GIRL HELP Keigo with his babies...

The way they follow him like ducks in a row, cuz daddy's a superhero! But not in the way the rest of the world sees him.

He's a superhero because he makes a show of flipping their pancakes without letting them fall, because any booboos magically stop hurting the second he kisses them, and he protects them from all the nightmares that try to take his babies away.

Keigo's a superhero to his babies because the shadows on their bedroom wall are scary, but the puppets he makes with his hands and a flashlight to fight the monsters away are even scarier!

They spend the longest time convinced their dad's quirk is superstrength. I mean, he can carry both his babies at the same time! How cool is that? Surely, he must be superhuman! It doesn't help that you feed into their little stories, winking and whispering to them that your husband is just being modest when he denies how strong he is.

It's not exactly a lie, and you know Keigo will hear you when you say it. He hides his smile in his sleeve across the room.

You have an analysis of Luke's clothes, but aren't these the same clothes he wears in the first trilogy? I remember Eternal Diva takes place between Last Spectre and Miracle Mask. Any thoughts on this?

As a matter of fact, I was wondering exactly that! I was waiting to see if the frames offered another clue, but let's try and tackle this.

If what you've said is true, that means this movie does take place pre-Miracle Mask. Let's analyse his clothes for those games, for the exercise.

Last Specter:

This is Smol Luke. He's so tiny omg. But he's notably not wearing a blue jumper, which is what he's wearing in the frame. He's wearing a newsboy cap, which is easily identifiable by the button at the top. His trousers are blue and not green, and his suspenders are green, not brown. Most notably, though, is his size and hair horns. They're slightly angled downwards from his 1st trilogy look. He's also shorter. Like, that's significant.

Miracle Mask:

He has changed a bit here: he's wearing a blue vest/waistcoat and green trousers. Quite curiously, we can't see his big brown buttons of his white shirt. His hair has moved upwards this time, but just slightly at the tip.

And, as we know, his jumper-I-don't-fix-my-suspenders look comes from the first trilogy.

It is rather pretty obvious that we are seeing first trilogy Luke in the Eternal Diva frame (bunched trousers, blue jumper, big brown button, flatcap, suspenders not correcly worn, sharper horns). What could this mean?

If we eliminate the impossible, we arrive at this: the frame is taking place during the 1st trilogy timeframe. But, if the Eternal Diva takes place during the 2nd trilogy, this raises some contradictions.

I do have a theory, with the minimal information we have at the moment. I suspect we are in some Random, Insignificant Investigation and Layton is about to drop the "Luke, my boy, remember the Diva case from some years ago?" and Luke will be like "Professah, yeah, but why bring it up now?" and then the screen will shake and some whimsical sound effect will play, and the entire movie is a flashback.

inch resting.... on page 10 of new issue, when corm is distressed thinking about his sister. obviously its his father's paws hanging down, covered in blood. but you could also interpret them to be magpie's paws. he doesn't want to admit they might be dead, and so the body is offscreen where he can't see it. I thought that was cool

That is a neat interpretation I hadn't thought of! Thrasher and Magpie do have the same paw patterns, and with lighting it could be hard to tell gray apart from black. Corm probably often wonders what happened to Patridge and Magpie after they ran away, and what became of them.

This may be a silly question, but what does the acronym TMAGP actually stand for??

oh that's easy, Thousands Many-legged Ants Give-a Performance

(rlly, it's just The MAGnus Protocol! tmp was taken and i didnt like the look/sound of tmap (its not 'the map' smhsmh). Tma episodes are labeled as 'MAG###' so tmagp keeps a bit of that in as well. And a 5-letter acronym is v unlikely to cause a tagging conflict with another fandom in the future, esp with that G in there)

I used this post as a chance to post the big-picture basics of his lore, so I’ll use this as an excuse to talk about some more random/niche details!! (you will need the big lore to understand some of these lmao)

putting it under a cut again because I am truly physically incapable of talking about my ocs without going off the walls beserk and writing an entire essay

when Dimitri tried to escape the Weavers, one of the ways the Broodfather punished him was by branding him with the Weavers’ symbol, like marking cattle. even now, he still has that huge ugly scar on his back, a lingering message from the Broodfather. a reminder that the Weavers - and by extent, the Broodfather himself - own Dimitri. as far as he runs, he can never fully escape them…. :D

it looks kinda like this btw ^^^

the golden snake arm band on his arm (meant to be a reference to jörmungandr) is a gift from his patron Loki, and acts as his arcane focus. it’s more than that though - it’s part of his link to Loki, and through it Loki can exercise his will. the snake has a tendency to come alive, winding and coiling its way up Dimitri’s arm. sometimes when Loki wants to remind Dimitri of his place or express displeasure, the band will subtly tighten, acting as a silent warning. nobody in the party has ever noticed his flinches of pain, however.

(I actually did an extremely rough animation of this at one point lmao ^^^)

when he worked for the Weavers, he acquired the nickname/alias of “the Magpie”, acting as a masked thief that stole everyone’s shiny shit and pissed everyone off (hence the name). this also led to the Broodfather referring to him with this nickname a lot, particularly calling him things like “little magpie” or even “my lovely little magpie”. (and yes, it’s meant to be creepy, Dimitri is like 12-17 in this era). after he left the Weavers to serve Loki, he shed the alias completely. naturally, half of my motivation for this was to make him even more of a Cool Edgelord™️ (can you tell I like the movie The Crow?) but the other half was specifically so that me and my DM could have a phrase we could drop in to any dialogue as a way to instantly call back to his backstory or to create a shock factor (because it’s a trauma trigger for him, it freaks him the fuck out to hear people call him that again). let me tell you, getting to hear THAT one name-dropped for the first time was VERY fun in game. (one of these WIPs is trying to capture that scene actually).

ok enough angst, let’s unwind with some silly stuff 😌

he canonically invented waffles in his universe. (I know I’ve mentioned it a million times, but it is my favorite fun fact about him. I can’t express how funny it is to me.)

there have been at least two verified, specific instances of Dimitri jerking it. it’s official canon.
