James Madison is in the office again. Hamilton knows it before he even sees the man himself, because Thomas walks straight into the printer hard enough to eat absolute shit. He collapses to the ground with a dramatic groan, and the papers he’d been holding fly around him like a cloud of white butterflies as they flutter to the ground.

It’s crazy. Jefferson is thirty-three, six two, possibly the most infuriatingly attractive man to ever work in politics, and could charm an IRS agent into committing tax fraud—but he has one midlife sexuality crisis, and now he walks into a printer when his office crush is so much as in the same room with him.

Maybe Alex shouldn’t laugh at Thomas—well, laugh that loudly—because it’s kind of his own fault about the sexuality crisis. So what if Alex didn’t think that much about what he was doing when mid-argument he sort of ended up on his knees and then sucked Thomas off in a supply closet.
