Fingers fiddle with the hem of her skirt, attempting to magically will the fabric to grow an inch or two longer so as to not feel exposed. By no means was it inappropriately short, nor could she blame it on the slight chill in the air when summer had still been on its way out, but it’d been a while since she’d last had a night out.

Of course, it was never just ‘going out to dinner’ with Liv and Kandy once they had a cocktail or two with their meal which would somehow end up in them bar hopping thanks to Kandy’s persuasion. She’d been to some cool spot in Brooklyn with her cousin and obviously had to take them too.

“I don’t know if I should drink anymore, I’ve got work tomorrow–”

“So do I. What time do you go in?”

Denali huffs as the disposable plastic cup is passed over to her nonetheless and she mutters, two, knowing fully well it wouldn’t get her out of downing their third tequila shot of the night.

“This bitch... I’m supposed to be at mine bright and early at nine. Live a little, we’re never gonna be this young again.” Kandy insists, motioning encouragingly for Denali to throw the shot back with them.

“Who knows maybe you’ll meet someone!” Eyes light up excitedly at the thought and before Olivia could get the idea of being her wing-woman and setting her up with some guy, Denali narrows her eyes towards her friend.

“Don’t look at her like that, She’s not saying you’ll meet the guy you’ll be spending the rest of your life with but it wouldn’t hurt finding Mr Right Now. Don’t let your ex keep you in this dry spell, girl, it’s been like six months–”

I wonder if either of those blogs even considered sending Braddie a private message first, or if they jumped straight to publicly dragging her. They also both have big followings so it just doesn’t feel right for them to do that to a small blog.

y'all know I'm a Braddie Stan but yeah it was a two-way thing. I don't know how big anyone's blog is and I don't think it's fair to say that you could tell one is bigger than the other, but yeah, I think there needed to be a clarifying question, I know that morningmissgoode was maybe replying more to the anon than to Braddie but that got very confused so there was overall a better way to handle the situation from all sides

normal people make resolutions for nye but usually i make them on my bday (or i start them on my birthday even if i think of them usually around nye); i get oddly self reflective and emotional about birthdays and it often makes me think of the people i have had the fortune to meet so, is there someone in the last year that has meant a lot to you? i’m going to be very honest, last year was really rough for me in terms of friendships and relationships. i dont want to get too much into it, but basically last year i had to let go of a handful of people in my life because i was no longer myself around them and i was sacrificing my values for the sake of keeping their friendship.

which is insane, that that happened the past year, because in that same year ive met people that have made and continue to make me so so happy and mean a lot to me. like theyve made me realize that maybe things wont always be so bad, and that there are still people out there who will understand me and that i dont have to stay in friendships that i no longer want to be a part of in fear that i wont find other people who’ll actually like me

first off, ive had a hard time making friends in college so the fact that a girl in my class reached out to me early last year really saved me a lot of worry. i feel grateful to have her as a friend, and we're very close now! i alsooooo made a lot of new amazing friends because of rosenali/s13, i reconnected with old mutuals and also gained lots of new ones! but i gotta single out blayze (@nickysjaida) and alex (@morningmissgoode) because i genuinely dont know who or where i’d be if it weren’t for them.

theyve taught me to stand my ground and that its okay to think for yourself and be brave enough voice your feelings and opinions out to others. theyve also helped me become better at setting boundaries, and i genuinely would not have survived last year without them lmao. also theyre so fun to talk to and i can be annoying as hell around them, like i can relax and not have to walk on eggshells because they just get me!! ive never been friends with people the way im friends with them which is so SAPPYYY but its true its true

im gonna stop bc i wont hear the end of it from blayze if i continue being so nice to her lmao so thank u for sending the ask i lowkey really wanted to talk about this <3

Tal vez te veo por ahí, the cheeky comment leaves her flustered and although she’d heavily doubted her and Lagoona’s paths would cross again, she’s proven wrong weeks later.

It would be just her luck to run into the other blonde at the rink out of all places in New York. Not that she found her first interaction with Lagoona unpleasant at all, but what were the odds of this occurring more frequently?

At least she’d been accompanied by other friends rather than her roommates.

Taking pity on how comically horrible Lagoona was on the ice, Denali skates over to offer a helping hand to a friendly acquaintance, saving her from being laughed at by her friends and other patrons. Maybe it should’ve been awkward seeing as they didn’t know each other but Lagoona makes it easy, she’s personable and has Denali’s cheeks aching from giggling at her comments as they skate about together.
