*WARNING! - BRAGGING ALERT!* I DID IT ! My virtual walk from Lands End to John O’Groats. Back on the 27th February this year I started recording my dedicated walks. This didn’t include all the daily steps and walking done in the house, the office or anything under 20 minutes. I thought it was today, after my 40 minute stroll on this beautiful -1°c 🥶 morning. Slip sliding on the icy paths I arrived at the Swan Shopping Centre, that I had completed the 1306.35km, that’s 811.9 miles in old money. It was actually yesterday that I completed it. I had forgotten to link my December sheet to the summary. 🤦🏻 OK. That’s enough back slapping. Time to turn around and walk back. Death of Kings Bernard Cornwell What a cracking read The Burning Land was. The twists and turns. I love that there are differences between the book and the TV series (I loved The Last Kingdom). Some characters in the book do not feature in depth like they do in the books. Next up is Death Of Kings and I cannot remember if I got as far as this the first time round. I know after this that every book in The Warrior Chronicles will be new reads for me. I’m hoping at some point that the books will feature Brida more like she is in the TV show.
