Summary: Alexander doesn't know when his life started getting so complicated. Probably when he kickstarted Thomas Jefferson's sexuality crisis and started sucking his dick on a regular basis. But maybe it was before then, when he started sleeping with the seemingly unassuming senator across the hall. Surely both of these issues will cancel each other out if he has sex with them at the same time?

James Madison is in the office again. Hamilton knows it before he even sees the man himself, because Thomas walks straight into the printer hard enough to eat absolute shit. He collapses to the ground with a dramatic groan, and the papers he’d been holding fly around him like a cloud of white butterflies as they flutter to the ground.

It’s crazy. Jefferson is thirty-three, six two, possibly the most infuriatingly attractive man to ever work in politics, and could charm an IRS agent into committing tax fraud—but he has one midlife sexuality crisis, and now he walks into a printer when his office crush is so much as in the same room with him.

Maybe Alex shouldn’t laugh at Thomas—well, laugh that loudly—because it’s kind of his own fault about the sexuality crisis. So what if Alex didn’t think that much about what he was doing when mid-argument he sort of ended up on his knees and then sucked Thomas off in a supply closet.

quick heads-up about ship content on this blog! :)

i realized that some people have notps and might be comfortable with only specific ship content so i wanted to give a quick heads-up that if i post/reblog ship content, it's going to be a large variety. my blog's a wild west in that way, and at this point my reasoning is - i'm running a tumblr blog in the year 2024 about founding fathers. i've crossed the line, there's nothing that's going to make me clutch my pearls any more. and this was all a ruse to once again publicly beg someone to write a john adams x hamilton fanfic because the idea of john adams reading it and convulsing is very funny to me. he'd roll in his grave so hard he breaks the richter scale.

Jeffmads: 6/10. I will admit that while I dont personally ship it I understand why people do. Its very cute and there is room for a lot of variety in their relationship.

Madilton: 3/10. Not really my cup of tea. I read one fanfiction where Madison was just quietly pining over Alexander that I thought was cute but in all reality i don't see it.

Jeffburmads: 1/10. In the musical they had the "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" dynamic and then they turned on Burr when he finally decided to take a chance for himself.

Jamilmads: 8/10. I really like this ship. Though "the room where it happened" sex fics are VERY common i never get tired of them. And on top of that, Alexander with a hard top and a soft top? Yes. Along with the fact that in the romantic sense i think they'd have the Jefferson and Hamilton constantly bickering while Madison delegates type of thing.

Jamilburrmads: 5/10. Kind of neutral with this ship. Its not the worst but i have yet to figure out how Burr would fit himself into the dynamic.

Hamburr: 8/10. Hamilton could very easily be a musical about bitter exes.

Jeffburr and Burrmads: 1/10. I never knew this was a thing but not my cup of tea regardless.
