If anyone asked Nooroo, he would tell them his life was perfect. Almost.

Gabriel adored him, fawned over him, and took care of him. He had everything he needed and more.

Except his siblings. Except for the Miracle box.

Gabriel had locked the Peacock away after Emilie had been killed for using it. He didn't even have Duusu to chat with.

But Gabriel took care of him. That was all he should ask for.

Paris was so sad; so many people were isolated in their own little bubbles by the actions of the Supreme. Shut down, locked away. Even Adrien, who had been a sweet baby and a sweeter toddler, had pulled away.

The storm inside of him was growing, and Nooroo worried that it might swallow him whole one of these days. It was the one thing that Gabriel wouldn't listen to him about.

Adrien was a mistake. His biggest mistake - or maybe it was the twins entirely. Felix, gone. Adrien drowning in front of them.

Gabriel wanted to fix it. He loved Nooroo, and Nooroo loved him back.

He just wished there was more they could do.

It only took a bit of listening to Tikki and Marinette’s back and forth for Alya to fully and completely let her guard down. It had been a day. One of the days of all time, truly, and she was more than ready for it to end. But…

“Felix,” she said. She avoided looking at him, not sure she wanted to see an almost grown man after he wet himself, and instead stared at Marinette and Tikki, still bickering like toddlers. “Felix, I know you’re alive. Answer me.”

Only a muffled snivel greeted her in reply, and she sighed. She had just one last thing to do before she could finally head home and take a much needed nap, yet here went another Agreste (adjacent) making it harder for her.

“Man, forget you,” she decided. “Duusu, you there?”

Duusu appeared beside Felix and zoomed across the park like she hadn’t seen the outside world in forever. Alya thought back to the kwami’s circumstances and cringed. Maybe they should have tried harder to recover her. “I’m here! Hi everyone!!!”

Every single hero on the park floor groaned as if they were still waking up but all gave a little wave. Alya caught Plagg’s hulking form asleep by Juleka’s twitching foot, and she smiled in his direction.

“Duusu, could you do me a favour?” She asked. The kwami immediately stopped flying around and turned to face her. Her giant mouth was deep set in a frown, and her empty eye sockets were narrowed so much, they were practically closed.

“Fuck off. I’m never doing anything for you atrocious humans ever again. This bitch is done with being used and abused.”

What a steep change in attitude. Jeez, what did her past owners do to her? Alya looked over at Felix, who was still crying in a puddle of his own pee. Then she thought back to Gabriel Agreste, a man who would rather hurt those around him than ask anyone for help regarding his– Oh fuck!

“Emilie is still in the basement!”

“Who is where?”

This had the be the hardest design ever, first I was so ready to cut this unification out of the story just like the Butterfly/Peacock because colors are so painful to figure out. This unification was hard mainly because I couldn’t figure out how to add all the designs together and make a decent design but that was so hard to do. Thank God for pintrest. I was tempted to give her a mask till I realizes that all of Marinette’s forms using a different Miraculous are totally different from her civilian identity so there was no need for a mask.

Persephone is a powerful Unification, combined with the Ladybug Miraculous she is more dangerous than Monarch himself. The power to create, manipulate emotions, and transform people is at the tips of her fingers. Can’t say anymore otherwise it would spoil the story :)

Just like Bleu Celine, Celine Titania, and Titania. Persephone can take off her dress and fight, she has poisonous daggers hidden all over her body and the fan, yo-yo, and cane are strapped to her hip underneath her dress. The real Peacock and Butterfly Miraculous are hidden in her hair under her hat. The ones that can be seen are fakes.

Kwami Stuff (Main Seven, since that's what I have the most ideas for. Though if you ask nicely I can talk a lot about what happens to folks who wield the Bunny Miraculous.)

Kwamis are... interesting. Physical manifestations of concepts, they don't really work like humans. This also means they don't think like humans. This can be a dangerous thing to work with, if a person isn't careful.

This is a collection of short bits from each of the main seven Kwamis' perspectives. Hopefully, this should give you some idea of what they each are like.

Tikki

Tikki is the Ladybug, the Queen of Creation. She cannot change her nature, to create and imagine. She does not wish to. She cannot think of another thing she could be. She was never meant to be able to.

She is creation, and creation is her. She does not get to be separate. Sometimes, she wishes her wielders could understand, as she doesn't think they have a way to. Other times, she knows well that it would be too dangerous.

She loves them, the mortals, the humans. They partake in her being so freely. If she were anything else, she might wish to be them.

But she cannot wish for such a foolish thing. Tikki is creation, and creation is her.

Plagg

Where creation goes, destruction follows. That is the explanation given for Plagg's existence, along with the explanation given for his sister's.

Plagg is similar to his sister. He knows better than her just what the consequences of wishing for foolish things are, though. He has to clean up her messes.

He likes his new wielder, somewhat. The boy seems to light up at the idea of getting to disobey his father, even for a moment. He understands quite well. Though he is Destruction, he is also Chaos, a perfect mirror of his sister in every way. His sister likes rigidity, everyone following their planned path. He could not live like that. He knows his sister could not understand his wielder's desire for freedom. She is not meant to.

Perhaps, that is why he was chosen for this boy.

Trixx

Once, the humans called them the Prince of Illusions. They were wrong. Illusions are but one aspect of Trixx's being, and they are not a Prince.

Manipulation seems to be the best word the humans have for them now. They like the sound of that, especially once they learn once the word means. It encompasses far more than just paltry parlor tricks like illusions, encompasses much more of their being.

Still, the Guardians insist upon calling them the Prince of Illusions, and Trixx remains quiet. There is no convincing humans like these, too caught up in their traditions to listen to anyone.

Their wielder, though they hate the term, understands their problem. She has gone far too long with people trying to fit her into a box that has never fit her, and is ecstatic to discover just what the two of them are capable of achieving.

Perhaps this partnership will be beneficial, after all.

Wayzz

A guardian must be strong, no matter what they guard. This is what Wayzz has known for his entire existence. So why, then, has his miraculous been given to the most pathetic child he has ever seen? This child doesn't look like he can hold his own at all.

Still, the determination on his face tells Wayzz everything he needs to know.

A guardian must be strong, but what use is strength if there is nothing to guard?

Still. He hopes this child shapes up to be useful.

Nooroo

It is impossible for anything to survive without changing. Perhaps that's why Nooroo exists. He's never been one for hypotheticals and philosophical musings, though. He prefers to do things.

He hates this stasis he is trapped in. Waiting and waiting for a single thing to go the way his wielder wants it to go.

He knows that Gimmi doesn't like granting wishes. He also knows how many Gabriels have already made this wish.

Each different, but still the same. Each broken somehow.

He knows that this Gabriel is changing, though. He watches as his wielder lingers before closed doors he doesn't yet have the courage to open and smiles. Even that much change is enough to survive.

Duusu

Duusu doesn't remember much, not really. She knows what she is, and she knows that Nathalie cares for her, but she can't remember what happened before.

Duusu knows that Nathalie is changing. Becoming more like her. She wonders if being like her is what hurt the one before so badly. It's not a question she can linger on, though. It's hard to linger on much.

The damage to the "Miraculous" damaged her body as much as her mind, and she can see that same damage taking it's toll on Nathalie.

Nooroo tries to talk to her sometimes, and she knows the others do too, but she can barely remember who she is.

They say she is better than Nathalie, but she doesn't feel it.

Pollen (Name Pending)

It's important to know things, no matter what you are. Human, animal, kwami, it doesn't matter. Pollen doesn't care. Knowledge is knowledge, no matter what comes with it.

Her wielder is interesting. Certainly like her already, so willing to find and use knowledge to her advantage. She knows more than anyone realizes, and she knows very well how to convince someone to listen to her already.

Perhaps, with Pollen's guidance, her wielder can become much better at it. Perhaps, she can learn far more than she thought she could.

What is the difference between the powers of the Butterfly Miraculous in the Crimson and Noire AU and in the canon? Like, Nooroo is the kwami ​​of Transmission in canon but in the AU, he is the kwami ​​of Generosity. And while Gabriel can take away the powers that he gave to people whenever he wants in canon, Nathalie can't take away the powers that she gave to people when she wants in the AU.

Okay, this is going to be a long explanation because I have a lot of headcanons about this, so the very short version of this whole post: Since akumatization is a selfish act and Nooroo is Generosity in my AU, he and his holders cannot manipulate akumatization fully as it falls outside of his concept.

So basically nearly all kwamis in my fics fall either into positive energy (like Tikki's Creation) or negative energy (Plagg's Destruction). Nooroo is a positive energy kwami, and is specifically linked to Creation. Basically Generosity is a subset of Creation, and Nooroo's existence stems from Tikki. So Tikki and her holders can manipulate all positive energy, while Nooroo and his holders are only able to manipulate positive energy linked to Generosity.

So Nooroo's powers are basically the same as in canon-- he and his holders can sense those in need of help, they send a butterfly to grant them powers to help, and the champion helps them out in return-- but the limits of Nooroo's abilities and what he can do are all based around Generosity in my story and not just transmitting powers.

So Nooroo can help those in need, can grant them powers, and for this act of Generosity the champions can use their powers to help the holder in return. It's an equal trade off, one of complete giving that helps both parties, and as long as things stay this way Nooroo and his holders have full control over this Generosity.

There are two ways this connection can be broken. One way is what we see in canon-- the champion (or akuma) rejecting the gift given to them and refusing to help the Butterfly holder. Refusing or declining the gift of the Butterfly will shatter the connection, and there will no longer be a link between the two. The second basically is the same as the first, where the holder refuses to help their champion or give them powers specific powers that they need, where again the link will be broken and there is no champion. So the powers granted are always based on the akuma's needs, and not what the holder wants.

Akumatization is basically a loophole of sorts in my AU. Nathalie is acting out of selfishness, but she is still being Generous. She is granting the holders powers they want, she is letting them reach their goals, and they are helping her in exchange. But the akumatization process itself, the twisting of the champion’s mindset and emotions, is all selfish, and ultimately is against what the champion would truly want when not under the influence of the akuma butterfly. This turns the energy of the butterfly into negative energy once it is fully merged with the champion, which falls outside of Nooroo’s control of positive energy.

So the gifting of the powers to the akuma is still technically Generous, and both parties are still working to help each other, so the link between holder and champion along with the powers are still in place. But removing the powers would require manipulating and removing the negative energy, which Nooroo and his holders can't do. So the only way to remove the powers would be for the akuma to reject them, or for the akumatized item to be broken.

I hope that makes sense. :)

Oh, also one other difference between my Nooroo and canon Nooroo is that the holders don't have to use real butterflies like Gabriel does in the show, they can create butterflies of energy just like how the Ladybug Miraculous can create the Miraculous Ladybugs.
