Tess (Saintangelo)

- Grew up in Pre-war England

- Studied molecular biology, got scouted and hired to join the folks at Big Mountain

- A few years in, after learning about the less-than-ideal experimentation on people there, she wanted out, but knew too much

- She joined the test subjects (unwillingly)

- She got a few early Lobotomite procedures (Brain and Spine out, a few other experiments too)

- The bombs dropped a few months into these experiments, she'd been comatose a while and remained so for a few decades

- She was forgotten and eventually the coma wore off

- She woke up to find herself Ghoulified

- Panic and figuring post-war shit out

- Eventually made it to the Mojave, traumatised by the whole ordeal

- Got to be Too Much™️, drank herself away

- Woke up some time later, unghoulified but still showing some Lobotomite features

- Starts thinking "Fuck it, let's reinvent"

- Chose the name Tess, since she'd forgotten her old name

- Mojave? Time for Cowpoke vibes

- Fakes that stereotypical southern US accent™️™️™️™️

- Not in the rangers or NVR, but that style coat and Revolvers etc

- Eventually gets hired to the Mojave Express, and after a number of years, gets hired to deliver a platinum chip

A couple of my FNV ocs as cats bc I can’t draw people. I didn’t draw all of them bc I’m lazy

Nero; he’s a Legion breeder but later ended up in Zion and was taken in by Joshua. Maybe one day I’ll draw his 9 kids. He has 2 kids with Vulpes, 1 with Joshua, 5 with Lanius and an adopted Dead Horse kid. 

Varius Valentine; Legion Courier. He goes by Valentine when being stealth. His father is Aurelius Pheonix. 

Shilo; NCR scout and also Nero’s oldest daughter. She got saved/kidnapped by NCR as a child and joined the army when she could. She doesn’t realize she’s Legion-born. 

Hades; Kings’ member/hydra addict. He’s got a lot of issues, but gets through them with the help of his best friend Tesla. 

Theo; Lobotomite, former Legion. Vulpes’* twin who got exiled and then stolen by the Think Tank. He retained some humanity and is basically a pet to the Think Tank. Dala named him Theo bc Theodore = Teddy, you know how it goes. The blue eye isn’t his. Borus thought he’d look better with heterochromia.  

*In our rp verse Vulpes is albino, based on his card design. We had the thought that the black haired ver was a different Vulpes, so Theo was Vulpes Princeps.

Whats that??? anOTher fallout oc wELL if you insist THIS Boi is Cappy he’s based off the Fallout new vegas- old world blue’s Dlc Specifically I found the fact that you get insulted n argue with your own brain in that dlc super amusing so I wanted to make a character that went through being a lobotomite and had his brain put back in.  Buuut it didn’t go quite right and his brain has a separate personality from em so he named him Bottles Now he’s constantly talking to himself  Currently hides away in the lucky 38 after being dragged in by the overly curious Mouse ( @sarsaparilla-star ‘s Courier) Formerly he use to hide away in the sunset sarsaparilla factory talking to Festus and has developed a weird habit of refilling the vending machines  alsohe’sopenforequestionslikemyotherfalloutocsifyouwannaslideanyover~

Yiffany Longstocking Lalonde-Harley is becoming a black hole of Bad Writing, destined to suck in more Bad Writing, but absolutely none of it is because she’s name Yiffy. If you’re complaining about it being impossible to take drama seriously with something so absurd going on, I seriously doubt you remember at least half of the “dramatic” scenes from OG Homestuck. But here’s the shit that does get me mad about Yiffany.

The fact that Rose cucked Kanaya twice in the same run, only a couple of updates since the last time.

And yes, that is cheating. I think an emotional tryst is More Cheating than a physical fling, but cheating isn’t a percentage, it’s a pass-fail. And having sex with someone behind your wife’s back, naming the kid and giving it your last name, and hiding it behind your wife’s back for 15 years is a hard fail. The fact that anyone is even debating this is absurd.

The fact that Jade Harley, a character for whom loneliness is a major element in her arc, was complicit in keeping this kid stuffed in the broom closet her entire life.

Rose and Kanaya asked Jane to help raise Yiffy. Even though Jane didn’t become Hitler Stand-In until later, she was still a racist before she outright declared a race war, and she was obviously heading towards that point. And it’s this person who you let in on the secret? I thought Rose and Jade were supposed to be smart, not lobotomites.

I really hate Yiffy’s design. She looks like a british orphan took a dip into hot topic and started their furry phase while they were inside. I know that this isn’t the clothing she normally wears but there are SO MANY anime that make two versions of one school uniform look unique or individualized.

The fact that Yiffy looks like a DaveKat lovechild. To let me elaborate...

Harry Anderson has elements of John and Roxy. The blond hair with a swirl, the buck teeth, the dorky aesthetic with the chill aesthetic. John’s dark blue + Roxy’s light pink = Harry’s light blue.

Tavros Crocker has elements of Jane, Jake, and Tavros. The buck teeth, the black hair with tufts in it, the repressed nerd aesthetic. His text color looks like Gamzee’s purple mixed with Tavros’ dark brown into this dark, barely purple color.

Vrissy is just Vriska, but even then, her quirk combines Vriska’s 8-obssession, Rose’s proper grammar and punctuation, and Kanaya’s Capitalization Of Words Even Though she does it intermittently.

Now that you’ve read all that, look at Yiffy’s design. She’s got the Strilonde blond hair, and the Harley double cowlick, but her hair has elements of Karkat’s pincer-hair and her text color is dark red? That and the fact that she doesn’t have Lalonde lipstick, HarleyBert buck teeth, and if you take away her tail and ears there’s nothing connecting her to Jade or Rose? It’s someone’s DaveKat lovechild OC that they had to recycle.

Not to mention, as per the observation of @absolutely-nothing-to-see-here, the fact that it’s hard to tell she’s a girl outside of her eyelashes (to quote my brother, “that’s a girl?”) means she’s probably supposed to be “the gender nonconforming one”, despite the fact that Harry Anderson “theater kid with a room full of fashion supplies and a sewing machine” Egbert is standing right there.

Also, all four of the Candy Kids have short hair. I’ve seen a couple of Yiffy designs (before she was revealed) that were basically “give her Jade’s hair” or “give her Jade’s hair but make it white”, but all of those genuinely look better than the weird wispy mess
