Sometimes he takes you along with him to events & photoshoots. For most shoots he can’t take you on set, but just having you in the same city calms his nerves a bit. Paris is one of his favorite cities to visit. 

One of his favorite moments to indulge in is the quiet calmness found in the morning. Sun rays shine through the luxurious hotel blinds and cover the room in a staggered array of beauty. You two lay, a tangle of limbs, within the pristine white sheets. Hyunjin tries not to make a sound as he admires your effortless beauty before you wake. Your cheek is squished against the pillow, which he thinks is cute.

On his free day between shooting, He invties you to a walk on the riverside. In a world that is so fast-paced, he has learned to appreciate the seemingly ordinary. You hold his hand as the light breeze passes by. The emerald green leaves flutter up in the branches of the trees that line the walkway. As you walk, A swan meanders through the slow current of the river. It catches your eye, with its elegant white feathers and curved neck. With your free hand, you point to it. Hyunjin comments, ‘It’s not as beautiful as you, though.’ Always jinnie and his cheesy compliments. 

Sometimes, he will send you concept photos or videos of a shoot he’s on for your thoughts. Honestly, he just needed an excuse to text you. He’ll ask, ‘Do I look good here? What about this one?’ In what universe does he ever not look good?? 

He loves taking you to the fanciest, most elegant restaurants. Even if it’s not really your vibe, he’ll try to persuade you. He’ll pay for everything, help you pick an outfit, whatever it takes. He wants you to be comfortable and safe in your own skin. 

He is your #1 supporter when you’re going shopping. If you thought your best friend persuaded you to buy more than you need, you haven’t met Hyunjin. He gives out compliments like crazy. They don’t have your size? He will find an employee to order it for you. He will never hesitate to get you what you deserve. Window shopping is nonexistent, because he will drag you into the store instead of just peering through the window. 

Hyunjin doesn’t get jealous for every little thing, but he does notice when someone crosses a line, and he’ll step in. He is an expert at reading body language. It’s something you’ve always loved about him; he is observant and notices the small details. He can tell when you need him a little more than usual, or if you need some space to think. 

In public, he puts on his ‘business’ persona, which is classy, cool, calm, and collected. The aura he radiates is astonishing. He exudes elegance. However, in the comfort of your own home/hotel room, he has a tendency to be clingy and sugary sweet. There’s a reason he’s the drama llama! He’ll pout, whine, make random noises too. Sometimes when he’s bored he’ll strike a model pose or two in the living room just for fun. He constantly has to be touching you in some way; back hugs, shoulder/neck/waist rubs, anything :(

This is especially escalated when he can smell your presence. He loves the smell of you. With perfume, without, or just your regular shower gel has him go crazy. He’ll nuzzle his face into your neck, and play around with the collar of your shirt. 

Your high rise penthouse is chic, with the perfect mix of modern yet ‘old money’ vibes. White and black with accents of warm gold. Kkami has definitely made himself feel at home, too. With no concept of personal space, that dog will leap into your lap at any given chance. Particularly while you’re lounging on the couch or on the bed. Hyunjin jokes that Kkami might like you more than he does. Especially since Kkami does growl when Jinnie gets too close. 

He lives in those designer shirts, like the white ones that simply say Gucci, Versace, etc. on the front. Just a simple house shirt and sweats when he wants to be comfy. His shoulder-lenth hair is slightly disheveled, and small strands lay across his forehead and fall into his eyes. His lips are so glossy and pouty, just begging to be kissed. So you do. His head is resting against your shoulder, so you have to do some maneuvering. His response? A small hum and the most delicate smile gracing his face.

After going shopping, he makes you do a ‘fashion show’ in your living room with all the stuff you bought. It’s silly, but he loves it as a couple’s activity.

He loves to create matching couple outfits. Not that cliche cringry kind though. His vision is that your outfits complement eachother in aesthetic ways. Spending as much time as he does with the fashion industry means that he’s picked up a style tip or two. In no way does he see you as incompetent, he will always let you wear whatever you want or say no. But, he just can’t help but try to elevate your style and maybe put his own touch on the things you wear. It’s like his own type of love language. And it’s not like his advice is bad, either. At this point, both of your closets have influences from each other’s styles, and maybe some stolen pieces as well. It goes back to the part where he loves your scent. Scarves especially, because they hold your perfume so well. He will hold it up to his face and it instantly fills him with thoughts of you.

Well Llama, you’ve got me hooked on another one of your aus. That post about kids visiting the harpy aviary reminded me of my own field trips as a kid. I…may have gotten a reputation for wandering off and getting lost. NEVER on purpose, mind you, it just always seemed to happen! I can guarantee I would have found my way into Skull’s enclosure. With that in mind, what WOULD our loveable teddy bird do if a kid somehow wandered in?

I'll do you one better. Here's how all of them would respond to a child wandering into their enclosure.

Sans: Usually, when anyone who isn't Mc approaches the grouchy harpy while he's sleeping, he gets extra vicious at his sleep being interrupted and lashes out. Many staff who got too close/confident have the laceration scars to prove his favouritism toward Mc. Let sleeping dogs lie, as they say.

... But even though anyone watching can clearly see his sockets open a fraction at the approach of the child, he does absolutely nothing, continuing to lounge around like they aren't even there. The kid literally wanders up to him, touching his soft plumage, and he does little more than snore. He's like a lion dad with a fussy cub- they could cuddle up next to him, shout and scream, jump on him, pull his feathers, anything. He might even play with them a bit... pretending to roll over in his sleep and pinning them under a wing. Oh no, gravity is increasing on me...

He likes kids. He doesn't consider a child any kind of threat, unlike adults. This one is particularly funny. He also very much enjoys the attention Mc gives him for being so gentle.

Red: Kids find him cool so it makes sense one would eventually find a way to wander in. He used to not really care about children, but after he started courting a human woman, he's grown very fond of human kids. It's one of the reasons he seems so delighted when groups of them come to visit the aviary.

... But obviously, this kid isn't his biologically. So there's a worry he won't tolerate them in his space. Not the case, though! If Sans is the lazy lion dad, Red is the grumpy one. If a kid entered his enclosure and started following him around, he resembles a slightly annoyed older brother with their delighted younger sibling shadowing him absolutely everywhere, but he still lets them do whatever they want. He lets them clamber on him, tug his feathers, touch his cool teeth and claws. Despite his constant annoyed expression, when staff come to the rescue he's got the kid on his shoulders where they gleefully prod his face and talk about flying.

He's quick to let out little warning growls if they get too rough. But that's it.

Skull: A kid who walked into Skull's aviary would have to be suitably unafraid of him. Which is his dream. He immediately scoops them up, and they play together for as long as possible, climbing and 'flying' and exploring. It's the best time he's had in a long time.

Unfortunately... then comes the removal process. Mc tries to do it slowly, tries to gradually convince Skull to let the kid go so he doesn't lash out. And she almost gets it- she can see in his eyelight that he's close to handing them over. But not close enough... the other staff panic and tranquillise him.

... Skull goes to sleep holding his baby. And he wakes up no baby. Mc stayed with him until he woke to try and mitigate the inevitable fallout, but her presence does little to calm him. His distress is obvious, he tears up his enclosure looking for them... and once he realises they're gone, he becomes completely inconsolable, curling up in the corner of his den. You don't have to be a harpy expert to know that the sounds he's making are ones of grief.

For at least a week, he's utterly despondent. He won't eat unless Mc is there, he just stays in his den, cradling his plushie. He always keeps it tucked under one wing... like he's hiding it.

(He's scared he'll lose that, too.)

WELCOME TO TOTAL DRAMA SIMS! The hottest new reality TV show on Simblr. I'm your host jonquilyst, and starting today 14 teenagers will gather to put their wits, guts, and strength to the test to see who can survive and persevere the longest. Buckle up, 'cause it's gonna be totally, absolutely insane!

Allow me to also welcome you to Camp Simsanakwa! Located somewhere along the coast of Brindleton Bay, this crappy summer camp will be our 14 contestants' new home! Here’s a little tour:

But the most exciting part is the campfire, where everyone will face the judgement of their fellow contestants, and the Dock of Shame, where losers will say goodbye to Total Drama Sims!

Absolutely one asked for this but I wanna say what all my favorite outfits are per character is bc I can!

First up, Miss Julie herself, the other day I said I can’t get over how pretty she is in this look so this isn’t that much of a surprise but I mean,

The shade of blue is so pretty on her and the illustration on her shirt is so cute. What also makes this look get double points too from me is bc of the whole how at the start Julie is in baggy clothes bc it’s a reflection of like her grief and where she is with it but then as the episodes continue her clothes get more personalized and like less baggy idk it’s just such a nice little detail and this is such a cute outfit to have be in the last episode for Julie that reflects where she is now with her grief since the boys are in her life now.

My absolute favorite Luke outfit is his llama jacket look,

You’re just used to seeing him in the black background color graphic tees with him and so to see him in this like lighter version of his wardrobe is nice. This one is also my favorite of his lil llama jacket 🥺 observe,

He’s got a llama on his pocket therefore it’s his llama jacket. Also too the jacket just looks so cozy, I mean all his jackets look incredibly comfortable (LOOKIN AT YOU SAD FLANNEL) but it’s easier to see the like individual like threads of it bc it’s white it just looks extra cozy.

My favorite Reggie outfit has to be this variation of his wardrobe,

Don’t get me started on the little detail that it’s implied through his outfits that he’s only got a couple things he can wear bc he always like reusing different things from his other outfits like he only has a rotation of a few things (that is a detail that implies so much about his character and like background of him and ugh I just love it but again don’t get me started). The white t-shirt with his red flannel just is like yes a basic look but idk he just suits it really well. (I love too how his belt matches his bass strap we love the coordination)

Call me basic but I love Alex’s debut outfit that we see,

Again he also just looks cozy with the hoodie and then also the denim material like jacket over it, I like the layering of it and like the distressed part of the jacket adds to it like it’s a good look, it makes it interesting to look at bc of the distress-ness in it. I like that he wears his Fanny pack across his body it’s a good look for him.

Naturally after Alex we have to discuss Willie, I love his lil sweater paws outfit,

This look of his is the closest to my personal choice of wardrobe so that’s probably why I like it as much as I do 😂 that hoodie just looks so comfy and oversized on him. To me too, him having this hoodie just implies that like Alex and him can share their hoodies WHICH IS JUST ADORABLE

My favorite Carrie fit is her like lounging at home look,

THE COLORS OF HER JACKET ARE SO GOOD TOGETHER AND THE DESIGN IS LIKE A SCRIBBLE LOOKING PATTERN ITS SO CUTE AND THEN HER SHIRT SAYS ROYALTY LIKE WHAT A QUEEN MOVE

The colors of this one just compliment really well together and I like her shirt, it’s very Carrie of her. This also does indeed give the feeling of an outfit you’d wear to just like relax in.

Lastly, hear me out on this one for Nick,

I like the coordination of hat that matches his hoodie. Like he put thought into at least what hat he’d wear with this which I respect. And like again the hoodie with his jean jacket he just looks warm and comfy in it (Also he doesn’t have that many outfit options compared to how many the others had but this is my top out of them all for his)

i started with my go-to simlicy save, so most of the residential lots and many of the community lots are by simlicy. i agonized over lot placement and number of each type of lot; i only ever play one family so it makes sense for me to have fewer residential lots and tons of community lots. i'm missing a lot of packs so this is pretty carefully curated to fit with what i do have (i'm used to replacing wallpaper and some furniture for most gallery builds but if it's missing much more than that I try a different lot). i love community lots that a) have things for sims to do and b) look pretty. all of these fit and i highly recommend every single one!!

a thing i'm proud of having done: my sister and I made a lot of hard decisions together about settling my mother's estate, and we were kind to ourselves and each other, but also were efficient and practical in sorting through 45 years worth of stuff. we are probably better friends now than we were when this started. a good thing that happened to me: got an unexpected raise, and my bestie made me a lounging robe covered in llamas in flamingo floaties.

It's never easy to make those kinds of decisions and deal with that kind of situation, and I'm VERY proud of you for making something good of it by becoming closer with your sister! That's awesome!

The Bearchelor: Episode 4

Previously on the Bearchelor...

Kevin: "Max. Please don't ever dance with me again."

And coming up...

Aldric: "Is kissing on the lips too much at this stage? Or should I just have gone for a kiss on the lips? Damn I should've gone for the lips, it's so obvious now. I suck at this game."

There are five contestants left in the Bearchelor pad, and things are getting steamy because today is the day our bachelor will be playing the kissing game. Each contestant will get one chance to exchange a smooch with the bachelor.

Aldric: "Is kissing on the lips too much at this stage? Or should I just have gone for a kiss on the lips? Damn I should've gone for the lips, it's so obvious now. I suck at this game."

Almeric: "No I've never kissed anyone, no I'm not going to make that obvious, so that tongue is going all the way in."

Castor: "This game is a much easier way to make out with Kevin than having to rig spin the bottle. We should do this more often."

Jared: "I'm not entirely sure what the "game" part of the kissing game is supposed to be, but just making out is a good time with me."

Max: "I'm going to be completely honest, I don't think my heart's in this. Things just haven't felt right since Mitch has been gone, ya know?"

While Kevin and the rest of the contestants are hanging out in the lounge, Max has retreated to the piano in front of the Bearchelor pad.

Max: "I don't actually play the piano, but I've heard making music is a good way to get emotions out, so I thought I'd give it a go."

As the time for the elimination approaches, Almeric appears uncharacteristically nervous (While Castor is eye fucking the camera)

Almeric: "The pressure has just really been getting to me, you know? There's only 5 of us left, and what if Kevin doesn't pick me? Hell, what if Kevin picks Aldric over me?"

The contestants gather outside for the elimination.

Kevin: "I feel like I've got to know all of you pretty well over these past few days. The people I've chosen to move on to the next round are Castor, Aldric and Almeric."

This leaves Max and Jared.

Kevin: "Max. You're a really nice guy, but I feel like there's something or someone on you mind. Jared. I'm attracted to you, but I don't know if that attraction is enough just yet. The person I have chosen to move on to the next round is...

Jared."

Kevin: "Max, it's been great getting to be your friend, but I feel like I can't let you continue here with you missing Mitch as much as you do."

Max: "It's cool, bro. Come visit us at ALT sometime, I'll make you my famous dino nugget noodles."

Kevin: "For the love of the Watcher please don't"

Max: "Wait for me, Mitch, I'm coming! Go Llamas!"

Poldine’s birthday post was all about her mother giving birth, so let’s have another post actually about her as a person :) Here are some things you should know about Pampoldine, daughter of Pampérigouste:

1. Poldine likes cats.

If you bring her a cat she WILL kiss it. And smell the fur of its belly. She mostly does this to Mascarille who is a very pliant and tolerant cat; Poldine is in good terms with Merricat as well but from a safe distance. Here’s Merricat’s answer to Poldine’s “kiss?”

2. Poldine likes humans but only those who have been introduced to her by a trusted cat. It’s like how at Versailles you could only be introduced to the Queen by a high-ranking noblewoman, you know. She’s a bit distrustful of strangers, but once you’ve come into her pasture accompanied by a cat and she’s kissed the cat and the cat has vouched for you (I assume) she will also kiss you.

If you don’t have a cat, you can try bringing her a piece of fruit.

3. Poldine likes bothering her entire family by lying down for a nap on the fresh hay I just brought for dinner.

Her mother in particular is always like “I meant to eat this blade of hay you’re sitting on. Yes this one specifically. Move”

If you scold her about lounging in her food and try to shoo her away so others can eat, Poldine will bring the hay net to you and disdainfully drop it at your feet like “hay in net is food. Hay on ground is bed.” That’s the main tenet of her philosophy.

4. Poldine likes reading but she thinks sniffing book pages and sometimes nibbling on them is how you develop a literary taste.

5. Poldine doesn’t like the halter but we’re getting there, little by little! She’s okay wearing it if you let her do whatever she wants (if you let her use the lead line to take you on a walk basically) but she’s still a bit huffy about being told where to go.

6. Poldine doesn’t like delinquency especially when it takes the form of her mum escaping the pasture and abandoning her

Pampérigouste just thinks her kid should grow up and learn to jump over fences like any self-respecting llama. Poldine tried it once or twice, gamely following her mother down the road of crime, but you can tell her heart’s not in it and she would prefer to be home, smelling books and cats, sitting on dinner, having wholesome legal fun.

LuLu Lounge Maxis Remodel

Inspired by Studio Town’s very own 82 Sunrise Boulevard (aka Fairchild Film Studios), I bring you my latest Maxis Remodel...LuLu Lounge! I first teased this back in September but I never quite happy with the interior (it is a huge footprint) so I kept trying different ideas and tweaking things. Nonetheless, I finally have declared it “done” and ready to share!

As usual, I did make some architectural changes. The whole building has been extended by one tile, mainly so I could dress up the entrance with two-story doors and a new marquee. The original description said LuLu Lounge offers velvet couches and ambient music, but as I leaned into the Studio Town aesthetic, I wanted something more “old Hollywood.” That meant lots of wood and a little art nouveau styling. The second floor is accessible but largely decorative, but there is a small office above the bathrooms if you want to run it as a business. Everything has been tested in a copy. The uploaded file has never been played. 

There is some CC included in the file, which is outlined below. Because this makeover was inspired by Studio Town, downloading the 1t2 conversions is vital to the lot appearing as shown. Please note that Argon’s seasonal topiares are bundled, so you’ll be getting the set of 5 (Egg, Skyscraper, Pyramid, Llama, and Dolphin). Thank you to the CC creators!

Iseul and Megan head to the gym to get in some exercise before their niece Cam invites them to head to Geek Con. They finish up their workout and head to San Myshuno's honeypop lounge, where the festival is taking place.

Cam greets her aunties, and excitedly tells Iseul how she took photos with some cosplayers, and how she wants to try the virtual game mats. Iseul grins at Cam's enthusiasm, and heads with her to try the game mats while Megan chats with her dad, who I think is dressed up as a sims version of Mario? "You look great, dad." Megan says, and Haoran grins. "Thanks sweetpea, your mom said I look very rugged and handsome in this costume." He adds, and Megan snorts. "Did she say that or did you?" Megan jokes and her dad laughs as they rib each other playfully.

Megan joins Iseul and Cam at the game mats and she does an ultimate gaming challenge. She just finishes clearing a Blick block level when she's thrown into a dungeon run type game and starts sprinting. "Simsus llama, I shouldn't have worn my platform sandals." She says to Iseul, who grins. "You snooze you lose, jagiya." Iseul lovingly teases back as Cam laughs.
