Do you think you could tell us a bit more about how you think each of the boys act differently around the person they like due to their instincts and more “turtle-like” behavior? I think it’s super cute and cool that you try to incorporate those traits into your fics! I’d love to see more of it 💞💞💞

— not just because he's an alligator snapping turtle, but i think he would display a lot of cuteness/affectionate aggression!!

— i.e. playful bites, playfighting (very, VERY careful playfighting. he is a big boy and can crush you easily.)

— he deffo chirps and churrs, but it's absolutely the deepest out of the brothers. like it's SCARY how deep his churrs can get.

— on the topic of sounds, he deffo makes like dog-whining sounds when he's upset :( like the high-pitched ones (he makes them whenever he's really REALLY worried or just upset)

— big tail go whoosh. mostly sways when he's nervous/happy!!!! he loves u but stay back when he's REALLY happy mans can knock you into your feet by accident :(

— do not the tail unless u tell him first + get permission. easy way to death is to touch his tail without asking bc his first reaction will be to swing it HARD (not intentionally) and it WILL give you a concussion.

leo ;;

— prone to chirping. that's it. loves to chatter and prattle on, especially about how much he loves you, and will only ever stop if you give him kisses + affection, and will do so with soft chirps <3

— ALSO CHURRS!! but gets embarrassed about it and tries to do it in private/ when only you are around (p.s. he churrs almost all the time when y'all r alone)

— like mentioned in the post, he flutters and taps his claws!! this one is more instinctive so he gets HELLA embarrassed when y'all r doing whatever and his hands go to your face and gently tap or wiggle against your cheeks

— (melts if you do it back to him)

— y'all seen those photos of red-eared sliders riding on top of softshells?? yeah that but you. he will LAY ON YOU any chance he gets homeboy loves to cuddle

— his tail isn't as big as raph's, but deffo is as expressive, it wags alot, mostly when he's happy,, but like his churrs, he normally tries to control himself and his reactions so around others, his tail will twitch a little around you, but it's full-on wagging when ur alone :]]

donnie ;;

- homeboy growls more often than actual churrs, but u can BET UR ASS that as soon as u say sumn as little as 'wow, that's so cool!' or 'ooh, ur so smart!' to him HE LOSES IT homeboy becomes a chirruped, churring mess

- obv he's preferential w physical touch, but is in heaven when u massage his shoulders after a long day of missions/work (shrimp posture) and he subconsciously churrs (despite him denying it)

- when feeling needy/ in a lovey-dovey mood, he tends to nudge ur head w his, veryvery gently

- so much so that it can be a silent way (cough cough bad boy image) of him asking for affection/ attention from u w/o having to actually ask

- unlike raph and leo. does not. NOT like having his tail touched he will bite and snap at u outta pure instinct.

- SPEAKING OF WHICH gentle bites and deffo some playfighting bc softshells r aggressive but he loves u a lot :]] also when annoyed/agitated/threatened. neck. he turns around/ stretches his neck (not much) to look bigger + more intimidating (it just looks silly)

mikey ;;

- straight out the gate we all know he's affectionate and touchy asf. i know i said it for all of them but.

- PLAYFIGHTING!!!!!;;;;!!!!:!!!:: but he don't hold back. he is BITING he is SCRATCHING he is PLAYING DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!! (he learned it from leo)

- tends to just. bumpbump nudgenudge u when he wants affection (or whines for it bc #youngest-child-syndrome)

- considering how talkative and very open-w-his-feelings he is, he's probbles the most comfortable openly chirping and churring around you, he does not care bc he wants u to know u make him happy/comfy enough to be able to do those sounds :))

- the tail!! wags like CONSTANTLY but similar to raph's, don't touch unless given permission (he bites)

- whenever you're in the lair, or just around the turtles/leo, you are going to be snatched up and there is nothing you can do about it!

- standing up? okay, leo's just gonna wrap his arms round your waist and lean his head on your shoulder.

- sitting down? either you're sitting in his lap or he's sitting in yours— or, he sits on the floor beside you so that he can lean his head on your thighs (i love doing that)

- laying in bed? CUDDLE TIME!

- that's all just to say that leo himself is very physically affectionate ;; if he got the chance he'd hold onto you and never let go

- with leo's self-esteem problems, i think it really helps to have a partner who's super affectionate!

- leo's the kinda guy to have doubts/ be like 'why are you even with me? i'm so lame and my brothers/literally anyone is so much better than me'

- so to have someone who time and time again shows how much they love him and proves that they only have eyes for him?

- it actually really helps! of course, those thoughts do come back sometimes, but it's nothing that a few kisses and a cuddle session can't fix!

- not to mention how you're always, always willing to tell him own much you love him!! because you do, you love him very much and will do anything to get those bad thoughts out of his head

- if he ever feels bad about himself or something he did, he always comes to you to get some comfort bc you comfort him in the best way

- like i wrote in Totally Platonic, leo's prone to subconsciously wagging his tail, making chittering/churring sounds at you, even fluttering his fingers around your cheeks bc red-eared slider DNA go brrr

- something that i think leo would be self-conscious of is money and ish, bc its not like he can really get much?? with the whole turtle situation

- but you, of course, being the angel you are, constantly reassures him that you don't need materialistic things for him to prove his love! you just want him, not anything else

- leo's the type of guy to fall HARD, so to know you're the same way? to know that you're as crazy about him as he is about you?

- he swoons, and wonders what he might've done to deserve such a wonderful partner.

- everybody, EVERYBODY KNOWS that donnie ain't a very touch-oriented guy, so at the start of the relationship, he'd deffo be overwhelmed by all the love and might ask you to tone it down (not in a mean way)

- once he gets comfortable tho he's all up for affection and cuddles :))

- you do ruin his bad-boy image tho. how is this man supposed to be dark and mysterious when your sweet self is out here making him absolutely melt???

- donnie typically shows his love through gifts and words!!!

- alike leo, he could spend HOURS singing your praise and just saying everything he loves about you (he's actually made a list organized by his most favourite qualities alphabetically.)

- i personally think that for donnie, being a middle child, he didn't get too much attention and we know for a FACT that he yearns for praise and love

- so you KNOW he's going feral if you so much as say 'wow, that's cool!' to one of his inventions

- donnie, while a little overwhelmed by all the love you show him, is really happy to have it

- don can get really stressed when doing his experiments/making his inventions, so it helps to have you around!!

"Leo! Get a hurry on, we'll be late for the convention!" Raph groaned, Donnie tapping his foot impatiently alongside him as Mikey bounced about, chittering on about how excited he was.

Leonardo, on the other hand, was very, very nervous. He's been a long-time fan of Y/n ever since they starred in a movie as a villain. As soon as he heard the evil laughter spilling from her lips in one particular scene, he was smitten. And of course, his brothers being the good family they were, found and purchased tickets for a convention where Y/n would have a scheduled meet-and-greet.

The day before, he very carefully curated his outfit, picked out funny jokes and even made a script for anything that Y/n might say during the meet-and-greet. He had everything down to a T, to ensure he made a good impression on the idol he oh-so adored.

"Leo, if you don't get your fanboy butt out here, we're leavin' without ya!" Raph yells.

"... Fanboy ass." Mikey corrected quietly with a snicker.

The alligator snapping turtle turned on his heel towards Michelangelo with a scowl. "What. Did. You. Just. Say?"

"N-Nothin'!" Mikey squeaked, hiding behind Donnie.

“I’m coming, I’m coming!” Leo yelled back, giving one last glance in the mirror before grabbing a backpack to carry with him. Once everyone was all gathered up together, they made the long journey towards the convention center. The brothers promised to meet up together after, each going their separate ways. If he could remember correctly, Leonardo watched as Donnie headed towards a streamer’s (who was famous for building very questionable and dangerous things) meet-and-greet, Raph was off to see the booths and the cute things being sold, and Mikey was going to the food stalls, where there would be some prestigious chefs and food critics.

Simply vibrating in both anxiety and joy, Leo couldn’t stop the small chirrups that escaped him as he made his way upstairs, taking several rides up elevators to see his idol. The posters hung around, some boasting her presence, servined only to fuel the fire of his excitement.

Leonardo finally arrived at the designated area for Y/n’s meet-and-greet, velvet ropes set up to help designate where the fans should line up and patiently wait for their turn to have their photos taken and to chat with the actress. Only… It was strangely empty?

The red-eared slider looked around, confused. It was only 3pm, surely the meet-and-greet would be starting in some thirty minutes? He came early, but not that early. He opened up his phone to look at the tickets and then to look at the flyer for Y/n’s booth, only to crumble to the ground and hit the wall in agony.

‘Come and see the fabulous Y/n IRL! Booths and meet-and-greet open from 3:30-5pm!’

What he hadn’t read were the dates that she would be present. Alas, he had come a day too late.

Sulking and moping with his head hung low, Leonardo sought out Raph and clung to him sadly, weeping overdramatically as he perched atop his older brother’s shell. He whined and moaned about ‘injustice’ and the ‘absolute ruin’ his day had become as Raphael purchased new stuffed animals and even a small treat to cheer Leo up. Leo sobbed as he munched on a cupcake.

Eventually the whole group had gotten back together, the sun starting to set as they made their way towards a restaurant to order some food.

“I just don’t get it,” Leonardo wailed, leaning on Donnie (much to his twin’s disapproval). “I thought the meet-up was today… I was so, so excited, you guys can’t even IMAGINE the amount of, of- Donnie, what’s a big, genius word for feeling sad?”

“Bereaved? Sorrowful? Despondent? Woeful? Disconsolate? P-”

Leo made a loud shushing sound at the softshell as Raph ordered for the brothers. “Yes, yes, yes, I get it! I have such sadness in me, none of you could possibly understand!” (They all, in fact, understood, because Leonardo would simply not stop moaning and groaning over it since they all had regrouped.)

They all sat down in a booth, each having a burger, some fries and a soda. “But I’m just saying, I can’t believe I misread the flyer.” Leo sighed sadly, taking a sorrowful munch of his burger. “I was so looking forward to meeting her. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.”

“Um, excuse me?” A small, feminine voice spoke up.

Leonardo turned towards her, a gloomy look on his face. The first thing that his eyes had landed on was his phone (a distinct, blue-decorated phone case, as well as a photocard of Y/n’s role as the villain behind the clear phone case, credits to Mikey) in her hand, offering it to the brothers.

“Is this one of yours?”

Then, Leo took the phone and opened his mouth to thank the kind young woman, only to gape his mouth at her in surprise. To his absolute, inexplicable glee, the girl who had given Leo his phone was none other than his idol. There stood Y/n, in all of her glory!

“Ah- uhm, you, uh, when- You, you, uhm-” Leonardo babbled, cheeks flushed in embarrassment as his tail thumped against the plasticy-fabric of the booth and his fingers tapped in a fast, rhythmic pattern on the table.

His brothers laughed, Donnie leaning over with a shit-eating grin. “Sorry about my brother, he’s very socially inept and stupid. He means to say thank you and that he’s a very big fan of your films and the roles that you play.”

“Oh! And he was real sad earlier ‘cause he missed your meet-and-greet today ‘cause he misread the flyer for it!” Mikey added, a bright smile on his face.

Y/n nodded softly, a gentle smile on her lips as she looked towards Leonardo. “Is that so? I’m very sorry. I’ll talk to my managers later about making sure the dates and times are clearer.” She responded in a sheepish, genuine tone. “Would you like a photo, then? I apologize that you had wasted your money in such a way.”

“I-you, uhhh, um, y-”

“Yes, he would!” Raph smiled, picking up Leo so that he stood beside you. Donnie took Leo’s phone, tapping away and inserting the password.

“Next time, don’t leave your phone on with fanfiction up, Leo. This writing is abysmal!” Don teased, giving a knowing nod towards Y/n as he pulled up the camera. “Alright! Leo, smile!”

As the brothers returned to their seats, Y/n stuck by for a few minutes to laugh and chat for a bit, writing her autograph onto a napkin, placing it in front of Leo before leaving.

It wasn’t until they were at home that Leonardo finally came to. “Oh my god. Oh. Oh my GOD!” He shrieked in the turtle tank as he swiped through his phone and clutched the napkin. “OHMYGO- Owwww!” He rubbed the back of his head, tossing a glare at Donnie, who had hit the back of his head.

He huffed and ran over to his room, taking some tape from Mikey’s and taping the autograph onto his wall. Leo chirped happily, clapping his hands in glee. “This! This is the best day ever!” He shouted in joy.

CRUMBS

“Hey, Donnie?”

“Hm?” The softshell replies gruffly, not even turning to give Y/n a glance.

“Leo has a crush on me, doesn’t he?”

A short pause.

“Mhm.” Donnie replies easily, continuing his work.

It was already loud and clear at this point; Leonardo had the habit of draping himself over the people he loved and bringing them gifts on occasion. Usually, it was directed at his family, like buying Mikey some new pencils, bringing Raph some water and snacks after he finished his workout, helping (and failing) April by passing her cheat-sheets for tests and homework, hell, even sometimes helping Donnie by passing him supplies while he’s working on a project. This isn’t even mentioning the amount of times he’s thrown himself at Raph, laid down on Donnie and Mikey (much to their annoyance and delight), as well as simply cuddled up with April for a movie night.

All of this information, all of it to amount to that either Leonardo sees you just as that; Just as a close enough friend to consider family, or, the more tempting, more desired answer— That he also likes you.

You couldn't lie to yourself, not about this. Leonardo, in short, was adorable. It was so endearing how much he cared for his family and just loved showing how much he cares at any given moment. That wasn't even mentioning how attractive he was; He had a charming personality and charming looks to match— What wasn't there to like?

And on more than one occasion, he'd been privy to show you that same affection he did for his brothers and sister.

In one instance, you were stuck at school during a rainy day. The librarian was starting to get annoyed with you and all of the other classrooms were empty, and the office was an absolute no to go to. And after not even a second of sending a text to Leo about your predicament, you found a lime green hand wrapped around your arm and pulling you into a cyan, electrifying portal.

Did the sudden motion make you nauseated? Did the large jump from the school library to the lair make you sick to your stomach and force you to run to the bathroom, Leonardo holding your hair back for you as you emptied your stomach?

Yes. It was awful, and he also nearly threw up from the stench and image of you bent over the toilet. But it was kind, so kind and so nice of him to do that for you, to make sure you didn't get to the lair sopping wet and making sure there were no gross puke-bits in your hair.

Another time, you mentioned to him offhandedly about a series you enjoyed, simply to make idle chatter and encourage him to talk, since he always seemed more skittish and in a rush to speak when it came to you. And lo and behold, what did you find on your bedroom window the day after? Very hard-to-get, very rare merchandise from that same series you enjoyed, as well as catching s glimpse of a certain blue-bandana-ed, red-eared slider diving into a portal.

It did make your heart melt a little when you sent him a text, only to receive back:

Truly, a man who knew how to lie, and truly, a man who knew his way around words.

After your interrogation (literally one question) with Donnie, you casually made your way to the living room, sitting down with Mikey as he chewed on popcorn and was watching a new TV series with April. You weren't particularly interested, but it was nice to spend time with the both of them.

And even better, not even a moment after of sitting down on the beanbags, Leonardo came toddling in, making some sort of excuse as to why he was there.

"Hey guys? Did I just so happen to misplace my totally rad, awesome teleportation device, which also functions as an odachi— Oh, heyyy, Y/n, funny seeing you here. Whatcha' watchin'?" Leonardo bats his non-existent lashes at you, taking a seat next to you on the floor.

April snickers, loudly. "We were watching a new Netflix series that Mikey found. Something about someone being too stupid to tell his crush he likes them."

"Yeah! It sounds just like y—mghphhh!" Mikey's voice is muffled by Leonardo loudly smacking his hand over his brother's mouth, laughing in a nervous, obnoxious sort of way

"Hahaha, so funny! So awesome! On an unrelated note, I must leave!"

He was completely, utterly hopeless. And not very good at hiding how he actually felt. Despite claiming he had to leave, Leonardo was back within minutes, sitting back down beside you and sitting close, his leg touching yours. It was normal for him to be so touchy, hell, you came to expect it, so it came as no surprise when he started playing with your hair, gently tugging on it or twirling a strand of it around his finger.

Leonardo seemed more nervous than usual though, which is what sparked you to ask Donnie such a question. Leo had been more prone to giving you small (and big) gifts, as well as very frequently putting himself at your disposal or doing everything you ask him of. It was cute, but also frustrating.

Leonardo, who was sat very close to you and was playing with your hair, borderline cuddling with you, refused to call you anything other than 'best friend Y/n' or 'bestie', when he's proved that he wants you to be closer than that. Leonardo who claims you both are completely platonic as you fall asleep on the phone together. Leonardo who states that he feels nothing more than friendly love towards you, who also puts himself at your beck and call.

As endearing as it was, it began to get frustrating. You would've been able to stand all of it, love it all the same if he would just stop with the incessant calling you his 'pal', his 'buddy', his 'best friend'.

It got to the point where even Splinter would look at you two and groan, or murmur at the both of you to get a room and stop interrupting his scheduled programming. And you knew, if everyone, Splinter included, was able to pick up on this and Leo wasn't, then it was hopeless, unless you wanted to confront him about it and make it a thing that was out there.

“What? No, I don’t have a thing for Y/n. You're being weird, April. Well, weirder.” Leo scoffed, flipping the tails of his mask in the same way he would flip his hair, if he had any. “Me ‘nd them are just friends. Literally no romantic tension, no romantic feelings between us whatsoever.” He groaned and looked away from April. “And I’m not even gonna look at you ‘cause I just know you’re making that face when you think that someone’s bullshitting.”

As Leo predicted, April was making a face at him; Eyes squinted and nose scrunched up in a show of her disbelief. “Uh-huh. Riiiiight.” She droned in a less than enthusiastic voice. “You may as well just announce it to everyone, Lee. Everyone knows.”

Leonardo scoffed, scowling and cheeks red with embarrassment. He refused to back down from his place, from both a need to not tell as well as out of his own pride. “What? Everyone knows that I don’t have a thing for them? Pish-posh, quit being ridiculous, April.” Leo sighed softly. “Besides, what kind of schmuck tells someone he likes them?”

“What?”

“Nothin’!”

"Y/n! Hey!" Leonardo says with a smile, that same, damn soft smile he gave to you and only you. "I set up a movie for us to watch. I'm got some popcorn in the microwave, so go ahead and sit in the living room!"

Doing as he asked, you settled into a sofa by the TV and waited for Leo to arrive in order to pick up the control and start the movie. Your teeth chattered quietly, it was freezing in the lair.

Leo came toddling in, popcorn bowl in hand as he came and sat by you (read; sitting so close he breathed the air you breathed out). "Popcorn's ready, go ahead and— Oh no, are you cold?" He asked worriedly, eyes filled with concern but also glee. "Hold on, I'll grab one of my hoodies for you, Y/n."

You could barely even say 'thank you' before he ran off. You pretended not to hear the happy stomps he made as he ran up to his room, collected a jacket and came back to the living room.

"You're too kind, Leo. Thank you so much." You smiled up at him, a kind expression on your face. Once more, you pretended not to see how he watched you put on the sweater (blue, obviously) and settle back down.

Leo paused and then smiled again, this time a little more flustered. "Oh! Uh, yeah, of course! Anything for a friend!" Ouch. "Anything for you." Nevermind.

Sitting back down beside you, Leo leaned his head against yours as he held the popcorn bowl in his lap, motioning for you to start the movie.

During the movie, it was painfully, painfully obvious that Leonardo was looking at you. It fell into a routine; He'd stare at you, you'd look over or grab some popcorn, he looked away until you were back to watching the movie, and then would look at you 'discreetly', rinse-repeat. As fun as it was, seeing the usually cocky, overconfident Leonardo acting like a puppy vying for your attention, it was also getting old.

You cuddled into him.

"It's pretty cold."

"O-Oh, is it?" Leonardo swallowed, his cheeks glowing a light, almost not-there pink. "Uh, I can— Um, yeah." He said awkwardly, setting the popcorn into your lap before wrapping his arms snugly around your middle.

You smile at him, gently touching your nose to his snout. Please stop being so oblivious and so flirty and calling it being friends. "Thanks."

Leonardo’s embarrassment was nearly palpable, even as you turned back to the movie. You made it your goal today, that today was going to be the day that you wrenched a confession out of Leo whether he liked it or not.

You chewed on a piece of popcorn, every so often laughing or quietly commenting on something that was on-screen. Leo was quiet, unusually quiet as he kept his face tucked into the back of your head, nuzzling against your hair and gently squeezing his arms around you every once and awhile.

"Hey, Leo?" You hummed.

"Mm?" Leonardo mumbled back.

"You like me, don't you?"

At that, the slider stood straight and released you, cheeks firey red as he avoided your gaze. "Hah! Whaaaaat? No. Why would you think that?" It was almost laughable how bad he was at concealing how he felt.

You laugh quietly, Leonardo chuckling in turn as he say back down, propping his legs up and folding his arms behind his head. "You're being silly. Let's just watch the movie, okay?" Leo mumbled, drawing close again and leaning his head on your shoulder. You could hear the soft thumpthumpthump of his tail hitting the fabric of the couch, giving away his glee at being close. He hummed quietly, going back to watching the movie as he crossed one of his legs over yours and hugged you again.

Cheeky prick.

"I'm being for real, Leo." You turned to look at him, your gaze sort and amused as his cheeks lit up once more.

Leonardo was barely able to hold back a churr at seeing your face, the face that kept him more awake than his insomnia during the night.

"What? Is April putting weird things into your head?"

You laugh again, Leonardo raising a make-believe eyebrow in response. "No, Donnie actually, which makes me believe it's all the more true. You do like me, don't you?"

"That's absurd."

"That's the truth. Do you like me?" You asked again, more persistent as Leo began to squirm under your gaze.

"Y/n, you're my best friend. Of course I like you." Leonardo replied. "What is with this interrogation? Let's just watch the movie."

You snatch up the remote with a teasing smile, shaking your head and pausing the movie. No way in hell were you letting Leo slip away from this conversation when you had him right where you wanted him. Not a chance.

"Oh, really? So you've just casually given people who you consider to be your 'best friends' your clothes to wear when they're cold?" You raise an eyebrow, motioning to his sweater that you were wearing. "And have you consistently been doing small things for them, all of which that give you plausible deniability and give you the safety of playing the 'best friend' card?"

"Hey, that's not fair—"

You interject. "I don't think making myself live down my own feelings is either." You stop for a moment. "I like you. I think you're really cool and you're super funny and so kind. And I think you like me too, but you're too scared to say it."

Leo frowned. "I'm not scared of anything,"

"Scaredy-cat."

"I'm not—"

"Chicken, bokbokbok!"

Leonardo's face grew red with embarrassment as he placed a hand over your mouth, quieting you down. "Okay! Okay, fine, I like you, okay? Is that what you wanted to hear?" He grumbled, folding his arms as his cheeks glowed in his flustered state. "Now can we please go back to watching the movie?"

You smiled, cuddling up to Leonardo as he frowned and grumbled, but (very happily) wrapped his arms around your middle again, resting his chin in the crook of your neck. You u paused the movie, the both of you now contently and quietly watching.

Donnie sat tucked away in his lab, slouched over some new project that he had been determined to finish in a night. He had his headphones on with music playing, the lights turned low to help his eyes, and completely undisturbed in his work. It was so nice to be able to work with this peace and quiet.

“Donatello.”

God fucking damn it.

With a loud, dramatic sigh, Donnie set down the tool in his hand and slipped his headphones off, swiveling in his chair to give Leo a look.

"What. What could be so important that you must tear me from my brilliant, genius inventions?" Before Leo could even get a word in, Donnie stuck a hand up in a 'halt' motion. “You have ten seconds.”

He pulled up his phone, setting a timer. “Go.”

Leonardo scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Youtoldthem,Ican’tbelieveyou,youfuckingsnitch-!”

The timer rang and Donnie turned back to his lab table, putting his headphones on and slipping his protective goggles over his eyes. “Aw, too bad, I couldn’t understand you and your time is up. Boohoo, so sad, leave me alone.” He waves his hand dismissively. “Any moment now, dear brother.”

Leo groans, leaning over Donnie’s lab table, glaring and tapping his fingers on the desk until he’s given attention again.

“Okay, what then? What could you possibly want of me?”

“You’re a snitch!”

Dontello furrowed his (fake) eyebrows, clicking his tongue in thought as Leo’s tail swished in agitation, hitting Donnie’s desk and causing dull thunking sounds. (To not embarrass his brother further, the softshell pretended not to notice Leo balling up his fists in order to not flutter his claws at him.)

He snapped his fingers. “Ohhh, you mean how I informed Y/n of your romantic interest in them?”

“Yes, of course I’m talking about that!” Leonardo shouted back, cheeks burnt red. “That was embarrassing! Man, I thought we were brothers!” He huffed.

“Oh, please. You can’t tell me you aren’t secretly grateful. We all know that you weren’t ever going to actually admit it to them.” Donnie pointed out.

The red-eared slider went silent.

“My point still stands.” Leo smacked the back of Donnie’s head. “Asshat.”
