author’s note: part 2 of my model!reader smau :3 joepark, camilleinlondon, and antoinemoreau are reader’s best friends! We’re gonna cover Harry’s NYC shows, but particularly his 15th show, because I’m so proud of our hard-working man 🥺 This one is long, I guess? Plus, there will be a part 3 with the wedding because I’m a sucker for those.

voguearabia For our sixth-anniversary issue, we are celebrating with model YN LN as our issue’s cover face.

We talked about the struggling start of her career and how she achieved being noticed by the most established and esteemed fashion houses in the world, highlighting the beginning of her rising fame and popularity, especially amongst a young generation who never had a connection to the old names of the fashion industry. Of course, we also asked about the announced engagement to singer-songwriter and Grammy winner Harry Styles—especially for you, dear Harries.

A grin formed on his face after he had stepped out of his dressing room and saw YN in the distance, her back surrounded by three bodyguards, the backstage pass dangling around her neck. She grinned as well as soon as she spotted him, and her feet started to carry her faster over to him—until she ran down the hallway and flew into his arms. Harry had already awaited her, arms widely opened, knees slightly bent, and now wrapped one arm around her back while the other steadied her butt as she wrapped both legs around his waist.

“Hey, love,” he whispered into her cheek and pressed several kisses to the soft skin. “I’m so, so, so proud of you,” Harry could hear her whisper into his neck, feeling her arms hugging his neck and shoulders closer. “Thank you, love.”

He felt his heart flutter and tears of pure joy forming in his eyes. He knew that this would’ve never been possible without her by his side, without her constant support and love, and the way she always built him up again if something didn’t work out. She gave him the strength to do this, to try new things, even though they might could turn into the worst nightmare. She had helped him build his career further and further because she always had his back—during every late homecoming because he needed to finish that one recording in the studio, during every breakdown because he got overwhelmed, during every press or paparazzi storm he had to stand through.

YN had always been there for him, loving expression on her beautiful face and open arms in which he could sink and hide if he needed to. She had been his everything from the first moment on, and now, they shared this too—just like they would share a lot more that was coming their way.

“Pretty girl,” he whispered to coax her face from his neck, and the singer smiled his bright smile as she finally leaned their foreheads together, legs still tightly wrapped around him. “There she is.” YN smiled at his words, and without loosing another second, she dove right into the long-awaited kiss—relished in the feeling of his soft, perfect lips on hers, of his strong, large hand wandering from her back to the back of her head to hold her in place, and in the familiar but nonetheless still exciting taste of his kisses.

The couple parted with labored breaths but leaned their foreheads together again. YN gently let the tip of her nose run along his nose and peppered his handsome face with kisses. “You were great—as usual,” she grinned after they had opened their eyes and Harry had let her stand on the ground again. “Glad you enjoyed it. What about the outfit?” He wiggled his brows, and YN giggled before pulling his face back down to her. “I will show you how much I adored said outfit when we get home,” she mumbled against his lips in a teasing tone, letting a low growl rumble out of his chest and laughing softly into their next kiss. “Can’t wait for that show.” His voice was as deep as it could get, and a delicious chill ran down her spine.

Jeff cleared his throat behind Harry’s back, and YN chuckled again before letting her fiancé go. “Ready to take those pictures, handsome?” She asked, and Harry laced their fingers together and raised her intertwined hands to his lips to kiss it. “With you? Always.”

harrystyles I am beyond grateful for this milestone in my career. And it’s only possible because I have people who always support, love, and cherish me. Starting with my fans and family and ending with my gorgeous fiancée, who is always there and keeps my compass on track.

I’ve been thinking of a Muppet adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. And there’s really only one way I see it going. Gonzo would narrate in character as Jane Austen the same way he did as Charles Dickens.

Piggy would insist on playing Lizzie and would be thrilled that Darcy is played be a handsome English actor. Let’s say Josh O’Conner, who plays the role like it’s a Merchant Ivory production instead of a Muppet movie. Piggy is over the moon that she finally starring in a “quality picture.”

Most of the rest of the cast is Muppets. The lack of major female coded characters is mostly ignored, just slotting the best or funniest option for the part. Beaker is Mr. Bennet, constantly roped into being a test subject for Bunson as Mrs. Bennet’s elaborate Rube Goldberg devices to catch husbands for their daughters, Sam the Eagle is Mr Collins. Statler and Waldorf are twin sisters Lady Catherine and Kathleen DeBourgh. Fozzie is Mary but instead of the piano he’s forcing everyone to listen to his standup. Link Hogthrob is Wickham who has to be dragged to elope by Pepe the prawn as Lydia.

And Kermit, sweet affable, Kermit, is of course Mr. Bingley. Piggy is happy to gush to him about Joshiepoo/Darcykins and how wonderful it is to be in a classic romance with such a handsome leading man. And she’s delighted when Kermit appears a tiny bit jealous.

The movie starts as a faithful adaptation, as faithful as it can be with the Muppets. Sure you get little interactions where they are clearly themselves instead of Auten’s character’s, commenting on the script, cracking jokes, bickering etc. Then Piggy witnesses Bingley-Kermit and Jane, who is played by an elegant English rose of an actress, seeming a little too chummy. Maybe the actress (Emma Watson would work) is assuring Kermit that Piggy doesn’t really have feelings for Josh but all Piggy sees is Emma’s hand on Kermit’s back. From then on she’s frantically running around trying to both perform her role as Elizabeth while also sabotaging Jane and Kermit’s scenes.

It works, she startles the horse Jane is riding making Emma fall off and twist her ankle. Emma quits. piggy declare she’ll just have to play Jane too, but no need. Gonzo as Miss Austen introduces a replacement, Lily James.

So now it’s Piggy vs. whatever pretty lady is Jane for this scene. Lily “accidentally” takes croquet mallet to the face. Josh OConner has to chase Piggy through a forest trying to perform Darcy’s first proposal because Piggy is hellbent on running over Sophie Turner with a golf cart.

The whole thing has devolved into chaos by the third act with Kermit screaming at Piggy that of course he was just acting! And he was just mad that she never considered him to be Darcy material. Gonzo rewrites the script so Bingley and Darcy were switched at birth and Kermit is actually Darcy. Final scene is the double wedding of Kermit and Piggy as Lizzie and Darcy and Josh now demoted to Bingley marrying last minute replacement Jane, Sweetums.

Gonzo declares this is all exactly as he, Jane Austen, always envisioned it.

Since Mattel made so much with the Barbie film, they're working on making live action films for American Girl Doll, Barney, Hot Wheels, Magic 8 Ball, Polly Pocket (Lily Collins will star as Polly, so far), Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, Thomas and Friends (yes the train lol), Uno, View Master and Wishbone (yes the dog, lol). ...idk what a live Uno movie could be about 😂 ViewMaster and Magic 8 Ball I can picture being super happy fantasy or horror. Jess is unbearable as a woman, I wonder how Jamie manages to live with her, it's not enough for her already that she controls his life and his social médias, now she wants to interfere in his work, (she convinced him to write dark music 🙄), in fact if I understood correctly Jamie must produce and write songs for his own interest, not for himself or for everyone.

I think Jess wants Jamie to write and perform a song specifically about her, to increase her popularity with teenagers and young adults, she wants Jamie to do what he did for Lily Collins (write a song for her), to show off and draw attention to herself.

Personally I want Jess to free Jamie because she is toxic and manipulative for his career and for his life (the proof is that she does not respect his sobriety, despite some people thinking otherwise).

There's. more proof she doesn't respect him than that. The secret videos, the posting him without his consent, the following him around to every convention and never leaving his side for about a year and a half. This woman has shown every red flag you can think of and probably some none of us have thought of.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jess does want him to write a song about or for her. I wouldn't be surprised if Jess's lack of support on this video was because she wasn't in it herself. I think she wants some sort of recognition from him than she's getting because the recognition he used to give her is still on the decline despite the scant information that they may still be together.

I don't know how Jamie can put up with her or how he hasn't seen through her bullshit. She can't get through a 20 minutes interview without contradicting herself, exaggerating, or straight-up lying so how has he spent years with this woman without also noticing that her stories don't line up and she hyper-inflates her importance when reality paints a different picture. He should know more about her than we do and yet he doesn't also seem to notice how manipulative and self important she comes across.

Jamie is and always has been a trophy to her. He always will be. He's nothing more than a means to an end for whatever career, fame, or fortune she's trying to get. It's sickening to watch or even try to understand. All I know is that she must be horribly manipulative, controlling, and a serious gaslighter to convince him that she's the one he needs to be with.
