//Wow, this post is long.

Obviously, almost every kid wants to be a trainer. It's cool, like being a pro athlete. I think that also applies to most of these kids, too.

Derek, Chelsea, arguably Ron, and Jack would be the only ones to have actual "battle-ready" Pokemon given their age group, even if they wouldn't be anywhere above Lv15 at the very best.

That said, the only one of them I could imagine with a "proper" starter Pokemon is Derek, and that would be Rowlett. Back when TPC were teasing Gen7, I remember seeing Dartrix and immediately thinking of him, to the point I named my own Rowlett in Ultra Moon after him.

Chelsea would have a Ponyta - from Kanto, because Galar is too new-school. Lowkey Lass energy, probably might also have a Fairy-type that may or may not have been retyped yet, or some kind of Pika-clone. Something just to be cute on top of the more composed and competitive horsey.

Ron and Jack are surprisingly difficult to vibe check Pokemon-wise, but they also overlap a bit... Their Pokemon would be less flashy and impressive. I think Ron would have a baby Pokemon that he's super proud of, even if he is on the less brawny side as his friends at the present. Maybe a Pichu or Togepi. His dad worked very hard to get it for him. I am also inexplicably drawn to Wooloo but that may be my sheep bias talking so I will not say anything for certain.

Jack would probably get something extra from his older brother, Jeff, but nothing impressive. I'm drawn to a lot of Unova Pokemon for him, too... To give it some lore, let's say he picked an elemental monkey, and Jeff went, "You know what, I know how to make your team better," and got him something to cover a weakness. Maybe Blitzle if he picked Pansear, or Drillbur if he picked Panpour/Pansage.

He also feels like he'd have a Ralts. Somehow. But also, I feel that's a bit much/brawny for him.

Jeff is probably old enough to have probably caught a cute little Stufful and raised it long enough for it to evolve into Bewear, and it freaks Jack out sometimes with how destructive it can be.

Luke has Youngster energy. He scrounged together enough money to buy a ball and catch his own Patrat or Lillipup or a bug or something. He probably got a little injured in the process but he's fine, that's just how kids are. He also probably has a family dog Pokemon of some sort at home already.

Will would be the kind of kid though to have befriended something wild at a young age, and also have that thing have stupidly high potential. That said, he also has Espurr energy.

Maybe he'd also "share" something with Derek. Something his older brother caught him and is helping him raise until he's old enough. A bird or bug, perhaps. Natu?

Assigning every kid a Pokemon based on their animatronic would be too easy. :P Besides, there aren't any chicken Pokemon besides Torchic...

Though if I had to assign each kid a proper starter in some kind of "Nobody Dies AU", let's sayyy: Derek = Rowlett, Chelsea = Tepig, Ron = Chikorita, Luke = Charmander, Will = Squirtle, Jack = Piplup.

You also get long rambling about the PGs also because they are my favorite employees. As for my night guards, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry.

Porfirio is the kind of guy who doesn't stop until he gets what he wants, so the second he learned what shinies are, he would've thrown away hours of his life to get his hands on the perfect one, even as someone too young to have a Pokemon. So he has a Shiny Gourgeist he calls Dyniusia ("Little Pumpkin") almost as old as he is, and it's Super size for good measure. A tall purple Pokemon that kills people and loves to sing - just like its trainer! It's his prized possession and it totally gets him, so that's why it's the only living thing he treats with any genuine sort of affection and comradery. (I don't wanna make anyone mean to Pokemon, that's going too far.) Maybe he would've been a decent competitive trainer if he wasn't such an awful person...

Alexander, on the other hand, is the kind of guy who doesn't have the constitution to be a sporty trainer, but plenty of non-trainers have domestic Pokemon, and he would be no different! He'd have a Chatot. It always comes back to Chatot. He gets talkative when he's anxious, so having a chatty friend to bounce off of feels appropriate! Plus, my perception of Chatot being an organized managerial type has been heavily influenced by PMD... Unfortunately, it works as an emotional support Pokemon as frequently as it doesn't. He might complain to it about a certain person... and then it'll say those things right back to their face. It makes him die a little inside every time, but what can you do?

There would be a lot of Shuppet hanging around the pizzeria (since they're attracted to "vengeful emotions", such as those a group of murdered spirits would have), which… doesn't help its reputation.

My pokemon based on mutuals rn are so neat like.

Axle has an absolute tank murder machine clodsire. Luke is a gyarados that tanked most of team star's fire division before kicking the bucket, but o7 on the effort, absolute killer. Cup has two, a wiglett that's fighting for it's life (cumsmp) and just a normal ass wingull, but i think i may change them to being a fletchling or smth. River got the first pawmi i caught and is still level 3. Ally got a yungoos. Icarus got a ralts that's gonna become a gardevoir. Kaisa pichu supremacy. Laurel got a steel terra type rellor. Cher chewtle time. Metaru is a skiddo that beat my ass trying to catch it. yen got a corvisquire that i accidentally named yin.

So I saw Pokemon AU and immediately got summoned because I ADORE Pokemon AUs.

Flareon being Luke's starter he got alongside mc is such a good idea and I adore it. Flareon and mc's Eeveelution are going to Suffer looking at these two dense fools they have as trainers though. In my mind there's an elaborate setup where the two realise Luke is still extremely head over heels with mc, still refuses to admit it, and they just Sigh.

What follows is a whole load of shenanigans where the two try to set their trainers up finally and each time they fail because neither will ever make a move. And each time they fail they look at each other with the most pained expressions because someone save them.

Except Luke and mc mistake this as their two Eeveelutions pining for each other. Now we have the Pokemon trying to set their trainers up and their trainers trying to set them up. Whoops!

As a result of being Artem's babysitter for so long, Kangaskhan knows Artem extremely well. She knows how he feels, what he struggles with, and tries to help him as much as she can. Her maternal instincts flared up once she got assigned to babysit this child and they still haven't turned off even though said child is now an adult.

So she picks up on Artem's attraction to mc easily. And she can clearly see why, mc's an excellent person. And she sees how mc helps Artem too, sees him for what he is, doesn't put him on a pedestal, and most importantly she sees how much happier Artem is around her. Mc got Kangaskhan's approval before she got Artem's parent's approval, and Kangaskhan was right there to vouch for her if there was any doubt about her being a good partner.

So I have my own thoughts about Vyn's Pokemon team that I won't share in this because this is long enough as is and also these are your hcs not mine so I won't hijack. Vyn's Pokemon team are his best wingmen, they always engineer romantic situations for Vyn and mc. Skitty has purposely run around mc's legs to make her trip into Vyn's arms. Skitty got pastries for its efforts.

Ralts is the first one to realise Vyn fell for mc, of course. It picked up on his feelings almost immediately and was Shocked. Later that night Ralts relayed the information to the rest of the team and it's a miracle the resulting noise they made didn't wake Vyn up. Either it was a miracle or a well-used Hypnosis or Sing, none of them are telling.

Of all of Marius' Pokemon, Milotic is the one that understands how he feels best apart from Dragonair. Feebas are often judged and looked over because they're considered ugly while Milotic are sought after for their beauty. Milotic's become pretty disillusioned with the way others only care about the beauty while refusing to acknowledge its pre evolution and really anything else about it. It's kind of the same for Marius, most people only see him as the kind of irresponsible replacement for Giann and never see how much he struggles with underneath. Milotic is very vocal about its disdain for all the company exceutives that think they can take advantage of Marius, and is also very slow to trust.

So Milotic remains wary of mc for a really, really long time. It knows Marius likes her, but it also cannot shake the fear that mc will betray him. He's baring his heart to her, but that leaves him in prime position to be stabbed in the back and left heartbroken. And Milotic will not allow that, Marius has gone through enough with Giann's disappearance.

And Milotic remains on the lookout for mc's inevitable slip up. But it just...never happens. Mc is never cruel to Marius, their banters are friendly with no real venom and she listens to his struggles with no ulterior motive. And slowly but surely, Milotic starts to warm up to her too. It takes a long, long time, Milotic is the last of Marius' Pokemon to support a relationship between them, but when it finally comes around, its approval means the world to Marius.

So this got Long and I only covered one Pokemon for each of the boys giuhgu I am so sorry for this word dump. I just have brainworms for Pokemon.....

If Duck owned a ducklett, would they ever let it evolve into a swanna, or would they keep it a ducklett forever like Ash's pikachu?

Also unrelated but you unlocked something in my brain: Mammon has a murder of murkrow and a few head honchkrow that love to make fun of him and laugh very loudly, very audibly when he gets flustered or too tsundere-y in front of the mc. They love him dearly, but it's just way too easy to fluster their master.

Lucifer has a ninetales, it's old as dirt and every ninetales/vulpix he's ever had has come from the same line. It's descended from a vulpix Lilith picked up in the human realm from before the war. That ninetales, the first ninetales, shares the same tomb with her.

Levi has a plethora of water-types as his buddies, along with a dragonair that seems to like to hang out along the Devildom coast. The dragonair is calm and cool, and never minds Levi's rants as long as there's food involved.

Satan has cats, of course. Lots of them. A catty, lazy persian is his main, but he also currently owns a skitty. He has also attempted to adopt a meowth, a litleo, and a litten in the past, only for him to have to give them up because "that's too many pokemon in the house, Satan" and "they're ruining the furniture, Satan". It's probably ninety percent of the reason why he just sits back and watches if his persian wants to use Lucifer's office door as a scratching post.

Asmo loves anything cute! I see him with a fennekin, gifted by Solomon, who he eventually (begrudgingly, sadly) lets evolve into a delphox. They are inseparable. He also has a buneary/lopunny. And an ariados, because it's adorable, and he can isolate and utilize the venom in it's fangs for his beauty products, and for shitty dates (:

Beel has a munchlax, I can't unsee it, but I also don't think he'd ever let it evolve into a snorlax because at that point it's straight up competition for food, you know? But the big guy wants an eating buddy, and the little munchlax is so enthusiastic and adorable! I also think he'd have a gallade - a fighting-type whose whole purpose is to protect, he's had it since it was a little ralts in the Celestial Realm.

Belphie's best buddy is a gengar, who he's had since it was a gastly during Belphie's first days in the Devildom. They've got a good system going; Belphie will put a human into an eternal sleep, trapped in a never-ending nightmare, and his baby gengar gets a whole buffet until that mortal's vitality is completely burned out. Because of that, the two of them are inseparable. Belphie also has a musharna, which sleeps about as much as he does, if not more, and can help give him good dreams if he's too stressed out. He met his musharna as a munna, also in the Celestial Realm.

I won't go into too much detail with the dateables because this is too long already, but I think Solomon would train mostly psychic types and Luke would have a togepi that lived in his hat. That is all, thank you.

As for your question - like Ash’s Pikachu, Duck would allow Ducklett to make the decision on whether or not to evolve.

I imagine Duck got Ducklett and Cottonee when they were young - Cottonee was super energetic, so Duck needed to use them in battle regularly and eventually evolved them to allow them to fight stronger opponents.

Venipede would’ve been Duck’s first “proper catch” and she would’ve tried really hard to train her properly. Scolipede often acts as the “team mom” of Duck’s team, trying to keep the other pokemon out of trouble.

A Ralts just started following Duck around one day and now they have a Kirlia. He’s trying to figure out whether he wants to be a Gardevoir or a Gallade, so Duck gave him an everstone.

Duck found Mimikyu with a busted disguise and got Levi to fix it. They’ve stuck around ever since.

Cresselia appeared some time after Duck received the ring of light and gave Duck a chance to prove themselves worthy - thankfully, with Scolipede and Mimikyu, the battle turned in their favour pretty quick.

Hard agree on all of what you’ve said. I’d also add:

A Dusknoir and Hydreigon for Lucifer. Fits in with his dark aesthetic and three-headed dragon… three-headed dog… Luci’s got a theme going.

Mammon being teased by his Pokémon makes so much sense! I also want him to have a Klefki. It makes so much sense, right? A cute partner in crime!

Levi would totally rescue and rehabilitate water-type pokemon. He might even be able to communicate with them. There’s a little Luvdisc that refused to leave him after he took care of it, so now it shares the tank with Henry.

I think Satan would also have an affinity for psychic and highly intelligent pokemon. This might be from me playing Pokémon reborn but I imagine he has a Gothorita that helps organise his books and a Chimecho to help him calm down.

Asmo would also have a Drapion, you cannot tell me otherwise. He loves polishing its scales.

Beel could also have a Tropius - a Pokémon that grows fruit, so that he can have a snack nearby. He might also have a little Timburr or Tyrogue that wants to train with him.

Belphie with a Musharna is so perfect, and Gengar as a trouble-making partner. I struggle to think of something else… but if Lilith had a Vulpix, I think he might have an Arcanine. Warm and cuddly to sleep with.

pokemon partners for star wars characters

okay, first of all, the most sacred jedi tradition is a master giving their padawan their first pokemon. jedi are always given psychic types because they are considered to be the pokemon connected to the light side of the force. dark types are considered to be connected to the dark side of the force, so it’s EXTREMELY taboo for jedi to catch dark types. this important for world-building purposes.

qui-gon jinn has a gardevoir, and he gives obi wan a ralts when he takes him on as a padawan. his ralts has evolved into a kirlia by the time that the phantom menace rolls around, and he evolves his kirlia into a gallade when the clone wars break out. it’s a better fighter, obi wan reasons, and... well. he can’t stomach the idea of looking at a gardevoir for the rest of his life, constantly mourning his lost master.

shmi skywalker has a rockruff that scampers around the house and helps her with her chores. it has loved on anakin since he was a little boy, and anakin loves rockruff right back.

HIS pokemon, though, is an eevee that he saved from assholes who were forcefully trying to evolve it into a jolteon to power their generator. he brought his eevee home, and he and his mom have been hiding it from watto for years. eevee is a rare pokemon, and highly sought after for all the possible uses it could fill with different evolutions and by breeding for more of them. anakin, however, is not about to let anyone hurt his baby pokemon.

the order tries to take his eevee when he joins up so that they can give him a proper, psychic type as his partner, but anakin refuses to give it up. obi wan promises that they will not use an evolution stone on it or take it to any of the locations where it will evolve into a leafeon or glaceon. it will eventually evolve into an espeon, he tells them, and then anakin will have a psychic type just like he’s supposed to.

except eevee evolves into an umbreon at the beginning of the clone wars. the order goes NUTS! we have always been suspicious of this child, and now he has a dark type pokemon! what! we cannot allow him to stay. and obi wan’s like get your knickers out of their twist. eevee evolved into umbreon because it loves him. that’s a good thing, right? he is a kind and decent person. it just happened at night.

and the order grumbles, but anakin skywalker is allowed to remain in the order with his umbreon, though he becomes even more of a pariah than he was. obi wan finally gives anakin the pokemon he was supposed to have at the beginning to try to quell some of the gossip: a meditite to match obi wan’s gallade in typing. over the next few months, anakin uses his meditite in battle more to ward off the glares of the council he would get if he used his umbreon, and evolves it into a medicham.

it doesn’t work, but anakin loves his medicham and umbreon all the same.

anakin follows proper procedure, for once, and gives ahsoka a meditite as well. her baby meditite bugs anakin’s medicham all the time, and it’s really cute? it’s really cute. ahsoka’s other pokemon include a swoobat who she caught on that mission where she got stranded on the desert island.

her pokemon are confiscated from her when she is accused of treason, and then she leaves with her meditite and swoobat in toe.

owen lars has shmi skywalker’s old rockruff, so luke grows up loving his dad’s old pokemon as well.

luke skywalker’s partner pokemon is a sandshrew, another common pokemon on tattoine, and he catches a pikachu once when he’s out there shooting rattattas (alolan dark type ones). it evolves into an alolan raichu when he’s at obi wan’s and it finds his electric stone.

“but that’s not what raichu looks like,” luke says. he might be a hick from tattoine, but he knows SOME things, alright?

Kissed by the Baddest Trainer! [KBTBB Pokemon!AU]

(Based off a lot of @maidofstars’ and @catchthespade’s posts. I did tweak one idea of Spade’s however. I turned Shuichi from an Ace Trainer to a Pokémon Connoisseur. The Connoisseur mostly because out of all the bidders... he’s still wearing a suit. Even out of a work function. There is an instance when he wasn’t but I’m not going to mention. Mega spoiler for those who haven’t played his story. Major thing before I forget. DON’T FORGET TO CITE WHERE YOU GET YOUR RESOURCES! I’m like Ota in that respect.)

PROLOGUE

"Eisuke! Come here," Akira's voice echoes. Eisuke runs in from where he trains with his Pokémon into his room. There stands Akira with his suitcase from his time in England open to reveal... "How did you get in there," he cried out in shock. His Meowth looks at the Vulpix sitting atop his clothes. "Vul," it smiles at him and bounces out to rub against his leg affectionately. "I have no idea how it got into my bag Akira," Eisuke sighs. "You know that you can't have more than the six you have now," the man reminds him. The young boy didn't need to look behind him as he can hear his Piplup and Snivy at his doorway. It was obvious that they and Meowth weren't expecting another addition to his current team. ~*~ Soryu sits with his Cubchoo and Ralts in his room in silence. The way his grandfather talks about how Team KōriRyu were to now, he can feel a heavy weight on his head. But right now he's really lonely save for the company of his Pokémon. He is here to be the next leader of Team KōriRyu. He isn't ready for this. He's only a kid... Gentle nudges makes him focus on his Dratini and Shelgon in their attempt to comfort him. His Cubchoo snuggles close and Ralts hugs him from behind. "Thanks guys," he smiles and hugs them back. ~*~ Ota brushes his Eevee as a break from practicing for coordinator contests. The little Pokémon makes happy sounds as the brush glides over her fur. A splash catch their attention and Ota goes to look at his Feebas in its wide tank of water. "Okay but I can't brush your scales," Ota laughs while putting some Pokémon food for it. As the Feebas gobbles up the food, Ota starts working on brushing his Furfrou's fur. ~*~ Baba laughs while playing tug-of-war with Zorua, with Ducklett as referee. He sends the small fox-like Pokémon tumbling before it tackles him playfully. "Zorua," he laughs under the sudden barrage of nuzzles and licks. There is nothing more that he likes than the simple moments playing with his Pokémon. ~*~ Mamoru throws another poffin  to Munchlax after school before setting his bag down, tired. He doesn't understand why it's super hard to get into the police academy to become a detective but grades are important in admissions. But Munchlax hasn't been helping much other than reminding when meals are. Midterms are coming up and he's doing nothing but crunch time studying. Mamoru didn't realize how late it was until he feels his chair being pulled backwards. He turns to see not just his Munchlax but also his Growlithe and Vigoroth looking at him. "Okay. Let's get some supper," he laughs and leads them to the dining room. ~*~ Luke reads a medical textbook with Cubone nearby looking at the pictures as his eyes dart across the page. "Happiny," a scolding tone reaches ears and he peers up to see the Playhouse Pokémon ticked expression. "What," he whines. "It's dinner," he hears Iris and he peeks over Happiny to see his younger sister, her Riolu and Gothita next to her and doll in arms. "And mum wants you to rest. You've been reading that anatomy book since after breakfast." Luke turns to see the clock and his shock matches his Cubone's. It really is time for dinner. The six of them dart down the stairs, with Riolu helping Happiny. ~*~ Shuichi lays on his bed, tired. His goal of becoming an A class Pokémon Connoisseur is harder than he thinks. Especially when he wants to travel to offer his services better. He hears a series of tiny feet. He didn't need to look to see that Hikaru is near. His Maractus makes a confused noise as he turns his head. "What is it Hikaru? I can't battle with you right now," he sighs wearily. Normally Shuichi is ready to battle with Hikaru after his regular schooling and connoisseur lessons, but today's was really hard not just on him but also Maractus. ~*~ Hikaru peeps up at Shuichi from his spot with Froakie, atop his head, near the bed. He doesn't understand why his friend is so tired. He would be ready to battle his Froakie versus Maractus with the latter's Abra as referee. "When will you be ready to," he asks back. "You promise that you'd help me with my dream to be the Pokémon Champion." He claps his hands together and makes the cutest puppy eyes he can manage to persuade him. Shuichi sighs then buries his face into his pillow. "After a nap... my teacher wasn't easy on me today," Hikaru hears his friend reply. Excited for later, Hikaru and Froakie both jump out the room. ~*~ ___ hands her mother another damp tablecloth as a Pidgeoto glides in to help. A few more join with some Starly and Butterfree. ___ laughs as one of the Butterfree nuzzles her. "___, you can play with the Butterfree after you finish chores," her mother reminds. "Okay~ Hey~ That tickles," ___ smiles as the Butterfree's antennas touches her cheeks. A calm "Azura" gets the Butterfree to stop. The two turn to see a mother Azuramaril with a few Azural at her feet. With a nod from ___'s mother, the Azural go with ___ inside the house to clean the floors while Azuramaril stays with ___'s mother to finish hanging laundry. As ___ gets the rags, a Minccino pops its head in. Laughing, ___ gestures for it to join and it does. Cleaning the house has never been more fun. ~Ten Years Later~ Eisuke sits at his desk with a sigh. Lately all has been all over the news outside of how Ichinomiya Corporation's success and wares is the increase in Pokémon poaching and hunting. He just can't believe that people would have such terrible morals as to kill and sell innocent Pokémon. Not that his morals aren't shaky but he does have to admit that he has no sense of shame at all. A knock rattles his door and his Persian looks up from where it naps on a silk and memory foam pillow. "Soryu how many times does your Beartic have to come close to pounding my door down," he sighs while Serperior opens with a switch. "He knows he can talk with Persian while we do business," comes the cool reply. "How's Team KōriRyu? I hope some of the resources I've lent are at least useful," he asks his childhood friend after he shuts the door. "Helps but it's not enough when it comes to Pokémon Hunter F and their team," Soryu sighs while flopping onto a chair. "So far there is nothing that we can do about their group." "Don't say that too soon," comes a voice and both men roll their eyes. "Baba," Soryu growls and reaches for his gun. "Whoa! Put it down," the Pokémon thief whines. "I might know a thing or two about Pokémon Hunter F." Before they can dive further into the topic, Baba's Zoruark pushes the remote looking like the person who shows up on the screen, switching from the report that shows a grumpy Mamoru. Ota finishes a stunning performance with his Sylveon and Milotic accompanying his angelic smile. "He's helping too but we can't let the police in on what we are doing," Eisuke announces in a serious tone. " ~*~ ___ walks out of Professor Foster's lab with her old friend Minccino on her head. ___ has high dreams of being the best Pokémon trainer there is but what happened in the lab was beyond what she can comprehend. Professor Foster says that he'll let Minccino as her starter Pokémon instead of the many starters in his lab. She also recalls that he warns her to be careful with the remaining five Pokéballs on her lanyard. Readjusting her bag carrying her new Pokédex, ___ takes another step forward in her journey. ~*~ Hikaru smiles as he watches Shuichi gauge the compatibility between a young contest competitor and her male Pidove. His childhood friend has gone beyond the level of A-class Connoisseur to S-class Connoisseur. He knows Shuichi could have open his own shop but with how kind his friend is coupled with his sternness, it makes him perfect for being able to see what will be able to not just strengthen a Pokémon but also the bond between the Pokémon and whomever the human who is with them. "I can already tell that there is potential between you two," Shuichi starts with a warm voice that soon gains some caution, "but should you start doubting the other, the partnership won't be good and success short. Build your trust daily not through training but also through your actions." "Thank you so much Mr. Connoisseur," the little girl beams after faltering a bit. "Don't you think you are too soft," he asks his friend as the girl runs off. Shuichi looks back at him with a small shake of his head. "You and Greninja have gotten far despite all the mistakes I've done," he gets reminded. "Pokémon and trainer or Pokémon and Pokémon all have their own traits that make them compatible or repel naturally." Hikaru can't disagree with him on that. Shuichi may have messed up here and there when they were kids on their Pokémon compatibility but he was a natural when it got to himself and Greninja. He follows every suggestion and disregard few despite not wanting help. Because of that- "And shouldn't you be defending your title right now," he gets pressed by Shuichi. "I haven't met anyone who can challenge me yet," Hikaru pouts. "And we do need some exercise. Right Greninja?" "Greninja," the Pokémon agrees. "Okay but be careful," Shuichi warns as he starts walking away. "Don't worry! I'll be fine," Hikaru counters while waving goodbye with Greninja to Shuichi and Maractus. ~*~ Mamoru flops onto his Arcanine after letting him, Snorlax, Slaking, Lowbrow, Hippowdon and Jumpluff out of their Pokéballs. His private meeting with Eisuke was irritating as usual. With the leader of Team KōriRyu and Lupin himself in the room, things were complicated as he is assigned to both of them. Eisuke's orders of making sure that no Officer Jenny or other police are aware of what is going on was really hard to pay attention to. Especially when Ota's Lopunny was making heart eyes at his Jumpluff, forcing both men to recall them back before things got more irritating. "Honestly... that li'l brat," Mamoru grumbles before clocking out on Arcanine. ~*~ "Iris, I'm back," Luke calls out to his sister. Luke sees his sister walking in with her Mismagius and Chimecho drifting near her, Lucario, and Gothitelle along with- "Now where did you find that Cleffa," Luke sighs at the little Star Pokémon in Iris' arms with her doll. "During a meteor shower while you were gone," Iris shrugs back. "What's that with you?" "Ah," Luke chuckles while beckoning for the Pokémon to come forward. "This is Rotom, a shape changing Pokémon who love pranks... mostly I do not find it funny when you become a table." Luke glares at table!Rotom before tapping it lightly. The action makes Rotom change back into its natural form. "And keep an eye on it," Luke warns in a tired voice. "It does possess electronic items or appliances." "Okay," Iris nods as Rotom starts getting all buddy-buddy with the other floating Pokémon. "Chancey Chancey," calls out Chancey. "I'll be there... later Iris," Luke smiles. "Bye Luke! Thanks for Rotom," she smiles back. ~*~ Ota sets his pencil down and walks over to the paint buckets. "Furfrou this will be your fifth bath today and your fur won't look as pretty," Ota sighs while surveying his paint covered Pokémon. "Smurgle is different. Now come on..." With Milotic's and Sylveon's help, Ota manages to get Furfrou clear of any paint. The Smurgle works with Lopunny and Delcatty in getting the paint cans upright, lids on. Ota sees this through the corner of his eye as he applies a special beauty oil to Furfrou. He honestly needs to ask Eisuke if he can make more Pokébeauty products, despite the fact that Ichinomiya Corporation mostly focuses on apparel and outdoor gear for trainers. ~*~ Shuichi shamelessly strips to his boxers once inside his apartment alerting his at-home Pokémon to his and Maractus arrival. Shuichi sighs as he sits on his bed after putting his clothes away. True he does record what he knows about Pokémon and various trainer persona as his brain can hold so much but- "I need to figure out how to help Hikaru's Dodrio to work with him... that recent evolution clearly changed its personality," he grumbles. "That Pokémon isn't as obedient as it once was." He recalls that the main reason Hikaru came to see him was mostly about his Dodrio. He knows Hikaru gets along fine with Roserade, Scrafty, Luxray, Sableye and Greninja, even after three of them evolved to their final forms. Dodrio however... it stopped listening to Hikaru. There had to be something in his notebooks. Enlisting all his Pokémon, Shuichi starts looking for anything that can better the bond.

Author’s Note: Okay I’ll admit I’ve used more the anime than the games because it was the anime that got me into the Pokemon fandom at a young age. I currently have an Eevee plushie and PillowPet, a few Pikachu things, and a puzzle that still has a few missing pieces...

I will be doing further research for Ota’s role as a Coordinator since the anime doesn’t do the same sorting as the games. I’m not going to stick with Ace Trainer since I’ve not been into the games as much as the anime. I’ve seen more clips on YouTube involving Cilian than anything related to Ace Trainers...

(@ask-the-shiny-pokemons) Rimi @ Ardel: "I was wonderin', since you were grew up in the orphanage with your friends, what did life looks like?" She asked with her jacket off. "I have a friend who was in the orphanage, until he was adopted by an Eevee so he didn't remember that much."

Ardel squints a bit, recalling memories before answering.

ARDEL: "I don't think a lot of people would remember their younger days, but I was there at the orphanage from around the ages of 10-17 so it was a major part of my childhood. I remember it more clearly than the others I think. I was the second oldest there. barely a few months younger then Zeppelin. Everyone else were younger. Serene is only about 2 years behind me and she was the next oldest so. The ages range a lot."

ARDEL: "... Sometimes I think I remember more than I should."

The group gets off of the bus and makes their way towards and into the museum, after a quick walk through the entrance and showing their entrance tickets for a current exhibit, "Remains from the start of Hisui." An exhibit that's been going around region to region and is now in Hoenn for a little while, so why not visit it!

After quickly consulting the map of the building Ardel begins to guide his younger friends towards where all the good stuff is.

They nod as they go in, noticing that it's mostly quiet inside as is museum etiquette and join the people inside who are quietly walking around viewing everything.

Mausa however enjoys immidiently talking, yet at a reasonable volume, of the cool things he's seeing.

The two dart out of the room to thusly fix the clothing situation leaving Ardel and Luke alone in the living room.

Luke gets up from the coffee table they were lounging upon and approaches his not-brother looking a tad concerned.

Ardel sighs in response, simply reaching out with his paw and ruffling the head of the Ralts.

LUKE: ' Okay. Thank you. '

ARDEL: "I know ya get paranoid that you cause problems but I promise it's not your fault 'aight?"

LUKE: ' Okay. '

Silence falls over them as they wait and it ends up with Ardel browsing his phone in his pocket and Luke grabbing a discarded toy that was laying on the floor and playing with it.

Until eventually...

They come back, Burger in fresh clothing thanks to Mausa and... That sure is! A choice in clothing!
