I'm gonna need certain ppl to stop tryna tell me what I need for my hair my hair is so damn dry and soaks up moisture so quick I actually DO need to be heavy handed with the shea butter for it to be moisturized for more than a day.

#thats why i dont get my hair done the shit i need to do to keep it mositurized #would just get ruined #my stuff #i kid you not i use a literal handful of shea butter once a week to keep my hair mositurized #otherwise she will dry the fuck out and break #its horrendous #im tired of ppl tryna give me advice like fam im mixed and a whole different body #what works for literally every other black person on earth is literally detrimental for my hair

Hey tumblr, how tf do you unintstall, reinstall, rewire etc etc the entire heating and vent system in your car? Asking for a friend

#vents may be kicking the dust because it took me almkst an entire hour just #fucking idling in my friends' driveway trying to get all the frost and shit off of all my windows and mirrors so i could drive home #almost an h o u r #before it went away so i had the visibility to even back out of there #got the left side cleared up eventually but found out :) the vents on my right side are busted #so i had to hunt down fucjing tissues fron the depth of my car to manually go ariubd all inside and outside #and wipe off mositure and frost residue #so i could drive back home #dad should be home in another 2 weeks so we can look at it but still...#need to fucking calculate an extra 30min to an hr now when i wanna go anywhere #to account for my vents(?) being broken and not getting rid of frost properly #i know the car is from 2006 but still... im way tio broke for it to die on me already #youve onky driven 202 000 km calm down baby #fanya.txt

Hey lovelies <3

Let's help some girlies out by commenting or reblogging with your favorite self care products! Could be skincare, makeup, hair care, body care, etc! I'm always looking for some new products/tools to try so I thought this would be a good way to spread some helpful info!

Here's a few of my favorites:

🩷 Skincare:

I love face masks and eye masks! My current favorite face mask is the Red Bean Pore Refreshing Face Mask by Beauty of Joseon and my favorite eye masks are The Creme Shop Work Hard Rest Hard eye masks!

🩷 Body Care

body scrubs/body butters! I love using two similar scents together! For the summer, I use Tree Hurt Tropic Glow scrub and body butter and for winter I use Dove Exfoliating Scrub in Brown Sugar and the EOS Vanilla Cahsmete Lotion.

🩷 Hair Care

No specific product recommendations for this, but I love oiling my scalp twice a week! It makes my hair feel and look so beautiful! I currently use The Ordinary Moroccan Argan Oil and I use a scalp massager to gently massage the oil onto my scalp after applying it with warm fingers.

Hair Masks!!! I love the Shea Mositure Raw Shea Butter Hydration Mask so much, I use it with conditioner on my hair oiling days and my hair has never looked better.

🩷 Makeup

I love the Essence Tinted Brow Gel because even if I don't do much makeup, it makes me feel and look a little more put together.

Same goes for the Ulta Beauty Gel Eyeliner in Dark Brown, it makes me look and feel so much better some days, and it's not super bold like liquid liner so I don't feel the need to use Mascara.

Lip Oils!!! Milani Fruit Fetish and Elf Revive are my two favorites!! I have Milani In Cherry Lime and Elf in Jam Session. So moisturizing and a bit tinted so it makes me feel so good when I have it on. Even when I wear a bare face, I always use one of these to elevate my look!

🩷 Miscellaneous

Vitamin/Mineral supplements! I only take ones I know will work for me or ones I'm deficient in. I currently take Vitamin D3 and Aple Cider Vinegar supplements but I am looking into taking Magnesium Gylcinate and Ashwagandha soon as well!

Self care hobbies and routines! My gentle morning routine, journaling, yoga, a wind down night routine, and reading informative books has been so helpful for me!

I'm personally looking for hair growth tips and tools (like the efficiency of silk hair wraps or silk pillow cases, hair growth oils and supplements, etc), any and all skincare tips and tools (like ice face rollers, are gua sha effective, etc), and even body care products recommendations as well!!

I hope this post helps others out too, with everyone sharing their products recs, tips, advice, favorites, and so on!

Does the Sandygast line require access to water, as in living in a beach environment?

My daughter is enamored with them, and has been beefing me for one as her starter. We’ve done some research, and since we live in a sandy desert area I feel like it might be ok to get one, but I’m worried our lack of coastline access might not be ideal. (We are very landlocked.)

Any advice would be appreciated!

unfortunately that's not a great environment to keep a sandygast in. think about it- have you ever tried making a sandcastle in the desert? it doesn't work because the sand needs moisture to stick together. keeping a sandygast out in the desert will cause it to dry out and crumble, which is obviously not something you want to happen.

it's possible to keep them in an indoor enclosure, but maintaining the proper humidity if you haven't had experience is really tough, so if your daughter hasn't raised pokemon before, i don't recommend getting her one yet. sandygast are already tough to raise because they can be finicky about touch, and having to monitor their environment that closely and feel them regularly to make sure they have the right mositure level makes it tougher.

in the meantime, you can try taking her to an aquarium that has sandygast or even email the keepers to see if she can talk to them about sandygast care so she can get her sandygast fill!
