Hi everyone.

Long story short: I'm pretty much stepping back from the fandom.

For the last two years, since Season 13 and the Rosenali thing began, I was really lonely and this Rosenali/drag race fandom was an amazing community and support system for me. You all interacted with me on the daily, you cherished and praised my writing beyond belief, and I am so grateful for that and wish I could pay it back in dividends. I am in a much different place than I was before, and with the community that I have in real life, it's become more important to me to protect my privacy than it was in the past. Other reasons for me leaving are that, for the most part, I get zero Drag Race posts on my dash anyway, and I'm not shipping any of the queens from the newer seasons so there isn't a lot of content here for me. I definitely also was frustrated with what went down the last few weeks in this fandom. Finally, my boundaries about writing real people/drag race-inspired fics have changed. My girlfriend, for similar reasons, has decided to deactivate, and I am going through the process of deleting a lot of the posts that have personal information about me that someone in the real world could possibly identify.

My account will still be here, meaning I will still be here, if anyone wants to reach out or DM me. That won't change. My writing will also still be here, and on AO3, but it's pretty apparent to me that there's a 99.9% chance that I won't be finishing my WIPs (at least not in the form they are in now). I'm so proud of my work and, again, so thankful for all of the love and praise they got. I had so much fun with you all.

Maybe I'll pop up in a different fandom someday, but for now, goodbye.

The fact that all this happened, people made alt blogs to send threats/slurs/make fun of people, lie about suicide, ALL this shit because one person dared to question the prevalence of cosmetic procedures in the drag world and the effects that might have. All this over... that. Crazy to me.

Harassing someone isn’t okay at all and I believe in defending this person from harassment. But really? And I see she’s said it was petty and apologized I guess.
