Conversations With Lizards

Carlos wakes in the middle of the night, and finds himself alone in bed. At the sound of TK's voice in the next room, Carlos panics, assumes TK is speaking with his sponsor, that he's woken up hurting once again. When he goes to offer TK a wordless check in, Carlos overhears an entirely different conversation...

Inexplicably, and out of nowhere, something stirs Carlos in the middle of the night. He can’t put his finger exactly on what, feels heavy and disoriented when he wakes, blinks into the darkness. It’s as if he’s been lurched back to consciousness from somewhere so far away. He’d been sleeping well, dreaming of something warm and sweet, but now his senses are sharpening, and he realises what he can hear.

A voice. Muffled, indistinguishable. Somewhere beyond their bedroom door, someone who shouldn’t be here.

The saga of Lou the lizard in 3x15 has to be the funniest part of season 3.

TK is so proud of himself for bringing home Lou and in the process of one episode Carlos goes through all five stages of grief.

“Do not say it crawled” is up there with my favourite quotes of the entire show.

TK failing miserably to distract Carlos from Lou being out of the cage. The face of deception on Carlos’ face is priceless.

And by the end episode and the destruction of the apartment, Carlos looking like he did just fight off someone breaking in, they decide it’s for the best if they let him free. It’s does show how much Carlos loves TK but we all know that.

But I do have to say these shots ^ are one of my favourites from all three seasons.
