THEM: hi! thanks for the answers I really appreciate the discussion. normally if someone ships something I don’t like or something like that, I’ll just leave them alone but.. just to be clear I completely respect all of your opinions, even agree with some of them, even if we might disagree on the incest and Castiel haha. I’ll touch on your comments about the dub and the Spanish language in a moment. First though

I ’m gonna be real with you, I don’t think you know what death of the author is. Neil Gaiman’s variety of the dead author principal is that once canon ends, the story belongs to those that consume and engage with it. That’s... also literally the theme of supernaturals final season. Anyway I really recommend you read up on death of the author and Neil Gaiman’s takes on fanon. It’s a fun way to consume your media, and in the end that’s what I’m here for.

I don’t care what Misha says, and I don’t care what Jensen says! I think they are both queer because I have eyes and watched the show. I think it’s a lovely narrative that is supported by canon, and it’s fine if you disagree with that

On your last sentence there... lol. It’s a common joke in queer circles that gays can’t sit properly, specifically bisexuals. I am literally cuban. My first language is SPANISH. my entire household speaks Spanish, and my family past 1st cousins don’t speak any English. My Boricua cousins have watched supernatural in full for years, and they watch it in Spanish. Do you think America is the center of the universe? Do you think our media is somehow less than yours, that our interpretations of English language media isn’t valid? What, do you think we are idiots who don’t know how to analyze literature and media? Do you think the people who work at Telemundo, people employed as dubbers and translators, you think they do a worse job than the American crew?

Why, because they aren’t American or don’t speak English? ‘Te amo’ said to a non family member is, in 99% of any instance, ROMANTIC. it’s something you say to your spouse in serious situations like weddings!! Even MARRIED people don’t normally say te amo, everyone uses te quiero unless it is very serious or romantic in context.

All of my family who are Spanish language, they heard dean say ‘y a yo ti, cas’ and think that they were in romantic love. Sorry dude! The United States might be the center of your universe, but Latin America is HUGE. Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the WORLD. In fact, more people speak Spanish than English. Sorry that you seem to hate gay characters SO MUCH you have to say an entire language somehow isn’t valid to consume media in!

Vol. CIII

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Two Worlds. Two Hearts. (Part I)

(13x17/13x18/13x19)

Hello everyone! This meta is gonna have three parts, but one central topic: the ultimate lovers separation. I will detail in here how these two episode were foreshadowing 15x18. Is gonna be one meta per episode, so I hope you like it.

So, let's start...

Feeding grace parallels

Episode 13x17 speaks about an angsty 'Lovers Separation'.

The episode starts with our cute Dean being a goof, because he is feeling so happy, even with his mom kidnapped in another AU, and do you know why? Because Cas is back. And because he's in love with Castiel.

Sam and Dean are searching for the Seal of Solomon, is a reference to a gift given by god to Solomon, the seal contained the tentatram to protect and defeat demons. But, as a divine mention, is talking about the incoming introduction of Chuck in season 14.

Another symbolism of god and divine is the Seventh Division. Number seven represents Perfection and it's related to God.

A couple of nasty parallels we are having with Anael/Luci sharing grace, but also, we have Asmodeus feeding with Gabe, that reminds us Crowley feeding with human blood, or Cas feeding with grace or Sam feeding with demon blood. Anyway, the thing is Asmodeus feeding with Gabe's grace leads him to addiction, just like Sam and Crowley.

Destiel Mirrors

We are in Krispy's Dinner now, we have one waitress named Amy (dressed in red) and one young man named Buck, the cotumer, dressed in blue (hello Destiel mirror).

BUCK: Amy.

AMY: Hey, Buck. Have you decided what you want?

BUCK: Yeah. I’d like to try something different.

JOANNE: Poor Buck. He comes in here bird-dogging after Amy and she won’t give him a simple yes or no.

OMG this is so sad and hilarious at the same time. Related with Castiel answering about a propose to be alive again and Dean giving him the SOLFIER SPEECH like... Okay, Cas is patient and he comes back to Dean everytime, but Dean is always repressing his true feelings and words.

To point with remarkable transcendence Castiel's death and Dean's traumatic mourn at the beginning of season 13, we will have one of the attackers dying in front of the Dean in the same way Castiel died. Stabbed from behind, in the back, with the sharp knife showing off from his chest.

And a quick shot from the camera showing us Dean's terrorized eyes, recalling his trauma.

Now, jumping to the Central scene, Dean is kidnapped by the interdimensional monster using a human vessel, Sandy.

He is kidnapped to use him a a vessel for her lover another monster.

Again, the concept of Dean becoming a vessel, foreshadowing AUMichael's possession.

Sandy's story about how she was separated from her lover is a foreshadow for the ultimate lovers separation in episode 15x18.

YOKOTH: I mean us. It was supposed to be us. Glythur and I, together. But my love…they shut the rift before he could make it through.

DEAN (with maximum sarcasm) Oh my God. That's tragic. It's like a Hallmark movie. But with tentacles.

This lovers separation through the rift, leaving one in this world and the other in another different deme soon is what will happen with Castiel and Dean in episode 15x18. They supposed to be together but they were separated at the end.

Also, the reference to tentacles again is linked to Dean's fantasies and bisexuality. Remember how Jessica the reaper, said Dean has anime about tentacles. Hehehe.

The scene in which Dean is gagged preannounces his future possesion and how he will fell. Also all the tentacles of the male monster trying to posses him i also a foreshadow of Michaelm. And the pornographic alusión, is related with his bi self. 🙈😅

The trauma of losing Castiel is so big in Dean's mind that he decides to rush his travel into the AU world not waiting for Castiel to return, and not even calling him to tell him about it.

Dean runs quickly into the AU, accepting Ketch assistance. Without listen to Sam and trying to do it before Cas returns. To protect his Angel from dying again. Because he just CAN'T LOSE CAS AGAIN. HE JUST CAN'T SEE HIM DIE AGAIN IN FRONT OF HIS EYES.

To Coclude:

This episode foreshadowed the entrance of Chuck in season 14, also Dean's possesion but, definitely, the way the writer will write 15x18, the conclusion in the show for Destiel: Lovers Separation. A tragic Hallmark Movie.

Like, what was even the fake destiheller’s point? That destiel shippers will most likely follow a destiel blog? I mean congratulations lol, can’t really argue??

god I wasn’t even gonna say anything about this because *sad, largely irrelevant blogger who never shuts up about what they hate but was essentially unknown to huge swaths of the fandom because aforementioned irrelevance and general not-niceness* goes so far out of the way to pull an ultimately pointless long con by setting up a blog proclaiming to love the thing she hates, but gears it not toward the active destiel writing/meta/art/gif/creator fandom that I’m part of but toward teens, by pretending to be a teenager and complaining about school and being sad they don’t have more time to blog about the thing they claim to love, while generating very little in the way of original content and largely letting the blog sit there to gather pornbots like dust for three years…

(under a cut, because when I get going I have to make all the points… consider this my personal version of one of the “Let me introduce myself…” memes. I’m actually Andrew Dabb, but only when he’s being interviewed)

I mean… three years… that blog existed, while I’ve been on this hellsite nearly every day during that span and had never even heard of their lil blog– regardless of the number of followers they somehow attracted. I have “liked” over 100k posts, and even if 2/3 of my posts are reblogs (often conversationally, as many of us add thoughts to posts, etc), that still adds up to more than 20k posts I’ve reblogged and still never stumbled across one of her supposedly HUGELY popular blog posts… I mean… the blog was so quiet she literally had to send herself ask messages. So I know those aren’t the sorts of people who are actively participating in the same vast swath of fandom I and the people I follow and interact with every day occupy.

And heck… now I wonder how many of the cringeworthy anons in my inbox may have been from her pretending to be clueless about aspects of fandom that her own comments to herself seemed to be trying to address and just… ew.

(for the record, I don’t generally reply publicly to anons I don’t have wank-free answers for– either wank-free in my opinion, or on topics that generally tend to draw even more wank to my inbox. I do not want my blog to be one of those bitter places filled with half-assed rants and facts I just pulled out of my ass because YEAH LET’S BE CRANKY ABOUT SHIT WE DON’T KNOW ALL THE DETAILS OF will never be my brand…)

(And if you court teenagers to your blog by pretending to be a teenager, most adults will not interact with your blog on purpose, because most adults aren’t creepers… I don’t think I follow anyone under 18, but if I found out I did, I’d probably unfollow unless it was someone I knew or talked with, beause while I’m not a creeper I do my best to be a kind person who doesn’t dismiss young people for being young. But I am an adult, and therefore should know better than to deliberately target people who are younger than my own kid under false pretenses– I will never refuse to give out mom advice if asked even if I’m only a half-assed adult and my advice is to seek out an another adultier adult… whatever, this is going off point…)

Is she somehow deluded into thinking she had most of the destiel people following her? Because I’d honestly never even heard of the blog before today. Some major fandom impact, right? Really showed us what for! >.>

No original content in almost a year, and still gaining followers? I’m betting most of them were bots. Because that’s who follows inactive blogs.

I talk to so many people in this fandom every day, and have for years, and never even registered that blog’s existence before.

So what did she gain? Well, in the aftermath she’s suddenly a hell of a lot less obscure, you know? Every blog that’s posting (yes, often hilarious) stuff today about the incident is basically free real estate for her. She’s in everyone’s head now, even if *we* get that it’s kinda sad and we’re all just a bit skeeved at just what sort of person would spend any of their energy on something they hate so much… I think in her mind, at least we all know her name now. We’re all spending *our* energy not creating actual SPN content today. We’re doing exactly what we accuse *them* of doing all the time. So at least for today, she was not irrelevant.

(I mean, in her own mind, at least…)

That post was like the saddest and most pointless Evol Villain Speech of all time. Like, standing before the gates of the city proclaiming victory while the townspeople go about their business, stopping every once in a while to mutter get a load of that one… what the hell are they going on about now? And then resuming their business as usual because most of us have actually interesting things to dedicate our blogs to. Like content that’s NOT about how dumb the people who aren’t in our particular corner of fandom are.

Which is why I’d been refusing to give her any free real estate here, because sure, have a laugh because wtf, but then just… get over it. Because giving a crap about what “their side” is up to is just as lamentably sad as her giving a crap what *we* are up to, you know?

im thinking k newton is kicking herself now for trying to push herself into the fandom so much bcos she's barely talked about wayward, even when it was airing, i think she's gotten over the hype of it tbh and nowshe's been promoted to a series regular on the new season of big little lies i doubt she's itching to get wayward off the ground where the only other person with a career outside of spn is zack and codys mom.

Miss Newton was simply trying to increase her following numbers on her social media, that’s why she pushed herself hard onto the SPN fandom, pandered to the fetish shippers, and flattered the stars on her accounts because producers will not hire you unless you have at least 50,000 followers. My 15 years old neice is tall and a modeling agency almost signed her up until they asked her about her Instgram account and her followership number. She doesn’t have one because she doesn’t want one so she was immediately shown the door. The quickest way to get social media followers is queerbait shipping because unemployed horny social-justice-whiners spend more time online than the gainfully employed. It remains to be seen if her Destiel pandering has staying power.

Tips for Beginners

Edited/Updated 4-8-19

When typing this title, my phone autocorrected it to “Tips for Whiners” which is hilarious given the circumstances surrounding this post. However, my conscience got the best of me and I decided to title it differently (even though there was peer pressure for the original title). However, not all beginners are whiners (by far) and I figured it wasn’t fair to lump people into a group. Plus, this post is meant to be far more informative and encouraging than it is critical and teasing.

So why write this post? New writers are always looking for help, whether that’s tools to use to get their writing “out there,” wherever that is, ways to improve their writing, or how to develop relationships. They want to build their audience, which means gaining followers and more notes on posts. They seek out help from fellow writers, work on their own blogs, and write--a lot.

However, some new writers fall into traps of jealousy, complaining, giving up, and other negative pitfalls. They become frustrated, then turn their frustration into jealousy or aggression pointed at other, more “established” writers and bloggers. Or they turn away from the community, resign themselves to being lonely forever, convinced that no one likes them. Some whine about not getting notes and followers, they complain about blogging cliques and unfair treatment, and they adopt an attitude of “Woe is me. The blogosphere is against me.”

And I get it, to a certain extent. Writing is hard, and making a place for yourself in a space that is saturated with other bloggers and headed by accounts that can boast thousands, or even tens of thousands, of followers can be intimidating and discouraging. But it doesn’t have to be.

This post is meant to help new writers, or any writers really, by providing both useful tips and reality checks for when you feel yourself becoming too negative. You might find that I come across sassy at times, and that may be true, but at no point do I intend to be hateful or mean. I like to put things plainly while understanding where people are coming from. As an aside, if you don’t like what I have to say, you can stop reading this post at any time. You can also take what works for you and throw out the rest. Nothing here is a blanket statement.

But let’s just get on with it. (And it is a long one)

Tips

Follow lots of writing blogs. Get your name out there. Start getting to know the community. Some people will automatically follow you back. Use hashtags and key words to find people. See who other people follow, and follow those people.

Join Writing groups/Follow advice blogs. Joining these are so helpful, especially when you’re first starting out. They connect you to other writers, they get your pieces exposure, and they offer other kinds of support and advice. Here’s some blogs that I know of for Supernatural specifically

Monthly awards

Reblog submitted fics

Host challenges

Find betas

Find mutuals

Tag fellow pond members

Tagging. Tag. Your. Fics. This gets you exposure to people who are searching for Supernatural fan fiction. The first five tags are searchable, so make use of those. See what the more established writers are using. See what tags are popular. Tag characters, tropes, plots points, pairings, etc.

Mentions. Start building a list of readers who want to be tagged in your pieces. This can be done many ways, but the easiest and most efficient tool that I’ve found is Google sheets to keep track of accounts. Also, look for writers who ask to be tagged and who organize rec lists. Ask other blogs if they care for you to tag them. A lot won’t mind if you’re nice. This will get your writing more exposure.

@mrswhozeewhatsis runs a tag list here where you can find people who want to read the type of fic you’re writing

The Pond runs a list of members you can tag in fics

Reading.

Read other people’s fics, comment on them, reblog them. This may not seem like it helps you, but being generous towards others is a great way to end up helping yourself. It can make you friends. It can make other authors aware of your presence in the writing community. And if it ends up not doing much for you, at least you’ve been a nice person. Participating in the community is key.

Read books when you can. And pay attention to how the author writes. This will improve your own writing. You can see what you like, what you don’t like, styles you want to emulate, and how they build worlds and stories. You will learn new vocabulary and pick up on things that make someone’s writing good.

Challenges. Lots of blogs host these and you can join any of them, most of the time. Some blogs require that you follow them first, some don’t. Either way, joining challenges is fun, it stretches your creativity, and it can gain your work exposure because hosts will reblog your fics and put them on a masterlist. Many blogs host random challenges throughout the year, but there are also “big bangs” if you’re up for writing long fics about your favorite pairings.

Connections. This is one of the most important, most difficult, and often most overlooked tips. You must make friends in the writing community. It’s ok to feel nervous about it, to be shy, or to worry that people won’t like you. We all did at first, but you will be able to make friends if you’re patient. It doesn’t matter who those friends are. It doesn’t matter how many followers these friends have. It only matters that you have them. How do you make these friends?

Message writers about their work. Talk about why you loved it.

Reach out and ask someone to read your work.

Participate in ask games, send nice asks to your favorite authors, participate in other online activities with authors. I host SPN CAH games sometimes, as do other authors. I’ve met lots of new people through those games.

Join open chats. I’ve met some of my best Tumblr friends through chats. These can happen on Skype, Discord, or other online platforms.

Realize that sometimes making a friend just....happens. You’ll hit it off with someone and you won’t know why. Usually this happens because you’ve used one of the above methods to talk to people, or they messaged you first.

Write. Write things you want to publish, write things that no one else will see, write things you immediately delete, write things for only your friends to read. Just, write. This is the only way to improve your writing skills and it will help you grow your blog because people will enjoy your writing more. We all start out kind of crappy, trust me. And we all have to grow. We all go back and read something we wrote months ago and cringe. Yes, even that author that has 5k followers and gets 500 notes on every fic and seems to have perfect stories. Yes, they’ve cringed at their own work. The point, though, is that they’ve grown and worked hard to get where they are and you will have to as well. You can not get better if you don’t write. And you’ll have to write a lot.

Write Better. It’s a hard truth that sometimes what we write isn’t the best quality, but it’s not the end of the world. Nobody’s born an amazing writer and even the best can learn more. Better writing will make it more likely that people will want to read your stories and share them. You can improve your writing by doing some of the following:

Write as much as you can

Read as much as you can

Follow writing advice blogs (!!!)

Find a trusted beta who will work with you to make your stories the best they can be

Now, say you’ve been doing some or all of these things, and you’re not growing as much as you’d like. Maybe you feel like the tips aren’t working for you like they work for other people. Here are some other things to consider, because success isn’t just about numbers.

Are you having fun? Do you enjoy writing? Do you enjoy being on Tumblr? Do you enjoy reading other fics? Do you enjoy being in the fandom? If the answer is yes, and you still love to be on this site posting stories or whatever else you do, then focus on that. Having fun and actually enjoying this is kind of the point.

Do you have friends? Maybe you haven’t made a ton. Maybe you don’t have a huge group of buddies. But do you have someone? Maybe a couple people? If yes, then focus on those friends. Find ways to support each other. Stop pining after the elusive “in-crowd” or “popularity gauge.” It does not exist. There is no clique, just blogs that know each other because they’ve been here awhile

Do you have some interaction on your fics? Maybe you don’t get 500 notes, maybe you don’t even get 50. But what are you getting? You won’t get much at first. That’s just the truth. But eventually, you’ll get something, and then you’ll start getting more. You don’t need tons of reblogs to feel good about your writing. Focus on the comments you do get, reply to them, and thank people for taking time to read your fics. Thank people for liking your fics. Be grateful and count your blessings and all that stuff your mom probably told you growing up.

Now that we’ve talked a lot about what to do, let’s quickly brush over some things NOT to do.

Don’t give up. If writing is something you really, truly enjoy, then keep doing it. If you try it, and find out it’s not really for you, then stop. But don’t stop because you aren’t where you want to be yet. Also, try another platform. Wattpad, AO3, and fanfiction.net are just a few.

Don’t whine, complain, moan & groan. Don’t be that person that constantly whines about how hard you have it. Just don’t. We’ve all had it that hard. And we’ve all had to work hard to get to where we are. Frankly, it makes you sound immature and entitled. Because somehow you think followers and notes and popularity should magically appear to you while the rest of us took months and/or years to build that. Maybe that’s not how you actually feel, but remember... being nice and supportive in the community will get you far with people.

Don’t send hate or rude messages, anon or not. Do I really need to explain this one? What does it gain you, really? Some sick sense of superiority or self-righteousness? A little bit of negative attention? Yeah, it doesn’t get you much then.

Don’t steal work. People will find you out. And then no one will want to read from you again.

The last thing I’m going to talk about is perspective. We all need it from time to time because we get caught up in our own world and what’s happening to us. We forget other people’s experiences and we fail to realize how good we’ve got it or how far we’ve come. But it’s important to have perspective for many reasons. It makes us happier, it gives us patience and quells our frustrations, and it makes the people around us happier because we aren’t being rude to them. So here is some perspective for the writing world.

It will take you months, maybe years. I don’t know how many months it will take you to build your blog to a point where you’re happy with it, but it will take time. Some people take only a few months, others take over a year, maybe more. I wish I could tell you why, but I can’t. It’s just how it is.

There will be people who move faster than you. Story time. I’ve been writing on this blog for exactly a year now. I have 868 followers. (Update two years later, I’m at 2103, so it’s taken me 3 years to get to 2k). But guess what? I have friends who have been writing for less than six months who have almost 2k followers. And I have friends who have been writing about the same time as me who have far more followers than I do. I have gotten frustrated from time to time. It’s only natural. But what I haven’t done is the above things on the “don’t” list. Also, take notice that I said they’re my friends. I actually like these people. I’m not jealous of them.

There will be people who won’t notice you. With big follower and note counts comes lots and lots of notifications. It is easy to miss a comment or a reblog in the midst of that noise. Put personal lives on top of that and more “popular” blogs may have a pretty hard time keeping up with notifications. It’s not fair to them for you to be mad at them for not seeing your particular reblog in the middle of hundreds. And when you reach that point, it won’t be fair for someone to do that to you either.

You will never feel like you’ve “made it” or The Hedonic Treadmill. When you are a small blog, it is easy to look at blogs that have 1k, 5k, and 10k+ followers and feel like they’ve made it. They seem established, they seem to have reached the farthest goals. You aspire to this, and so you feel a huge gap between you and these blogs. You dream about when you reach that point. You dream about how you will feel accomplished and have a sense of finality in your endeavors. “I’ve made it,” you will say. But where exactly is it that you’ve made it to? Newsflash: No matter what goal you reach, you will feel happy about it for a moment and then you will move on and look for the next accomplishment. This is called the Hedonic Treadmill. It’s a common part of life and happens in all areas, including work and school. This is why athletes keep going after winning the olympics or people go back to school to get a second or third Ph.D. The point of all this is that it’s far better to be content where you’re at as you grow than to pine after a goal and place all your happiness and blog-worth on a follower or note goal.

We have a bad judgment of future happiness and sadness. This ties in to the last point. Humans exaggerate both how happy or sad they will feel about a future event. This makes things like reaching 20k followers, for example, seem so amazing and wonderful, but in reality, it’s cool for a little while and then you move on. Basically, we think having these high follower counts and lots of notes on our fics will satisfy us, but it won’t. You may get there and find out that the busyness from Tumblr stresses you out. You may find that you can’t keep up with all the notifications and then you realize you wish you could go back to being smaller. You may suddenly not have so much time to enjoy reading other fics. The grass is greener on the other side and all that. Moral of the story: try to find a way to be happy where you’re at.

Basically, to summarize this giant post, take joy in writing, make some friends, contribute to the community, and focus more on what you do have rather than what you don’t. Realize that everyone, including you, has to do the same hard work to build their blogs. No one else can do it for you. This will make your Tumblr experience so much more enjoyable and that’s what we’re here for, right? To have fun.

Hi everyone!! We reached season 12 with these Chronicles and I'm so happy for that!

Hope you enjoy this season because it had a good amount of Destiel on it. *Coughing* Mixtape *Coughing*

This time I will talk about 12x01.

That's True Love

When Dean is trying to explain to Mary that he's her son, and she's back from death, he makes this travel through his own memories about what John had told him the first time their parents met. And because in his memories, he puts that as a story of one huge true love, he repeats it to her. This is the perfection of what a love story should go.

DEAN Dad told me. March 23, 1972, you walked out of a movie theater – Slaughterhouse-Five. You loved it, and you bumped into a big Marine and you knocked him flat on his ass. You were embarrassed, and he laughed it off, said you could make it up to him with a cup of coffee. So, you went to, uh, Mulroney's and you talked and he was cute and he knew the words to every Zeppelin song, so when he asked you for your number, you gave it to him, even though you knew your dad would be pissed. That was the night that – that you met –

We already know about the parallel with the Mixtape here, as a foreshadow of what Dean will give to Cas, for him, Led Zeppelin is a big part of a great love story. But... There's something more too... That maybe Dean feels identify when he compares his parents first meeting with his own with Castiel.

We are obviously talking about LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT between Mary and John, even if we know Heaven had made that match, the mechanism was at first sight. With this in mind , we just need to recall Dean and Cas first meeting in the barn. Obviously, Dean saw the sparkles, and the hot guy, with intense energy and intense gaze, looking at him deeply, he had a love at first sight his own, right?

He names John as a big Marine and Mary knocked him flat in his ass. Okay, so remember Cas is a soldier, right? A huge, big Chrysler Building height soldier.

'And you talked and he was cute' Okay, this is much about Dean's idea of what love at first sight means, or John told him his mother thought he was cute, which... IDK. But... You talked and he was cute, is like you talked and you fell for him, is more related to Dean's experience about Cas. Cas is cute. The more he met him, the more the thought the angel was cute. And no one can't tell me otherwise.

And when he says Mary gave John her number even against her father's wishes, this is expressing Dean's inner fears of what he feels for another man (Castiel) could be rejected by his righteous father. Even so, he developed these feelings. Even so, he will be presenting this angel/man, the love of his life, later this episode to Mary.

But it talks too about Sacred Oath, a very heavy topic in Castiel's heart, and a very recurrent topic in this season and the incoming seasons too. The forbidden love for Dean.

Mom, he's my angel

This is one of my fav scenes from season 12, the moment in which Dean Winchester presents Castiel to his mother.

Before this we have a beautiful Destiel hug, because Cas was thinking Dean was dead, so when he saw him alive, he gave him this warm and full of emotions hug, in which Dean melts and smile, it looked so domestic, and perfect, and intimate that Mary made that grimace of "WTF?"

And then we had the flustered son trying to mocking his angel because is very difficult to present the love of your life to your mom, trying not to show her how much in love you are? Yes, i'm a sucker for this head canon hahahaha.

And Cas' face is like Uh-Oh my mother in law hahahaha, they made an excellent work here.

I can swear than when Mary said "Angels are watching over you," to baby Dean that time, she wasn't talking about this kind of watching 😏.

Just because is perfect, the list and smirk on Mary's face gave Dean the idea of what she's thinking about, and he gets flustered, and why is he eying Cas? Because he's there, when her mother is recalling sex in the Impala, because, hell yes, baby can effort a hot sex scene between two lovers right? More than be awkward because he's trying not to think in his parents having sex in Baby, but, maybe the so many times he had imagined having sex with his angel there... Okay just let me dream, okay? Is my meta I can allow myself to do that. Hahahaahahah.

Out Of Place

This episode opens the door to the parallel between Mary Winchester and Castiel. Both of them share the fact that they feel out of place in where they're.

Mary because she comes back after 33 years, finding that the life she was living was a lie, and her two sons are now adults, and their actions had repercussions on their present. So she's out of time, and out of place.

With Cas, we will hear him say he doesn't know where he belongs yet, but then we will have Dean saying twice 'Let's go home's to him, the first time in episode 12x12, when Cas almost dies, and the second one in episode 13x06, when Cas comes back from the Empty. Even so, Cas will feel he belongs to a family assuming his role as a father with Jack.

Colors and Foreshadows (Visual Narrative)

And because this is Dabb era, we will be full of visual Narrative, with the image of Virgen Mary and Christ, we have the symbolic representation of Mary Winchester and Jack.

The wardrobe colors chosen for Lucifer's victims are a clue of the end of the season. There was a family, dressed on red (rage and toxic Dean) and there was a woman dead dressed on Pink (Happiness). Maybe showing us Lucifer will kill Cas.

Remember when Dean was talking about his mom and dad first meeting and he mentioned Mary thought John was cute? Well... Let me show you where they made a stop to drink something before keeping searching for Sam...

And because this is Dabb, and we know he loves to use scenario and symbolism, the fruit berry in urban dictionary means CUTE AND COOL GUY. A BERRY GUY. And who's the first we see there? Right. Castiel. So. There you go. Just putting the puzzle pieces together.

We will see a lot of people stabbed by the back, and the knife coming out from the front of the chest (heart), like we saw in this episode when Mary Winchester killed Mrs. Watts.

We saw how the only way to break Sam is through his brilliant mind, Bevelle knew it and used it, and gave us a foreshadow of "inside the mind" we will recurrently see in season 14 with the whole AUMichael!Dean topic.

To Conclude:

The first episode from season 12 have a lot of clues and foreshadow for Dabb era, and a huge introduction of Dean's idea of romance (Led Zeppelin/Mixtape) and hints of Castiel's death and Dean's possession by AUMichael.

Vol. LXXVII

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Bloody Blue

(12x04/12x05)

Hello! Here I am again, after all the spoilers, I'm still alive hehehehehe.

I will try to talk about two episodes today, in Wich we had people dressed in blue dying. As a foreshadow of Castiel's dead at the end of the season.

All the Cas' mirrors

So, more than Dean suffering because Mary is gone, and because he sees a mother and her son being normal, and acting like a real kid, not paying attention to the case and making Sam get on his nerves, I want to talk about Castiel's mirror...

First of all, the woman that enters at the Church with stigmata, is dressed in pink. She dies in front of everyone. As a sacrifice, right? Remember pink is happiness, so is talking about happiness dying for a sacrifice, at the end of the season, is talking about Castiel's death.

The family in this story, with the strict mother, is representing Heaven restrictions, the religion and the repressed forbidden thoughts. So the mother, shows us the Sacred Oath on a very tricky way.

Is also the example of Mary's speech but turned into a wrong interpretation. She didn't want a life full of distractions for her son's, just like Mary, but she was insane, and drove their family into dead.

Magda punishes herself in the dark, is a foreshadow of Castiel in the Empty, suffering a punishment his own head will give him through the voice of the Void.

But she's also a Sammy's mirror, of his younger days, when he had his powers.

Obviously, we will have our Cas mirror (Magda) killed by Ketch by the end of the episode. Of course.

There's croixes all over the episode, the Croix is a symbol of sacrifice and love in Christianity, and we already know which Sacrifice we are talking about, right?

And we had this little hint of Destiel I will share with all of you, remember that Wicca woman Dean thought was the murderer? She ends up giving Dean her phone number... And this was the dialogue between Dean and Sam...

DEAN: She gave me her number, her personal number.

SAM: You were gonna shoot her.

DEAN: Yeah, I know. Kinda weird. Kinda hot. Pfft.

Okay, if this isn't Destiel, idk what it is. Dean stabbed Castiel's, his first intentions were to kill him, so... Destiel is kind of weird and hot hehehehe. Just to make you smile!

Blue Sacrifice

Episode 12x05 'The One You've been Waiting for' brings us again able sacrifice: Ellie.

She enters in her department kissing a boy, she's dressed in blue and the boy in red, but she's not sure about the whole situation, she looks inexperienced and nervous, as if she were doing something forbidden...

ELLIE: Hey. (Giggles) Ooh! (Giggles) Mm. This is – this is fun. I-I don't really ever do this. And everyone's like, “Watch out for the hookup culture, Ellie.” Mmm! I think they just worry 'cause, you know, I-I just got out of a relationship. Um, but no, no, I gave – I gave back the ring, so that's just – that's all – that's a good thing, right? (Nick pauses to look at her in between her statements)

See how this is so Cas here, "Watch out for the hookup culture" is the Sacred Oath again, when Lucifer will say DAD IS WATCHING in episode 12x23, not just talking about what we will know Chuck is doing, but because the Sacred Oath and the shame of be involved with a human means to an angel.

Also, when she mentions she broke up with someone, is the break between Heaven and Castiel.

ELLIE: Yeah, but, like...I could – I could be cooler, let's be honest. 'Cause, you know, like, your beard, it's super cool. Uh, do you want a drink?

Here is a very important point in Cas' POV, he feels he should be more because Dean is a strong and smart hunter, and he feels he needs to be like him to deserve him. Remember episode 12x03 when he tried to imitate the boys, brushing his hear in the mirror before entering a house to interrogate that woman with Crowley? Yep...

And who will be the sacrifice for the Nazis? To make Hitler come back? Yep, Ellie, Castiel's mirror.

But she's also the representation of Kelly (Kind of what I call a switch mirror) because the bad guy will tell her that they just need her blood, just like Lucifer will use Kelly to give birth his son: Jack.

Finally, I want to talk about Dean and his ship, because... We already talked about this in the fandom, I just want to point the writers know, and we know, that ship is our ship, Destiel, and we will see it twice in this season, a crash or drop of our ship, our ship will be in danger when Cas die, hehehe. Look at Dean trying to save it!

To Conclude:

This is a begining of a many blue dressed people dying (Castiel's mirror) as a foreshadow of what will happen to our angel at the end of the episode.

We have Dean dealing with his mourning of the child's idea of what Mary represents in his head and the actual picture of a human, mature, full of fails mom he has just met.
