What do you think about Natasha? Is she still Kate’s stylist? I really love Kate’s style but feel like she does need a new stylist with fresh ideas

Kate's style really evolved quickly a few years ago but has become quite predictable again. I'd love to see her freshen it.

Princess Iman's New Tiara

Princess Iman of Jordan wore a new tiara for her wedding to Jameel Thermiotis yesterday. I absolutely love the tiara. Modern tiaras can be kind of hit or miss and this one is beautiful and suits Iman perfectly.

The tiara has a modified fringe design with a row of navette cut diamonds underneath a row of pear cut diamonds and Arabic script on each end. Thanks to @lovingtheroyals and @arabianroyalagencyfor confirming that it's Arabic script and figuring out that one of the words is Allah. I think the script is different on each side so it probably says something altogether. I wish I could get a better view of the ends without the veil in the way.

Princess Iman's mother, Queen Rania, also has an Arabic Script Tiara that was made by Yan Sicard of FRED in 2005. @lotuslioness and @malkalaila translated it as saying "to Allah greatness" so it's possible Iman's tiara says the same thing.

Now that we've gotten a better look at the tiara, it is absolutely not my first guess of the Joséphine Valse Impériale Tiara by Chaumet (top left) and it is also not @arabianroyalagency's first guess of Princess Muna's Fringe Tiara (bottom right). Several online news sites are saying that Princess Iman wore a Chaumet tiara that belonged to her grandmother, Princess Muna. I think that they are just combining both of our original speculation as fact and now that one has said it the others are just repeating it. I guess that's what I get for posting my clearly labeled speculation on Twitter instead of staying in my own little corner of the world here on Tumblr.

I don't think we're going to get confirmation of the tiara's designer like we did for the dress (Dior) because it's beneficial for the JRF for people to think that it belonged to Princess Muna and is not a new tiara. It is possible that it was made using diamonds from older jewelry that belonged to Princess Muna or another member of the family but it would have had to have been completely taken apart and remade. Either way it is a beautiful tiara that I absolutely was not expecting yesterday and I'm even more excited for her brother, Crown Prince Hussein's, wedding to Rajwa Al-Saif in June.

american here, i don't get it either! i've mentioned casually i don't like diamonds and for some reason i get the "ohhh, poor baby doesn't know what she's talking about, you'll want one some day" like NO. they're bland and ugly and over priced. give me a colored sapphire, a ruby, a pearl, anything but a diamond.

I like clear stones because they go with everything, so I like diamonds, but they are waaaay overpriced and not a good investment. I’ve seen (usually from ‘merican audiences) stuff like a girl with a morganite engagement ring and people commenting how she “settled” for that and it just rubs the wrong way. Like, that’s all you want from your fiance? An overpriced stone? And if it’s not expensive and big enough then it’s ok to complain? Yikes. I basically like almost everything! I think sapphires are great for everyday use because they are durable stones and they come in basically every colour!

Anything that can negatively impact children in the spotlight, even in the smallest way, is never harmless, and everything about Gary Janetti is harmful. I also never knew people were actually speculating George's sexuality and I'm just [insert angry panda flipping over a computer gif]

I agree. You can make an argument about them being public figures but kids are kids. I can’t say that I personally would commission a show like this. Lots of meme accounts just don’t work in other formats anyway

Yeah I follow a.tiara.a.day on instagram and thought it was super weird and suspect that she "found" info on the tiara right after I had just seen a post by @royal-hair​ explaining how she found her info about the mystery tiara. I thought she would have given credit but instead she gave explanations that were so strange. It's a shitty thing to do to someone and it's even shittier to make up these alliterate names just to purposely not give credit where it's due.

I don’t really follow royal accounts on Instagram, and I didn’t know this happened until a good soul told me about it. The whole text is just weird and the made-up names just rubbed me the wrong way. It isn’t that hard to say that someone othe than yourself found something...

Hello! I've always wondered what the DoC Camilla will wear then Charles is King. From what I've heard public sentiment towards her isn't very good--I fear her wearing any new tiaras will face backlash even though they'll belong to her husband. I've wondered for some time now if she's been keeping the Delhi Durbar and Teck Crescent tucked away for that reason--because QEII loaned them to her already, wearing them as consort wouldn't get much backlash. What are your thoughts in the matter?

I’m not British so I don’t know what the public sentiment really is but I don’t think it’s as bad as it used to be.  I like the Duchess of Cornwall and I think she wears tiaras well so I want to see her in them.  She is absolutely within her right to wear all of the tiaras but I can see how it might be wise to rest some of Queen Elizabeth II’s iconic pieces for a while.  QEII is so beloved that wearing her tiaras, in particular the Girls of Great Britain & Ireland Tiara, soon after her passing may not be taken well.  Even without the Girls there are still many tiaras that are not as strongly associated with QEII that Camilla could wear like the Oriental Circlet that she’s only worn once or the Double Meander Tiara that’s she’s never worn.

I never really thought about her not wearing the Delhi Durbar and Teck Crescent now so that she could bring them out as queen.  I’d rather her wear them now and then also wear them as queen.  I think the reason is more likely that they don’t fit her well and the Greville Honeycomb is more comfortable to wear.

I think that negative stories will be written regardless of what she does.  Her not wearing QEII’s tiaras could result in made up articles about how the powers that be decided she wasn’t good enough for them or QEII forbade her from wearing them.  It’s really a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation so you might as well wear whatever tiara you like.

it definitely makes me wonder what other posts she's lied on. Would reporting help any? Or exacerbate the issue? Could I even report it as plagarism?
