your sleeve," she then said. "Your enemies will exploit it, you know."
Chloe huffed once more before walking back to Aubrey. She seemed a whole lot calmer after that exchange.
"And piece of advice," Beca then added towards the detective. "You may think you're above it all, because you wear a badge as your shield. But that badge doesn't stop monsters like me from exacting justice on people like you. What goes around comes around, and you can never beat someone who's not afraid of death in this dangerous game you're playing."
Beca took her foot of the seat and turned around. She signaled for them to walk away, and so they did.
"Hey! Are you not gonna set us free? We delivered our end of the deal!" the older detective shouted.
Beca stopped on her tracks and raised two fingers, before bringing it down to one. "What deal? You had no other options. You were never in the position to make any bargains. Be thankful you keep your lives," she said before raising her second finger again. "I'm sure, you can free yourselves if you try really hard. We said we'll let you keep your lives, not free you. Understand the terms of your agreement before signing onto them."
Beca smirked and then turned to leave again. The younger of the two detectives cried out this time, "How about our money?" he asked but Beca made no attempt to stop.
Chloe shook her head. "We decided to donate it to a better cause," she said before following Beca.
Aubrey bid the two farewell, her mind onto the next phase of their mission. "Hopefully we don't meet again, detectives."
She caught up to Beca, thinking about the Hangers. She has indeed heard of the gang. If they were to use them to nail Babo down, that would mean they were up against really dangerous enemies. They had to prepare. Besides, from what Aubrey has heard of them, some members were also officers in the police department. She assumed she could rule out the other two who cracked so easily under their intimidation tactics.
This also meant they would have to further push the boundaries of what they were willing to do if they were going to make them crack.
Aubrey had a lot to prepare for.
"You could be a consigliere, you know?" Beca commented. Aubrey hadn't realized that the two of them ended up matching their pace, letting Chloe lead the way back to Beca's car.
"I assume that's a compliment?" Aubrey then asked.
"Make of it what you will," Beca replied with a smirk.
"Just make sure no one dies in the same room as the person who will be covering up for you," Aubrey retorted.
"At this point, death will be a mercy, an escape," Beca commented before she sighed. "The only time any of them will die is after they've suffered in agony, that much I can promise. But if I can help it, let's take away all they hold precious and bring them to justice."
Beca picked up her pace after that, leaving Aubrey alone with her thoughts. Beca's words echoing in her mind.
She wondered if it would ever be truly possible to do just what Beca promised without any one dying in the end?

Damn, your most recent gif set of bechloe having to hide their relationship just reminds me of another gif set where they’re having a similar discussion in a car (but that one’s a little angstier). I’d LOVE to read a fic like that! Do you know any with that kind of plot? (Or do I just have to keep it in my head/wip drafts lol)
Are you referring to this amazing gifset from @anna-kendrick: https://anna-kendrick.tumblr.com/post/643021935687663616/fame-au-one-second-beca-mitchell-has-everything
it's part of a really angsty fame au (chloe correct me if i'm wrong) where beca and chloe's relationship is super closeted and it affects them both really badly to the point of Very Bad and Sad things happening to them. this sounds super vague, but I know chloe and i have headcanoned several very upsetting AUs and this is just one of them sdfsdkfskdf
but i mean, if you wanted to see something written, I can see what I can do? I think I envision something like this as multi-chaptered but I wonder what a one-shot would look like...

How about a spider Beca au? For bechloe?
I literally have had this draft on my computer for over a year now. Didn’t plan on releasing it until I completed it but if you’d like to read it, here it is 😬😀
I planned this to be multi-chapter fanfic so there’s not much Bechloe in the first chapter so excuse me 😂
If you don’t like it, we can just pretend it never happened.
but if you are interested in more, just let me know and I’ll show you the rest.
Powerless - Chapter 1
Sheflexed her muscles trying to break out of the straps that trapped her limbsdown on the bed. A middle-age man stood beside her in a white lab coat with aneedle in his hand filled with blue liquid. Beca’s eyes widened in panic and fearas she struggled to fight for her freedom. She couldn’t go through this again. This was the fifth time this week.
“Subjectis ready for the injection. Third attempt. 5-milliliter dosage.” He listed hisactions as he grabbed Beca’s IV tube and placed the needle inside, pushing theliquid into her veins.
Becapanted, preparing her body and mind for the virus to hit her immune system. Shefelt the pain slowly spread through her forearm all the way to the top of hershoulder and her body shot down. She started shaking violently, trashing backand forth as the venom spread through her body. Her body was rigid to the pointwhere she feared her spine was going to snap at any moment.
Unbearablepain attacked her heart and she let out a scream.
Thedoctor observed her reaction, ready to step in at any moment. “Her heart rate’sincreasing. Vitals are low.” He watched her heart monitor as it started to beepfrequently. “We’re losing her.”
Anautomatic voice rang through the room from the speakers. “Give it a minute.”
Thedoctor obeyed and stayed put. Beca felt tears sliding down her cheeks becauseof the pain that she was powerless to stop. Her eyes rolled back into her headas her body finally lost the battle and she fainted. Her heart monitor sloweddown to normal rate.
“Thirdattempt failed. Subject unconscious.”
Thedoor opened suddenly and another professor walked in. “Give me the chart.” Hedemanded and flipped through the pages, mumbling under his breath. “It’s stillmissing something. But what?”
Hesighed and took off his glasses, rubbing his eyes. “I need to go back to thelab. When is she gonna wake up? We need to keep trying.”
“Shecan’t take anymore. Her heart is going to fail and she’ll die. She needs therest.” The doctor said, releasing her wrists from the handcuffs. “Let’scontinue tomorrow when she’s recovered.”
“Fine.”The professor said nonchalantly and disappeared through the door.
Shewoke up in a white room the next morning, vision slightly blurred. She scannedaround her and glanced down her arm, finding three glowing red dots on herwrist. She sighed; she’ll have a hard time covering them up. It’s no wonder whyeverybody in school thought she was a drug addict.
Carefullysitting up, she grabbed her phone from the bedside table and checked the time.School started in an hour. She needed to get going if she wanted to be on time.
Shegathered her strength and pushed herself off the bed and immediately grabbedher stomach, feeling the nausea coming full force. She reached for the emptybucket placed beside her bed and dry heaved for a couple of minutes. She hadn’teaten since yesterday morning when she was whisked away to the lab.
Dr.Harris peaked his head through the door.
“CanI come in?”
Becagroaned in pain as another wave rolled through her body. The doctor took thatas a ‘yes’ and walked inside with a clipboard.
“Howare you feeling? Aside the nausea. Headaches? Pain in the limbs?” He scrabbleddown something on the paper, unconcerned about the girl on the floor.
“What’s– what’s happening?” Beca weekly coughed out, finally able to take a breath as herstomach relaxed.
“Yourimmune system is trying to reject the venom but it is too powerful. So, theonly other way to get rid of it is by vomiting. It’s natural. You should befine once every drop of toxic left your body.”
Becawanted to snicker and throw something at him but she opted to use that energyto stand up slowly. “How many times?” She asked exhaustedly.
Withoutany context the doctor understood her. “3. It wasn’t safe for us to continuewith the treatment.”
Us. Beca shook her head with alifeless smile. Like she wasn’t the one who almost died yesterday. “That mustbe a record.”
“Hesent me to examine you and determine when are you ready for the next trial.”
Becacollapsed down on the bed. “Great. Awesome. Can you hurry up because I have togo to school.”
Becahurried down the corridor as fast as her body allowed her. The check-up ranlater than she thought and she missed the school bus, making her walk fifteenminutes to the school. Normally it wouldn’t be a problem but she still felt theeffect of yesterday, heavily in her body.
Shetucked down her sweatshirt to cover her wrist and knocked on the classroomdoor. Mrs. Andrews looked at her pointedly but continued the lecture, allowingBeca to slip in the back row without a verbal confrontation. Dropping her bagon the ground, she pulled out a notepad and a pen, blinking rapidly to not fallasleep.
Aftercopping down everything on the board, Beca quickly became bored. Twirling thepen between her thumb and index finger, she looked around the classroom. It wasfilled with the almost entire football team, including the cheerleaders aswell. Beca saw two IT kids from the Tech Club and two lead singers in DramaClub. Front and center sat the cheerleader captain, Aubrey Posen and her secondin command Chloe Beale.
Becatilted her head in wonder.
WhileAubrey embodied every single stereotype of a cheerleader, Chloe was different. Becanoticed her talking to strangers nicely, treating everybody with respect andkindness.
“Ms.Mitchell, you were late and now you don’t even pay attention to the lesson.”Mrs. Andrews’ voice rang out loud, shocking Beca out of her thoughts.
“I’msorry, Mrs. Andrews. I’m listening.” Beca spoke out, shrinking in her seat asthe classroom turned to her. She briefly caught Chloe’s ocean blue eyes beforethe cheerleader turned back around.
“Wonderful.As I was saying…”
Afterthat Beca tuned out, slowly progressing to lay her head down on her desk. Shefought to keep her eyes open but were unable to and she fell asleep.
Theschool bell woke her up violently as she swung her head up and saw peoplegathering their stuff and leaving the classroom.
“Ms.Mitchell, a word please.” Mrs. Andrews’ were sitting at her desk, staring atBeca disapprovingly.
Fuck.
Staciewere waiting for her outside the room, leaning against the wall.
“Whattook you so long?” Stacie questioned, holding her books to her chest.
Becashowed her the pink note in her hands with the words DETENTION splattered onit. Stacie winced as they made their way to the next class that they shared.
“Ouch. What did you do? Mrs. Andrews is really cool usually. It’s hard to piss heroff.”
“Well,I succeeded apparently. I ran late, didn’t pay attention and to top it all off,I fell asleep.” Beca listed bitterly, coming up to her locker. “It’s a miracleshe didn’t send me to the principle.”
Thelast thing she needed was her father to be called in school. She shuddered justthinking about it.
“Whathappened yesterday that made you so tired?” Stacie’s mouth opened wide. “Didyou pick up some hot girl? Oh, tell me everything. I wanna hear all about it.With details.”
Becasnickered as she opened her locker and pulled her history book out. “Like Icould do that. Please. I’m the only lesbian in this school. Who would I pickup?”
“Justbecause they are not out, it doesn’t mean that there isn’t any girl to choosefrom. Believe me, you are not the only one. Plus, it’s a small town, noteverybody is as brave as you.” Stacie stated shrugging.
“Yousure do know a lot about closeted lesbians here. Are you trying to tell mesomething?” Beca smirked jokingly and Stacie rolled her eyes.
“Please, you know I fell in love with people. Not gender.”
Becalaughed. “How poetic of you.” She lifted her arm to grab the strap of her bagbut her sweatshirt shifted down, revealing the evidence of yesterday’s trial.Stacie’s eyes immediately zeroed on the three angry dots and she sucked in adeep breath.
“Whatare those?” Her tone was controlled as she pointed at Beca’s wrist.
Beca’seyes widen as she quickly lowered her arm, pulling the material down, hidingthe marks again.
“No- nothing. I – I just doodled on my hand. It’s ink.” Beca would’ve been proudof her quick thinking if Stacie’s expression hadn’t hardened. She didn’tbelieve her.
“Don’tlie to me. Beca you said you weren’t doing that anymore! Are you stupid?”Stacie asked strongly, taking a step forward.
Becastepped back. “I’m not doing anything.” She said defensively. As the firstrumors started going around school that she was a drug addict, Beca hadn’tbother to come clean to Stacie. It was easier to let the girl believe thatthose marks came from herself when in reality he was the cause of them.
“Itdoesn’t look like it! Beca, are you using again?” Stacie in her anger grabbedBeca by the shoulder, squeezing tightly, trapping the girl between herself andthe lockers.
Suddenly,Beca was back in the lab as the assistant strapped her down forcefully onto thehospital bed. No matter how hard she fought, he held her down strongly as hestabbed the needle in her arm and pushed the medicine that made her so woozy, she couldn’t tell from up and down.
Herbreathing picked up as her heart beat out of her chest. Acting on pure panic, she pushed Stacie away by her shoulders, watching as she stumbled backwardswith her eyes wide open in shock.
Bothfrozen to the spot, Beca was aware of the growing crowd around them, curiouslywaiting for something to happen, phone ready in hand to record. She pushed downthe tears threatening to escape and ran down the hall, away from prying eyes, away from Stacie and out the door.

DANCING AROUND THE SUBJECT (Chapter 1)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/19104700/chapters/45394159
When beca started at Barden university 4 years ago she never really thought she would open up to anyone, boy was she wrong! Chloe burst into her shower and got her to audition for the Barden Bellas, then Chloe started to burst through her comfort-zone and get Beca to open up more and more throughout the years.”
Beca is the kind of person that likes to take long hot showers, it helps her think more clearly. Recently though all that's been going through her head have been about her best friend. Is it normal to have a crush on your best friend? No it can’t be. So yeah she takes longer showers to clear her head and try not to think about her best friend. It doesn’t really work though, but the shower is nice.
Today is a particularly rough day. The Bellas are hosting a party after winning the worlds. Beca isn’t too happy about the idea of having a party, when all she wants is to go mix some music and relax.
Beca discovered her feelings for Chloe about 2 months ago. Stacie had brought a dog with her, the Husky puppy had ran out the door and took herself for a walk. Stacie found her and called the owners, but they couldn’t pick up the puppy until later. So she brought the puppy to the house. Beca have always been a dog person, so she was pretty excited about meeting a Husky puppy. They always look so fluffy! But all she could focus on was how adorable Chloe was with the puppy. Beca realised then that she always wanted Chloe to look that happy and excited.
“Beca come on we are going to be late for the party” Chloe yelled through the bathroom door. Beca almost slipped in the shower from being startled by Chloe. She didn’t expect anybody to talk to her anytime soon. “Almost done!” Beca yelled back. She got out and started to dry up and get dressed. She let Chloe in so she could finish up her makeup. “You ready for today?” Chloe asked. “Yeah ofcourse i am, why wouldn’t i be?” “well, you have been in here for a good 30 minutes, and you only shower that long when something is bothering you” she answered with a worried expression. “Nothing is bothering me Chloe, don’t worry, it was just a long flight.” Beca replied, knowing that she wasn’t telling Chloe the truth. She couldn’t just tell Chloe about her feelings, it will ruin everything! “Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything and everything right? Chloe asked back with a more worried expression. “Yes Chloe i am sure, i’m going downstairs to see if the Bellas need any help.”
Beca went out in the hallway and took a deep breath, and went downstairs to the kitchen. She was met with a lot of decorations and alcohol, this is going to be a long night. She mixed herself a strong drink to try and forget her feelings for Chloe, might as well start early right?
Beca is having the time of her life despite the feelings regarding this party earlier today. She is dancing with a random chick, and it's getting kind of steamy. That's when she notices that Chloe is also dancing quite steamy with a random guy. The jealousy killed her mood a tiny bit so she walked away from the other girl. Now she is looking for more alcohol! Oh man she is going to regret all this booze tomorrow morning.
“Haven’t you had enough alcohol now Beca?” Stacie asked, well more yelled over the loud music.”Nah, can’t ever drink enough Stacie!” she yelled back. “Is there anything you need to talk about? Should i get Chloe? Yeah i’m going to get Chloe now. Don’t go anywhere!” and with that Stacie left to find Chloe.
Beca left the kitchen and went outside to get some air, it’s nice and chilly out. While she is out there she starts to think about the jealousy she felt, to be honest, still feels. She doesn’t know how long she sat there, but Chloe looked worried when she finally found Beca. “THERE YOU ARE! I have been looking for you, Stacie said you might need to talk?” she said with an expression Beca couldn’t quite read as she was still pretty drunk. “I don’t need to talk to you Chloe, i just need some sleep.” Beca said and started to stand up. She is a bit wobbly and almost falls, but Chloe catches her in time. “You don’t need to fall for me Becs” Chloe says jokingly. The look on Beca’s face makes her change the subject. “Anyways let’s get you to bed huh?”
Getting up the stairs is a bit of work, but they made it all the way to the top! “Change your clothes and i will be right back with a glass of water for you.” with that said Chloe walked out of the room and back to the kitchen. Beca sat down in her bed and started to take of her shoes, but dear Lord! Taking of shoes while under the influence is hard! So she gives up and lays down instead. Beca wakes up with a startle when Chloe starts to take of her shoes, and tells her to drink her water.
Chloe sits down with Beca. “You said earlier you didn’t need to talk to me, specifically me, or you don’t want to talk to anyone about it?” Chloe asked. Beca is beyond tired and she is seeing double. Not really in the mood to talk, but she knows Chloe won’t stop asking. Why not just talk to her about it? They are both pretty drunk so hopefully she won’t remember anything the next morning. “Okay you want to know that badly?” Beca asked with some caution. “That’s why I am asking you Becs!” Chloe half yelled. Beca sighed and said “fine. Here we go… I am crushing on someone, and i can’t stop thinking about them, they are always on my mind, and i have no idea what to do about it. No matter what i do, i think about them, everything they do, i find so fucking adorable.but it can never happen, they will never feel the same way, so yeah that’s what is bothering me. ” Beca explained sadly. “Have you tried telling this person how you feel? You never know if they feel anything back if you don’t ask Becs.” Chloe said back with a weird expression Beca can’t read. “No I haven’t and I am too scared to tell them as well. I might ruin a good friendship, and I don’t want to do that. Either way, you got me to tell you what is bothering me, now I want to sleep. Good night Chloe.” “Good night Becs!” Chloe replied and went downstairs back to the party. After Chloe left Beca laid back down and got comfortable, but like every night she couldn’t seem to fall asleep. The room spinning isn’t really helping.
NOTE: if you want me to continue writing i will happily do so! this is my first Bechloe fic and i hope you enjoy it! if you have any tips or advice i would love to hear them! have a wonderful day/night! :D

ANYWAY. Celebrity Scandal is here, back on track for the rest of Bechloe Week because all the other prompts are filled!
BONUS:

20 Questions Game
This seemed like it might be fun to do. So, here’s my responses. I was tagged by @ridiculously-over-obsessed
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
AO3 says I have 113 Works (many of which I migrated over from FanFiction.net since that was the first site I posted on).
2. Total AO3 word count
1,866,264 (Can this be right?)
3. Fandoms you write for
I write solely for Pitch Perfect
4. Top 5 fics by kudos -
Love at First Bite: A Pitch Perfect Story - A vampire AU fic; cowritten with RJRMovieFan.
Pitch Perfect 3: BeChloe Is Legit! - Pitch Perfect 3, written as we believe it should have been and could have been if the filmmakers were a little more visionary; cowritten with RJRMovieFan.
Skyping While Sleeping - Summary: A one-shot based on a post/prompt from Tumblr User @ladygaybeale. Beca is on tour and Skypes Chloe. Chloe thinks Beca is asleep and tells Beca her deepest regret.
Stronger - Summary: Beca and Chloe meet before Beca starts at Barden University and become fast friends. Chloe is a Senior and had a terrifying experience when she was home for the summer. The two are drawn to each other, but is Beca biting off more than she can chew in wanting to be more than just a friend to Chloe? Rated M for language. Warning: Mentions of anxiety attacks and assault (not sexual).)
BeChloe Week 2019 - Summary: 8 BeChloe One-shots based on prompts submitted by Tumblr users.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes. I’m sure I’ve missed some, but I do try to respond to them all.
6. Fic w/Angstiest Ending.
I think I’d have to say, “Chloe Effed Up.” It’s the only fic I’ve written where Beca and Chloe do not end up together.
7. Happiest ending?
I am known for happy, fluffy stories, so I can’t pick which of my fics would have the happiest ending. (I do love writing an Epilogue and will (almost) always find a way to have a happy ending.)
8. Do you get hate on fics?
None that I can recall.
9. Do you write smut/what kind?
Not usually; I have written some light smut when I felt it added something to the story (or I got badgered enough and added some to keep readers happy; giving into peer pressure is not usually my forte, but I can be persuaded every once in a while).
10. Do you write crossovers?
I haven’t, but I have used characters from Grey’s Anatomy more than once.
11. Ever had a fic stolen?
Yes.
12. Ever had a fic translated?
Not that I’m aware of.
13. Ever cowritten a fic?
Yes, several, actually.
14. Favorite ship?
For writing, all Bechloe, all the time. Also, Staubrey. And, I don’t write them, but I have grown a bit fond of Junksen (and I did write a Christmas one-shot where Aubrey and Emily were together).
15. A WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Nothing that’s been posted. (I do have a couple of fics in a Drafts folder that I started because I got an idea and didn’t want to lose it. I may have to revisit that folder and see if there’s anything there worth working on.)
16. Writing strengths?
I finish every fic I start; nothing is left incomplete. I also feel I’m stronger at writing one-shots than multi-chapter fics.
17. Writing weaknesses?
I use dialog to convey the story because I’m not as good at imagery or descriptive narratives.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in a different language?
I haven’t written too much in a different language, only small parts of conversations, and Google Translate may or may not have been involved. If I actually spoke a different language, I would definitely write something in that language.
19. First Fandom you wrote for?
Pitch Perfect. Also, it's the only fandom I’ve written for.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Wow! That’s a loaded question. I don’t really have a favorite, but I do have a few that I really am proud to have written. My top five are (in no particular order):
Beca and Chloe’s Summer Fling My Name is Beca Mitchell What if the World Ended Tomorrow? Chloe Goes On Strike Stronger
There are also a number of one-shots that I would consider faves (I admit I have too many to list).
Tagging: Anyone who reads this and wants to do it.

hope everyone has a lovely morning, afternoon, or evening, wherever you are in the world. <3
