What if chadley is a real boy? The baby sibling of the remanents or maybe a sephiroth clon, maybe he time travel too but this baby just can crawl around and loz being the taller one carry him to mamá Cloud
Tumblr media
Yeah I'd believe him as a SephCloud baby or Sephiroth clone.
Although if we're doing time travel it would be kind of funny if it was in the "Remnants go back to Crisis Core era and somehow fix things for the better" side-story-plot-thing. When they come back to their own time where their parents actually are together they have a new baby brother who they distinctly remember being not related to them from their original timeline (oh well, who are they to complain about an additional sibling).
I stick by the remnants being the kind of older siblings that give Cloud raised blood pressure. They love their little baby brother and want to spend time with him. The problem is they are almost too hands-on and of course don't listen to any instructions about how their baby brother is not as big as them and they need to be careful! So they're always carrying him around and trying to involve him in their activities but it's the kind of them that by 'carrying' I mean having their arms wrapped around his middle letting his legs just hang as they wander around and giving him toys that are definitively choking hazards. Kind of things where even the fairly blasé parent Cloud is like "no don't stop it put him down."
Will say that if it's more the Main Game (/Advent Children) timeframe of Cloud being the remnants parents and Chadley being the one to time travel back to them, I feel like Cloud takes one look at another child of his that was clearly had with Sephiroth and decides he needs a drink. He's going to take the kid in and look after him as well obviously but it's confirming that, 1 - Sephiroth isn't dead; 2 - Cloud is going to be in the situation to have another child with him (although cloning's always an option, he would rather this be a cloning situation honestly); 3 - the universe is so immensely unfair that all of these kids somehow take after Sephiroth not Cloud (both in terms of he can't live in denial that they're not Sephiroth's and... other people can immediately clock that they are Sephiroth's). Thankfully he has a pretty good support network around him.

Just a bunch of sketches. Mostly me filching a bunch of stuff from that LoZ fan project into my own thing. I've been thinking about the semi-common myth of storm celestial deities versus depths dragons and mapping it onto two competing groups terraforming a planet.
By the way, I AM working on Aphelion, I just feel like posting the final pages of this comic will spoil stuff so I'm keeping them private until done.
Top image: So the people of this small fishing town and a horror monster might have accidentally adopted each other. He is actually like a kitty in that he will invert his face into a mess of needles and then look at you with big wet eyes.
Middle Left: Sharky's mother. She is shockingly manipulative and cunning for an 300 meter long nuclear sea monster. Both of his parents kind of suck! His father was a sort of Zeus/Thor/Susanoo figure and somehow Sharky happened (his mom planned it). Anyways he's not supposed to exist! That's a dragon with blood keys to the celestial weapons network! Whoopsie!
Middle Right: A bunch of concepts for Sharky. He can't really speak now because his mouth is like that, and since he used to be basically human, he's a little blitzed out on all the new senses he has and the fact that satellites are talking to him in a language he doesn't understand. Also, I know there's a trope of where ascended people leave humanity behind and stuff, but like, if I didn't need sleep and couldn't be harmed by anything conventional, I think I'd hold peanuts in my hands and have birds eat out of them for eight hours straight. And that's kind of what he does. People leave their kids with him when out fishing because he likes the cool rocks they give him and no other monster will appear with him around. Also he has his father's sword which is a flaw in reality that always has to be at an absurdly high voltage. It's effectively a lightning bolt that never stops. He effectively acts as its sheathe because his armored skin is a strong enough shield.
Bottom: More Sharky and a character from TankEater. Potentially Dex's most dangerous foe in the first comic and thematically their opposite, a short king with weaponized disassociation that builds up a mental version of you that they use to predict your actions (remember, Dex isn't exactly a good guy at the beginning).

Scrapbook 2023 | Pt IV
NGL, a little heated that Tumblr's new editing bullshit has made it so I can't save more than a month at a time, so I guess I'll have monthly ones from now on.
For anyone that’s new to this, this is how I keep track of all of the things that I enjoy and/or create throughout the year. I have literally been doing this since I had a livejournal.
It’s a nice little snippet of my life and helps to organize my brain.
A reminder:
Normal font - Indifferent/Neutral Italicized font - Enjoyed bold font - Loved with an asterisk* - All time favorite (bracketed titles) - Re-watches/Re-reads strikethough - Disliked
Goals are: read 65 books, finish 4 video games, write more than 20 fics or something larger than 20k, and expand on your original novel outline to the point that you START WRITING.

Ruins of Hyrule: Link
an apocalypse/horror loz au
One of the few Hylians willing to venture up to the Surface, Link usually spends his time searching for resources in the ruins of Hyrule and making deliveries between different Hylian bunkers. His chances of survival are increased by his rare cybernetic implants, designed using ancient Sheikah technology, which increase his strength, stamina, and senses to above that of most Hylians. It’s on one of his journeys across the Surface that he meets Ganondorf — while he’s initially suspicious of the old man's claim that he can restore Hyrule, he figures that things can’t exactly get much worse, and he’ll be travelling all over Hyrule anyway as he’s been hired by some Sheikah-tech researchers to help them set up a teleportation network across the kingdom.
In terms of personality, he’s fairly paranoid with a prickly attitude, but once he gets to know someone, he’ll open up some more. He also takes his word very seriously and tries to avoid having to lie about things.
(please send asks if you’re curious about this au! it helps me work new stuff out!)

Twenty Questions for Fic Writers
Thank you @unmaskedcardinal for the tag!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Four, but one of them is basically a rough draft of another one. (Side note that all my stuff is locked so you have to be logged in to see it.)
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
220,221
3. What fandoms do you write for?
The Legend of Zelda is the big one right now (though it is more or less on hold right now). Beginning work on a Castlevania fic but don't have any solid plots yet. In the past I wrote Star Trek and Stargate, they were posted on a forum called Subspace Comms Network (SCN for short) but it died years ago.
I've had ideas for a lot of different fandoms that mostly were hypothetical video games. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Front Mission. Of those, I could maybe see myself pulling off a Final Fantasy or Front Mission story, maybe MGS... I have an old outline for a Mobile Suit Gundam fic I did years ago. Though I have no plans to do any of those at the moment, and honestly I've got my hands full with my Zelda fic.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
The Amnesiac Hero's Quest (part of The Realm Walker, BotW AU from Link jumping off the Great Plateau to shortly after freeing Vah Ruta (and Mipha) from Ganon's clutches, rated T, the only one of these that is complete)
Link's Story: Finding Hateno Village (Kind of a rough draft for TAHQ, rated T)
Shifting Tides of Fate (sequel to TAHQ, but trying to write it in a way that it could be enjoyed without reading TAHQ first, Mipha joins Link on his quest and they head for Rito Village to free Vah Medoh and Revali, rated M)
The Ballad of Kass (part of The Realm Walker, picks up with Kass starting his journey about a week before Link even wakes up with his sister Kalia tagging along, in a way it's become the backbone for The Realm Walker cause I'm trying to make sure all the story beats match up where it intersects with the other stories, rated M)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! I'm sharing these stories to connect with people and responding to any comments is part of that.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Well so far I've only managed to get one full ending done and it was happy hahaha! My goal is "Earn your happy ending" with everything, but the angstiest or darkest ending I had planed was in my Star Trek epic. It was intended as a collection of stories, the first one taking place in 2387, 10 years after Voyager's return from the Delta Quadrant. Basically the Borg (helped by other Borg from a different quantum reality) launched a full scale invasion of the rest of the Milky Way. Everybody more or less bands together to resist this invasion, leading to the ultimate destruction of the Borg Transuniversal Gateway.
The resulting explosion created an anomaly that later gets stabilized into a wormhole leading to another galaxy. So 12 years later, the second fic starts, the Federation and her allies are exploring this new galaxy, bump into a few aliens that have unexpected connections to the Milky Way, as well as old enemies of said aliens, and in the final "episode"/chapter (I wrote it script format cause "Virtual Series" were all over the place back then) the wormhole gets sealed with a bunch of people from the Milky Way stranded in this other galaxy, forced to fight in someone else's war more or less (cause eventually this enemy would make it to the Milky way). A few weeks or so after this is where the next fic would pick up, and while I never got that far, I'd have to say that's as bleak as I'd end a fic.
Oh wait, there's another one! But again I haven't actually written the ending yet, but I'm almost there! It's a part of The Realm Walker, specifically The Tale of the Realm Walker, an ancient Rito legend dating back to around 20 years after the events of the Tale of the Hero of Winds (i.e. LoZ: The Wind Waker). Definitely more bitter than sweet... I'm going to stop myself here cause I don't want to give too much away...
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Well I kind of answered that already, but it's The Amnesic Hero's Quest. Link's still got a long way to go before he saves Hyrule, but hey, Mipha's alive!
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No. I guess I'm not big enough to have gotten hate before I locked them. Also got a good bit posted on DeviantArt and never got any hate either (though I haven't put up anything recently and honestly it's just easier to post fic only on AO3 so I'm going to do that from now on).
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
No.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
*Nervously tugs shirt collar* Well you remember how I said that I did hypothetical video game ideas? Some of them were crossovers... And they were pretty much all absolutely bonkers... Probably the craziest was trying to mash up Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Parasite Eve. Granted these mostly focused on mechanics, level paths, enemy encounters and available weapons and such, only bare bones story thoughts were ever thought.
I salvaged the Zelda stuff from a Zelda/Final Fantasy crossover to make The Realm Walker, and the bones of the Final Fantasy stuff from that idea became the groundwork for "Project 47" (a scifi/fantasy hybrid universe I was working on until the Zelda brainrot took over).
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No. I did have someone edit one of my Trek stories once, and couple people loaned me ship designs. Actually had a couple people reinterpret a couple of my (bare bones) ship designs.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E! No wait, U.S.S. Defiant! No wait! U.S.S. Prometheus (the one from VOY: Message in a Bottle)!
... Wait ...
Whoops! Wrong kind of ship!
*Ahem* Now that I've got that out of my system... I've said before that I'm not really much of a shipper... But I've read a few Revalink fics and uh... there's some vibes there. Actually the first few Zelda fics I read were Revalink. I was pointed @coconi's Shared Sunrises series as an example of a Corrupted Champions AU that actually discussed PTSD and such. After reading that and some other recommendations, I kinda spiraled from there...
I guess Alucard and Greta from the 2017 Castlevania anime series would be my OTP for that franchise. In my fic idea they have a kid. (Or at least Alucard and a version of Greta since she's exclusive to the anime which is adapted mostly from Castelvania III but includes stuff from Curse of Darkness but makes changes that possibly set it in an AU but maybe in my fic I do a little of both? IDK still working on stuff...). Then there's Morana and Striga from the same (does it count as a ship if they're actually a couple in canon?) TBH this is in part cause I love Striga's design.
Other than that: Midna/Link (I mean, they have a daughter in my fic so, yeah...), Crusher/Picard, maybe Zelda/Link (but specifically with the BotW/TotK versions). But I'm not going to freak out about anything.
But when it comes to fic, as long as the journey's good then I'm not too picky.
15. What's a wip that you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
For sure, my Star Trek epic and Stargate fic and dead. And while I think about them from time to time, and even consider adding stuff from some of the newer Treks (the Spore Drive would actually work really well with one of those aliens I mentioned earlier), I just don't have the motivation to work on them anymore.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I have been told that I am good at worldbuilding and action scenes.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I am not that great at describing human characters... For example, I have probably like three pages (at least) describing a Rito OC's appearance, clothes, gear, "hair"style, etc. But elsewhere I introduce a blacksmith to Hateno Village and he's just "a burly, brown haired Hylian man." (Although I dare say I used to be worse, so many characters in my Trek fic were just "Male Andorian", "Female Klingon", "Male Trill", "Female Vulcan", "Male Human (slight accent to indicate ethnicity)"/Ensign Ivan the Redshirt [that way you know he's Russian *wink*])
I also have to keep reminding myself to describe the scenery cause I spend so much energy focusing on what the characters are doing. Also have to keep reminding myself to put in indicates that time is passing (i.e. sun setting, moon rising, phase of the moon).
I probably have a few over used phrases.
18. Thoughts on writing dialog in another language for a fic?
Well... I did a little scene for my Castlevania fic idea that was set in Austria so the first bit of dialog (just two words really) was in German then everything else was in English. Basically as a way to let the reader know where they were but then just putting them in the character's place after that so translating for them? I guess? That was the idea any way.
I took a couple semesters of German in college but don't remember much, so I resorted to Google Translate. I had another scene later that had a different character getting yelled at by cops and they said stuff in German then he replied with "Mein Name ist Alexander Cronqvist." (My name is...). Google Translate gave me something different for "My name is..." so I just went with what I remembered from college.
(I did however throw in a “Oh Scheiße!” cause I love the word scheiße, and do in fact use it IRL. And I was amazed that Google Translate actually translated shit (I knew the word, just not how to spell it.)
*shrug* I like the idea, but I feel like it could end up being a lot of work.
I do have Rito speaking in a made up Rito language in my fic, but I'm not about to actually write out "Chirp, chirp, [beak clack], [whistle], EEP!" (Though I think at one point I have Link describing Kass as making a "long chittering whistle followed by a loud clacking of his beak.") Like honestly, I'd be totally lost if you asked me to describe most bird's calls...
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Star Trek, summer of 2005 as a way of coping with the cancellation of Star Trek: Enterprise. (To put this in perspective, at least one Star Trek series had been on the air constantly since 1987 at that point, I got into the franchise in the early 90's so it had been a constant presence in my life for a decade.) [The ideas for said fic had been bouncing around in my head for years before I started writing though.]
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Oh that's hard... The Tale of the Realm Walker holds a special place for me, I had intended on it being fairly short, (it was framed as Revali's mother reading him the story) but I basically ended up writing a whole damn Zelda game AND doing character development on Revali too (after expanding on what was a throw away line to introduce his parent's names)
I could also say The Ballad of Kass is my favorite, and not only cause Kass is in it. Making up his sister has been a lot of fun and took me in some directions I hadn't intended to go. Plus it's also given me the chance to do more with some of the other Rito.
No pressure tags: @coconi, @ghirahimbo

wanted to make a little blog post documenting some real life going ons and things i've been playing/watching! :o
Truthfully not much going on IRL for me as it is too cold to do anything 🥴 I keep saying the moment it gets hot here I'll be up early and take advantage of good weather like I'm not going to run back inside to an AC-chilled room the moment I start sweating too much LOL Also took a brief hiatus from the gym just to focus on some life/hobby stuff after work, still been going good with my dieting so it's not a big issue. So besides that, really not much going on. Been slacking on making art lately but trying to work on something atm. In regards to stuff I've been indulging in lately: Games:
FFXIV: 6.1 dropped so I've been having fun with the game again after a brief break. I've been enjoying the PVP revamp to an extent, sadly not enough to grind for the Garo mounts sorry LOL Sailers also did some Endsinger EX and that was a lot of fun! Current goal is to get a clear from that and go back to leveling crafters.
NEO: The World Ends With You: I started this one about... a month ago now, I wanna say? I've absolutely been loving everything about this game so far and am always listening to the OST on my way to work everyday LOL Probably about more than halfway done with the game and if postgame stuff isn't too annoying to go through maybe I'll do it right after... or just save it for an NG+ run in the future. But I'm having a blast for sure right now.
Twisted Wonderland: I'm only mentioning this because lately I fall off of gachas really quickly. The moment leveling units starts to feel like work the uninstall is inevitable. However, since the game is really more a card collector visual novel where stats don't matter, I don't feel nearly as stressed to do shit. It's nice. My plans after NTWEWY are to either pick up Kirby or start DQXI which has been on the backburner for a while but it'll most likely be Kirby. I need a bit of a JRPG break after this lol Shows/Channels I've been watching:
The Ultimatum: What can I fucking say about this honestly?? You are not immune to watching straight people be messy as shit on one of these trash tv shows. I fucking love it.
Rilakkuma and Kaoru: Already seen this one when it came out, but gave it a light re-watch as background noise while doing some drawing last night. I'm still mad they'll never make more of this, it still warms my heart as much as the first time I watched it.
I Will Always Travel For Food: If you are familiar with TabiEats (foodie vlog channel run by two Japanese dudes named Shinichi and Satoshi), you'll also probably know this one? It's a side channel run by Shinichi where he doesn't talk and just quietly shows stuff and adds commentary through subtitles. I watch his other two channels where he tends to talk (not that I have an issue with that LMAO) it's just that I tend to prefer the ASMR on it and reading the subs. If you like Japanese food and restaurants (and are also possibly trying to fill the niche of not being able to go to Japan rn), I recommend this! The Ultimatum is giving me a 90 day Fiance itch again so that feels like something that I'll be watching sometime soon LOL And that's pretty much what I've been into as of late 😤

Hullo!! I was wonderin if the Minish were in your headcanon? Or if ya thought about em at all?
Heyooo! :3 As a matter of fact, I have indeed thought about the Minish! I was heavily considering making them one of the core races in one of the kingdoms but I ultimately scrapped that idea in favor of just making them simple Spirits. As a quick recap to how the mystical and divine work in my headcanon for the LoZ world, Spirits are the lowest level of divine magic beings you could come across, and are often the creations of Guardian Spirits to help aid them in watching and protecting the realm. I’ve yet to consider who the Minish’s Guardian Spirit is, but for now, some headcanon on the Minish themselves:
They’re tiny, adorable critters who make their homes out of the hollows of tree trunks or teeny tiny caves and are known for recycling non-essentials and forgotten items from homes: buttons, needles, litter, anything left behind they can recycle into new uses. They’re kinda like the “Borrowers” in such a way.
Minish are said to be bringers of good luck and the people of Hyrule often build tiny bins to put their unwanted things in. These bins are then placed in front of shrines dedicated to forest spirits, where it’s best accessible to the Minish without being seen. It’s said that in the place of the bin will be a Kinstone, which is believed to be the common currency among the Minish, as a form of thanks and payment. These tiny medallions are a lot like how we see a Rabbit’s Foot, and therefore has value in the good luck they are thought to bring the owner of one.
-Additional funfact! Despite often making their homes in trees or small caves, the Minish are known to also have homes or networks in the houses of their much larger neighbors. The races are able to distinguish them from mice due to the holes in the walls they use to go in and out of the house are obvious and actually have doors; they feel no need to hide their presence, although they themselves keep out of sight. A Minish using your home as their place of refuge or a part of their elaborate networks through towns and cities is considered an honor and an obvious sign that good fortune will head your way, so long as you treat the Minish with respect.
As such, just like the likes of the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus, parents will often tell their children to leave little treats and gifts for the Minish in exchange for a Kinstone: if the child has been good, their offer will be accepted and a Kinstone will be left behind. If the child is extra good, the Minish might even show themselves to them! :)
I actually did a redesign of them like a year ago and drew inspiration from Hollow Knight for the design, but I’m thinking them looking a bit like mice is actually cuter, so I might end up redesigning them again soon. O:

Makers in a time of pandemic
Tumblr media
A funny thing happened on the way to the pandemic. Neoliberalism's imperative to look only at how things work (not how they fail) created lean, overstretched supply chains that allowed investors to extract huge surpluses from companies (AKA: why everything is made in China).
But even as distributed, local productive capacities around the world were being dismantled (redundancy != inefficiency), the maker movement was on the rise, expressing a kind of inchoate urge to be able to make, fix and improve things close to home.
https://www.fastcompany.com/90489974/the-maker-faire-spirit-is-helping-the-world-tackle-the-covid-19-crisis
And today, the gaps in the supply chain are being filled by the makers inspired by Make Magazine, Maker Faire, and the new DIY movement.
I've long been fascinated by the way that modern makerism diverges from the old DIY/hobbyist movement of the Modern Mechanix era. The key difference is networked collaboration: if I have a project idea or question, I can easily locate similar projects for inspiration.
Tumblr media
Then I can ask questions and solicit suggestions from ad-hoc communities clustered around projects similar to mine; the electronic, written nature of these brainstorming sessions means that they form a permanent palipmsest that future makers can refer to.
In addition to shopcraft and praxis spreading shoulder-to-shoulder in workshops (which happens in makerspaces, obvs), there's this invisible, massive continuous knowledge-transfer happening across time and space, thanks to networks.
Today, we see that happening at speed, as plans, techniques, sources and improvements fly around the world at network speed, with makers taking on both production and maintenance of medical and safety equipment.
Meanwhile, the medtech companies that treated service, parts, schematics and technical documentation as trade-secrets that secured a proprietary market advantage have taken a massive beating as the failings of this model were made manifest.
https://pluralistic.net/2020/04/15/invigilation/#loz-im-gain
The pressure has taken its toll: the biggest ventilator companies in the world are opening up their document repositories to enable local repair and maintenance.
https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/884zvx/ventilator-companies-finally-make-the-life-saving-devices-easier-to-repair
It's by no means complete, but it's a start. And in the meanwhile, guerilla efforts like Ifixit's repository of med-tech service manuals and documentation are filling in the gaps.

Snapped, offset rocks.
When one continent grinds slowly into another and the rocks in between (whether marine or terrestrial) are slowly crushed and thrust upwards, the resulting tectonic forces create huge networks of faults as the rocks crack, along with subsidiary mountain ranges as the stresses redistribute though the landmasses.
The main ranges are created by giant thrust faults, when huge slabs of rock (called nappes after the French for tablecloth) detach from the underlying layers along a weaker layer of rock and push up over the continents. At roughly right angles to these, subsidiary faults redistribute stress through the surrounding plate as it heaves and groans up a new mountain range and its surrounding landscape pattern. Try shoving your tablecloth across the table as if your hand was a continent and you will quickly see how the stress patterns distribute, even though cloth is a very different material to rock. The Piquiang fault is located in Xinjian province, China, on the fringes of the mighty Tien Shan, and is picked out wonderfully by the varying colours and origins of the lightly tilted sedimentary rocks smiling up at the camera. Far to the south, India is crashing into Asia, and a whole clump of mountain chains across the continent continue to grow. The Himalaya are the best known, but many other chains are growing further inland, including the Hindu Kush, Altai, and Pamirs, petering out into rolling hills and ridges such as those of Burma, Vietnam and northern Thailand.
The fault trends northwest, and is a strike slip one like the San Andreas, where blocks of rock are sliding past each other as Asia shudders. Running for some 70km, at the point where it reveals itself so clearly in the photo, it is crossing some colourful sedimentary rocks that pick it out perfectly through their beautiful 3 km offset. The bottom layers are greyish cream limestones, deposited in shallow Cambrian and Ordovician seas (542-443 million years or Ma). The sea subsided in the Silurian (443-420Ma), becoming a deeper marine oxygen poor environment, represented by the darker grey and green layers of sandstone in the middle of the sandwich. Their colour is due to unoxidised iron, that tells us the chemistry of the depositional environment.
In the following Devonian period (419-359Ma) the land rose above the waves again. The grains in the red sandstones sitting above the marine sediments are covered in a fine patina of rust giving the rocks their colour. They were originally deposited in rivers just as land plants were beginning to take over the shaping of the landscape. Other rocks were deposited on top, but have now been removed by erosion.
Their current geological adventure involves being gently tilted upwards into parallel brightly coloured ridges some 1200 metres high in the Keping Shan thrust belt. Like many mountain chains, these peaks have had multiple rises and falls. They first formed some 300 million years ago when the Tarim block (a chunk of Australia) came crashing in. During the Mesozoic era (252 to 66 million years ago), several chains of volcanic islands collided with Asia, remobilising the faults and pushing new peaks upwards each time, only to be eroded in their turn.
And 80 million years back, the current ongoing collision started, bringing about the third incarnation of this mountain range, as new stresses push through the same old deep geological weak points in the underlying continental structures.

Shows voltron fans can move onto after leaving the fandom.
This fandom isn't going to last since many people hated the ending. Here are some new fandoms to join in if you are looking for something new to join.
1. Infinity train.
It comes out in 2019 on Cartoon Network and it has a lot of promise. It's a mystery based show so a lot of theories will be made on what will happen. It has a Gravity falls vibe.
2. My Hero Academia.
3 seasons are out so you can catch up with it before season 4 comes out next year. Also the movie is out so you can watch that too. If you haven't joined this fandom already you should it's nice and the shipping is NOT too toxic like it was for the voltron fandom.
3. Miraculous Ladybug.
Season 3 just started so you can catch up just like my hero academia. It's a great show and the plot is kicking in. The fandom is amazing too.
4. Avatar the last airbender live action series.
If you are old ATLA fans you would of heard of this. If you aren't then I advise you to watch avatar the last airbender before the live action series airs on Netflix in 2019. The fandom is reviving.
5. Steven Universe.
The series is at its final stages but you can still catch up if you want the episodes. Get a guide on what episodes to watch since a lot of them a filler episodes. But if you want to watch them all go for it.
The fandom is good too. I'm not a full SU fan but I enjoy the fandom
6. The Dragon Prince
This fandom is so fun and the show is amazing. Season 1 has come out and season 2 comes out next year. I know many voltron fans watch the dragon prince but if you havent give it a go. You wouldn't regret it.
7. The Legend of Zelda series on Netflix
This series is supposedly in the talks with the producers of the castlevania series. This series may happen and if it does I will be excited. The LOZ fandom is amazing as a video game series and a animated series could happen in 2019.
8. Black Sands (cartoon)
This hasn't officially come out yet but it's a new cartoon to air in 2019. It's set in a Egypt setting with black characters were there are kingdoms and wars. I hope the show is successful.
I can't think of anything else but these are my suggestions.

Project 47 for the WIP game!
Thanks for the ask! Oh that's a popular one. Gonna summarize what I said for @zeawesomebirdie here (and probably reveal some new stuff in the process).
So "Project 47" is the codename for a sci-fi/fantasy hybrid story that can be described in Hollywood "High Concept" terms as The Expanse meets Final Fantasy. I believe I've mentioned it to you before, but it is based on some ancient FF/LoZ crossover ideas that I had, which became purely FF ideas, then got spun off into an original universe. (I did salvage some ideas for "The Realm Walker from this old idea.)
So, you've got humans (in universe sapient species (also commonly refereed to as mortals/mortal-kind/etc.) names are always capitalized) living along side multiple non-human sapients on two Earth sized moons around a gas giant twice the size of Jupiter. I strove for as much scientific accuracy as I could so there was a LOT of research into all sorts of things, from astronomical stuff when designing to solar system, to taxonomy when I came up with the taxonomy for the various peoples. And while I love Star Trek, I wanted to avoid the rubber forehead alien trope so most of the non-humans aren't very humanoid. For example, the Avestrens are even more bird than the Rito, they can walk upright, but when going into a run adopt a stance more like a mockingbird or velociraptor.
The core of the story is that a nation on one moon (The Takara Alliance) builds an aerospace ship (basically a fantasy airship with rockets attached) to explore the other moon. They've known it was inhabited for a long time now and have been keeping an eye on it with telescopes and even have a network of satellites orbiting it.
They originally planed for a five year mission (cause Star Trek reference, possibly even in-universe as I'm certain in my musings on this there was an in-universe equivalent) to study the moon in person (like how the Federation disguises people to study pre-warp civilizations), but a probe they sent to the edge of the solar system captured images of a derelict aerospace ship.
Thanks to the alignment of the planets, they had a once in a hundred (or longer) years chance to investigate this thing in person. This results in the ground crew having to go it alone for eight years and stretches the crew on the ship to their limits. (For example, they've got hydroponics bays to grow plant based food, but the Avestrens are hypercarnivores, they can't really process plant based food very well. They've got something akin to a protein synthesizer but the goo it produces isn't very appetizing, so the ship's captain (an Avestren) grinds up strawberries in it (little nutritional value for him so kinda like junk food) to make it look a little more appetizing/taste like something.)
I had planed to post a series of oneshots more or less on DA to lead up to the main story but never got very far. The one thing I posted I took down cause I wasn't happy with it.
But lucky for you, I feel like reposting it! So here is "The Assignment", where a sapientologist (what Star Trek would call a xenoanthropologist, which would literally translate to "one who studies strange men" BTW) is recruited for the mission. (BBC America was rerunning X-Files a lot back when I was working on this, so the sapientologist (Dr. Zara Kaladi) ended up getting modeled after Dana Scully a little (visually at least, character wise you could make comparisons to Dr. Daniel Jackson from the Stargate franchise)). Gonna put it below the cut (disclaimer it's a little rough, and was the first thing I wrote in novel format since high school after years of writing in script format for my Trek and Stargate fics so perspective is a little wonky...)
An older Human woman with light skin, red hair, and blue eyes wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans sits at a table eating breakfast, a simple bowl of cereal.  She is reading something on tablet computer, a news report.  On the screen the date is visible, Merzav 1, 350 AF.  The headline reads “Prototype aerospace ship Korus set to launch soon.”  Before she read more a doorbell rings.
The woman stands up, and we can tell she is 1.6 m tall and roughly 47 kg.  She walks out of the room and into a living room.  In the corner we can see some half-unpacked suitcases then a large bookshelf.   The room is somewhat larger than your average living room.  The doorbell rings again.
The woman finally reaches the door, a wider than average door that is at least 2.7 m tall, and activates a screen off to the side.  The screen displays a pair outside the house, a Human woman about 1.7 m tall and 49 kg in weight with light skin, brown eyes, and black hair dressed in a black business suit and a 2.1 m tall, 48 kg humanoid bird with an eagle-like head and beak, an Avestren.
The white feathers on its throat and grey feathers on top of its head and running down towards its back are a clear sign that it is female.  She has green eyes and a stripe of dark blue feathers extending from behind her eyes and running down the sides of her neck.  Her clothing is similar to a housecoat but one side appears to be fastened with buttons and it has short sleeves.   This garment is white in color with what looks like military metals attached to it, there is also a name tag but we can’t read it on the screen.  Rank insignia are visible on the tops of the shoulders; they are an aqua color with two gold four-point stars on top, a silver lightning bolt, and three silver stripes.  She is also holding a briefcase, her hand and arm are covered in yellow scales.
The homeowner presses a button on the screen.  “What is it?” she asks.
The woman outside presses another button and replies, “Dr. Kaladi, we’re sorry to disturb you so soon after returning from your sabbatical.   I’m Dr. Jiwoo Byon from the Alliance Space Administration and this is Commander Zunala (Zu-nala) from the Air Defense Force.  We’re here with an exciting research opportunity for you.  May we come in?”
“An exciting research opportunity?” Dr. Kaladi thinks to herself, “I’m a sapieologist and archeologist, what could the ASA and ADF want with me?”.   Dr. Kaladi opens the door and asks, “What kind of opportunity?”.
“The kind that comes once in a lifetime.” Dr. Byon replies.
Dr. Kaladi raises an eyebrow in interest and after a moment responds “Come in.”  She holds the door open and the two enter the house.  She closes the door.
Dr. Kaladi walks over to the couch and lifts up the cushion revealing a horizontal bar underneath.  She motions to the couch and Dr. Byon sits on the other cushion while Comm. Zunala perches on the bar and sets the briefcase on the table.  “Can I get you anything?” she asks, being polite.
“No thanks.” Comm. Zunala replies, sounding, and looking, not unlike a parrot mimicking Human speech.
Dr. Kaladi sits in a chair next to the couch.  “So what’s this once in a lifetime opportunity?” she asks.
Dr. Byon responds “I assume by now you’ve heard of the new ship we’re building.”
“Of course, I have, it’s been all over the news for the past month.” Dr. Kaladi thinks to herself before responding “The Korus right?”
“Yes.  We’re looking for specialists for its first real mission.” Dr. Byon replies.
“Specialists?” Dr. Kaladi asks.
Comm. Zunala responds, “Yes.  As you know the Korus is a joint venture between the ADF and the ASA.   While the ASA does have a number of scientists suited to missions the Korus can accomplish there are a few positions left unfulfilled on a mission of this nature.”
Intrigued, Dr. Kaladi asks, “What is the nature of this mission?”
“A long-term survey of Serov.” Dr. Byon responds.
“We already have several…” Dr. Kaladi stops mid-sentence, her eyes widen as she realizes, “…You’re going to land a research team on Serov!”
“Indeed.” Comm. Zunala responds as she opens the briefcase and pulls out a tablet.
She hands it to Dr. Kaladi, who asks “What is this?”
Comm. Zunala responds “A standard issue NDA, which you will need to sign if you accept this assignment.”
“Why do I need to sign an NDA?” Dr. Kaladi asks, obviously annoyed.
Comm. Zunala responds “First, we’re not ready for the general public to learn about this mission yet.  Second and most importantly, the Korus is a military research vessel.  As such during your time aboard the ship and on the ground team you may learn military secrets, it is vital to national security that you do not reveal these secrets.”
Dr. Kaladi reads over the NDA for some time, “Wait, the Intelligence Service is going to look over any papers I write about research conducted during the mission?” she asks, visibly upset.
“Yes,” Comm. Zunala responds, “We must ensure your compliance with the NDA.”
“They won’t censor your research.  They just want to make sure you don’t reveal any military secrets.” Dr. Byon adds.
Dr. Kaladi looks annoyed, after a few moments of awkward silence Dr. Byon looks at Comm. Zunala and says, “Why don’t you give the two of us a moment?”
Comm. Zunala cocks her head to the right in bird like fashion while looking at the woman and replies, “Alright.”
Dr. Kaladi sets down the tablet, “Fine, let’s talk upstairs.” She tells Dr. Byon.  The two Humans head upstairs while Comm. Zunala waits in the living room.
In an upstairs hallway Drs. Kaladi and Byon talk.  “Look, I know your uneasy working with the military.  A lot of us over at the ASA are too, but they are the only ones with the resources and interest in building a ship like the Korus.”  She tells Dr. Kaladi.
“Oh, the ASA can’t build a spacecraft?” Dr. Kaladi responds sarcastically.
Dr. Byon replies, “Not one with the capabilities of the Korus, we just don’t have the resources.  We’re lucky the ADF agreed to work with us on it and that Tiryraku (Tiri-raku) insisted on the Korus being a research vessel.  There’s just so much we can do with the Korus, first hand observations of Serov are just the tip of the iceberg here.”
Dr. Kaladi knows Dr. Byon is right; the chance to find out what happened in The Wastelands of Damrov or find out how that continent on the near side was frozen over and what is keeping it frozen over; this is too important of an opportunity to pass up, “Fine.” She says and they walk back downstairs.
Comm. Zunala is standing over by the bookshelf looking at a figurine on a table.  It is of a Human male wearing full plate mail armor holding a long katana up towards the sky in his right hand.  The figurine is made of wood and though it looks as if it was made with primitive tools, it is intricately detailed, especially the strange symbols on the blade of the katana.  Drs. Kaladi and Byon emerge from upstairs and walk over to Comm. Zunala, who asks, “Is this from the Zanik Islands?”
“Yes” Dr. Kaladi responds with a confused look on her face, “How did you know?”
“My grandfather is from the Zanik Islands.” Comm. Zunala responds.
“Really?” Dr. Kaladi asks, genuinely surprised, the Avestrens living in the Zanik Islands rarely make contact with outsiders.
“Yes,” Comm. Zunala responds, “He was fishing and got caught in a storm and was rescued by an Alliance fishing vessel.  My grandmother saved his life and they fell in love and he moved here.  He made my mother a figurine just like this one.  How did you get this?”
“I traded a gold necklace for it while I was doing my graduate work there.”  Dr. Kaladi responds.
Dr. Byon inquires “Why would the Avestrens living there make a figurine of a Human warrior?”
Comm. Zunala replies “It’s from an old legend.  They called him Kurakilas (Kura-key-laas), he was a senior warrior in the Drachegarde and lead a team that stopped a Gureri horde from invading the islands roughly 1,000 years ago.”
“There’s a temple with giant stone statues of him and the rest of his team back on the islands.” Dr. Kaladi adds, “Seeing evidence of Drachegarde myths in such a distant and isolated place is what got me researching The Celestial War in the first place.”
Dr. Byon asks, “Kurakilas?”
Comm. Zunala looks at her “It loosely translates as Savior”.
After a moment Dr. Byon breaks the silence “Well, should we get back to business.”  Dr. Kaladi and Comm. Zunala nod and move towards the couch.
Drs. Kaladi and Byon sit down in their original places.  Dr. Kaladi picks up the tablet, reads over it for a moment and signs it.  While setting down the tablet she queries, “So when does this mission start?”
Dr. Byon responds, “The Korus launches on her maiden voyage in a few days, during that mission it will scout a camp site on Serov before returning home.  Right now, we’re aiming for a launch in the middle of Hirzav.  That will give you about two months of training for liftoff and reentry.”
Dr. Kaladi asks, “How long is this mission?”
Comm. Zunala replies, “We’re planning for three to five years, but we’re prepared to adjust that depending on how things go.”
“Any more questions?” Dr. Byon asks.
After a few moments Dr. Kaladi responds, “No.”
Comm. Zunala takes the tablet and puts it in the briefcase and takes a folder out of the briefcase.  “This contains all that you’ll need to know before the mission starts.  We’ll get back with you when we’re ready to start your training.”
Dr. Kaladi takes the folder and the three stand up and head towards the door.  Dr. Kaladi opens it and Dr. Byon and Comm. Zunala walk out.  After a moment she shuts the door and walks over to the couch.  She sets the folder on the table and lowers the couch cushion.  The folder’s cover is visible and says “KSSM-0147 Mission Briefing, Top Secret”.

Here's a link to my DA gallery for Project 47, which I also liked in the previous post that hopefully linked properly in this post... Contains lore articles as well as artwork (ships, weapons, crude maps, and alphabets!).

Hi gorgeous reader!
Study with Me: April 10th 2018
I started off my today by waking up at 10am and making myself breakfast. I always try to make sure I have breakfast because without it my focus will fall much faster than it should.
10:30
The first part of my inorganic chemistry homework was to go through the whole of chapter 4 in the CGP notebook and answer all exam questions. I started this yesterday, so this only took me about an hour to finish! All together it came to 6 sides of work.
11:30
Next I completed the second part of my inorganic chemistry homework. For anyone who doesn’t do chemistry at A-level in the UK, alongside the chemistry specification we have to complete a practical endorsement to show competency with chemicals and such. For the assessment I was writing up today, we had to identify 5 unknown compounds using a series of tests for ions and flame tests.
In the assessment I wrote down all my observations of each experiment and today and used those observations to work out what the test was meant to be and identify each compound. I used the CGP textbook to help me with this and eventually managed to work them all out!
12:00
I took a break from homework and moved to blogging. I took some time to make final edits to my blog post Ways to Study and finally posted that! Admittedly, I was (and still am) a little nervous about the feedback I will get, but I’m positive you will all be kind and constructive!
After I was sure it was all correctly published, I promoted the blog on my instagram.
1:00
I took a break for lunch and spent a bit of time going through other wordpress blogs and leaving comments for others. We are all here to share and network, after all!
Side note: if you would like me to check out your blog, link me your latest post in my comments and I will check it out and leave a like!
1:30
I went on my laptop after lunch to make a new set of Quizlet cards – a small set on AS Biology Chapter 1 section 2, nucleic acids! After I was happy with them I spent a little bit of time revising them using the test feature on Quizlet.
  3:00
Most of my homework for the Easter holiday is already done, but I still have one piece left which is a Maths statistics and mechanics test – one of the subjects I struggle most with. Because I know I find it so hard, I took my time with the questions I did, going over the theory behind it, which meant I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked, but I was confident with the work I had done!
At 4:00 I was starting to get a tired and I could feel my focus slipping more and more, so I decided to give myself a (guilt free) rest from studying. My theory is that if you force yourself to continue working when you know you’re pushing yourself too far, then you will burn yourself done and end up being less productive than you would have been with a break!
6:00
I took time before dinner to go over my Quizlet Biology sets for chapter 1, which is mainly coming on well. Most of my revision for the next few weeks will be Biology based, as the only external AS exam I am doing is in Biology; the chemistry and maths tests I am sitting will be internally marked so are less important.
7:00
After eating I continued with my maths paper so that the whole of the statistics section was completed. Because I still wasn’t confident, I went through the relevant pages in my textbook to refresh myself, but I really need to make some notes on them (a task for another day!).
8:00
I wrapped up my study day by making more textbook notes on biological molecules. In all honesty, I’m worried that I’m behind on where I should be so that I can have the whole AS course covered by my exam, so I’ve planned to schedule more Biology sessions, particularly in my free periods once I’m back at school!
On that note, would you guys be interested in seeing a post on how to efficiently use your school free periods? I’ve gathered a few tips of my own (and had plenty of unproductive free periods too) that I feel could benefit others!
That was all for today’s study session! Personally I felt it was quite productive despite taking quite a long break in the middle, but it was also necessary otherwise I doubt I would have had the energy to come back and continue working after dinner.
What did you guys think of my first Study with Me? Leave your suggestions down below and let me know!
