The Great Race
I'm sitting here on a Monday afternoon, watching The Great Race, and I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who thinks Maggie DuBois should have walked away with Professor Fate instead of The Great Leslie.
He at least recognized that she was a fellow agent of chaos, and I don't think he gave a damn that she was a woman, so long as she could win the race for him.

Some of my contributions to @soapkaars Wacky Races/Boardwalk Empire AU, because I went kind of insane with it. (My city now.) I do provide the HB knowledge and he does the history legwork.
Info under the cut.
Richard Milhous ‘Dick’ Dastardly and Max ‘Red Max’ Richthofen
Two WWI army vets who served together in the Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte and after the war ended up in America in hopes of starting anew, only to end up working as bootleggers and taking part in illegal races. Both of them are hired by Sylvester Sneekly and are actually proving their worth with Max winning the first race (only, because his boyfriend let him, we all saw See-Saw to Arkansas, right??). Too bad it also got him a bullet in the gut after boasting his victory to the wrong person. He’s gonna be fine tho, don’t worry. He’s a soldier he can walk it off.
Freddy 'Lil Gruesome' Loran
What if Gyp Rosetti was played by Peter Lorre? Well, that’s how you get Lil’ Gruesome in the Boardwalk AU. Just as insane and a sore loser, who is absolutely not taking that second place too well (again, canon, as the Creepy Coupe came in second place, twice in a row actually, which is great because it lines up well for the AU). Currently pending who he works for (if we can’t come up with anything better I will make him work for Dr. Bigot as a joke, and yes, that’s a real HB character lol), but in any case he starts a turf war first.
Penelope Pitstop and Sylvester Sneekly
Penelope took a sip of the Maggie DuBois The Great Race emancipated women’s juice and is now a suffragette, who will stop at nothing to prove that women can be anything if they want to be, even bootleggers. After her dad gets taken out, she becomes the heiress to the Pitstop fortune and will use it how she pleases, and will take part in the races, much to the charging of her guardian Sylvester Sneekly, who has to put up with the insane Florida woman shenanigans (yes, she’s from Florida, which explains a lot lol). Man is very close to snapping, but for now he will try to keep his cool until he can figure out a way to get his hands on the Pitstop money.

movie question asks: 2 and 15? :)
Thank you @unwillingadventurer for the movie asks!
Movie Questions Ask Game:
2. What was your favorite film as a child? It was definitely Blake Edward's The Great Race (1965). My parents had recorded it on Betamax tape. It had amazing colour saturated picture quality even though few scratches were captured. To use the VCR was a mission every time because fast forward and fast rewind weren't functioning normally. Sometimes the player used to rewind until you slapped it. Sometimes several slaps were needed so you started watching frowning and hand hurting. Jack Lemon as Professor Fate, Tony Curtis as The Great Leslie (his name need to be pronounced with thick American accent), Natalie Wood as Maggie Dubois and Peter Falk as Maximilian Meen are stuck in my head. I loved the adventurous story and the dialogue, Lemon's moustache and grumpiness, Wood's Daisy-doll-like dresses, Curtis's whole white outfit, Henry Mancini's music and oh my the sword fight scene.
15. What is the funniest movie you've seen? The funniest movie must be Three Men and a Baby (1987). I watched it last winter and noticed the parts, which used to make our older sister laugh and that made me laugh: Tom Selleck trying to get the police alarm from streets turn down by standing in front of the window arms outstretched and a pillow in one arm 😂 naturally the hairy chest revealing from open shirt. All that 1980's way of thinking what is trendy. A relaxed life-style of single men turning upside down with a surprise baby and yet trying to find a partner in their life.

Hello i'm here for your free reading, my question how many children will i have and (the gender if you don't mind) my inicial is S
Thank you
Hi S,
For you I see two children, possibly twins.
The eldest child with these oracle cards would be a curious and introspective individual who possesses a blend of sensitivity, independence, and a deep desire for personal growth. Let's explore the interpretation of each card and how they contribute to the archetype:
You can never have enough flowers: This card suggests a love for beauty, nature, and the desire to nurture and care for living things. The child archetype may have a gentle and compassionate nature, appreciating the small wonders of the world.
333, angel numbers: These numbers often symbolize spiritual growth and divine guidance. The child may have a strong sense of intuition and a connection to higher realms, seeking to understand the deeper meanings behind life events.
Actions speak louder than words: This card signifies the importance of deeds over mere words. The child archetype may be more action-oriented, preferring to demonstrate their thoughts and emotions through their actions rather than verbal expression.
ISTP: ISTPs are known as "The Virtuoso" or "The Craftsman." They are practical, observant, and independent individuals. The child may have a strong sense of self-reliance and enjoy exploring the world through hands-on experiences.
Birth, birthday: These cards emphasize the concept of new beginnings and personal growth. The child may have a sense of wonder and excitement about their own development and progress.
Throat chakra: This chakra is associated with communication and self-expression. The child may have a sensitive and expressive nature, with a willingness to listen and communicate openly with others.
The Hermit: This card represents introspection, solitude, and seeking inner wisdom. The child may have a contemplative nature, valuing moments of solitude to reflect on their thoughts and feelings.
Anastasia Romanov, Maggie Dubois, Catalina Usme: These figures represent strength, resilience, and unique talents. The child may be inspired by these strong role models and aspire to discover their own passions and talents.
6 of Pentacles: This card signifies generosity and the importance of giving and receiving. The child may display a kind and sharing nature, finding joy in helping others.
Octopus, sea angel: These symbols may represent adaptability and a connection to the depths of emotions. The child may possess a fluid and intuitive nature, capable of understanding and navigating complex emotions.
Social media: This card suggests a modern connection to technology and communication. The child may be familiar with and interested in using social media platforms to express themselves and connect with others.
Vegetarian: This trait signifies a compassion for animals and the environment. The child may be empathetic and caring, choosing a vegetarian lifestyle out of concern for all living beings.
The Fool: This card represents innocence, spontaneity, and the start of a new journey. The child may approach life with an open heart, unafraid of taking risks and embracing new experiences.
The World reversed: Reversed, this card may indicate a sense of incompleteness or challenges related to growth and development. The child may be on a journey of self-discovery and finding their place in the world.
Scorpio: Scorpios are known for their intensity, determination, and emotional depth. The child may possess a strong will and be in touch with their emotions, seeking to understand themselves and others on a profound level.
Orpheus and Euridice: This myth revolves around love, loss, and the power of music. The child may have a sensitive and compassionate nature, finding inspiration in stories of love and resilience.
Gender interpretation: The interpretation of gender based on these cards is not explicitly provided. These cards and their attributes can apply to individuals of any gender. The archetype described is more about the child's personality, character traits, and interests rather than their gender. They may be a "tomboy" or a more feminine boy, or non-binary, etc.
In summary, the child with these oracle cards is a curious and introspective individual who possesses a blend of sensitivity, independence, and a deep desire for personal growth. They may have a gentle and compassionate nature, seeking to explore and understand the world through hands-on experiences. The child may also be in touch with their emotions, possess a strong sense of self-reliance, and have a connection to higher realms or spiritual growth.
Another message from the eldest child,
"darling, terrible things will happen and terrible things will pass. You have to believe in the moments of quiet. You have the believe in the healing.
For the second child,
The archetype for the child with these oracle cards would be a determined and resilient individual who experiences moments of introspection and growth. As for gender interpretation, these cards do not explicitly point to a specific gender but I am getting more masculine energy, so the archetype can be applied to children of any gender. Let's explore the interpretation of each card and how they contribute to the archetype:
7 of Pentacles: This card represents patience and the need to wait for the fruits of one's labor to manifest. The child archetype may be persistent and hardworking, willing to invest time and effort in achieving their goals.
Meg March: Meg is a character from "Little Women" known for her practicality and sense of responsibility. The child may embody similar traits, being dependable and responsible within their family or social circle.
Colour black: Black is often associated with mystery, protection, and strength. The child archetype may have a mysterious or strong-willed nature, showing resilience and determination in the face of challenges.
8 of Swords: This card signifies feelings of being restricted or trapped. The child may experience moments of self-doubt or uncertainty, needing to overcome obstacles to find their path forward.
Ground yourself: This card advises staying connected to one's roots and finding stability. The child may benefit from grounding practices to find balance and clarity amidst life's challenges.
Scarlett O'Hara: Scarlett is a character from "Gone with the Wind," known for her resourcefulness and adaptability. The child may possess a strong survival instinct and the ability to navigate difficult situations with resilience.
Waning Gibbous Moon: This phase represents a time for evaluation and introspection. The child may go through periods of self-reflection and personal growth, learning from their experiences.
The colour Indigo: Indigo is associated with intuition and inner wisdom. The child may have a strong sense of intuition and be attuned to their emotions and the emotions of others.
In summary, the archetype for the child with these oracle cards is a determined and resilient individual who experiences moments of introspection and growth. They are hardworking and patient, willing to invest effort into achieving their goals. The child may also be practical and dependable, taking on responsibilities within their family or social circle. They might experience moments of self-doubt or uncertainty but possess the resourcefulness and adaptability to overcome challenges. The child's strong intuition and ability to navigate difficult situations with resilience can lead them towards personal growth and self-awareness. Again, it's important to reiterate that these traits are not gender-specific and can apply to children of any gender.
xx
