I get that calling white lotus lbh a sticky little 'sheep' is a canon translation and stuck in the fandom now anyway, but I do feel the intended spirit of the original word wasn't the sheeple/dumb herd animal that's more common in the western world, but instead something actually conveying sweetness, innocence, purity and youth - lamb.
Famous for being utterly adorable and following around their mothers, gambolling in sunny meadows, curly white wool shining.
And NOW we can talk about black sheep/wolf in sheep's clothing metaphors.

Vitalasubzam Week 2024 Day 2: AU / Roleswap
for this day i decided to make a roleswap of my tourney au (name tbc)
this is supposed to be the scene where the runaway prince turned pirate zam's crew (captained by ro) take vitalasy and zam as hostage but instead decide to keep them in order to use vitalasy's knowledge to find some ancient and powerful artifacts
in this version vitalasy takes over subz' role as protector, zam takes vitalasy's role as leader, and subz takes zam's role as rebel
and rather than the cast returning to old experiences they instead have new ones: vitalasy goes from a shut-in wizard who's less a defender and more an advisor to the closest thing to a knight a shapeshifting wizard can be, zam goes from spoiled prince who basically never gets into any real danger even when hunting to a seasoned adventurer capable of fending for himself, subz goes from a guy whos only alliance was a friendly yet ultimately transactional partnership with reddoons and woogie to intensely caring for two ppl that at first were nothing but burdens to him that he was only really helping out of pity

6. Who was their Azem? What were they like, and were they different from your WoL? Who were their family, friends? Or, if you don’t care for the Azem angle or went in your own direction for their past self, how so? How does your WoL feel about their Ancient identity? (x)
Dies's main love in life is adventure. Similar to Corisande, she always wanted to travel and see what was out there, beyond the familiar. Unlike Corisande, she is very outgoing, prone to taking risks, puts her love for adventure above the people in her life at times, and can be rather flighty. She was closest to her mentor Venat, and had a short-lived romantic relationship with Hermes prior to becoming Azem, but broke up with him in order to focus on her travels. Despite this she was still fond of him as well as Meteion, and it hurt her to see how he changed after the events in Ktisis.
Corisande doesn't feel very connected to Dies. They are each their own person, and their relationships to Venat and Hermes are their own. They don't think about Dies much.

I changed my discord status to "Only YOU can create forest fires!" with the This Is Fine dog emoji during the Candela episode, and it is admittedly very funny with regards to my dnd games this weekend, in the first of which I was aggressively pushing for arson in the middle of the Colorado wilderness, and in the second of which I have been emphatically told not to further assault a tree.
