How JJK Characters React to You Describing Them as Your Type When Todo Asks

A/N: pretend you’re in a huge group with all of the students present when this question was asked :) also, I went with the anime adaptation of the characters rather than the manga, just fyi!

Yuji:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

“Yeah y/n, we wanna know!” Yuji said, excitedly. You figured there was no harm in sharing, Todo and the group were just looking for fun to distract them for a little bit.

“Okay, well I like guys that are average height, not too tall or short. Super strong, of course, with a cute, goofy smile. Oh, and colored hair is always fun too!”

“Oh man, he sounds so cool! If I find any guys that look like that, don’t worry, I’ll send them your way!” Shaking your head and laughing, you got into a conversation with Megumi while Nobara yanked Yuji out of your earshot.

“Yuji! Don’t you realize what y/n said?!”

He rested his chin in his fingers, deep in thought for a few moments before he answered.

“No? Should I have?”

Nobara didn’t hesitate to whack him on the top of the head.

“They literally described you, idiot! Don’t you own a mirror?!” Yuji’s mouth opened in a big smile. This was great news since he had a big crush on you!

“Y/n! I have to talk to you!”

Megumi:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

You sighed. You didn’t want to join Todo’s antics but you had no choice.

“You don’t have to answer him. It’s a stupid question anyway.”

Megumi’s voice came unexpectedly from behind you. You smiled inwardly at his protectiveness.

“I appreciate that Fushiguro, but I might as well. Let’s see. I like moody boys on the lankier side with dark black hair and dark blue eyes. He has to love animals too.”

You looked at Megumi to see if it registered that you were talking about him. All of a sudden, he sported a deep blush and excused himself from the group. Todo gave you a hearty smack on the back for your response.

“I’m proud of you for baring your soul like that to the one you love,” he said, tears rolling down his face. “Y/n, go get your man!”

You turned to look at your friends who all just shrugged their shoulders. Looks like you’re off to find Megumi then!

Nobara:

“Y/n! What kind of woman is your type?”

You had no hesitation answering this question, you loved to talk about things like this, gossip and crushes and the sort. Besides, it was time Nobara knew how you felt!

“I thought you’d never ask! I really like short girls with short hair. If it’s a vibrant color, that’s a plus. Spunky personalities are the best and I need someone who’ll keep up with me when I go shopping.”

Looking over at Nobara, you saw her jaw drop and you knew she understood what you were getting at.

“Y/n! You liked me and you never told me?! This whole time?!” she shouted, running towards you. You didn’t know whether she was going to hit or kiss you so you took off running as well. Gotta love the feisty girls!

Maki:

“Y/n! What kind of woman is your type?”

“This stupid question again?” grumbled Maki. You were a bit nervous to reply to Todo. You had a huge crush on Maki but she was, well, intimidating, to say the least. To be fair, so was Todo, and you heard what happened to Fushiguro so you went with the safest bet.

“I like girls who are on the taller side and insanely strong. Light eyes, dark hair. Straight to the point, always. And uh… glasses.”

Maki hadn’t moved a muscle and you cringed, fearing the worst. Best case scenario, she would ignore you ever said that. Worst case, she’d beat you up. When she came over and grabbed you by the collar of your shirt, you gulped.

“Y/n. We’re talking about this somewhere else.”

(Spoiler alert: when you were somewhere else, you kissed🤭)

Inumaki:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

Todo was on your last nerve. Sure, he seemed nice enough, but why should you be expected to tell everyone your personal business like this? In front of both schools’ students, no less! When you were filled in on what happens when you don’t answer truthfully, you resigned to the fact that you were exposing your true feelings to everyone today, whether you liked it or not.

“I like shorter men, preferably with medium length blonde hair, and bright purple eyes. He doesn’t talk much but more than makes up for it with his top tier sense of humor.” You noticed that Inumaki never broke his gaze from you as you spoke. You shuffled over to where he was sitting to explain yourself, but this time it was you who couldn’t find the right words.

“Mustard leaf?” Inumaki broke the silence first, basically asking you what was wrong since you marched over there and hadn’t said a thing.

“Look, Toge, I’m sorry if I—”

He tugged on your sleeve, stopping you. In his hands was a note that read, “I like you too” with a little smiley face at the end.

Yuta:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

You weren’t sure how to answer Todo. On one hand, you didn’t want to expose your crush on Yuta. On the other, would be it so bad for the truth to be out there? He was a kind person that wouldn’t drop your friendship if he didn’t feel the same way.

“I really like average height guys with longer dark hair and big, dark blue eyes. Personality wise he has to be extremely loyal and caring. Oh, and good with a sword.”

“Sooo… Yuta?” questioned Panda, and you nodded in agreement, your face warming with a blush.

“Wait, me? Really?” Yuta’s eyes lit up as he broke out into a hopeful smile. You nodded again.

“Oh man, that’s great!” he exclaimed, and then sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. “I’ve liked you for awhile too and I just thought maybe you didn’t feel the same but you do! Which is amazing!” You laughed softly at his rambling. This school year just got a whole lot better!

Gojo:

“Y/L/N sensei! What kind of man is your type?”

“Todo, isn’t that wildly inappropriate to ask your superior?” you answered, a joking tone present.

“Maybe, but we’re curious! Please, sensei?”

“Yeah, sensei! It’s just for fun” Yuji chimed in.

“And it’s a team building exercise to know something so personal! You’re always saying we need to communicate better,” added Nobara. You rolled your eyes playfully.

“I meant that to be an exercise among you children, not me. But I will entertain this for only a moment, so listen carefully,” you told the group and they cheered like their favorite baseball player hit a home run. As you were about to spill your secret, you spotted Satoru leaning against a wall, clearly interested in the secret you were about to spill.

“I like super tall men who are lean but extremely strong. He has to be very funny and goofy but with a kind heart. White hair and striking blue eyes are also a must.”

Maki’s eyes almost popped out of their sockets as she exclaimed, “You like that blindfolded idiot?!”

As the kids clamored at the newfound information, Gojo took that time to approach you and the students.

“Excuse me everyone, but me and my new lover must depart,” he announced, taking your hand dramatically while leading you away to laugh at what just happened.

Noritoshi:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

You groaned. You really didn’t want Noritoshi to know about your infatuation with him. It was no secret that he had more important things to deal with than schoolyard crushes so you were afraid to confess in case it made him uncomfortable—or worse, dislike you!

“You don’t have to answer the immature question, y/n,” Noritoshi spoke up when he noticed your discomfort. You were grateful for him but you wanted to keep the peace among your classmates and judging by the death glare Todo sent to you two, you’d better start talking.

“Thank you Kamo, but I value harmony among friends so I will answer this for Todo’s amusement only. I like tall men with a bit longer dark hair and gray eyes. Having an honorable character and being good with a bow is the way to my heart.” You felt Noritoshi tense up next to you and you refused to look at him out of fear of rejection. He took you by surprise when he leaned over ever so slightly to whisper to you.

“I was caught off guard by your confession but I can’t say I don’t feel the same. Can we discuss this later?”

Todo:

“Y/n! What kind of man is your type?”

Your eyes went wide when Todo’s booming voice reached your ears. You were super into him but no one knew. You knew you couldn’t fool him with a fake answer, though, and if you were going to feel his hand for the first time, you’d rather it be from holding it with your own than having it curled in a fist and connecting with your face.

“Um… I like men that are extremely tall and buff. Dark hair, tan skin. And passionate, of course.”

“Hm! That’s a great answer! He sounds hot,” replied Todo, smirking, “but unfortunately for that perfect fake man, I’m taking you on a date first because you’re my type!”

You definitely weren’t expecting this!

Mai:

“Y/n! What kind of woman is your type?”

You rolled your eyes. This big oaf is going to jeopardize your friendship for sure. You really liked Mai but you figured she wasn’t into dating and all the lovey dovey stuff.

“Do I have to answer?” you asked, praying Todo had a change of heart.

“No, y/n, we all wanna know. What’s your type?” Mai chimed in, a sly grin on her face. You gulped.

“I… like women that have short, dark hair and dark eyes. If she’s taller than average that’s cool, and I love a snarky personality.”

“No way!” exclaimed Momo when she realized who you were talking about. You refused to look anyone in the eyes out of embarrassment and fear. What you weren’t expecting was Mai grabbing your hand and leading you somewhere else. Hopefully it was to talk and not get beat up!

Momo:

“Y/n! What kind of woman is your type?”

You huffed in annoyance. There were always some sort of antics with this guy! You had liked Momo for awhile now but she was like an enigma to you. You could never get a good read on her so maybe telling her how you felt outright would be a good thing?

“I really like girls with blonde hair and blue eyes, and short, too. Having a cute personality is a plus as well,” you answered, hoping that was straightforward enough.

“Wait a minute, that sounds exactly like me!” Momo exclaimed, blushing slightly. You sheepishly nodded your head.

“Because it is. I have a crush you.”

The whole group erupted in a chorus of “aww’s” and “how adorable.” You were nervous that you had accidentally made her uncomfortable but your fears disappeared as she came over to sit next to you. When the students were distracted by another topic, you felt Momo’s hand rest over so slightly on top your own and you knew you made the right decision to confess.

Miwa:

“Y/n! What kind of woman is your type?”

Before you spoke, you met eyes with Miwa. It almost seemed as if she was anxious to hear what you had to say!

“Girls with dark blue eyes and are average height are my type. I also really like girls with kind hearts and are down to earth. Blue hair isn’t too bad, either,” you finished, smiling nervously. Both of you were blushing messes while Mai scoffed “Get a room!” Your classmates were just happy that the secret was out in the open—they were tired of you two dancing around your feelings for each other!

All Kyoto kids call Utahime Mom, everyone pronounces the address with a different intonation (last one was Noritoshi, he said it suddenly and quietly, which did not escape Yori's sensitive hearing)

Arata loves hedgehogs, he throws videos with them to Nobara, even more often than some memes understandable only to him (Kugisaki with a satisfied smile pokes his finger at the phone screen in front of Megumi's face and says look, it's you when Yuuji is not around! Noritoshi likes to look at street cats. Mai sings well, just likes to be harmful at every opportunity when she is asked to sing something Noritoshi sneezes softly like a kitten (I've only heard twice in my life that people could sneeze like that, hehe it's an awesome sound)

Arata got Todo into dating sim games on behalf of a fem character Todo: Toxic bastard and you pretended to be a decent guy too! Arata: Are you already going through episode X? Nishimiya and Mai *look questioningly at Todo and look at Arata* Todo*nods and turns to the character of the game*: How many such bastards around you! But nothing, he won't do anything to us! As soon as he heard a strange noise from his boyfriend’s dorm he was rushing his happy ass over there right away. He doesn't fuck around his his boyfriend’s safety.

Ready to kick some ass but instead sees that the weird noise is from some kittens.

“Oh... It's just kittens.?” he questions. While you're recovering there from the heart attack called Todo barging into a room, thinking he was a member of faculty that heard strange noises.

“Todo you just scared me so bad, yeah I saw them left on the side of the road and thought I'd take care of them until I'm able to find them a place to live!” you pause for a moment “just please doing tell anyone...”

He smiles and gives you a thumbs up, “Don't worry handsome, I won’t!”

Figured it was unlikely that a curse would be able to sneak onto campus unnoticed but that didn't sound like a normal falling individual or dropping of an item.

He thought his boyfriend got hurt in some way or another so, he marched up there and knocked on the door only to be met with a frantic “G-Give me a minute!” He opened the door worriedly, fearing for his lover’s safety.

When he's met with multiple screaming kittens and your panicked face he pauses.

“What is all of this?” he asks hesitantly, staring at the scene before him confused. “Uh... Okay, sweetheart let me explain,” you cut yourself off with a deep breath, “so I found a box of kittens on the side of the street and I couldn't just leave them, so I snuck them in and I was planing of bathing them then taking them to a trustworthy shelter.” You look over at him with a pleading expression, “Please just don’t tell the teachers!”

We don't see much of the Kyoto kids (and we won't ever be able to after shibuya and the culling games *cough*) but. Noritoshi is a wlw magnet. As someone (I'll write their name once I'll find the post again) pointed in one of their post: Nori and Mai seems to be in great terms since he can compare her to Todo and live (+must be in incredibly great terms with Momo if she doesn't come beat the shit out of him after he talked like that to her gf).

My first impression: She had me laughing when she was pressing that one man about his opinion on her being a model.

My impression now: She is best girl! I adore her! She is indeed funny as hell, a badass and also bit of a softie.

Favorite thing about that character: Jumping off from the last point, I love that Nobara is indeed a badass, but she also still has feelings, you know? She's someone who will have your back, on or off the field of battle.

Least favorite thing: That she hasn't returned yet... 😭 (Yep, I refuse to believe she's actually dead. In this series??)

Favorite line/scene: There's a lot of Nobara scenes I love, but to choose I gotta say the scene where she and Panda were teasing Momo. "Nishimiya, there in a tree! Come down and play!" I can still hear that line, makes me laugh every single time. 😆

Favorite interaction that character has with another: Oooh, it is hard to choose here because I love her interactions with Megumi and Yuji. Then there's her relationship with Maki. But I'm giving it to Fumi here. Just seeing her and Fumi as kids and growing up together really touched me heart. Fumi was like a cool breeze to Nobara's summer day. I teared up a little when they were saying good-bye to each other.

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: Definitely would love to have seen more interactions with her and Maki. I love the interactions we did get though, but damn it! I want more of them!

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: At first, I couldn't think of anyone, but then Kendo Itsuka from BNHA came to mind. They're both these kickass girls who don't take nothing from nobody, but they also have a good heart.

A headcanon about that character: I headcanon that she didn't aim for her hair to be an orange color, at first. She wanted a more pinkish-color (like a salmon or a coral pink), but she picked up the wrong color, but decided to try the orange anyways. She immediately loved it.

A song that reminds of that character: There's actually two Shawn Wasabi songs that reminds me of Nobara. One of them is called Tokyo Tea. It's a really cute song, but also has this aggressive beat to it. It is so Nobara, I promise you it is. And the lyrics and all!

An unpopular opinion about that character: I really want people to leave the "She's JJK's Sakura" in 2023. She is not, never has been to me, I'm just saying. "She's useless", if Itadori, who whooped Mahito something fierce, can recognize Nobara's technique was used on Mahito that gave him the opening and thanked her, why the fuck can't people who call her useless recognize that she isn't?

Favorite picture: There's quite a bit of pictures of Nobara I love, but two I'll say are these. I had been rewatching season 1, and yep! I still love rose tattooed, feral Nobara. The second picture amuses me.

Headcanons of JJK X SN AU

This is just my thoughts of what it would be like if Yuuji and Nikki are cousins and he ends up traveling through Miraland with her and having to save it from tits inevitable destruction. Sorry if they are all in a rush or inaccurate

Spoilers for Shining Nikki, read at your own risk

* As Yuuji in this AU wants to become a designer due to Nikki’s influence and also that they’re cousins here, he loves designing casual, colorful streetwear and fairytale-like outfits. Like Nikki, many of his sets qualify as either Sweet or Cool, but he occassionally dabbles into Fresh and Elegent. He rarely dabbles into the Sexy attribute and couldn’t bother to do any of them, however, he wouldn’t mind that he might make some of them in the future

* Just like Nikki, the 200-year old(?) time loops that keep happening over and over, Yuuji loses majority of his silly cheerfulness and adopts a bit more of a mature and patient attitude, if a bit cynical at the beginning of the time loops. However, he eventually learns to cope with his trauma at the end of the time loops and learn how even if life loves to give him failures over and over again, he will continue to inspire hope for everyone and journey through the challenges of life. I feel like this version of Yuuji would survive mentally through JJK because he actually had his traumatizing life-changing experiences of trying to save Miraland over and over again through the time loops (Also, I got inspired of this headcanon of @starphenie’s recent fanart about how Nikki got so much character development from the first game of the series up to SN)

* Yuuji got invited to become a main actor for a December Troupe play after Yexiao got hers done. The play is about Jenny’s younger brother who is a traveling bard trying to find a cure after his village got struck by a supernatural curse. Yuuji got so excited that he dedicated so much research to Pigeon’s musical history about bards and consulted Modric on how to play a flute. He finds it hard to call Nikki as his older sister in Pigeon language because he always refers to her as Nikki-jiejie

* Ceana (the name of the MC here) acts as the voice of reason on the main trio surrounding them, Nikki, and Yuuji. As Yuuji and Nikki are extremely kind people who tend to see the best in people, Ceana reminds them to be wary, especially the ones they’re practically strangers of. But Ceana considers the two of them to be her best friends and has a massive crush on Nikki. Noticing this, Yuuji is very supportive, always helping Ceana whom he sees as like his “neesan” to confess to Nikki and is like the biggest fan and captain of the ship

* Speaking of which, after Nikki and Yuuji become really close thanks to their adventures in Miraland, they start teaching each other their respective languages and its how Yuuji starts calling her as Nikki-jiejie despite being cousins. He also calls Momo as Momo-gege because he mistakenly thought Momo is older than him and even after being corrected, he still sees Momo as his “older brother”. Momo takes it with smug pride and teasingly calls Yuuji as “Little Yuuji”

* Yuuji also becomes much more fond of wearing women’s clothing and the people of Miraland are very encouraging of him exploring his identity through it. He cried tears of joy of Nikki’s encouraging words of how it’s okay for a boy to love to wear women’s clothing and help him on what clothes would he like to wear. Ever since then, he became more fond of wearing dresses and long skirts and trying out more feminine hobbies such as makeup, manicure, and sewing

* Yuuji is extremely close with Aeon and Marina. Despite Aeon’s quiet attitude, both of them see each other as good friends and Yuuji is easily eager to listen to Aeon’s ramblings in regards to Miraland’s history and especially how to utilize Styling Power and Designer’s Reflection. For Marina, Yuuji is very pleased to play babysitter for her and they always skateboard around the Ark, which occasionally Aeon would reprimand them for doing so if they end up disturbing his work hours. Yuuji even nicknames Marina as “Mari-chan” which the young immortal girl easily takes with pride

* Loen and Yuuji got along a lot despite the tension of their first meeting. Yuuji likes how lighthearted Loen is despite being a mercenary and while Loen loves to tease him as if he is his little brother, it doesn’t bother Yuuji much and sees Loen as a great brotherly figure. Loen admires of Yuuji’s bigger determination of saving Miraland, while at the same time concerned of how a teenage boy like him is going around doing politics and getting himself into world-dangerous scenarios when he should be attending school and learning how to design. Still, Loen does what he can to ensure the main four’s safety, most precisely Yuuji as he is even younger than the three of them in terms of maturity and literally

* Yuuji would find Yexiao’s taste of cooking unorthodox food as concerning the same way he does with Nikki. Nevertheless, Yuuji sees her as a good friend and he loves to take care of Yexiao’s cat. If ever he has any doubts, other than Nikki, he would usually go to Yexiao for advice since he finds her to be extremely good at advice and the first time she helped him through his midlife crisis of being controlled by Designer’s Reflection is what made him really attached to her

* Yuuji would unironically hate Mercury. The more the revelations are revealed about Mercury, the more Yuuji ends up hating him with a burning passion especially that Mercury does human trafficking to be shipped to Ruin Island and the whole actual human experimentation. While Yuuji couldn’t also excuse Qin Yi and Lilith, witnessing their Mind Worlds made him extremely sympathetic to them and wants to find a way to talk them out of their mindsets, hoping that he could help them with the massive trauma they suffer through. Also in his opinion, they aren’t as bad as Mercury is despite how they harm so many people and most of their actions from his understanding can chalk up to them wanting to secure their safety in a world that harshly treats them like trash

* While afraid and wary of Zoey at first, Yuuji instantly comes around her after witnessing of how she genuinely does care for them and Miraland’s safety despite her mindset around being strong and her methods of doing so. Zoey in returned is impressed with Yuuji’s superhuman strength and great athleticism, understanding of how much he does what he can to protect Nikki, Ceana, and Momo, so she offers to train him in order to put his skills to good use, which he accepted

* I imagine that for Yuuji’s 18th birthday (it’s debatable for the gang since Yuuji and Nikki are over actually 200 years, but since they never bother to count their actual ages and never celebrate their birthdays in the time loops, they pretend that Yuuji just turned 18), they invited everyone and everyone who knows everyone invites everyone. Its end up being so much larger than what the main four expected that they had to rent out a large venue from Lolory’s recommendation. A lot of the adults also bought alcohol since Yuuji is technically in the legal age to drink and they want to give him his first drinking experience. The kids (AKA Marina, Susan, and William) just have to stay away from the alcohol area. And Yuuji ends up getting so many gifts that they couldn’t even keep all of them in their home in Flowerland. As this is also Yuuji’s 18th birthday, everyone made a long video where they offer their thanks and wishes towards Yuuji and by extension, Nikki, Ceana, and Momo of being great friends who are always there for their troubles and wish them a very peaceful long life. The main four end up really crying of the love and support they receive and vow to themselves that they’ll make sure that Miraland will survive for a better tomorrow

By comparing Noritoshi with Megumi, I figured out that Noritoshi is about 179 cm. BOMM's Y/N is the same height according to your art so they're also 179 cm. And according to your art on the same post. 2021 Noritoshi is about 1 head taller than Y/N, who's 181 cm with their 2 cm high heels. Meaning, Noritoshi is about 202 cm in BOMM.

That being said, he's also taller than Gojo, who's 190 cm and perhaps even as tall as Todo, considering he's 191 cm in 2018.

I’m assuming you got the 179cm from when Noritoshi was 18 in the current jjk timeline (2018)? The first height art I drew was when nori and mc were ~16, so I headcanoned him to be a bit shorter (~170cm ish). Mc wouldn’t have grown during the time skip so they’d just be ~172cm (bc +2cm boots). The present time bomm height difference would be more like this:

I admit I kinda exaggerated the height difference in my art lol so sorry for the confusion 😅. But then again, you can headcanon 21 year old Noritoshi’s height to be as tall as you want.

In the story itself, I don’t mention mc’s exact height (it’s a reader insert, so some things must remain vague). But you can’t escape certain physical descriptions, so I write mc’s height to be within a range between taller than Momo and shorter than Nori.

Utahime Iori

I think I like the reason Utahime is a jujutsu sorcerer through getting promoted even though she knows a jujutsu sorcerer requires she to risk her own life and looking at other deaths. She simply doesn't accept losing in the jjk world.

The fact that her scar has headcanon is due to beheading to completely die and gege also said that this is normal when on duty. Utahime still accepts becoming a teacher and becomes jujutsu sorcerer showing that she is a very strong spirit. She still watch baseball and go drinking

Even though her CT requires teammates and going alone is dangerous, she still takes risks to save Miwa. I think she is also ready to accept risks such as her own death and she is the type of person who will die for others.

That main spirit fits perfectly with her students. Like Todo and Momo, they both risked their own lives to help others without conditions.
