Junie learns that Tobias enjoyed cooking, and proceeds to start calling him Nia's "Male-wife", despite him not knowing what it means, and refusing to elaborate.

Ha!!! Joke's on you, Junie! Tobias doesn't have a basis for the human concept of marriage or traditional human gender roles, so this taunt is Not Very Effective! >:D

favorite thing about them

God just. Oh my god. Everything? In all seriousness, I think it’s how kindhearted he is (when he’s not beating the shit out of people anyway). The way he reunites with Hero, just to realize they’re still lost to him, that they’ll ALWAYS be lost to him, even if they weren’t going to disappear at the end of it all. The way he sees how he was unintentionally replaced by Partner, yet still treats them both with the utmost kindness. He doesn’t hold a grudge against Partner, or harbor any hard feelings; his best friend found someone who is always looking out for them, and he’s genuinely happy for them. It just breaks my heart every time. 

least favorite thing about them

I get that he’s on a strict timeline, and that he’s probably running on pure adrenaline, but his attack first ask questions later approach is really…not conducive to the mission. That and beating up children aren’t a good look on him. 

favorite line

Gonna have to go with the ICONIC lines from the cave scene in SE5, where he talks about how what you accomplish in life is more important than how long you get. That speech was honestly life changing.

Hero and Partner. They are all friends. The first thing he did when coming back from not existing was to let them know he and the rest of the future were alive ;0;

random headcanon

He feels generally unwell in the future because being a grass type in a world of perpetual darkness sucks. The first time he experienced real sunlight in the past is eye-opening, not only for its beauty, but also for how healthy it makes him feel. He never realized he could feel so good. 

unpopular opinion

I’ve heard various ideas of the nature of his relationship to Hero, and my personal take is that he was their pokemon in the traditional trainer-pokemon style. Specifically, I feel like Hero would’ve had him from when they were quite young, but that he’s probably at least a little younger. 

song i associate with them

Entropy by End of Silence has some lyrics that really resonate with him I feel. I can especially imagine it while they’re fighting Primal Dialga in the future.

this fic, got a point (haha spear) like in the game why would Undyne broke that bridge what would that even accomplish will the soul just lay there waiting if they die??? it could disappear to like idk afterlife? someone could have just take it? yea

(if you're wondering, yes the outline is based on the Bits and Pieces mod, the fic is also based on it too so I did that because why not, and it looks better so-)

also! behind te scene under there, perspective is, hard, normally I'm kind of okay with those but for some reason I chose, this angle, out of all things

perspective, is hard, as you can see there are like 4 Undynes and 2 Frisks... that you can see, I redraw them like a bunch more times

saw a guy gave advice about using cubes(tm) to help with dimensions for the perspectives and so I just do that... it helps a lot actually

Introduction and Shilling

Hiyas! My name is Elizabeth, AKA Ellie or LizaVet, and this is a blog for my to talk about The Owl House, as well as my fic, The Wild Lights.

As a quick synopsis, the Wild Lights is a series of fics that take place after the end of season 1, acting as a sort of alternate season 2. The series has a big focus on developing the characters and exploring the lore of the Boiling Isles, and switches between a fairly large cast of POV characters. 

From the start, and definitely by this point, the fic is insanely canon divergent, and I plan on going in a very different direction with many plot elements and threads. If any of this sounds interesting to you, give it a read. I will warn you though, its rather long, as I have a habit of losing track of my word count.

As for the fics in it so far, we’ve got:

Sketchy Potions & Magic Commotions: Set 1 week after Young Blood Old Souls, Eda and Lilith work together to gather ingrediants for a special potion to make some quick cash, while Luz works to keep her friends safe from the Emperor’s Coven when the Golden Guard shows up for an investigation.

To Be Wild, To Be Happy, To Be Free: With Summer coming to an end, Luz works to find a way to build a portal home, venturing to an island that even Belos won’t go to in order to learn more about glyph magic.

As a note, I’m new at writing fanfic, so I may stumble a bit as I go, but I am insanely proud of the work I’ve put in so far. If you’re interested in the fic, or just wanna hear me scream some random opinions, stick around. I hope you enoy whatever random stuff I have to say <3
