also out of all 10 smell samples i got i only really like 3. here is my ranking.

vanilla cinnamon smell, marshmallow: both tasty. 10/10 no notes.

lemon cake smell: i smell like somebody just baked me into a tart. only complaint is that it can be kind of strong. 8/10

peaches & milk: not that peachy, really milky. it smells fine, i just wanted it to be more peachy. 7/10

strawberries & sugar: bafflingly, smells like watermelon candy, which is nice, but it's not strawberry. i wanted strawberry. 6/10

rose & lemon: pretty good, though i probably won't rebuy full size since the lemon can walk over the line of "lemony" into "cleaning supplies" sometimes 6/10

banana caramel: smells so good in the bottle & then smells really nasty on me. just absolutely disgusting. 5/10 though bc it smells SO good in the jar.

peach & raspberry: doesn't smell like peach or raspberry. vaguely sweet & floral, so like not the worst, but i'm really just trying to find a sweet peach smell. 5/10

the coffee one: good at first sniff but then one of the spices used becomes really syrupy & overwhelms the coffee smell after it dries down & gives me a headache. 4/10 but i wanted to like it

hazelnut vanilla: smells like plastic. i use it as cuticle oil on my toenails so i won't have to smell it & i'll use it up faster. 3/10

nothing is really particularly vile though. like it's all definitely better than something that smells BAD. i think my ideal goal is like an almond or amaretto smell though because one of my core smell memories is being in a store or fancy hotel with my dad & somebody was making fresh almond milk & offering samples, & y'all know almond smells soooo good & cherry-like. when i had the milk i was disappointed. it was just milk. but the smell was really nice.

anyway the main person i've been buying samples from is called Luvmilk & she doesn't have any almond smells. i've just been dipping my toe into the sweetest-sounding smells i can find to see if i like the concept of "smells for me" at all. which i think i do! if i can find something i like! right now i smell like a marshmallow cloud. and i like it.

idk the real reason i started trying this shit out is bc one of my friends has been known to use smells & i liked that after he visited me, my room & car smelled like him for a little while longer. i thought that was a lot of fun. i want to be able to leave a smell around & people go "oh yeah that's melanie" but first i have to find things i like. in summer luvmilk sells a "juicy peach and strawberry" smell that i'm hoping will satisfy my desire to have a fruity option since those are both smells i really like.

hey there Milky, i just wanted to finally thank you personally. i have a blog here on tumblr and have been following you for a LONG time. and i remember the post when you said youd be switching your blog to an E-Shrine. At the time I didnt care nor know itd be an E-Shrine. But.  it crossed my mind to unfollow you as thats not what i wanted on my dash for that blog. but.. i didnt. i kept following you and i began to see you worshiped aphrodite. and thats opened me up to religion again and honestly its changed my life and has led me to a new path in life.

When you changed your blog... Ill be honest I thought "I dont wanna see whatever the hell shes gonna post now" but.. Something in me just compelled me to keep following. I can distinctly recall thinking that. I promise I thought that. A cruel but truthful promise. Anyways. After awhile I caught your blog again on my dash when you started posting aphrodite things. And It... Sparked something in me? Something like that? And in all my years of hating gods. Resenting religion. Hating everything to do with religion. Because I couldnt worship what I wanted to worship. Which would be aphrodite, and nature. I have never once thought id go back to religious life. But....... Youve opened my eyes and opened my heart to give religion another chance. Youve shown me indirectly that religion can be good and open and flexible and not so binding as other religions. Recently I discovered wicca and paganism. I literally never knew they still existed. i thought pagans were long gone. And witchcraft nothing more then a old Salem story used now to attract tourists. But now I believe it all. Now I see it all and its all so beautiful and real. I love it so deeply and dearly. I love the idea of nature worship. I love the pagan gods and goddesses. And I love aphrodite. And ill have you know. Ive never written ANYone fan mail. And this isnt even what ID call fan mail. This is more thanks from me to you. And I cant thank you enough for what youve done for my life without even realizing it. So... Anyways. Thank you Milky. Keep being awesome. Keep posting. And if youd like to talk to me im open to that too. Id love that. Ill be messaging you and sending you an ask about this post because I dont know how the "at" system works on tumblr yet. But anyways. here are some of my fav cheaper perfumes i've tried for anon with a brief review: kyse (very cheap samples, comes in bath and body formats. amazing if you love gourmands. their marshmallow perfume is soo realistic and their gardenia sucre is one of my favs. people also say good things about their vanillas but i havent tried any yet.) luvmilk (great bath/body products, great body sprays for gourmand lovers. lofty castle is my favorite. enjoy their body sprays and dusting powders)

Brushed the furbys today, the are so soft now, and I gave them both a dose of my favorite scent ‘rabbit cafe’ from luvmilk. Now I have a sweet strawberry furb. Changed out Marshmallow-screampie’s earring and took her wig and tail cover off (mostly for her brushing) so she’s rocking her natural look right now lol.
